Chapter 4: So...Wardes...Yeah, poor guy.

Gallia – Personal chambers of King Joseph -

"Uuuhg...Aaaha..." the blue-haired man groaned pathetically as he dragged his aching body out of the bed until he fell on the floor with a low groan.

"W-W-Where am I?" the man asked aloud as he lifted himself on unsteady legs to waddle towards the mirror of his room to see his own blood-shot, sunken eyes look back at him from a disheveled face.

"My room? How did I get here?" he asked aloud as he watched the absolute MESS reigning in his personal chambers, just like if a hurricane had just passed by there.

It was all a mess of colors, shapes and...And feelings? Feelings?

He had felt something, but what?

"Uhmmm! Get back to bed, Master! We have not done yet." the man's Familiar, a woman with pale skin, said hugging him from behind to cover his neck in kisses.

"Oh..." Joseph muttered as only now he noticed that both him and her were completely naked and sweaty.

"...So that was Lust?...I would have preferred something like Pride or Anger...But it is still a good start." the man said still feeling completely empty...Only this time in the lower half of his body instead of his heart.

"Go call my spies, we need to find the source of that strange disturbance!" the King ordered, if whatever happened awakened his Lust, then maybe once tinkered a little with it using Void Magic and Elf Magic, it would awake other feelings as well in him!

"Impossible."

"WHY!? How dare you not obey?!" Joseph roared in anger.

"We are the only ones awake, we were not the only ones having fun." the man's Familiar replied still kissing his shoulders.

"Eh?" the man said as he stumbled outside his room to see the corridors filled in sleeping guards and maidens all in various states of undress.

"...Eh...Okay, maybe I will need to come-up with some containment measures first, just in case." Joseph muttered impressed by the WIDE area of effect of whatever happened.

At the same time – Romalia -

"SCANDAL! The Pope of Romalia Vittorio XXXII has been found in an orgy with Three men, five women, two midgets, six underage boys and four underage girls, a duck and a donkey called Bobo! The papacy is in shambles! Everybody is unsure if Vittorio will hold the title as Pope or if he will be excommunicated!" a young man red in a great voice the latest edits from the high charges of the church.

"Still unconfirmed the voices talk about a strange wave of Lust washing over the entire land! The populace is asked to not panic and to not give in to further carnal urges but instead seek the nearest Healer! Do not panic! Everything is under control as every available expert is studying this mysterious phenomenon!" the man also said while behind him a very naked young Pope was being dragged away in chains.

"It was not my fault! That strange wave of Sin forced me! I am innocent!" Vittorio screamed as he was dragged away.

"Then why you had those boys and girls there at ready? And the donkey? FOR FUCK SAKE, WHY BOBO TOO!?" one of the guards asked in tears.

"Bobo was innocent!" another said desperate.

"Those were my maids and boy-servants! I can explain! I can explaaaaaaain!" Vittorio bellowed as the guards, by mistake, kicked and punched him all the way to the special holding cells the church had created just for people like him.

Namely a series of rooms without windows or doors that will then be completely closed by a new wall, people were usually put there to be forgotten about and the cells opened every fifty years to clean away the 'no longer alive' old occupants.

But who was behind that strange wave of Lust that covered half the planet either? What evil mastermind could use such strange way to put all those people in this strange situation?

Later that day – Tristain Academy of Magic – Kirche's room -

"...Wow..." Kirche muttered in awe as she awoke to find herself laying on the ruins of her old bed.

"I told you my Lust Release was dangerous." Luis answered snuggling closer to the naked Germanian woman.

"Yeah, but I didn't expect that much!...A woman may get addicted to this." she said with an amused smile as she patted his head.

"You make it sound like a bad thing, I can just supply you whenever you need." the Umbran Wizard said getting up and stretching.

"Where are you going?"

"Don't you remember? We have to help little Louise with that mission for Princess Henrietta."

"Ah, yeah! Recovering those documents, I almost forgot. We better get ready soon." Kirche said annoyed as she too got up, reluctantly, from the bed.

