Akihiko's POV
I woke up early and went out for a jog, thoughts spread my mind while jogging. Questions kept on asking in my mind that made me frown. I stopped by the Naganaki Shrine and sat on the bench.
I looked at the playground and memories kept playing in my mind, I smiled when I remembered myself chasing Hamuko. But I suddenly remembered that she forgot… My frown deepened, I bit my tongue because I felt that tears were urging to fall.
My phone ringing because someone texted me, I looked at my phone and 2 messages received. I red the first:
From: Mitsuru Kirijo
Subject: Good Morning
Good Morning Akihiko… Minato and Yukari are heading to the school now with me. I know you're still jogging so you'll have to lead Hamuko to the school. She's still sleeping in her room when we left. Take care of her or I'll execute you.
I felt a chill down my spine before reading the other
"First my sister… Now you. Hamuko, Why?" I whispered before jogging back to the dorm. The scent of Pancakes hit me, making me walk straight to the kitchen. I smiled as I saw the girl with auburn hair in there. I watched her as she flip the pancakes and smiled.
She still haven't notice my presence, she just kept flipping pancakes until she made a stack of it. She got a plate and put a pancake there then turned around. Her eyes widened as she saw me and accidentally dropped the plate, my eyes widened "I-i'm sorry Hamuko.." I sighed and rubbed the back of my neck, then I knelt down and started picking up the broken pieces.
She just watched me and after awhile she knelt down and helped "You don't have to you know... It's fine" she said and smiled to me, I felt my heart flutter, I just smiled back and kept picking the shards. "Oh fudge.." she whispered, I looked at her "What happened?" she took her finger and kept pressing it "N-nothing.. hehe.." I frowned, not convinced with her answer.
I took hold of her hand that was pressing her finger, and saw a glimpse of red. I sighed and took her bleeding finger and pressed it "Clumsy girl.." she stuck her tongue out 'So cute...' I thought to myself. "Hey.. Let's wash this.." she nodded and stood.
I placed her finger to running water and she just looked at me, I felt a faint blush come to my face. Then I led her to the dining area and sat her down on one chair "I'll just get something" I exclaimed before running to the kitchen and got a first aid kit.
She just kept watching me as I tend her wound, my face felt a bit hot, I smiled as I finish then I look at her "Be careful next time alright?" she nodded then smiled to me "Thanks a lot, senpai" I frowned and looked down, putting back the first aid kit.
"Hey.. I-i'll bring you to school." I looked at her and exclaimed, she nodded then smiled "Oh... Thanks senpai.. But,why stutter?" she giggled and looked at me with her bloody red eyes. My heart was beating fast like I was running for my life..
I chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of my neck "I dunno.. I'm weird like that... Well, go eat now and I'll just take a shower. then we'll leave.." I was about to go to the second floor but I looked at her for the last time and smiled.
"She's still so clumsy... and still so..." I chuckled and went to my room to get my uniform, a picture of me, her, Shinji and Miki caught my eye. Shinji had his arm around Miki, while Hamuko clung to my arm, smiling. I smiled "..Cute.." I sighed then went to the bathroom.
Hamuko's POV
I sighed and looked at my finger, "I'm so stupid.." then got 3 pancakes and started eating it. I didn't know what I would do or what's with me today. But, when Akihiko's around... I feel like, I'm alright and safe...
I didn't know why or anything. I kept eating then Akihiko walked down from the stairs then sat on the chair in front of me and smiled "I'm back...and your still not done" he chuckled while I just payed attention with my food. But then,I looked at him "You're not eating?" he shook his head making me frown.
I went to the kitchen and took 3 pancakes, putting it on a plate then I placed the plate in front of him and sighed "Baka... Eat.. It isn't healthy if you don't" he smirked like an idiot, not like he was an idiot to me or anything. I just stared at him for a moment and cut the pancake into small pieces.
He watched me and started wondering what I'm doing, as I was done I stabbed the pancake with my fork then tried pushing it in his mouth, he looked away and frowned. I frowned then sighed "Fine.. be stubborn.." I looked down and felt disappointed for some reasons.
When I was done, I washed my plates in the sink then took my bag and went outside, slamming the door. He just followed me and frowned. 'UGH! It's just my first day and I think I already have an enemy..' I thought and face-palmed myself in my thoughts.
My pace started to pick up and I started running to the station, "Hamuko! Wait!" he shouted from behind and sighed while I just kept running.
After running for awhile, a strong hand gripped on my wrist and held it tight. I blushed and looked at Akihiko who was breathing heavily "For a little girl your fast.." then he patted my head and smiled. He just kept holding my hand even in the station.
I can feel some girls glaring at me, I sighed and looked down. "S-senpai.." he looked at me "Hmm?" then I looked at our hands and sighed "C-can you not hold my hand..? Some girls.. umm.." I was still trying to find some words to use then I felt the strong hand take it off.
I frowned and looked down "Sorry.." he shook his head and sighed. There was a weird awkward silence after that event.
SORRY TO DISAPPOINT YOU GUYS... i'm not quite happy with this part cause I just don't know what to write X(
I'm really sorry... I'll try to improve my writing skills and continue this... i hope you guys would like this -.-"
