One for Dark Galacta. And yes the backstory was confusing but that is because IT IS NOT DONE *dun dun dun*
syani123
well then you will be happy to know that I am not leaving this story. Yes Galacta may come off a bit bipolar but I swear she is sane (mostly) and thank you.
Arturito
Two for Dark Galacta (and two undecided) and thank you, yes my cover art does not have horns on Galacta as I believe they are part of her mask so I didn't draw them because her mask isn't there *dun dun dun*.
LadyWink (again)
Guess what…I updated, yay!
XianiaKnight owns nothing but the plot the rest belongs to Nintendo and Hal.

Alarms blared as NOVA continued to assault the hull of the other Knights ship. Screeches for torn metal collided with the blaring klaxons to form an unholy symphony of destruction and death. Small orange and tan creatures raced about the ship flailing their arms in the air as they ran about. The other Knight, I believed his name was Meta, was a good hundred feet in fount of me as he raced toward what I presumed to be the bridge.
Other knights fell in step with him relaying information on the state of the ship and the casualties thus far. Meta ordered them to man stations and to return fire on NOVA. He managed to produce an air of calm around him as much of the general panic stopped while his underlings had him in their line of sight.
Not like it really mattered though, they were going to lose this fight no matter what they did to try and stop NOVA. My darker half was screaming at me to flee while I still had the chance but another part of me felt obliged to stay and try and help these people.
I pondered why I would have any reason to stay here at all; NOVA would likely leave as soon as I had left the ship so I was more use away from these people than here with them. However a nagging feeling had settled in my gut; NOVA would do anything to stop me but if she thought that these people were going to keep her from her duty then what was going to stop her from destroying them regardless if I was still on the ship or not.
My hand tightened on my lance, power thrummed from the hilt into my arm. The magic seemed to whisper to me "fight, you are strong, fight."
I searched the general area for Meta; he was caught up in helping to maneuver his ship into a safer location to return fire. From the observation window I saw huge gaping holes in the hull that were far too close to the bridge for my liking. Turning on my heel I left the bridge to search for an airlock; I would take the fight to NOVA before I would allow her to harm the ship and its crew any longer.

The whole of the ship was panicking. Alarms blazed as the crew raced back and forth attempting to plug holes, fire back, and pilot the ship all at once. I pushed the rising unease back as I tried to keep the crew calm; no need to run around like headless chickens in the middle of a firefight.
As the engines groaned in protest I took a moment to search the bridge for the pink warrior; she may possess information on what we could do to ward off or defeat NOVA. However, I couldn't seem to find the knight anywhere on the bridge. I pondered the possibility that she had fled when NOVA attacked, leaving us to fight her battle for her but some part of me brushed off the idea. She had not struck me as the warrior who would leave others to fight in her stead.
A shout drew my attention back to the more pressing matters at hand; another fire ball had erupted from the cargo bay. Whatever I was prepared for it wasn't the wayward pink warrior to charge NOVA head on, flames erupting as she fought the entity that she had been fleeing from not one hour ago.
\\/
Streams of pink crystalizing energy shot from every pore of NOVA's being as I attempted to bring my lance foreword to strike at the metal monstrosities face. NOVA knew my attacks and seemed to predict my every move as I tried to win a battle I was almost sure to lose.
"Fool" my dark side screamed at me "why would you bother? You know you will lose. You should have fled while you still had the chance."
I dodged a flailing beam of energy "this battle is my own" stabbing forward I snapped back at the persistent voice in my head "I will not leave innocents to die for my transgressions."
A chilling laugh resonated though my mind "oh why even bother? You don't know a single one of those things names but yet you still defend them at the potential cost of your life? Why even bother? These heroic acts are what landed you in this mess to begin with; I think that it is high time you give it up."
Before I could formulate a response I was smashed in the face with a large golden gear. Dazed and pissed I shouted the first thing I could think of, "did you just hit me with one of your bloody GEARS!"
"S.U.B.M.I.T" NOVA droned as she faced me with her lopsided stare.
"NEVER" I shrieked back "my life is my own, you hold no power over me neither does anyone else."
"S.U.B.M.I.T" NOVA continued.
Snarling I prepared to charge. However I was interrupted by a massive laser beam that sailed inches from my face and smashed directly into NOVA's left eye. Sparking and whirling NOVA shot me one last look of hate before teleporting away to heal.
I turned my attention back to the ship behind me. Gaping holes littered the hull and I was sure that there was extensive internal damage done to the ship as well. My eyes flitted up toward the bridge, they may have won the battle but they were sure to lose the war. After shooting NOVA directly and helping me escape the first time there was no way that they would be spared from utter destruction now.
As my mind pondered what I would do to try and save the people aboard the ship, I couldn't stop the flutter in my heart as I realized that on some level these people cared for me.
\\/
My crew was skipping, laughing, and dancing as the hulking form of NOVA teleported away. My eyes remained upon Galacta Knight as she continued to float off the starboard side. Her eyes locked on the view screen as I wondered what repercussions would come from my actions.
Was this warrior worth saving?
\\/
Now if you excuse me I need to go do crap in the real world *leaves*.
***Note***
The name for Galacta Knight's evil side has come down to Dark Galacta or Anima. If you could review and tell me which one you prefer I would really appreciate it. That is all.
