The next day Team Core Tech were in the cafeteria, eating some breakfast. It's been two days since Sarah was exposed to monsuno essence but miraculously didn't seemed to suffer any changes. Or so they thought.

Sarah slowly came into the room, slumped over a little and holding her head. "Hey Sarah." Chase greeted happily, but was surprised when he saw how she looked. Her face has a small expression of pain while her body looked exhausted. "Sarah , are you feeling okay?"

"Yeah mate, you don't look so good." Dax added.

Sarah groaned, "I-I'm not feeling so good." That's when her chest glowed green and blue, shocking the team. "What the kraag?!" Bren cried. Sarah grunted in pain from the glow and it suddenly stopped. Sarah fell to her knees on the ground.

Her friends immediately came to her side. "Sarah, are you alright, say something." Jinja said. Sarah just groaned in response.

"Let's get her to my dad, he'll know what's wrong with her. " Chase suggested. The friends agreed and Dax picked up Sarah and they rushed her to Chase's dad.

Soon, Sarah was placed on a table with wires attached to her face and chest. Jerdy was at his computer scanning her body. Chase and his friends could only watch with worried and concerned eyes. "So what's wrong with her dad?" Chase asked.

"It looks like the monsuno essence she absorbed is fusing with her." He replied.

"Fusing?" Jinja asked.

"Yes, the monsuno essence is fusing with her DNA, making her part monsuno and half human." Jeredy explained.

"But how is that possible?" Beyal asked. "She didn't show any signs of change before."

"Yeah, when Jon Ace got hit with monsuno essence he turned into Toxic Ace." Bren added.

"I don't but, it's clear that the essence is becoming a part of her." Jerdy added.

"What about her glowing chest, Doc?" Dax inquired.

"That's a sign of the essence further fusing with her DNA."

"So what should we do?" Chase questioned.

Jerdy stood up and faced the team. "For now, Sarah should get some serious rest and let the essence complete it's process and we'll see how she is afterwards."

The team nodded. "I'll take her to her room." Dax said.

He went over to the table and took off the wires and carefully carried Sarah, whom passed out on the way to Chase's dad. He carried her all the way to her room, where he was greeted by Mareep and the other pokemon. They cried in worry seeing their trainer unresponsive. "It's alright you three, she just needs some rest." Dax reassured. He layed her down on the couch and placed a blanket over her. "Now you three, you come and get us when she wakes up alright?" Dax asked. The pokemon nodded and watched as Dax exited the room. Rockurff leaped onto the couch and nested into the side of her owner and fell asleep along with her.

Meanwhile, Droog was in his ship doing his research. "For a primitive time, Dr. Jeredy's work on the failsafe device was a stock of genius. I must have those plans to continue my research."

"And where does he keep this information." Trez asked.

"On Cloud Carrier Freedom."

Dasha gasped. "That's their most heavily guarded clud carrier we could never attack with a frontal assault."

"Perhaps a more secretive method is in order. I will go on board and require the information you seek." Petros said.

"Alright Petros, you can proceed with this mission, but do not fail me. I don't take failure lightly."

Petros nodded and he went off.

Meanwhile, Sarah woke up a few hours later and met the eyes of all of her friends. "Hey Sarah, how are you feeling?" Jinja asked.

Sarah sat up and rubbed head. "Better than before."

"Good. Chase said. "Can you stand up?"

Sarah took off the blanket and stood up with a little wobble in her legs. "Easy." Jinja helped stabilize her balance.

"Thanks." Sarah said. "What's going with me?"

"My dad says that the monsuno essence your body adsorbed is fusing with your blood. Making you half human and half monsuno."

"Huh?" Sarah squeaked.

"Don't worry, Doc said the essence is not life threatening but we have to keep an eye on you to see if there are anymore changes." Dax added. Sarah nodded.

"Now come on, let's go. Trey said he has something for us." Chase stated.

The friends all went to the briefing room and found Trey waiting for them. "Good you all here. I have a special assignment for you six. We have a special guest on the Cloud Carrier that needs to be escorted and entertained."

"A special guest?" Beyal asked. "Oh my."

Bren had his fingers crossed. "Oh please be someone famous, be someone famous, be someone famous."

"I'd like to introduce you to my nephew Sebastian."

The door opened and standing their was a children smiling. He had brown hair and wore a white jacket. "Uuuh?" Chase and his friends, except for Sarah went. Sebastian went over to Trey. "Hey Uncle Trey I was just wondering." He turned to Chase and his friends. "Woah, hey is that them? Really them? Really Team Core Tech really? Uh, they don't look like losers."