Meanwhile -

"...my staff..." Tabitha said dejected as she watched her long, thick wooden staff lying on the ground snapped in two after she 'clenched' too hard around it.

"...Maybe it's time I find myself a man." she muttered unsure.

Elsewhere -

"Oooh...My head..." Professor Colbert groaned weakly.

"Sssh! don't scream, I have a headache," the naked woman next to him asked in agony before both man and woman's eyes snapped wide open.

"M-M-Miss L-Longueville!?" the man asked.

"P-P-Professor C-Colbert?!" the Headmaster's secretary replied.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" and both screamed at the same time.

Same Time – Hanzou's room -

"Eh, Pansies, it was just my son's Lust Storm Technique, there is nothing strange about this." Hanzou uttered in contempt as he heard the various screams of the victims of Luis' releasing the Lust accumulated in the Seal on his hand he had absorbed for Cleopatra's Lust circle in Inferno.

"Still causing trouble, even in another world. He took it from you." Jeanne said nonplussed as she finished dressing.

"No, woman! He clearly took it from your side of the family!" the man answered annoyed.

"Keep telling yourself that, and keep Luis out of trouble while you are at it." she said disappearing into a Hell Portal back to Rain Village.

"What did I ever find in you enough to have a son, I will never know." Hanzou muttered sighing annoyed.

Later that day – Vestri Court -

Once the headmaster was done informing everybody that the annual 'Familiar Fair' Festival would have been postponed to the end of the month for obvious reasons, the students had been even given an extra free day since not a soul in the school, for a reason or another, was in any condition to hold/follow lessons as they normally would due to fatigue, dehydration, sore muscles and so on...

And of course NOBODY wanted to talk about the truth behind all this happening, since it would mean admitting that they had woke-up having apparently assaulted their betrothed/boyfriend/girlfriend in raving hunger to have drunk-monkey-sex with them, especially to the students of the younger years that apparently where unaffected by it.

"It works only on who his above the age of consent?" Kirche asked curious as she and Luis moved to the meeting point where they would find the helper Henrietta sent for them and Louise, having decided to anticipate the Mission thanks to the whole Familiar Fair being postponed.

Even Foquet had to wait before trying to break in the school vault, both because she was too tired to try and because she actually needed that event to cover her attack to the high-security chamber.

"Yes and no...16 is not considered legal age, being de facto considered 'underage' both in my world and in this, but physically speaking, their hormones can still be affected, even if in a lesser way...Let's say that at younger than 16 you feel almost nothing and at 16 you have just the need to wank a couple times, but from 17 years of age and up, if your loved one or a 'soulmate' is in sight...Well, there won't be nothing short of Death or the End of the World that will stop them from reaching each other and go at it until both drop unconscious." Luis answered.

"So kids..."

"Kids are safe, no lolicon powers here." he answered showing the heart tattoo on his hand being once again covered in cracks to show it was now completely empty.

"Amazing! And the area of effect?" Kirche asked as a very tired-looking Louise stumbled towards them.

"I never measured, but I can guess from the diabolical woman that gave me this, that if it didn't cover AT LEAST half the planet I will be surprised."

"Daaaaamn!"

"G'mornin'" the pink-haired girl said yawning.

"My word, little Louise! What happened?" Kirche asked curious.

"Couldn't sleep much." she answered yawning again.

"And your hand?" Luis asked noticing the short girl's bandaged hand.

"Wrist cramp, luckily it is not the hand I hold my wand with….I...I took too many notes, yeah, I wrote too much." she answered blushing.

"So she had not her soulmate in sight?"

"And she had to improvise, yes, Kirche-chan."

"Oooh!"

It was then that an unnatural wind came out from nowhere, or better, a breeze came, but it was clear that whoever was behind the spell was too tired to use a stronger one to then swoop in.

"My dear Louise..." YAAAAAAAWN! "I came to help you." a man with a flamboyant hat and cape said trying to go for a dazzling smile no matter the heavy bags under his eyes.

"Rough night, playboy?" Luis asked smirking.

