Hey guys it's AF725 back from the dead. I am so sorry for the HIATUS I have been on. I started college for about 2 years and didn't think I'd make a comeback. But here is the 4th chapter ...again for those of you who've stuck around. I re-wrote a few parts and adding a different ending. So here goes noting. Those of you new to this WELCOME! And those who stuck around thank you so much. Enough of the chit chat Nick Mallory take it away!
Nick Mallory: Nick is stoked that AF725 is back and here is chapter four. Nick Mallory hopes you enjoy.
No one's POV
Carrie yells, "Red is making a run for it, I repeat Red has made a run for it!". The so called Red is none other than Ms. Laney Penn running out of the room and into the living room looking for a hiding place away from the Makeover Crew.
Nikki smirks, "Laaanneey come out to plaaaay". Carrie thumps her on the back of the head, "Ow what the heck Beff!"
"Be quiet if it's silent enough we might be able to hear her". Mina interrupted, "Or we can look behind the curtain with the combat boots sticking out", she said gesturing toward the pink curtains. They all surrounded the curtains and pulled it down to reveal the red head smiling sheepishly, "Hehehe I was never good at Hide N Seek...".
They all dragged her back into the room and Laney pouted. "I don't understand why I have to dress up. Can't' I wear what I want?" Carrie carefully added eye shadow to Laney's eye lids. "If we did you'd be wearing an Avenged Sevenfold band T shirt ripped jeans and black combat boots".
Laney huffed and folding her arms, "I'll have you know that I wear the A7X shirt with much pride". All the girls sighed in replied, "It's also like totes unappealing, it's time to change your style. You want to impress Corey don't you ?" Katrina said. Here we go again...might as well let them do it I suppose...Laney thought.
Corey's POV
"Thank you again for coming Cherry I owe you one", the giggling actress just rolled her eyes. She had grape colored hair with a single streak of pink in it and had violet eyes as well. She wore a pink hoodie and white shorts with white sneakers. "Please you did me a favor. I mean I was just being a cameo for yet another season of Total Drama, that Chris McClain can be scary". I chuckled.
"I know, remember I had to play at his niece's 14th birthday last year. The man had tried to have me sign up for Total Drama, thank goodness my manager was there o scare him off"
They both laughed. "So tell me why I am here again?". I simply took out my phone and scrolled to a picture of Laney at the club. "Oh wow she's gotten even more beautiful". I nodded in agreement. "I know and I want to win her back but seeing that I am 'dating' you". Cherry cocked her eyebrow, "And your okay with the press on your ass for breaking up with 'America's Sweetheart".
"No I have a plan that might just work...how soon can you learn a new song, have your parents here and do a complete makeover". I whispered her the plan in her ear, Cherry looked worried, "That would take me more than 10 hours". I sighed, "Can you make it by the end of my concert".
"You're concerts in 4 hours, Riffin" Corey pulled puppy dog eyes to Cherry. " No put them away!" Corey smirked. "Come on Cherry my plans full proof you gotta do it"
Cherry thought it over, "Okay my parents are in Phoenix so that wouldn't be a problem just give me the music sheets and Brad wouldn't mind helping me with the makeover so I'll see what I can do". I wrapped her in a big hug and kissed her on the forehead. "Did I ever mentioned you are the greatest person ever".
"You can mention it more, but seriously I need the music because we have less than 4 hours", I sprinted into my studio and ran back in record time. "Now here it is...NOW GOOO!", Cherry was out by the door as I finished. I looked at my phone at the picture of Laney. "I really hope this works".
Laney's POV
"I really hope this works guys...I mean what if he doesn't notice me"
"Don't be stupid Penn, he couldn't keep his eyes off of you earlier at the club" Carrie said while curling my hair. "Alright last curl...and done" I stood up and headed toward the mirror.
Nikki gave a whistle at me and I blushed. "I don't know Laney you look really good". I looked into the mirror and saw that my hair was now curly, my makeup lightly on so my green eyes are more intense. I wore a black laced dress that stoppage ed just below my knees and some black ballerina flats. "One last final touch" Nikki approached me and attached a hairpin that had the grojband symbol sweeping back my bangs.
"You look beautiful", Mina smiled. I smiled lightly at the girls, "Thanks guys". They all just smiled back and Carrie spoke "Well now that we are done with you, wait in the living room and wait for us to get ready". I nodded and walked into the living room.
Suddenly my phone vibrated
Hey love it's Jordan, you free tonight?

I smiled and texted back
I'm going to a concert tonite 8pm can you make it?
To: Jordan
I waited for a reply which felt like forever...soon the buzz came.
Just text me the deets and I'll meet you there. Love you.

