Amber's chocolate brown eyes snapped open at a sudden noise. She glanced up from her bed, only to see Kitsune hopping around the room, yelling in his slightly high-pitched voice. She grumbled moodily to herself as she tried to calm down her racing heart. Seriously, this was not the best way to wake up. She never really was a morning person… She laid her head back down when she realized Kitsune wasn't paying attention to her.
"Rio! Amber! Get your lazy butts off the beds! I wanna go to Treasure Town!" Kitsune was jumping around Rio's bed. Rio groaned in slight annoyance.
"Ugh... give us five more minutes…" He sat up and rubbed his sore eyes before collapsing once more onto his straw bed. Amber sluggishly raised her head at the scene.
"No! We're gonna go to Treasure Town now!" Kitsune protested. He started to shake Rio violently. Rio dug his head into the straws of his bed, trying to block out the baby Khangaskhan's voice. Amber giggled at the hilarious sight.
Kitsune shook Rio once more. He wasn't getting up… Kitsune frowned slightly, before turning back to Amber. He gave her a pout, and Amber shrugged at him. "He's still tired you know. Give him just a little more time to rest…" she mumbled.
Kitsune gave her a blank stare, before whipping back to the tired Riolu in front of him. After staring at the Pokemon, he turned back to the fox Pokemon. "Nah." Kitsune resumed his whines. Amber couldn't imagine how annoying he must've been to the irritated Riolu. Was this how it was like when you have a younger sibling? If she ever became a human once more and found her parents, she hoped they didn't have siblings.
"Ok Kitsune. Give me one good reason why I should listen to you." Rio mumbled into the bed. He looked up to send a glare to Kitsune.
That proved to be a huge mistake.
Kitsune was looking up at him with wide desperate eyes. His lips quivered and he whimpered," Please?" Amber felt herself melt at the sight.
…Okay… maybe having an adorable sibling wouldn't be too bad, now would it?
Rio's crimson eye was twitching. He brought his paw to his forehead, and rubbed it, calming himself down. He looked back up at the begging Khangaskhan and held his gaze, before looking down and sighing.
"….Fine…. Just give me and Amber some time to get ready." From hearing his words, Kitsune squealed in excitement and skipped out of the room, while saying," Ok~"
There was a momentary silence between the Vulpix and Riolu.
"Soooooo… um… I can see Kitsune has an insanely adorable puppy face," Amber awkwardly said. She got off her straw bed and shook her red fur, getting rid of the straws that still stuck to her fur.
"Yea… works on me every time…" Rio got up from his bed and stretched, trying to get rid of his weary bones. "Honestly, I kind of regret teaching that to him when we were younger."
Amber whipped around to stare at him, eyes wide. "What? You were the one who taught him that?"
"Yea, I was begging Miss Khangaskhan to give me and Kitsune some cookies. She wouldn't budge until I gave her a puppy dog face." Rio shrugged. "Kitsune begged me to teach him it. And once I did he's been using it on me ever since."
"Goodness…" Amber mumbled. "He's using your secret weapon against you." I wonder if I can get Rio to teach me that… I could use it on Miss Khangaskhan… or even Rio himself. She grinned evily to herself. Rio you better watch out.
Rio made his way out of the room, before stopping and facing her. "Come on. Kitsune should be outside waiting for us. I'll tell Miss Khangaskhan where we're going. Just watch out for Kitsune. He's gonna bombard you with questions."
"Really? He didn't really say much during dinner last night," Amber gave him a quizzical look, her tails swishing side to side.
"That's because Miss Khangaskhan was there. He's real polite in front of his mom, but can be really…. curious... at times…"
Her tails were still swishing around and she was giving him a expressionless stare.
"Trust me. And good luck. You'll need it."

Amber seriously needed to listen to advice more.
The moment she went outside the small house to wait for Rio to talk with Khangaskhan, Kitsune fired off thousands of questions to her. She could even barely understand what he was saying. Why didn't she listen to Rio in the first place?
"So where are you from? How did Rio find you? He said you were stranded on the beach. Why were you there? Were you just there to be there or something? Or was it something else? How was your adventure in Beach Cave? What was it like? Was it fun? Or was it all dangerous? Were the Pokemon mean and hard to beat? Were Zubat and Koffing hard to beat as well? Or were they easy? Are you gonna join Wigglytuff's Guild? Do you even know what Wigglytuff's Guild is?"
