"You dare deny me you insolent whelp" Happosai spat, his voice filled with venom, he leapt back from Ranma and pulled out a homemade bomb "Happo Fire Burst" he yelled before throwing it at the older Ranma, who grew an almost demonic smirk and seemed to disappear as he used his superior speed to get behind the freak just as the bomb left his hand, combusting when it struck the wall opposite him where Ranma once was.

His eyes widened when his target vanished, it was then he heard a low chuckle, he span round to see the older Ranma towering over him, a blue fiery aura surrounding his body, Happosai glared at Ranma, sweating slightly from the power he felt coming from him in waves.

'Perhaps I underestimated him, that aura isn't a human one, yet the younger one is' Happosai mused, stumbling back slightly, he knew he could beat a cocky, naïve, adolescent Ranma, but an older, wiser, more skilled, demonic Ranma, now that was another story.

The older Ranma smirked, he could smell the freak's fear, it reminded him of the day the freak found out about his new demonic status, it had been one of the final days the freak harassed his female side and even began to avoid him.

"What happened to you Ranma?" Happosai asked, his glare never fading.

"You'll find out soon enough" Ranma replied in an almost cryptic tone, Kasumi giggled at Ranma's tone, she agreed that Ranma kept his secrets to himself, especially when he knew what she was and that there was no telling what else he knew.

"Don't take that tone with me Ranma, tell me now" Happosai demanded.

"NO!" Ranma spat, his voice in an almost demonic tone.

Happosai stumbled back further, sweating slightly from Ranma's tone, this worried the two fathers as they observed to confrontation between Happosai and the elder Ranma, it scared them when they saw how scared the Master was, the one who rarely showed fear and was the cause for all their nightmares and at this very moment he was terrified.

'Why is the master so scared of the boy?' Genma questioned, beginning to wonder if it was a wise move to try to force Ranma to give up the information like the one who is destined to kill him.

That Night…

The older Ranma stood atop the Tendo roof, knowing that he could end up staying at the Tendo's for a while before he could get back to his time, he just hoped that no one else found the book, he didn't want certain individuals from his time getting back to this time, many acquaintances his would jump at the chance to remove his past self and thus be rid of him by erasing him from most if not of all of their time stream.

He felt a familiar presence and turned round to see his younger self opposite him, they made eye contact, it had been a while since he'd seen eyes like that, filled with loneliness and depression yet still filled with wonder and hope, even when confronted with a future like him, one that struck fear in the heart of the 'Greatest Evil Of Japan.'

Ranma stared into the eyes that would be his in the future, the loneliness and depression seemed to had almost vanished and was replaced by the light of friendship and love and yet was held together by a deep and powerful darkness.

"Hey" the older Ranma greeted, breaking their eye contact, eyes were the windows to the soul and his soul had to remain a secret above all else, he couldn't let his younger self find out who and what he was to become.

"Hey" Ranma replied.

"Did you want something?" the elder Ranma asked.

"Yeah, I married in the future" Ranma stated.

"Yes, as for who you must find out the hard way like I did" the elder Ranma replied.

"I know, what I want to know is how did I break free from the other engagements?" Ranma asked, his older self let out a slight chuckle.

"Trust me when I say you'll figure it out, though I will give you a hint, theirs a small loop hole in the Amazonian laws that they haven't informed you of yet" the older Ranma stated with a dark smirk.

"WHAT?! There's a way out of that without getting me and the one I chose killed?" Ranma gasped.

"Yeah, but it'll be a couple years before you can use it" he answered.

"Oh…well I can wait, so what about the others?" Ranma asked.

"No, if I tell you anymore I reveal who you marry" he replied.

"But from what you said about your marriage you'd want me to change it and make sure it doesn't happen" Ranma replied.

"No, don't try and change it, the reason I ended up with the one I care for is because the first one failed and besides I may have failed the first time, but you may not fail and perhaps your first marriage will be with the 'one' remember the future can always be changed, it's very complicated the way time works" he explained.

"So who did you end up with?" Ranma asked.

"What did I just say?" he snapped.

"That you might not be my future, that the future can always be changed and all that" Ranma replied.

"I'm not telling you who I ended up with and that's final" he snapped, Ranma froze when he spotted something, his older self, his blunt nails had grown into long, black and sharp claws.

"What happened to me?" Ranma asked as he stared at the claws, his older self followed his gaze and so his flaws and sighed before retracting them.

"A lot can happen in sixteen years Ranma and this happened fairly early on" he replied.

"Can it be avoided?" Ranma asked, not keen on the idea of having claws and whatever else came with them.

"Yes, but not without a price, I chose to become this and you'll see why when the time comes" he replied cryptically.

"How long?" Ranma asked.

"You'll see, now go to bed, fore knowledge is dangerous and what's more dangerous is us, I shouldn't be here, I shouldn't be anywhere near you, just talking to you puts a strain on the time stream, I can't intervene in anything and I can't give you too much information on your future" he stated, Ranma nodded, he didn't quite understand it entirely but he knew when something was bad and he would rather not have any more chaos in his life.
