Blair and Dorota sat eating lunch in the apartment. Blair with frustration lowered her brow as she plotted how to deal with this situation, one that needed to be changed.
"Listen Dorota, it all has to be an act. There is no way my- there is no way Chuck would stoop so low and practically stab me in the back," Blair said between bites.
"Miss Blair, are you sure this is pretend? Could it be that Mr. Chuck is actually happy with this girl? Also, why are you so concerned with him? You have nothing to do with each other anymore," Dorota responded.
"It's just not that simple! What Chuck does reflects on me, and I would never want that witch of a person Jenny to have any relation to me!"
"Is that it? Nothing to do with your feelings for Mr. Chuck?"
"What? No! I'm with Dan now! And I'm happy," Blair shouted. She waited a second and mumbled, "Well, at least I think." Dorota didn't hear, as Blair's phone began to ring.
"Dan! Hello," Blair said through the phone.
"So, I heard you saw Chuck today. May I ask why?" Dan questioned.
"We were just catching up. Nothing to worry about."
"I, uhh, wasn't worried, but now that you bring it up… Should I be?"
"Of course not. If I wanted to Chuck I would be with Chuck, but I'm not. I'm with you, and I'm with you for a reason." Blair said affectionately, still shaking on the words that came out of her mouth. She still couldn't decide if her words were true.
"I'm guessing you heard about-" Dan began.
"Ugh! Jenny and him. I wish I hadn't."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Well, Jenny and I haven't been on the best of terms, you know that. After everything I just don't want her in my life."
"Blair, we're together now, and she is my sister. She'll be in your life no matter what."
"I.. I don't think I like the sound of that." Blair said, beginning to become frustrated. She knew as long as Dan was in her life, she would have to accept the idea of Jenny. Was it worth it? Was Dan worth it all?
"You know what, I have to go now. I have plans with Jenny. I'll talk to you later. I love you," Dan said waiting for Blair's response.
She waited for what seemed minutes to Dan and then just replied with "Yeah, talk to you soon. Bye."
