He didn't want to go of course, but the crazy blind bitch caught him off guard… and he was healing… just shut-up about it ok. She got the better of him and he doesn't want to talk about it.

Now he's sitting in some sort of tree with a bunch of chalk and shit everywhere. His head hurts and he feels wrong.

Being in the same form for so long has been getting to him lately but he could hardly see himself surviving if he changed now. She was definitely a hunter and he wasn't sure if he'd live in this form around her, let alone his other one.

He was completely helpless like this, much to his disgust of course. The Hunter ignored him as she moved around the cluttered room. Whatever she was doing seemed important to her but, to Sollux, seemed like a load of nonsensical bullshit. She'd pick things up then drop them in literally the same place without using it for whatever the fuck she normally would use it for. Occasionally she would laugh to herself or run her tongue over things with and intent expression carved onto her face.

Eventually the forced isolation pushing on him was too much and he coughed with his best "done with this snarky horseshit" way. The hunter looked up from her "important work" and just grinned at him, displaying teeth a demon would be proud to pull out one by one, with a small rusty teaspoon.

She raised an eyebrow and ran her tongue across her lips "what's wrong with you? You don't seem very happy to be alive," she said.

"Maybe if you told me what the hell I'm doing here I'd save some time to pull a party popper or some other childlike celebration of life," he murmured.

She laughed, pushing at Sollux's quick temper just that tiny bit more. He shouldn't do but, he thought, he was dead anyway.

He grinned, a truly evil grin. Not something as quaint as a smile. This was a grin you'd practice in the mirror to get the perfect severity of one side of the mouth twitching so much higher than the other. It was a perfect stage to display the sudden elongation of his teeth, how they became, in such a sudden moment, fangs. His eyes flashed red then to black pits and his entire body twitched and writhed as he shifted into a creature of destruction and pure hatred.

The grin faded into a smug, compact, curve of the lips. "And now you're all gonna die," he hissed.
