Chapter Three: The Big Three
Every student in Class 3-A couldn't have possibly cheered any louder. Your ears were rattled and you were definitely shocked at the show of excitement.
Wow, they really support each other, don't they? You think. You watch Eijiro slap Bakugo on the back and tell him congratulations. His expression says how surprised, yet proud he is of himself. Especially when he smirks. Midoriya can't seem to move on his own, so Todoroki simply pushes him up to the platform in front of him, Bakugo ahead of the two. Deku quickly regains his composure, and the three boys-turned-to-men stand proudly behind the principle as the small white creature congratulates them and gives them another speech about setting an example to the other students.
After that, orientation quickly ends with the principal finishing with, "Go beyond!" and
everyone-including yourself-shouting, "PLUS ULTRA!"
All of your new classmates are now buzzing around the new "Big Three," congratulating them and just being . . . happy for them. When it's time to go to class, you walk beside Eijiro and Bakugo, the two of you catching up on as much as you could until you got to the huge door.
"Say, I wonder if Aizawa is our homeroom teacher again this year," Eijiro wonders.
"I wouldn't be surprised," Bakugo grumbles, pushing open the door. You enter the sleek classroom lined with desks and blue chairs set up in four rows of five.
"Alright everyone! Enter in an orderly fashion and go to the same seats as last year!" Iida orders, chopping the air with his arm.
"You're the only one who hasn't entered yet, Tenya," Sero says with a laugh.
Much to your dismay, your in the front row away from Eijiro, but you would be fine. You were always quick with making friends, plus Bakugo sat behind you, so that was something. But . . .
There was no teacher.
"Mr. Aizawa has a tendency to be late to class himself, doesn't he?" Tsuyu Asui says with a finger to her chin.
"Yeah, and he always comes in that yellow sleeping bag," Uraraka agrees.
A laugh escapes your mouth. "A yellow sleeping bag?" You can't help but ask.
"You'll see," Mezo Shoji, the white-haired student with a blue mask sitting next to you, mutters.
As if on cue, a large yellow caterpillar-looking-thing pushes itself into the classroom, but once it turns on its side, you see a very worn-out Shota Aizawa, aka Eraser Head, looking at the class with bloodshot eyes.
"Morning," he mumbles.
"Good morning, Mr. Aizawa!" The class returns.
He lets out a defeated breath, standing and slipping out of the comfort of his sleeping bag and shoving it under his desk. "You all know the drill by now-" his eyes meet yours "-oh. Toru Hagakure has moved to the West side of Japan; you must be the new student from Ketsubutsu. I'm your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. Welcome to U.A-"
"What?! KETSUBUTSU?!" The class questions wildly, looking at you. You glance back at Eijiro, seeing him shrug as Mineta stands on his chair.
"You transferred from Ketsubutsu?!" He stutters. "B-but they hate us!"
You hold up a finger, the motion quieting the class as you say, "Not all of them." With a sly smile, you turn back to the teacher and inform him, "Miss Joke says hi, Mr. Aizawa." You lean forward, propping your elbow up onto the desk and resting your chin in your palm. "And that she still want to get married." He rolls his eyes and sighs.
"She never knows when to stop, does she?" He says with a hand to his face.
"Nope," you answer with a smirk. "She tried giving me a giant bear to bring to you personally that says 'I wuv you,' but I decided against it. Thought, you'll probably get it in the mail by the end of the week."
"Aw, that's so adorable!" Uraraka says. "I would have loved to see that!"
Suddenly, the student in seat one stands and strikes a pose, his aura seemingly radiating sparkles. "I have failed to introduce myself to you," he tells you with . . . a French accent? "I am Yuga Aoyama, and I am fabu-"
"Alright, you've introduced yourself," Aizawa interrupts. Aoyama sits back down with a pout. "The rest of you can save introductions for later. Right now, you need to get into your training uniforms and head to the P.E. grounds." With a sinister smile, he finishes, "It's time for your Beginning of the Year Test."