"This is the VIP? Your nephew? I don't think so Lieutenant." Dax said. Chase agreed and crossed his arms. "Yeah, we're Team Core Tech we don't do babysitting."

"Unless we're babysitting Bren or Sarah." Jinja added.

"Haha, so funny. Not." Bren said. Chase and his friends except for Sarah started heading towards the door. "We are so outta here."

"Team Core Tech!" Trey called. "While Commandant Marshall Ace is off ship, I am in charge of you five. You can either watch my nephew for the day or clean toilets for a month with this toothbrush... except for Sarah."

Sebastian giggled a little. Beyal, Jinja, Bren and Dax turned to Chase. "Come on guys, we saved the world like twice now, how hard can watching his kid be?" he said. "You got a deal LT."

Trey placed a hand on Sebastian's shoulder. "Sebastian go with Team Core Tech, they'll watch over you today."

"Sweet!"

Trey made his exit. "Don't let him out your sights."

As soon as he exited the door he was relived. "Oh thank my lucky stars."

In the room, TCT and Sebastian stood on either side of them room. So what should we do first? What should we do first?" Sebastian repeated, running in place. Jinja put a hand on her head. "I'm not so sure about this you guys."

"Gotta be better than toilet duty." Dax said.

"Yeah, did you see that toothbrush?" Bren shuddered.

Chase went over to Beyal, "Beyal, you're probably the best with kids. Go for it." Beyal approached the small kid and called his name softly, but Sebastian didn't listen until he yelled it. "Huh?"

"Uh... what would you like to do?" Beyal asked.

"Play tag." He pushed Beyal back. "You're it." His friends caught him. He sighed, "Perhaps toilet duty is no so bad."

Meanwhile, in a large field, two STORM soldiers were collecting monsuno essence. "And that's the last of it." one solider said.

"Sheesh, I joined STORM for monsuno battles, instead we're just doing boring chores." his comrade said.

"Yeah, I hear ya, but what we gonna do?"

"Cower in fear." Petros said as he appeared on the scene. "Slikar, Launch."

Petros launched his alien monsuno on the soldiers who whimpered in fear. "What is that?" one of them cried.

"Here's the monsuno battle that you so crave." He laughed evily and took the Cloud hopper, leaving the solider without their uniforms and tied up.

Meanwhile, TCT was in a room with Sebastian, the child was running in circles around them, sounding like an airplane. Sarah didn't seem to be bothered by this. Her friends, on the other hand. "So much energy. Make it stop. Can't go on." Jinja said, holding her head.

"Hey Sebastian." Sarah cried. The kid came over to her. "Yes?"

"I have another friend whose just as energetic as you."

Sebastian's face lit up with excitement. "Really? Who?"

"Rockruff, come here boy!" The puppy pokemon came running into the room and straight into Sebastian's arms. "Woah, cool dog." Rockruff licked his face, making him laugh. "You can play with Rockruff while to stay here, alright?"

"Okay Sarah." Sebastian zipped off with the puppy pokemon. Chase and his friends sighed in relief. "Thanks Sarah."

"Your welcome." That's when Chases's dad came in. "Chase, I need you for something real quick."

"Okay dad." He went with his dad to his lab. The rest of his friends went off to do something else, now knowing the kid was occupied. Sarah went to see how Blitz and Sebastian were getting along. However, she couldn't find them. "Must be playing hide and seek." Knowing Rockruff would take good care of Sebastian, Sarah decided to get some sleep.

While she was sleeping, her chest once again glowing in the mixture of blue and green.

Hours later, the alarm went off, waking Sarah in a shock. Rockruff came running in and roaring in distress. "Rockruff? What is it?"

Rockruff didn't answer but he ran towards the door and Sarah followed. He lead her onto the dock where she found Chase and the others. Lock was out chasing a new monsuno. It looked like a large alien shake with screws for arms. "Chase, what's going on?" Jinja asked.

"Petros, he's stolen the plans for the failsafe devices. We have to stop him." Chase said.

"Failsafe?" Sarah thought.

"Return." Petros returned his monsuno and boarded a cloud ship. He took off when Lock and the team arrived. "Lock, blast it out of the sky!" Chase ordered.