"Viscount Wardes is my betrothed, he is not a playboy!" Louise answered indignant.

"Of course not! I would never cheat on her!" the man newly recognized as Wardes said nodding.

"Unless going to a brothel while foaming at the mouth for female company count as Cheating, but Miss Bertha's boobs are nothing to sneeze at!" the man also thought in a daze while remembering the wild fun he had the night before he reached the school.

"My mistake then, sorry."

"So Miss Zerbst will accompany us?" Wardes asked curious.

"Indeed, me and my dear Familiar Luis have also been tasked with this Mission, or better, we have been asked to accompany you just in case troubles arise." Kirche answered smirking proud.

"I am proud to be accompanied by a woman with such a fierce blood then! And with a mage-using Familiar to boot! I can easily say that we will meet very little obstacles during our journey!" Wardes answered with a pleased tone.

"Yeah, yeah." Luis said bored as he turned into a pure-white dove to land on Kirche's shoulder.

"...That was quite the trick." Wardes admitted impressed.

"My dear Luis is full of surprises, and like this, people won't see anything strange in my Familiar since he now looks like an animal." Kirche answered patting the dove's head.

"Exactly!" the transformed mage answered smugly.

"Me and Petite are ready to go as well." Louise said as her Doll Familiar waved at the group happily from its Master's back.

"She is very adorable, dear Louise, almost as pretty as you." the Viscount said looking pleased.

"Oh, Wardes!" the small girl replied touched, both skillfully ignoring Kirche and her Familiar making overly-loud gagging noises behind them.

"Then I guess we are ready to depart, time is of essence!" Wardes said as his own personal mount, a griffin, appeared behind him.

"HEY! I am coming toooooo!" A new voice said in desperate need as Guiche ran towards the group already riding a horse.

"Monsieur De Gramont...You too?" Wardes asked as his composure faltered a little to show an annoyed expression for barely an instant.

Expression that Louise missed, but Kirche and Luis certainly didn't.

"Yes! I want to come with you, I NEED to go with you!" the blond noble boy asked frantically looking behind himself as if fearing for Satan himself to pop-up and drag him away.

"What happened that made you take this decision?" Louise asked huffing.

"Recent events beyond your understanding, Valliere! Now just let me come with you!" Guiche answered talking a mile per minute.

"Let me guess, you boned Montmorency last night and now she has already started talking about Responsibilities and Marriage." Luis suggested face-palming with one of his wings.

"Actually, yes! Can I come, please? I'll pay my part of expenses! Pleaaaase! I need to disappear until things calm-down!" the young man begged pitifully.

Sigh! "Okay! Since you are already ready to depart, but you'll have to keep-up as we won't wait for you." Wardes answered with a suffered sigh, especially since he kind of found himself in a similar predicament when he was Guiche's age time ago so he felt compelled to help the boy escape the girl's clutches.

"Good thing I used a fake name that time!"

"Thank you!" the young man replied as he almost looked about to cry.

"This leaves you without a horse, Kirche, need some help in finding a fast one?" Louise said as she mounted the same griffin of Wardes with a smug smile.

"That is not how you should talk to your Big Sister, Uhmpf! And again Uhmpf!" the other replied huffing annoyed.

"Horses-Smhorses, give me a minute." the Umbran Familiar said rolling his eyes as he flew towards Kirche's room.

"Be quick!" Guiche begged.

"What is he doing?" Wardes asked.

"I have no idea actually, but knowing him, it will be something to appease his Prima Donna side, he loves to be under the limelight." Kirche answered chuckling.

In fact, barely two minutes after he left, the Umbra Clan marking appeared written in the air right between the group, and from there, with the sound of breaking glass Luis came out riding the Angel Slayer motorcycle to land directly in front of Kirche.

"AH! You got your mother the lend you her bike?" the young woman said impressed.

"Yeah, she was not happy about it, and says that if we break it she will kick our ass...Especially if I get hurt while driving it." Luis answered as the red-haired woman mounted behind him in an elegant and well-practiced maneuver.

