"So we took a stand for our freedom." Erza continued, facing away from the group. "We hoped to save our dear friend, Jellal."

Jay replayed the fight to save Jellal in his mind. He remembered how they were on the verge of losing, only for Erza to unleash her magic power. Losing Grandpa Rob, and finding Jellal. He remembered what Jellal did that caused Jay to hate him and why he couldn't wait to beat him to a pulp.

"Can't you see? There's no freedom in this world." Jellal said, as red smoke steamed off of him. "Those fools who built this tower may not hold you prisoner anymore, but you haven't experience true freedom. Because that can only be found in Zeref's world."

Jellal walked towards one of the cult men in the room, ripping his shirt off as his eye glowed. "Now I understand why they made us work so hard on this tower. They believe they can use it to resurrect Zeref. You claim to be such devout followers, but you couldn't even sense your God's presence here, could you?"

Jay and Erza watched as Jellal grabbed the guy by his throat and pinned him. "This tower belongs to me now. I will finish its construction and bring Zeref back to life."

Jellal then used some kind of magic, throwing the man into the roof. As the other cult member tired to run, Jellal threw him against the wall, stopping his escape. Erza tried to stop Jellal. Jellal shook Erza off before making the cult member disappear into dust. Jay's eyes widened as Jellal laughed.

"You killed him! What's gotten into you?"

"I haven't changed one bit." Jellal said as Jay and Erza followed him. "I'm renaming this place the Tower of Heaven. Erza, you and I will stay here and finish it together."

"What?"

"Once it's completed, we'll resurrect Zeref."

"Why would anyone want to stay here when we finally have a chance to leave?!" Erza was thrusted out of the hallway they were in and down to the ground.

"Jellal!" Jay yelled as he jumped at Jellal, his fist glowing with his magic.

"Die!" Jellal laughed, raising his hand to Jay.

Jay jumped toward Jellal, aiming to punch him. Before Jay could touch him, Jellal used his new found magic to force Jay down through the floor. Jay landed hard, which hurt him greatly. He looked up, seeing that he could never reach the top in time to help Erza. He didn't have the strength to either. All he could hear were the threats Jellal made to Erza, and the others. That's when Jay made a promise to himself. That when he got out of here, and found his sister, that he'd kill Jellal with his own hands.

"Jay? Jay!" Jay snapped out of the memory, looking up to see Lora snapping her fingers in front of him.

"What?" Jay asked, taking a look around. "Where are the others?"

"They just left. Your friend Simon came, Shô too. They're on our side now." Lora informed as Jay walked to the door, seeing the others down the hall.

"Why didn't you go with them?" Jay asked turning to black haired girl.

"Well, I... It's just..." Lora stumbled with her words, causing Jay to tilt his head in confusion. "No offense to the others, but I feel safer with you."

"Okay," Jay smiled as he ran down the hall towards the others. "Let's go."

"Right." Lora smiled, following Jay, as they caught up.

The two eventually caught up with the others, meeting them on some stairs. The group ran up the stairs, following Simon as they did so. Jay didn't feel that he could be trusted, but thinking back, Simon was nice to him and Erza when they were kids. It was Shô he didn't exactly trust. Jay knew that he would crack under pressure, the tower really messed with his brain. Jay and Lora caught up, running past Shô and Erza almost as soon they arrived.

"Something's interfering with my communication with Wally and Millianna." Simon said, two fingers on his forehead. "I can't even tell were they are."

"What do you mean?" Lucy asked as they ran.

"He's talking about telepathic communication." Juvia answered.

The group continued up the stairs. Lora looked at Simon as they ran up the stairs, she's been in this situation before when she was with Shadow Lust. A person came to them and lead them to a special treasure, only to betray them and try to kill them. She was happy that Simon and Shô chose the right side, but still had trouble trusting them. She looked over to Jay, who had a serious look on his face. Even though she hadn't been here long, she knew that Jay was acting like a different person.

"He really wants Jellal dead." Lora thought to herself as she watched Jay.

"I won't make excuses for my actions." Simon suddenly said, bring Lora's attention away from Jay. "Any wizard who isn't capable surviving that, would never had a chance against Jellal."

"I'm taking down Jellal, no matter what." Jay thought to himself.

"I never doubted that Natsu could handle the attack. I was confident that he would survive." Simon said.

"Oh yeah? What about me?" Lucy said, only to be ignored.

"None of you can comprehend the full extent of Natsu's ability. Once he awakens the true dragon's power within, evil will fall in his wake." Simon said, which slightly offended Jay. He was a dragon slayer too.

