A/N: I apologize for the inconvenience, but after I looked through the chapters, it was decidedly too short and unpleasant to read. Here are some new changes I made along with this new update, as well as some things I'm planning to change to make this fanfiction more enjoyable to read:

1) The first 3 chapters were edited and reposted

2) Each chapter will be longer—my aim is to have each chapter up to at least 1,000 words

3) More character development

4) Updates every 1-2 weeks? Possibly..

Haruka had no idea what was coming for him. Not like he cared that much anyway. But he could not get his boss' words out of his mind.

"It won't be easy"

Haruka glanced back at his boss and noticed that he had a smirk on his face before he closed the door.

Lost in his thoughts, Haruka did not notice the pole in front of him and proceeded to walk straight into it.

"..Ow"

Haruka had received a text message last evening titled "Meet Here", with an address and meeting time attached to it.

He glanced around. Wait, where was he, anyway? Looking at the map again, Haruka finally realized that he had his map turned upside-down. Haruka scrunched his eyebrows for a moment in annoyance.

Haruka Nanase is one of those people whom you would label as geographically challenged. Having expected this, he made sure to leave his dorm two hours before the meeting time to avoid being late for his first lesson.

Pouting, he turned back around and saw a girl standing in front of a convenience store, staring intently on what seemed to be a mass poster of a muscular man.

Having no other choice left if he still wanted to make it on time, Haruka decided to ask for direction from the girl.

As he walked toward the person, he noticed that the stranger had an eerily familiar shade of scarlet hair. Her hair reminded him of Rin Matsuoka.

"…Excuse me."

The girl turns around. "Oh, hello!" She turned her head to Haruka in surprise, having been suddenly interrupted from her daze.

Haruka proceeded to ask her with a blank face, "Do you happen to know where this place is?" He showed her the place circled on the map.

The girl glanced at the map for a moment. Her face seemed to light up with a sense of sentience.

"Oh, of course! I'm quite familiar with that area, actually."

"Thanks" The brunette said as he followed the girl.

"Soo, what's your name, anyway?" The redhead asked as she walked side by side with Haruka.

"Haruka Nanase"

"Nice to meet you, Nanase-san. My name is Gou Matsuoka, but you can call me Kou instead." Gou said as she smiled at the brunette.

Haruka paused to think for a moment.

'Matsuoka'..as in 'Rin Matsuoka'.

"Are you related to Rin Matsuoka, by any chance?" The question slipped out before he could even process it.

Gou smiled fondly at him and said, "Yes, he's my brother."

Haruka nodded and continued to walk on in silence.

Along the way, Gou mercilessly threw questions in his direction, and he reluctantly answered them all in short replies, not used to talking for long periods of time.

"Well, here we are. I never expected that you would be meeting with my brother, Nanase-san."

"Yeah, thanks." Haruka nodded at Gou with a tiny hint of a smile on his face.

Haruka observed the exterior of the place as Gou went ahead and pressed the doorbell.

The brunette was not surprised to see that his boss lived in such an extravagant house. The three story house was painted white on the outside with a few spotless windows placed symmetrically. In the front, there was a well-groomed lawn, and a giant white garage door facing the driveway. Parked in front of it was Lamborghini Reventon. The house did not seem to stand out from the other houses in the neighborhood, which makes it all the more culture shocking.

After a few moments, a voice sounded through the door answering device.

"Who is it?"

"Good Morning, Rin—this is Kou. I brought your friend over for you. He seemed to have gotten a little lost on his way here."

"Okay, I'm coming."

After a few moments, the door clicked open. Rin was wearing a black tank top with track pants and a towel around his neck.

He had just finished his daily morning workout, hence the attire.

Rin glanced from his sister to Haruka.

"Well..come in."

"Oh, no, it's okay. I have to meet with my friends soon—there is going to be an exhibition for the Step! magazine today, so I have to be there. You guys have fun!"

Gou walked off as she waved at Rin and Haruka.

"Oh! And Nanase-san, feel free to contact me through my brother if you need anything!"

Haruka nodded and stared as Rin's little sister walked off.

"Well, what are you doing? Come on in."

Haruka did as he was told. He walked inside the house, took off his shoes, and followed Rin into the house. The marble floor felt cool and nice under the brunette's feet, and his feet lingered a few moments longer than usual as he walked on.

"How did you even meet Kou on your way here anyway?" The redhead suddenly asked.

"She helped me when I got lost in front of a convenience store."

"Oh"

After that, Rin led Haruka up a winding set of stairs and turned the corner until they reached a studio with large mirrors set up all around.

Haruka stared at the room in confusion. He had originally thought that he would be meeting his teacher here, but that obviously does not seem to be the case.

"W..what?" The brunette looked at his boss with puzzlement written all over his face.

Rin chuckled and looked at Haruka in amusement. "I'm going to be training you until I can deem that you are prepared to face the media as a full-fledged model. I told you, didn't I? This won't be easy."

Rin came off astonished after the first lesson with Haruka. Both in a good and a bad way. The brunette was able to copy his poses exactly how it should be, almost to perfection. But if there was one thing that could be chastised on, it would be his facial expressions, or rather the lack thereof.

His first thought? Haruka Nanase was an impassive mannequin.

While his body could show off the adornments perfectly, his face was as lifeless as a corpse. There wasn't a hint of a shine or enthusiasm in his eyes as he copied Rin's poses. Once he stood in front of the mirror, Haruka's facial expressions seemed to become completely blank. As of now, he is no more than a lifeless doll, which was obviously not what Rin was looking for.

Rin let out another sigh and looked at the neglected pile of work on his desk. Teaching Haruka Nanase how to be a model was one thing, but teaching the boy how to show emotions? Now that's another story. Never in his life had he met a person as impassive Haruka Nanase, but he is not going to give up. Rin could sense the never-ending potential in the boy. Ever since he first set sight on the brunette, he knew that he had to be the one to adorn his life's work on the stage of Paris. No matter the circumstances, and no matter the hardships, Rin Matsuoka was going to climb to the top of the fashion industry with his greatest masterpiece, namely Haruka Nanase, and fulfill his father's wishes.

A/N: Hurrah! I am slowly taking baby steps to make each chapter as long as possible. Also, I finally have someone to proofread my work!