"Still, I enjoy traveling on this thing, you should get one for your own, one of these days." she said leaning closer to his back.

"Eh! Chicks digs bikers, I knew it! I'll see what I can do." her Familiar answered.

"Good boy."

"Sorry if I interrupt, but…What's that?" Wardes asked curious.

"My mother likes to tinker with a lot of stuff, and this beast of a bike is the result, she lovingly calls it 'Angel Slayer' and it's the second most precious thing in her life."

"And you are the first?"

"Bwahahahaha! Oh, hell No! I actually come third! The first is the cat doll my aunt gifted her when they were kids!" he answered laughing amused.

"This is nice and all! But can we go now?" Guiche asked.

"Fine, fine. Hold on tight Louise! Very few things can compete with a griffin's flying speed!" Wardes said making his mount take fly.

"And the others?" Louise asked curious.

"I am sure they will catch up sooner or lat-" BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

While he was saying that Luis had jammed his Umbran-Magic-Coated middle finger in the key-hole of the bike to revving it on, making its exhaust pipes shot-out an awe-inspiring jet of purple flames as the bike launched forward at ludicrous speed soon breaking the sound barrier, thus leaving Wardes behind in the dust.

"Except dragons and that strange metal horse, apparently, yet we will be-"

WHOOOOOOOSH!

A new blur passed by them looking very horse-like in its shape and silencing the Viscount again with the immense cloud of dust it raised behind its crazy acceleration.

"FASTER! RUN FASTER, FOUNDERDAMMIT!" Guiche was actually whipping his horse as hard as he could, as if so unhappy about the animal's speed to be actually considering the Pros and Cons of just dismounting and carrying said beast on his back as he personally ran away just to get away faster from the Academy.

"..."

"...We are riding the fastest mount, eh?" Louise asked bitterly and with crossed arms, and it was hard to tell if her words were hurting more Wardes' pride or the griffin's.

The next day – Town of La Rochelle -

"If you don't want to take us to Albion personally, I will at least buy the ship!"

"Nope! Not selling either!" the captain of the small, run-down flying ship said shaking his head no.

"What?! Why?" Wardes asked angrily.

"No ship will be flying for at least a month, decision of the Flying Ship Trade Union, we want less taxes on our goods!" the captain answered huffing.

"Damn Unions! I knew it was a bad idea letting you people have them!" the Viscount growled in answer as in a bout of pettiness he used a lightning spell to destroy the man's ship before walking away.

"NOOOOOOO! MY CABBAGEEEEEES!" and ignoring the man's cry of agony as he watched the small thing and its cargo turn to ashes.

"So?" Kirche asked while toying with the bike's steering.

"Every Captain is on strike, and they refuse to sell their boats and ships too, just to keep them non-flying." the man answered grumbling.

"Yep! Same going from the other docks too!" Luis added re-joining the group himself.

"What now?" Guiche asked looking around sighing.

"As for now it's getting late, so we will sleep in one of the Inns and...And maybe tomorrow I will see if we can steal a ship." Wardes answered groaning.

"Steal one? Like common thieves?!" Louise said shocked.

"Considering that our Mission is fairly important, I guess we'll need to do everything in our power to complete it, stealing included." Kirche answered shrugging.

"Precisely, but this is something we will worry about tomorrow, for now let's go find some rooms for the night." Wardes said motioning the group to follow him back to town.

"Luis?" Kirche asked unsure.

"I am sure I can control one just fine, why you ask?" the Familiar asked back.

"All the boats he looked for were small...Too small to carry us all AND the normal crew, so should have he found one, somebody would have been forced to remain behind."

"Like me and you and Guiche?"

"Maybe, your father said there is some sort of Organization infiltrating both Albion and Tristain, isn't it?" the red-haired girl asked as she and the Umbran Mage made sure to remain slightly behind to talk.

"Reconquista. We still don't know who is in charge since the spy we caught was at the bottom of the ladder, but the next one will hopefully give us more details." Luis answered with a hard look on his face that looked our of place on his usual cheerful attitude.