This guy is quite the talker… I'm starting to feel dizzy…
Rio exited the door and cheerily said, "We're ready to go! And- Kitsune? Why does Amber seem like she's seeing two heads?" He stopped in his tracks and pointed a paw at the fire Pokemon, who was staring at the ground with a slightly horrified expression.
"No reason. I was just asking her a question or two." Kitsune shrugged at Rio, whose ears were twitching. Is he kidding me? Just a few questions?
Soon enough, Rio gave Kitsune a dull look. Kitsune smiled back at him innocently.
"Let's just go…" Rio grabbed Kitsune and Amber and led them to the direction of the village. "Miss Khangaskhan's already headed to the town at Khangakskhan storage. She gave me some Poke to buy a few Oran Berries and Apples at the Kecleon Shop."
Amber raised an eyebrow at Rio. Storage? Shop? And what's Poke? "What do you mean Miss Khangaskhan's already at the Khangaskhan storage?"
Rio faced her, giving her a quizzical expression. "Didn't I tell you?" Amber shook her head.
"Miss Khangaskhan owns her own shop. She owns a storage shop where she stores extra items from Exploration Teams," Rio explained. "She has to stay at her shop at all times, so Kitsune and I normally run errands for her. We usually just buy the items and then play at the beach."
"And Pok-" Rio interrupted her.
"Money."
"Oh… Thanks~" Amber gave a quick smile at him while he smiled back. There gazes lingered for a while until they heard Kitsune's voice from afar. "Come on guys! Instead of making gaga eyes at each other,we're almost at Treasure Town!" She gave him a questioning look. Gaga eyes? Rio rolled his crimson eyes in response.

When they arrived at Treasure Town, Amber was still in awe. Just as Rio had said earlier, in the morning, there were a lot more Pokemon. She still wasn't exactly used to seeing so many Pokemon at once. Maybe it was from the time she was a human?
"Hi Mr. and Mr. Kecleon!" Kitsune waved enthusiastically at a green and purple reptile-like Pokemon. The green and purple Pokemon were behind some sort of stand. There were some customers around the shop, but they were leaving, so Kitsune just skipped over to them. Rio and Amber followed in a slower pace. There was a relaxed smile on Rio's face, while Amber was a little confused.
"Kistune! Rio! Welcome to the Kecleon Shop! Would you like the buy anything?" The brothers greeted the Riolu and baby Khangaskhan.
"Yes. Could we get two Oran Berries and four Apples" Rio asked. He handed out the Poke. "I have 120 Poke with me right here."
"Sure. I'll go get the food right away." The green Kecleon disappeared into the storage room behind the counter to grab the necessary items.
"I can see that you have a new friend. Never seen her around these parts before." The purple Kecleon nodded his head at Amber.
"This is Amber! Rio found her stranded at the beach," Kitsune answered. He nudged the Vulpix towards the Kecleon. She gave a small shy smile at him a waved a little with a paw. "Hi. Nice to meet you."
The green Kecleon finally came out with the Oran Berries and Apples. "Here you go Rio."
The Riolu took the items. "Thank y-"
"Mr. and Mr. Kecleon!" Two small blue mammalian Pokemon raced up to the Kecleon brothers, waving at them with bright contagious smiles on their faces. Their smiles were infectious, and Amber gave a fond smile at them as they ran passed her, though she didn't even know them. She immediately took a liking to them.
"Why if it isn't Marrill and Azurill! Hello, how are you doing?"
"Great! Can we have two Apples please?" Marrill asked, handing out 40 Poke. The green Kecleon gave the Marrill a grin. "Of course. Let me go get that." He turned around to look for the apple.
"Hey Marril! Azurill!" Kitsune exclaimed, running up to the two brothers. Rio and Amber stood behind, watching the baby Khangaskhan with the water Pokémon.
"Hi Kitsune! Rio~" Azurill greeted. He bounced up into the air, just to bring the ball of his tail below him to sit on it ((did that even make any sense?)). "It's been such a long time since we've last seen you guys!"
"I know! It's been, like, forever!" Kitsune replied. "Hey, do you wanna play with me, Rio, and Amber at the beach later?" He pointed at the beach down below him, with an enthusiastic look.
"Amber? Who's that?" Azurill socked his head to the side. He took a quick look Amber next to Rio. "You mean her?"
