Kitty: Ohayou minna-san, Kitty Uzumaki here with chapter four. I'm sorry for the long wait, I still have writer's block and I have other things going on right now, but I'm trying the best I can.
Yusuke: Can we just do the damn disclaimer already? And who's doing the disclaimer this time?
Kitty: Oh hold your horses, baka, I'm getting to that.
Yusuke: Fine.
Kitty: Alright then, here to do the disclaimer is none other than….Uchiha Itachi. Itachi, you're up.
Itachi: Alright then, Kitty Uzumaki does not own Naruto, Yu Yu Hakusho or the characters as they belong to their rightful owners.
Kitty: Thank you, Itachi, now then on…Itachi, don't use that on Yusuke.
Itachi: (deactivating Sharingan) Fine.
Kitty: As I was saying, on to the story.
Chapter four: Kuwabara's suspicious part1
The shinobis and the Reikai Tantei were walking out of the office after the shinobis got the scroll from Gaara.
Hinata was still in shocked that the person that has been haunting her mind and dreams is here and is her escort.
'Kurama.' thought Hinata as she recalled what happened in the office.
Flashback
"These five are going to be your escorts." Gaara said as he pointed to the Reikai Tantei and Botan.
Hinata's eyes widened as she saw the red head.
"Introduce yourselves." Gaara said
"Hello, my name is Botan." said the sky haired female.
"Yusuke Urameshi." said a raven haired male with a hint of green gel on his hair.
"Kazuma Kuwabara, at your service." said a tall, ginger haired male.
"My name is Kurama Minamino and this is Hiei." said Kurama, his eyes on the shinobis, but mostly on Hinata.
Hinata blushed as she noticed his stare.
"Shikamaru Nara." Shikamaru said.
"Sasuke Uchiha." Sasuke said.
"H-H-H-Hinata Hyuuga." Hinata said, cursing herself for stuttering.
After the information and Gaara handing the scroll to Shikamaru, he dismissed the three shinobis and the Reikai Tanteis and Botan out of the office.
End of flashback
Hinata was still in deep thought when she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey Hinata." Shikamaru said, breaking her train of thoughts. Hinata shook her head before facing the strategist.
"Hai, Shikamaru-kun?" she asked.
"You okay?" Shikamaru asked.
"H-h-hai." Hinata said.
"Alright." Shikamaru said.
Hinata nods her head as they continue follow Yukina to their rooms.
"Nara-san, Uchiha-san, your room." said the mint haired female.
"Thanks." Shikamaru said, heading in while Sasuke head in as well.
After they were in, Yukina continue to walk with Hinata following the ice maiden. Yukina turn her head to look at the indigo haired female before starting a conversation.
"Were there any trouble getting here?" she asked the indigo haired female.
Hinata shook her head. "Iie, it went smoothly."
Yukina nods her head as they continue to walk down the hall, greeting some sand nins as they walk until the mint haired female stopped.
"Here's your room, Hinata-san." She said.
"Arigato." Hinata said, bowing.
Yukina bowed as well before smiling. "Your room is across from Kurama-san, so if you need anything, he's just across the hall."
Hinata blushed a little. "O-o-oh, I see."
Yukina nods her head before she walked away. After Yukina left, Hinata took a deep breath before she went inside the room to unpack her things before she were to meet up with the others in the dining hall.
With the Reikai Tantei
With Botan gone back to her room to rest, the guys were in Yusuke and Kuwabara's room to talk.
"Those are the shinobis we're supposed to escort back to their village? They don't look so tough." Yusuke said.
"I don't know Urameshi; their energy seems different than any normal human." Kuwabara said.
"That's because they're not ordinary human, they are shinobis." Kurama said. "Not to be mistaken by Jin and Touya. Jin and Touya are demon shinobis, while those three plus Gaara and his siblings are human shinobis."
"Oh." Yusuke said. "I wonder what kind of technique they have."
"Who knows, perhaps we'll find out soon enough." Kurama said.
"I can't to see what they go." Yusuke said.
"Me either." Kuwabara said.
"Hn." Hiei said.
Then there was a knock on the door and Kuwabara, being close to the door, stood up and walked over to answer the door. A servant was there, bowing.
"Lord Kazekage has invited you all for dinner." said the nin.
"Tell him that we're honored and will be there." Kurama said.
"Very well." said the servant before walking away.
Kuwabara closed the door and went back to the others.
Kurama stood up. "I'm going to walk around for a bit."
"Alright." Yusuke said.
Kurama nods his head before he left his teammates' room.
After the red head left, Kuwabara faced Yusuke and Hiei.
"Hey, have you guys noticed something about Kurama?" he asked.
"What do you mean?" asked the Mazoku.
"Ever since we saw those pictures of the shinobis, I don't know, Kurama looked in deep thought." Kuwabara said. "Not only Kurama, but also Botan."
Yusuke raised an eyebrow. "Botan? What does she have to do with what's up with Kurama?"
"I don't know, she seemed different, not her usual self." Kuwabara said.
"Could be a good thing." Hiei said.
"You're imaging things Kuwabara. Nothing is wrong with either Botan or Kurama." Yusuke said.
"Hn." Hiei said.
Kuwabara sighed in defeat. "Maybe you're right."
But in the back of Kuwabara's mind, he suspects that something is strange about the ferry girl and the fox spirit.
Kitty: Ohayou minna-san, what did you think of chapter four so far? Is Kuwabara going to investigate. There isn't much of KuramaxHinata in this, but there will be in the next few chapters and we'll learn Botan's secret as well. Please read and review.
