Turn on my light light

The world seems so bright tonight

There seems to be a little sparkle

the the usually bright stars.

Watching over our sinning souls

persuading us towards the good.

I see a little blond girl

so young, yet strong

her hair is blond with a little curl

She's five, and I don't think I'm wrong

She comes into my soul

whispering 'Don't do it'

And suddenly I realize the amazing truth.

Persuading us towards the good.

So if your feeling alone

All buried in despair

Look into the night sky

and mutter a small prayer.

For he has given us love and pro-tec-tion

From all evil that we know...