"You mean Amber? Rio met her a while ago at the beach. Apparently, she was stranded." Kitsune introduced. The brothers sent her a sympathized look. Trying to lighten up the atmosphere once more, Amber gave the two brothers a welcoming smile a waved with her right paw. "Hey guys~"
"He Miss Amber!" Azurill said. Amber bit back a smile. There really was no need to call her Ms. Amber. Next to her, Rio chuckled. Obviously he had been in her shoes before. Mr. Rio. Has a nice ring to it.
"Just call me Amber."
The green Kecleon appeared out of the storage room. "Here are your appleas. Enjoy them!"
"Thank you Mr. Kecleon!" Marrill took the apples and took a quick glance at Kitsune. "Sorry, but Azurrill and I can't come to the beach with you guys today. Though we'd love to spend time with you and Rio and get to know Amber, we can't…"
"What? Why not?" Sensing Kitsune's disappointment, Rio patted his shoulder in an attempt to comfort him. "You already finished your errands and took care of Miss Azumarrill right? Surely she wouldn't mind."
Marril sighed. "Yeah, but we recently just lost an important item to us. Have you heard of it? It's called a Mystic Water."
"Mystic Water?" Amber repeated, confused about what it was. "What's that?" Rio and Kitsune seemed to be clueless as well.
The green Kecleon spoke up. "You mean the Mystic Water? Why, isn't that supposed to be an item specifically for Azurill's, Marrill's, and Azumarill's?"
"Yea, it is. It's been passed down from our family for generations," Marrill muttered, shuffling around and playing with the dirt. He seemed to be ashamed that he lost it. "But we just lost it and we're trying to look for it. We don't want to worry Mother."
Rio patted Marrill's back, trying to reassure him. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll find it soon," he encouraged. Amber offered the water Pokemon a sympathetic smile.
"Thanks…"
"No problem."
There was a short and awkward pause.
"Anyways, Azurill and I gotta go and find the Mystic Water. Bye Mr. and Mr. Kecleon! Kitsune, Rio, Amber!" Marril led Azurill to the Treasure Town Square, waving goodbye to everyone. Soon, they disappeared from their sight.
Amber giggled to herself. "Marril and Azurill are adorable!"
Kitsune nodded," They're my best friends Amber. You'll have so much fun playing with them!"
"Currently, they're taking care of their mother, Azumarill. She's pretty sick right now, so they're running errands and taking care of her." Rio added.
Amber blinked. "Ok, I change my mind. They're adorable and responsible."
The purple Kecleon grinned. "Adorbable little tykes they are. Wish there were more Pokemon like them. If there were the world would be a mu-"
"Mr. Kecleon!" There was a blur of blue and as quick as a flash Azurill and Marril were right in front of the Kecleon brothers, an extra apple in Azurill's bag. Amber blinked and shook her head. Adorable little tykes there were, but they were extraordinarily fast. What I would give to be that fast.
"What's the matter?" the green Kecleon asked.
"The was an extra apple. We only had enough money for two apples." Marril tried to hand over the extra apple into the Kecleon's hands, but he gently pushed it towards the water Pokemon. He smiled, and said, " Consider it as a gift from me and my brother. Share it amongst yourself okay?"
"Really? Thank you Mr. and Mr. Kecleon!" Marril laughed as he put the extra apple into Azurill's bag. "C'mon Azurill, let's go and deliver these apples to Mom! Then we can look around for the Mystic Water!" Marril bounced off, beckoning his little brother over before disappearing into view.
"Ok!" Azurill exclaimed. He turned around to nod at everyone. "Thanks~" But before he could leave, the water Pokémon tripped over, his apple flying across the air onto the ground.
Kitsune scurried over to the fallen Pokémon, helping his friend up. "Are you ok?" Rio was by his side immediately. "Yea," Azurill mumbled. "No worries, I'm fine."
Amber picked up the apple with her paw and padded over to hand over the apple to Azurill. "Here, are you sure your okay?" She blinked worriedly at him.
"Yea." Azurill used his tail to brush the apple into his bag, but Amber's paw brushed over his tail, and a sudden flash of light appeared. Then there was darkness. And then a screech.
"H-HELP!"
And then everything turned white.

Hope that was good enough for everyone... But once again, I'd really appreciate it if someone tells me my mistakes to improve my writing (I've noticed my writing has WAY too much dialogue. I'll have to improve on that) Thanks again!
