Without any more wait the fourth and final chapter of German Shepherds! (Which needs a new name still...)
Punctual as always Germany was in his car along with his dogs at the scheduled time. That morning he had cleaned everything up, and if it was capable of sparkling it was. After carefully locking up the small house appeared as it had before he had visited. After turning on his radio to some currently popular music the German started the drive home. Germany liked driving because there were scripted rules for every incident that might happen. Everyone had to follow those clear cut regulations and somehow being a part of that made him feel a lot better. Thinking back to his train of thought from last night he took that to be proof of his somewhat warped personality. He liked all aspects of life to be like military life; strict.
Sighing he lowered his head as he pushed his foot down on the brake pedal. Sensing the mood like the intelligent animals they were, his dogs slipped into the backseat.
What would he do when he got home? Apologize and take whatever punishment Prussia threw at him. No matter what the albino dished out he would no doubt deserve it for acting so childishly.

He would prove to West that he could change. He picked up the house, Gilbird perching on his head the entire time. A disturbing thought came to him. He knew it wasn't true but… If Germany didn't like Gilbird who would he choose? The fluffy little chic or his younger brother? Inside he knew that it would never come to that, but doubt was twisting his train of thought.
Still unsure if what he was doing was really the right thing he went outside to wait for Germany to come back, because without doubt he was coming back. Second thoughts assaulted him as he stood, in clean, semi-formal (for him) clothes. Prussia was determined. If he could fight his way through countless wars he could stand in one place outside and wait for West.
To his relief about an hour later a very familiar car pulled around the corner and into the driveway. A few minutes later three dogs emerged from behind the car and loped into the backyard. Full of relief that the confrontation wasn't far away the Prussian refocused his mind on the opening car door. Germany walked over to him, and he had many ideas about what the German might say, but what actually came out of his mouth was from his wildest dreams.
"I'm sorry."

He hoped with all his heart that Prussia would accept his apology and they could put this all behind them. Family is such an important thing, and in truth he wasn't sure how he had managed to blind himself for so long. When he was young he depended on his older brother a lot, but they swiftly grew apart for no apparent reason besides their personality differences. Germany knew that Prussia had also had a sort of "father figure" called Germania. 'Our names are really similar; I never really paid much attention before but… Prussia must be more nostalgic than he looks.' How could he not be? Country personifications had such long life spans that so many things were left behind, never to come back or even be remembered by any other living thing.
He was jerked out of his thoughts when he felt slender arms wrapping around him in a tight hug.
"There's nothing for you to be sorry for West."

I knew as soon as I uttered those words that I had done the right thing. By winning Germany's forgiveness I could start over as a new brother, hopefully a better one. I felt that my bad actions were the reasons for the escapade to wherever he had gone. Looking back I had done that to him multiple times. It made me feel guilty immediately and I tightened my grip unconsciously.

Germany's current thoughts: Hug + Prussia = ?
What was going on? He said that the blame wasn't mine and he hugged me? So he thinks that he's at fault for my leaving, while I think it's my fault. We're both second guessing ourselves in the other's favor. Gently he hugged back for a few seconds before detangling himself from Prussia's hug.
"Let's just say both of us were wrong and have this be an educational experience. We both have things we need to fix, and we both have our good points."
-xXVXx-
He sounds so mature now, I remember when he was a tiny chibi following me around and watching my battles. Giving him my signature awesome smile I agreed to his statement.
"Yeah, cause I'm awesome and you're pretty awesome too! Let's go to the new bar that opened up down next to the old abandoned place." Ecstatic when he nodded affirmatively I reached up to ruffle his hair and transfer Gilbird to his hair before laughing and dragging him down the street. We had all the time we wanted to talk things out, though it probably wouldn't seem like this was such a good idea when we were both hung over tomorrow. Both us have extremely high alcohol tolerance so we might put the bar out of business for a while, but that wasn't any concern of mine. And since we're nations the government would pay if we asked.
This would probably happen more times, but after each one they would make up by going out drinking like this. That was just how they were. Laughing along with Germany he wondered what had happened to Gilbird…
Lame ending, but I got nothing else. Hope this satisfied all y'all. Please review for meh!