Jay didn't know why, but he felt like he had to prove that he could take on Jellal, not to Simon, but to Erza. She felt the need to sacrifice herself to fight Jellal. The need to fight him alone, without him. This was personal for the both of them. As the group were running to find Jellal, his voice echoed throughout the tower, causing everyone to stop.

"I welcome you, to the Tower of Heaven." Jellal's voice echoed. "My name is Jellal, and I am the ruler of this tower. I see the plays have been arranged."

"Say what?"

"So he knows we're here. He could be lurking anywhere in the tower, waiting for us." Simon said.

Lora looked to the Scarlet twins, seeing the both of them with serious faces on. They both looked ready to kill. "I delighted you've come all this way to see me. Shall we play around of Heaven's game. The rules are quite simple. I wish to use Erza as a sacrifice in my ceremony to resurrect Lord Zeref."

"Erza was right, she was facing death in the face." Lora thought.

"If I succeed, the gates of Heaven will open, crowning my victory. However, if you could manage to find a way to stop me, you'll be the winners of the game. To make things a little more interesting, I've enlisted four knights to battle on my behalf."

"Four knights? Who could they be?" Simon thought aloud.

"The only way you'll be able to get to me is if you could defeat them." Jellal voiced said throughout the halls. "In other words, a four on ten battle royal. And there's one more surprise, the Magic Council has the satellite square focused directly on this tower, and it's highly likely that they will attack."

"At this very moment, they are in the middle of voting on whether they should fire an Etherion blast." Jellal said, Jay being able to hear the smile on his face. "There's no telling how much time is left. Should the Etherion strike, complete annihilation is eminent. No players left to win. Game over."

"What kind of messed up game is this?!" Lucy asked in shock at Jellal's speech.

"But that doesn't make any sense to me." Erza said, confused at Jellal's speech. "Why would the Council resort to such drastic measures?"

Jay turned as Erza gasped. He looked back to see Shô, holding up a card, which Erza stuck inside. Everyone followed his gaze, confused on what Shô was doing.

"Erza!"

"Shô, what the hell do you think you're?!"

"I won't let him lay a hand on her." Shô said, holding the card close to his person.

"Shô, let me out of here!" Erza demanded as she pounded on the card.

"I'll beat Jellal all by myself if I have to!" Shô then ran off, taking Erza along with him.

"No! You can't do it alone!" Simon then ran after Shô, planning to save Erza.

"Dammit, Shô!" Jay yelled as he ran after the two.

"Jay, what are you doing?!" Gray asked as Jay got further and further.

"Saving my sister!"

"Jay! Wait!" Lora called out as she ran to follow Jay.

"Lora! Lora!" Lora couldn't hear Lucy calling her name. She just felt the need to help Jay.

Jay ran throughout the tower, and somehow he got lost. He lost Simon and Shô, which surprised him. He's been in this tower for most of his childhood. How could he get lost in this place. He looked around, hearing footsteps from behind him. He looked behind him, seeing someone running toward him. Jay's fist lit up, ready to fight. He then let his guard down as he saw who was running up to him.

"Lora! What are you doing here?!" Jay asked as Lora came to a stop to catch her breath. "Why aren't you with Gray and Juvia?!"

"I-I don't..." Jay groaned, waving the girl off.

"It's fine, calm down." Jay said as he looked around, trying to find a new way to go. "Are you willing to use your magic?"

"What?! I mean, if I need to. Why?" Lora asked, taken off guard at the sudden question.

"Because someone's here." Jay said as he faced in front of them.

"Oh, you could sense me? What a shame." A voice said from the shadows.

"Yeah, I can smell your cologne from outside." Jay said as a blonde haired man walked into the light.

The man had short blond hair, which is mostly messed, depends a bit in his face. His hair is parted on his left side. He is very tall and muscular, which was somehow every noticeable. His eyes were a bright ice-blue. He wore the grey and dark-blue ice Star uniform with the number 5. He also wore a light woolen shirt, a blue hoodie and a black bodywarmer. Like Jay mentioned before, he also wore a extreme amount of cologne.

"Who the hell are you?" Jay asked, fist glowing.

"Me? I'm an assassin mag from the Assassins' Guild Death's Head Caucus." The man said, a wicked grin on his face. "My name is Hikari, the Handsome Assassin. Now, enjoy your last moments."

"Yeah? Guess you haven't heard of me." Jay said as he swiftly ran and punched Hikari straight in the face. "I'm the Diamond Dragon of Fairy Tail, Jay Scarlet."

I changed Jay's hair color from white with a scarlet streak, to scarlet with a white streak. I felt that it made more sense for him to have the same hair color as his sister.

Lora is really good at sewing and making clothes. When she was in Shadow Lust, people would ask her to fix their clothes. She eventually got pretty good at it.