"Who's the new spy?" Kirche asked curious.

"That's a surprise." the young man replied with a devious smirk.

Back in Tristain Magic Academy -

"Longueville-san?" Hanzou said entering the woman's office.

"Yes?" the secretary asked.

"I need to ask you few things...Got five minutes?" the Kage of Rain Village asked as he locked the door and unsealed the Kusarigama that made him the nightmare of entire generations of shinobi in the Elemental Countries.

"...What kind of things?" the woman replied with narrowed eyes as her hand inched towards her wand.

"Like if I should keep using the name Longueville...Or go with Foquet..." Hanzou asked taking away his mask so that few swirls of purple poisonous miasma could freely whisk out.

"LANCE DE LA TERRE!"

"IBUSE!"

Both yelled at the same time as the fake secretary tried to defend herself from the legendary shinobi's attacks.

Back with Luis and Kirche – later that night -

"I am pretty sure your father will get to that spy, I would be more worried about him killing the guy by accident." Kirche said as she undressed to go to bed.

"He got better since me and my mother re-entered his life, he learned to show a tiny bit of restraint, if motivated well enough, that is." Luis answered.

"...You think we will be able to recover those letters?" Kirche asked worried.

"It won't be easy, those people may suspect Princess Henrietta may want to recover them before her marriage to that Germanian Emperor is finalized, so they may be already on high alert and expect one or more Missions from the Royal Family to recover them, so in a sense, they will be waiting for us."

"What could possibly be in those letters that can endanger the wedding? Prince Wales and Princess Henrietta are first cousins, is not like they have a relationship!" the woman said groaning.

"Maybe there is some sort of secret alliance between Albion and Tristain and they fear that should the news get out other territories like Gallia will feel threatened? Albion and Germania allying with Henrietta may mean her gaining A LOT of support." Luis wondered.

"Albion never was a real 'Ally' so to speak...More like a neighbor they had friendly relationship with...So maybe they fear those letter will show that they are more than just friends."

"How's that Emperor? The Germanian one?"

"Can you keep a secret?"

"Of course! Even if I was not your Familiar, I would have kept it a secret!" he answered proudly.

"Well...The guy is a moron."

"...That's it?"

"You want the longer version? Okay: Dear Albrecth III Von Germanien is a power-hungry moron that got on the so-called 'Throne' of Germania because at the time he wielded the biggest ax and had the smallest qualms about beheading whoever stood between himself and his goals. He had already married twice and held several concubines, and while the concubines were simply kicked away once he became tired of them, the other two wives died because the first was (so they say) a spy of his enemies while the second died of illness...Now voices are he fills his free time with his favourite stable boy Froederick while he waits for this farce of a marriage to happen."

"And how much does Henrietta know about all this?"

"In all honesty? If she knows even just about the existence of a second wife before her I will call her spies true Masters, Albrecth takes great care to be sure his personal matters remain personal."

"And you know all this because..."

"My aunt was one of those concubines, she didn't take lightly being tossed away so now she has her own spies between the man's maids and man-servants."

"Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned."

"Whoever said that, my dear Luis, was a gifted scholar, let me tell you." Kirche confirmed.

"So he is just using this marriage to enlarge his power and territory, just like Henrietta is using it to have some allies just in case her kingdom gains too many enemies." Luis muttered thoughtful.

"Exactly, unfortunately only the Commoners marry for Love. For the Nobles, more often than not is all a matter of Prestige or Influence...Sure some happily ever after are sprinkled here and there as well, but compared to the total number they are few and far in between." the woman said sighing.

"That sounds kinda sad." the Umbran Familiar said sitting next to the young woman.

"But unfortunately it's how the world works here in Halkegina, that is why I like your Village, there people seem...Modern?" Kirche admitted leaning her head on his shoulder.

"We are crazy on our own, just in a different way." he admitted chuckling.

"That may be, but from may point of view it's a Refreshing kind of different madness." she replied kissing his cheek.

"Why don't you move to Rain Village then?"

"With you?" she asked smirking.