"No wait, look! Sebastian is on Petros's ship!" Beyal said and the team saw the kid waving at them from the ship. "Aww Kragg." TCT, except for Sarah said. The ship flew off with the little store away.

"NO way we lose dad's work and pick up all the toilet duty." Chase said.

"Uh, don't you mean no way we lose Lieutenant Trey's nephew?" Jinja stated.

"Oh yea, that too. Lock, Return." Lock returned to his core. "Let's fly."

"Evo."

"Neo-Quickforce!"

"Skyfall."

"Mysticblade."

"Airswitch."

"LAUNCH!"

The five cores collided and the flying monsunos were released. Chase and Bren rode on Evo while Sarah and Blitz rode with Jinja on Skyfall. Beyal and Dax rode on their respective monsunos. They caught up with the ship. "We got to get it on the ground." Chase said.

"One crippling monsuno attack, coming up." Dax said. "Airswitch, Quad Flash!"

Airswitch blasted the ship with multiple pulses of energy, sending it crashing to the ground. The team landed on the ground. "It's over Petros, bring out that info." Chase called.

"And the kid." Jinja hissed.

"Bring out the info and the kid."

The ship hatch opened up revealing Petros holding Sebastian. "I would leave right now if I were you." he said. "Unless you don't want to see this children again."

Rockruff rushed over to Petros and bit in on the arm. He screamed in pain and let Sebastian go. Rockruff released his bite and ran with Sebastian, but they were stopped by Quarp, Zurm and Klorg.

"Ready Rockruff?" Sarah said. Rockruff howled. "Use Rock Throw!" Rockruff leaped into the air and launched rocks at the three monsunos, knocking them back.

"Cool." Sebastian said.

Zurm fired a beam at him, but Rockruff dodged and rammed him. Mysticblade came in and blasted Zurm with Cannon Flight, sending the monsuno skidding across the ground. Evo used Shockwing and sent Klorg and Quarp into the air then Skyfall blasted them with Tracer Whip.

Meanwhile, Droog and Petros were discussing. "Where is that tablet?" Droog asked.

"Not without or freedom." Petros stated.

"Petros without my crafting of monsuno essence the Hand of Destiny will wither and die." Petros growled, knowing he was right. He held the tablet in his hands. "Fine, here." Before Droog could take it, they heard a roar. They saw Quarp flying towards them after being thrown being hit by Rockruff's Accelarock. Droog and Petros screamed and moved out of the way but Petros dropped the tablet and it was crushed by the force of Quarp's fall. "NO!" Droog cried.

"Alright Rockruff, let's finished them."But before she could slashed it, her chest glowed brightly and she felt a wave of pain. "AGH!"

"Sarah!" TCT cried. Sarah fell to the ground and holding her chest.

Chase held her in his arms. "What's happening?" Jinja asked.

"I don't know." Suddenly, Sarah entire body glowed brightly and the team shielded their eyes. The monsuno's and pokemon stopped fighting and looked towards the light. When the light died down, Sarah was no longer in pain. "Wh-What happened?"

She looked at her friends whom had shocked expressions on their faces. "What?"

"Sarah... don't freak out but-" Chase started.

"You've somehow-" Jinja added.

"Grown a pair of wings and a tail." Bren finished.

"Huh?" Sarah looked and saw that she indeed and a blonde tail and blonde wings as well. "What? H-How?!"

"No idea." Dax said. Droog and Petros saw this change from afar. "Hmmm, very interesting." Droog said.

Sarah decided to worry about her wings and tail later, "Rockruff, let's finish this."

Rockruff howled in agreement. "Use Rock Slide!" Rockruff howled and launched large boulders at the monsunos, creating a large explosion and they returned to their cores. "Alright!" Chase cheered. Rockruff howled in victory as Droog and Petros ran away.

The battle was won

Back at STORM it was dusk and the team were out on the deck. "Well just kinda another normal day for Team Core Tech, except for he whole babysitting thing." Chase said.

"I don't know, it was kinds fun." Bren said.

"Team Core Tech." The friends looked behind them and saw Trey and Sebastian. "Sebastian told me everything."

"Everything?" TCT said in unison.

"Team Core Tech is awesome. Now I have a better opinion of you Bren. I enjoyed my visit so much, that I wanna stay another week." Sebastian said.

"So get back to work." Trey laughed and walked away with a smile on his face while TCT, except for Sarah, just fell to the ground groaning. Sebastian ran in circles around them making the airplane sounds again.

It was going to be a long week.