Yes! Jordan can make it.
In a minute and love you too
To: Jordan
I texted Jordan the details of the concert and then walked over to the room where everyone was getting ready. "Hey is it cool if I invited my friend Jordan". Trina stopped applying makeup to her face and looked straight at me "Who the heck is Jordan?"
I chuckled lightly, "Relax he's harmless, he was one of my friends from the academy. Who happens to bat for the other team if you know what I mean"
Hey "Is he cute?" Nikki cocked an eyebrow. "Yeah his boyfriend thinks so" We all laughed and continued to get ready.
4 hours later...
Corey's POV
"You ready Mr. Riffin", I run my hands through my hair. Just then my phone vibrated and saw it was Cherry.
hey, makeups done and my parents should be here in 20 mins. Should give you enough time babe

I fist bumped air, "Yes!"
Can I just say you are amazing ! How does dinner for two in Paris sound ?

I waited for her response for a minute and then my phone vibrate

i rolled my eyes. Brad is so lucky to have someone who isn't into materialistic things. If I didn't love Lanes, Cherry would be the perfect girlfriend.

"As ready as I'll ever be", Christy walks into my dressing room.
"Nice going on the duet with Cherry, it's going to be a big hit and a big finale for this concert", I chuckled. "Well I thought the fans waited long enough to hear a duet coming from the power couple". She smirked, "Uh huh and this has nothing to do with trying to win over Laney".
I looked at her with a goofy smile, "Whatever do you mean?". She rolls her eyes, "Well come on you're suppose to be starting 5 minutes ago".
I slip on my guitar and walk out the dressing room, "Yes mother".
I walk backstage and already hear the crowd roaring as they cheer my name. I can't help but smirk, I really hope the guys and Lanes made it. I step out and see all my fans holding up 'Welcome Home' signs.
"HELLO PEACEVILLE!", I shout out. "Let's get this concert started", the music blares and I spot my old band in the VIP section. Lanes is glued onto me. I smiled
"Hopefully you RifFans (A/N: See what I did there lol) remember this song"

I grabbed my acoustic and strummed my guitar and the drummer followed in beat

I looked at the VIP section and made eye contact to Laney smiling while singing. What nobody knows is I made this song a few years back to Laney but everyone assumed it was for Cherry. It's okay though because I get to finally pour my heart out to the future Mrs. Riffin in person.

Laneys POV
Of course he starts off with the song he wrote for Cherry...this is the song he made for her to ask her out. I looked over toward Corey and he was staring right at me. I blushed a little but gave him a small smile cheering him on. Just then I heard a few girls talking over his song
"OMG I love when he does this song" the blonde fan squealed
"I know right ?! He always chooses a girl from the audience and serenades to her. It's sooo romantic of him" the brunette said to the blonde. "Too bad he's taken, he's sooo cute"
I cocked an eyebrow. He does that huh ? Wonder which bimbo he'll choose this time. I felt a nudge at my rib cage and looked to see Trina smile at me. "Isn't he amazing?! Boy I was so dumb to like totally shut down his talent"
I gave her a nod and looked back at Corey. He was still singing toward me.

He started to walk over to the VIP section and all I heard was girls screaming and holding their hands out for Corey. He didn't bother with them though, standing at the edge of the stage he winked at me and motion me to get up on stage with him.
He extended his hand out me and smiled. I took his hand and followed him upstage, strumming his guitar he looked me which those adorable blue eyes singing. He motioned toward the mic for me to sing with him .

Emerald orbs we're staring at me and I can see the light blush she still has on her cheeks. I'm so glad this is happening. I look toward the backstage to see Christy tapping her foot her face telling me not to do anything risky.
I took a sigh and looked back at Laney. I put one hand on my mic and the other around her waist starting up my little rap I made.
"Whooo go Corey ! " I can hear Kon screaming at the top of his lungs.

Once the song ended the crowd was cheering. I let go of Laney but intertwined my fingers with hers. " Thank you everyone, and please give it up for my long-term friend, Ms. Laney Penn!" I looked over at her and she had a small smile on her face. "You were amazing Lanes",
"What are friends for Core" her smile disappeared for a second as she let go of my hand walking back off stage. What?! How could she just walk off like that?
Laney's POV
Friend...
Why does that word still sting in my heart? I walked away from Corey and headed back to our friends. "So did sparks fly during that song?" Nikki nudged me with a smirk but I shrugged it off. "He does that to all the girls in his concert, I'm not any different" I chuckled at her. I can see the visible frown on my friends face. "Laney you're not just any girl to him and you know that"
Did I know that?
Corey POV
Well that plan was a bust hopefully my next one works...