"Weeeeell...You know...To widen your horizons and make new experiences..." he replied lamely.

"Huhuhu! And doing what? I am not the housewife type!"

"You said your mother's family specializes in import-export of Liqueurs, right? My Clan has two pubs: one in Rain Village and one in Konoha and we are about to open a third one in Suna...You could import Halkeginan Liqueurs to the Elemental Countries through us! I mean, alcohol from another world? That would be exotic enough to justify whatever price you ask for!" Luis answered.

"Huhuhu! You really want to keep me around, don't you?" Kirche asked teasingly.

"What if I do?"

"...Oh." she replied, stumped with how dead honest and heart-felt his answer was.

"Well, I'll think about it, okay?" the young woman answered dropping the joking tone to answer with a more sincere smile.

Chu!

"That's all I ask," he answered smiling and giving her a small kiss on the lips.

Now, those two had done a LOT of things ever since she Summoned him, especially when he showed her what it felt to be the target of his Lust Release, so that small kiss should have been nothing too exceptional…

And yet it felt different from the others they had before, very different.

"You are a very devious Familiar, you know? A dirty young man trying to steal away this pure maiden to your Village so to leave Halkegina without my burning passion." Kirche said smirking as she took his hand in hers.

"Maaaybe!" he replied amused as he kissed her hand knuckles.

KRATABOOOOOOM!

It was then that the room next to theirs (Occupied by Wardes and Louise) exploded so fiercely to shock the whole Inn.

"What the fuck!?"

"LOUISE!" the red-haired Germanian yelled in fright as both her and her Familiar hurried towards the girl's room to see the door demolished, the place in disarray and the whole wall opposite from the entrance missing to show the utter chaos of screams and yelled spell chanting reaching them from the road outside were hundreds of bandits were attacking the local guards with spells and/or various weapons.

"Stop where you are!" Kirche screamed at the masked figure standing on the edge of that hole while holding an unconscious Luoise on his shoulder.

"Why even bother with the mask, Wardes? You have not even changed clothes!" Luis asked with narrowed eyes as the man was clearly the Viscount, only with an opera mask covering his face.

"How did you know it was me?" he asked.

"You damn moron! You. Have not. Changed. Clothes! You can wear all the masks you want, but if the clothes, stupid hat, beard and hair remain unchanged, even a mentally-impaired kid will tell it's you!" the Umbran Mage answered in angry disbelief.

"Etiquette must be respected, Boy! I don't expect you to understand! Now, Adieu!" the man replied jumping down.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

"AAAARGH!" the Noble howled in pain as the rapid salvo of Luis' bullets caught his arm forcing him to drop the still-sleeping Louise.

"Grab her!" Kirche yelled as both jumped down to follow the falling girl with the Germanian Noble levitating herself down to slow her descend, only to see Wardes' griffin swoop in to catch both girl and wounded Viscount to fly away.

"He is going towards the docks!" Luis said as he and Kirche found themselves surrounded by the local soldiers, escaping scared civilians and the hundreds of bandits that had flooded the streets.

"Kirche! Luis!" they heard Guiche yell as his Valkiries, while weak compared to those men's Magic, managed to cut a path for him to use to join them.

"What is happening?" he asked frantically as the three of them ran to cover to not be caught in the cross-fire of the spells flying everywhere.

"In short? There is a good chance Wardes betrayed us! he has just kidnapped Louise and is going towards the docks to steal one of the ships to reach Albion by himself and get his hands on those documents we were tasked to recover, only for Tristain Enemies instead of doing that for Princess Henrietta." Kirche answered as the wall next to them exploded, and it was only thanks to Guiche's own mole Familiar Verdandi if they had a trench to find cover in.

"T-The Viscount?! B-But he is a hero!" Guiche said in disbelief.

"Remember me to tell you about how Heroes are just men with a pretty title others gave them! Just because in the past he did something good and great, it doesn't make him above reproach, now run!" Luis yelled grabbing the back of the boy's frilly blouse to drag him away.

"W-Where are we going?"

