AN: Now, before I begin the chapter, let me first say a huge thank you to everyone who's read, reviewed, followed, and favourited so far. It really means a lot and I hope this story continues to hold your attention. I'd also like to apologize for not having a chapter in such a long time. Writer's block does that to you but having recently watched some of the Marvel movies, I am slowly finding my inspiration again. Now, many of you had the question: when is this story set? I tried to answer that question in the last chapter when I talked about defenestration. For those of you unfamiliar with the word, it means to be thrown out the window. Knowing that, I hope you realize now that this is post-Avengers and, as is the current plan, will not contain anything from any Marvel sequels or Agents of SHIELD. As the writer, I reserve the right to change that. Without further ado, please enjoy this new chapter.

Chapter 4: Return to Gringotts

The next morning was strange to Lokiren, but in a good way. He had slept the best he had in a long time and still woke up early out of habit from living with the Dursleys. To thank his hosts, he decided to make breakfast. Each member of the tower couldn't give enough praise for the delicious full English breakfast that Lokiren had made. Slightly embarrassed, Lokiren was grateful that they liked his cooking and promised to cook again. He then spent the rest of the morning waiting on his grandsire by exploring his suite he was given within the tower, having been too exhausted to do so the night before.

His suite was huge – bigger than anything he'd ever had at the Dursleys and quite possibly larger than the Gryffindor common room. He had a huge four-poster king sized bed and wall of windows that he could black out for privacy or leave transparent for the brightness of day should he wish, courtesy of Stark Technology. He had a walk-in closet, though that was currently bare since all Lokiren had were Dudley's old rags. That would have to be remedied when he was finished with Gringotts. Lokiren's quarters in Stark Tower also came with his own private washroom. Apparently all rooms at the tower were like that, varying only in size.

Around quarter to ten, Loki appeared, silently popping into existence on the roof. He didn't have to go far in search of Lokiren though, for JARVIS's voice rang throughout the building, "Mr. Potter, your grandfather is here. He is waiting on the roof." Thanking the AI, Lokiren collected himself and found his grandsire on the roof, as he had been instructed.

"I trust you have slept well, grandson?" Loki queried.

"Yes, grandsire. Best sleep I've had in years. Can we go to Gringott's now and so I can finish settling things with the Goblins?"

"We may," replied Loki, emphasizing the 'may' as he corrected his grandson's vocabulary. He silently offered his arm, which Lokiren took, and they disappeared instantly reappearing once more back in Diagon Alley, a mere 10m from the wizarding bank of Gringott's. The two sorcerors entered the bank, greeted the goblins, and were immediately ushered into a private room to meet with Ragnok once again.

"Welcome back, Harry, and welcome to you also, oh Prince of Chaos. Shall we finish conducting our business now, then, Harry?" Ragnok greeted.

Nodding, Harry agreed.

"My heritage test said that I have several magical abilities but the only one I've ever been aware of is the parsletongue. Why is this? And what's a silvertongue?"

"A silvertongue," answered Ragnok, "is a person who can speak like an expert. They can use their words to convince, entice, confuse, or persuade anyone to believe them. They can also tell a lie and not be discovered. This ability is made even more powerful by those able to perform occlumency and ligillemency. Those are the arts of protecting your mind and reading others' minds, respectively," the goblin explained at seeing the confused look on Harry's face.

"To answer your first question, however, it appears that you might have some blocks on your core that prevent you from accessing your abilities. We can remove them for you at fee, but it will hurt."

"Do it!" replied Harry. "I am sick of being powerless and weak. I wish to learn how to use these gifts of mine and become what I was never allowed to be. A true warrior! I won't let the light side continue to use me, nor will I allow myself to be defeated by Voldemort."

Surprisingly, no one flinched at the name. Looking at the results of his heritage test once more, Harry wondered about his elementalist abilities and where they came from. He found out that his water powers came from his Slytherin heritance (which came from Loki in addition to his right of conquest against Voldemort) and his fire powers came from his Gryffindor and Peverell side. Shapeshifting also came from his grandfather's line although being magically gifted and having a father that could also turn into an animagus helped, too.

A couple hours later, Harry and Loki left the bank after having gone through the core unblocking ritual and having retrieved some pocket money from his vault. They went to Madame Malkin's where Loki insisted on buying his grandson a completely new wardrobe. Harry got the whole 9 yards: robes for school, casual robes, business/formal wear dress robes, dragonhide boots and gloves, shirts, trousers, socks, underwear, and some new trainers. As this was not a school shopping trip, they avoided most of the other stores. Their final stop was Eeylop's Owl Emporium, where Harry was able to pick up some more food and treats for Hedwig.

Inside the store, there were hundreds of owls and several other pets. There were cats, rats, toads, spiders, dogs, and even some snakes in a large tank at the back of the room. It was here that Harry stopped. He wasn't sure if his new hosts would allow him to have an extra pet but if his grandfather had any say in the matter, which he did, Harry would have no problem bringing home a snake. After all, a parslemouth ought to have someone he can speak to in parsletongue. So what if it was seen as a dark trait? Magic wasn't good or evil, it was just power. It was what you did with the power that made it good or evil. Hearing the hissing power of the snakes, Harry approached their tanks.

Immediately, Harry spotted a beautiful blackish-grey and bright blue mottled snake. Interested, Harry moved closer.

"Foolish human," hissed the snake. "If it gets any closer I'll bite it!"

"Please don't bite me, oh beautiful one. I was just interested in what kind of snake you were. I don't recognize your kind," Harry tried to placate.

"A speaker! I haven't met one in ages. Very well then, speaker, I shall indulge you. I am a magical cross between a black mamba and a blue coral snake. My venom is deadly, should I wish to attack."

"Such a beautiful creature. Would you like to come with me? I would like a companion to speak to. As long as you promise not to hurt my owl or the those I call friends, I would gladly welcome you into my home."

"I should love to get away from the human that runs this place. Very well, I shall come with you and I shan't harm your owl or anyone you don't want me to. Hold out your hand and I will climb on," replied the snake.

Holding out his hand, the snake climbed on. The shop keeper was terrified of Harry's ability to control the snake but with one glance at Loki, allowed Harry to take the snake for a discounted price of a single galleon. Satisfied, the two magicians left the shop and with a pop, returned to Stark Tower in America. Introducing his new friend to the other inhabitants of Stark Tower, Harry and the newly named Calliope (Pi for short) retired to their room while Loki returned to Asgard for the time being. Tomorrow was a new day and his training schedule would commense in just a couple days. Despite its strangeness, Harry couldn't help but think that this was becoming a much more interesting summer.

A/N: Finished a new chapter! Hope it didn't disappoint. I will try to make the next one a little more interesting. I am hoping to start Harry's training and maybe meet one of his Hogwarts friends in the next chapter. By the way, the name of Harry's new snake comes from one of the Greek Muses. The short form of the name, Pi (pee), means rain in Korean. Seemed appropriate given the storm-like colouring and the water elemental powers Harry holds. Thanks for sticking with me! Till next time.
