Chapter 3

The Power of Magic

"Help for what?" Drizella asked.

"A curse! A horrible curse!" Cal said holding Lucy tighter.

"Thank you, Ella," Regina says. "That brought us to them." She still held the heart in her palm.

She nodded and closed her eyes. Regina pushed it back in. Cinderella sighs. "I never wanted to use that spell, I didn't know what it would do!" Regina said.

"Well, it's fine and we found Anastasia," Charles said.

"What do you want me to do?" Anastasia asked.

"Stop this!" Zelena says.

"Everything happens all at once! We need the curse broken!" Aladdin said.

"Oh my, I don't think even I could do that!"

"My mom and dad are kidnapped!" Isabella cried.

"My daughter is under a sleeping curse!" Henry said.

"Agrabah is being attacked!" Jasmine explained.

"My daughter needs to rest somewhere!" Nook said holding Alice.

"My daughter has gone evil!" Zelena said.

"I am supposed to be dead right know!" Rumple yelled.

"We need help!" they all cried. Anastasia stood dumbfounded. "Who did this?" she asked.

"Peter Pan!" Snow said.

"I thought he was, like, chained or something!" Drizella said.

"Or dead!" Anastasia added.

"No. He's immortal!" Rumple said. His eyes widen. "To hurt me…"

"What?" Charles asked.

"He's doing all this to hurt me isn't it! I am his son…"

"No. It can't be just that…" Isabella said.

"I'm sorry, but I don't even think I could break this curse," Anastasia explains. Everyone sighs.

"Why don't you just try to kill yourself!?" Charming offered to Rumple.

"Kill himself?!" Drizella asked.

"It's a little hard to explain," Chad says.

"I don't even think I have a heart! I gave mine to Hook or otherwise known as Nook," Rumple explained. "You can try."

Zelena and Regina gave each other a shrug. "You ready?" Regina asked. "If it works, this might hurt!" Zelena says.

"Anything to get back to Belle." He nods. Zelena and Regina opened their palms. Green and purple light shot on Rumple. Snow covered Neil's eyes. The force got stronger and stronger. He dropped to the ground. Regina walked to him. He blinked.

"Dang!" she said.

"I thought this was getting better," Charles cried.

"Still alive?" Drizella asked.

"Yeah," Zelena sighs.

"Let me try," Anastasia says.

"This might darken your heart though!" Aladdin explains.

"If it's for the best, I'm sure it's fine. Go on Anna," Drizella says.

She used all her force. He moved slightly. "This won't work. He is now, immortal."

Rumple opens his eyes. "Belle?"

"Sorry, but your still alive," Nook said sadly.

"Ugh!" he scowled.

"We'll find a way," Charming said. `

"Look, I might not be able to help but I might know how to help," Anastasia says.

"How?" Chad asked.

"Well, even though I know magic, I do know some spells…" she continues.

"What spell?" Regina asked.

"I've heard of it. You need to collect some objects. I can't guarantee all the problems will be solved, but it should hurt Peter Pan. Even though he's immortal."

Rumple's face lit up. 'It can kill immortal's,' he thought.

"What objects do we need to find?" Cal asked.

"Come to our house, everyone can rest there until we have a plan!" Anastasia says.

"Come to our house!?" Drizella asks.

"Come on! They let you go here with me with no fight! This is the least you could do! Besides, you don't have to do much!"

Drizella didn't say anything but nods.

"Follow me," Anastasia says guiding everyone through the woods.

They lived in an actual house! It was made of brick with a nice pathway leading to the door. I was nicely layered with a big chimney planted on top. There was a field around the house.

"This place belonged to the 'Three Little Pigs!' But they moved out, and we came in. Quick switch!" Drizella explained. "Come on in!"

Henry and Cinderella walked in first. Followed by Regina, Chad, Charles, Cal, Lucy, Isabella, Rumple, Neil, Snow, Charming, Aladdin, Jasmine, Zelena, Robin, Alice, Nook and then Anastasia and Drizella.

Cal put Lucy down in a bed and kissed her on head then walked to where everyone was standing. Alice slightly opened her eyes and started to squirm in Nook's arms. "Don't move," he said putting her down on the couch.

"What happened," she murmured.

"Tell you later, just rest," Robin says covering her with a blanket.

"Okay, what do we need to find?" Isabella asked.

"Here," Anastasia brought a spell book out from the closet. It had a gold outline.

Snow took it. She flipped through. "This page?" she asked. Anastasia nods.

"Is it a map?" Charming asked,

"Yeah," Neil said looking from below.

"Do you mind?" Snow asked.

"Not at all," Anastasia says. She rips the map out of the book. "Let's go then!" Rumple declared. He wasn't asking.

"We need a plan!" Jasmine said.

"Then what do you have in mind dearie?" he questioned, his tone hard.

"We'll all have to come up with one!" Charming said. "We can't just barge right into the action!"

"Let me see that map," Isabella says. Snow passed it to her. "I'm a good navigator!" It started at this house, down to a troll bridge, up the beanstalk, a tree, a waterfall and the last spot was a cave. "Oh jeez."

"What?" Charles asked.

"We have a little journey ahead of us!" she shows the map to everyone.

"My goodness," Zelena said.

"We don't even know if this could help us!" Aladdin chimed in.

"I guess we just need…" Snow turns to Rumple. "We just need a bit more… encouragement?" She was half telling, half asking a question.

"Re-phrasing words still won't deny it's meaning you know," he said. There was a moment of awkward silence.

"Are we going to start planning or what?" Cal asked.

"I think it's better to think while we're traveling," Chad offered.

"We can't leave Lucy!" Cinderella said.

"I can put a protection spell over the house so no one can make their way through," Regina says looking around.

"I should stay," Drizella says. "Anastasia should go. She'll probably be able to help. But you have to promise to keep her safe!"

Zelena nods. "Of course, we will!"

"I'm coming too!" Alice said getting up. "No! You need to rest!" Nook explained. "I think I had enough rest today papa. I'm coming with you." He sighs but doesn't argue.

Everyone exits and Regina put the protection spell on. Cinderella sighs, resting on Henry's shoulder. "Don't worry, she's going to be fine," he says. "My family always finds a way!"

Isabella looks at the map. "Follow me."
