Percy's POV

"So, you're home," Gabe said

"I am. Much to your disappointment." I replied, "where is Mom?"

"Working." He said, "You got any cash?"

"Yes, Gabe. As a matter of fact, I do." I replied, "too bad it is mine and you can't use it."

"Give it to me boy"

I smirked. Too bad he didn't know some of the powers I got from chaos. As his son, I had increased strength, reflexes, speed, endurance, and scenes. "No."

"What was that boy?"

"Perhaps you didn't hear." I answered, "I said no."

"You will give it to me."

"Really?" I leveled a stare at him

"Yes."

I took a step back and snapped my fingers.

"You don't want my money."

His eyes glazed for a second "Whatever boy I don't want your filthy money anyway."

"I'll leave you and your friends to play poker"

"..." he didn't say anything to me, just turned back to one of his friends and said "Deal"

3rd person POV

Percy entered his room. He had forgotten that Gabe used to use it as his study. He snapped his fingers and his stuff was out of the closet, replaced by the magazines Gabe usually had scattered around the room. He snapped his fingers again and smiled as Gabe's stench was banished from the room.

Percy was sitting on his bed when his mom walked in

"Percy?" He got up and hugged his mom.

Gabe's voice interrupted them "sally how about some bean dip"

"Percy, we are going to Montauk."

Percy's POV ~ Montauk ~ 6 hours later

"Mom? What was Dad like?" I pretended not to know.

"He was tall, handsome, powerful" I knew she was talking about Chaos, she knew I was his son. The knowledge that chaos was my father turned my green eyes gold, and my black hair blacker.

I listened to her talk about my father, and about a summer camp that he wanted me to go to. Eventually, we fell asleep listening to the sound of a crackling fire.

LINE BREAK

Like last time we were woken up by Grover in satyr form. He yelled at me for not telling mom about the fury, which he thought I killed. Mom was also angry that I didn't tell her, as we got in the car.

"You two know each other?" I pretended to be shocked

"She knows I was watching you."

"Watching me?"

"Protecting you."

Thinking back to what I said last time I said "um… what are you exactly?"

"That doesn't matter right now."

"Doesn't matter? From the waist down, my best friend is a donkey!"

Grover bleated.

"Sorry, you're a satyr right?" I said knowing he would be offended by being called a donkey "that would be half goat correct?"

"Looks like someone was paying attention in Latin."

"So myths are real?"

He nodded, "Like Ms. Dods."

"So you admit Ms. Dods existed."

"Yes, but the less you knew the better." If only he knew how much I knew. "But you began to find out who you were anyway."

"What am I?"

"No time to explain. They're coming."

"Who?"

"The lord of the dead and his minions." Wow, they hades could really act.

"Where are we going?" I asked knowing full well the answer.

"That summer camp"

We raced towards camp half blood for 3 minutes before the car exploded.

"Percy get to the property line. Take Grover" I wasn't scared hades would care for her.

We ran up the hill towards thalia's pine we passed the barrier

I turned to face the Minotaur, who was holding my mother. It closed its fist and she was gone.

The fact that I knew it would happen and that Hades would take care of her did not make losing her again any easier.

I clicked Protean and it elongated to its 4-foot sword form. The beast charged. I met it's ax with my sword and backflipped away. It swung again and I blocked, I may be strong but until I am 21 I won't have my full primordial powers, so my strength was enough to block but my arms ached in the effort

It charged with its horns trying to gore me. I jumped and brought protean down on its left horn.

It bellowed and swatted me into thalia's pine.

Thalia. The daughter of Zeus made her stand here and so would i.

Around me, I felt the charge of electricity in the air. I focused on creating more centering it on my sword, and lightning crackling around it. My eyes had gone from gold to glowing white, as electricity flowed all around me. I pointed my sword at the minotaur and discharged the energy. I saw the lightning hit the minotaur reducing it to a fine dust before I turned around and headed to camp, Grover groaning about food in my arms.