"To find a ship ourselves! Wardes is going to Albion and if he himself is behind this chaos to use it as a cover for his escape, then it means that probably he also has a ship at ready for him to use." Kirche said as the group hurried towards the docks.

"S-Since when do you-"

"I know when to have fun and when to be serious, just like my Familiar! And now I have not the time to be my usual flirty self, SO MOVE YOUR ASS!" she answered growling making him shriek and hurry up.

"Most of the roads are blocked by the fights or the damages those people did, we'll need to open a path ourselves," Luis said growling.

"What a damn mess! I should have asked Tabitha and Sylphid to come with us!" Kirche shouted blocking the advancing of several thugs with a small wall of fire.

"Verdandi! Dig a hole through those rubble! Hurry!" Guiche ordered as he summoned a new trio of Valkirie around them.

"OXEX RACLIR! GOMORRAH! (to vomit weeping.)" Luis intoned summoning the towering head of the demon that started chewing on the closest Earth Golems of those bandits.

"INFERNO!" Kirche intoned as a long blast of fire from her wand forced the closest enemies to jump back to not being eaten alive.

"Valkiries! Engarde!" Guiche ordered making his construct dash forward to bash several men with their shields.

"How long does it take to your Familiar to dig a damn hole?!" Luis barked as he kept shooting whoever moved too close to him or Kirche.

Bakracrash!

A that a thundering noise eclipsed their words as behind them the tall mountain of ruins that used to be the whole side of their Inn collapsed on itself into a new hole that had opened under it.

"Let's go! My Familiar opened a path!" the blond Noble boy answered as the wall of debris finally gave-in under the giant mole underground work.

"Luis! That card trick!" Kirche ordered as now the thugs were focusing on them only.

"Roger! RED CLIMAX!" the Familiar answered wearing the gloves of his Dandy Man weapon to cover the whole street in cards flaming in red energy, and as soon as they were far enough, throwing a rose at one of them to start a chain reaction of thundering explosions that made the entire area of La Rochelle tremble heavily.

"I appreciate the theatrical implications, but why the trigger is a red rose?" Guiche couldn't help asking.

"Its mean is all in its complete LACK of mean...At least that is what my teacher Dante said when he trained me into using those gloves!" Luis answered.

"Soo...Just because?"

"Exactly."

"...Is there anybody even remotely NORMAL in your family?" Kirche asked in disbelief.

"Maybe my goldfish Dormammu-chan, but I am not even sure about it."

A short run later – Docks -

"SET SAIL!" they heard Wardes order in a great hurry.

"NOOO!" Kirche yelled as they arrived just in time to see the ship depart at great speed once thrown away the cargo and the dead bodies of the old crew.

"What now?" Guiche asked.

"...How long will it take to that ship to reach Albion?" Luis asked with narrowed eyes.

"At that speed? Two days, maybe, even one and a half if they push that ship to its limits. But I cannot give you a proper answer." Guiche answered after a moment of thought.

"What are you thinking?" Kirche asked.

"I think we should ask to Enzo if he can find something for us to use to reach Albion before them, we will wait for Wardes to arrive and stop him before he gets his hands on those letters." Luis answered as he looked around until he found what he was looking for.

Namely, a Hell Portal to the Naraka Club Pub in Rain Village.

"Reach Albion before them? How? La Rochelle is famous for having the fastest (non-military) flying ships this side of Halkegina." Guiche asked confused.

"Then we'll see how it will fare against an F-14. Congratulations, Guiche! You are about to meet the Umbran Clan in my homeland!" Luis said dragging the two of them in a corner of an alleyway.

"I don't understAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" both said at the same time before the terrain gave-in under them to let them fall in a bottomless pit of spiraling, angry, red energy.

Naraka Club Pub – Rain Village -

"Visitors incoming." Rodin said nonplussed an instant before the other end of the Hell Portal opened on the ceiling of his pub to let Guiche land face-first on the floor while Luis and Kirche managed to land on their feet.

"Oh! Hey there, mate!" Loki said in surprise at seeing the young man and his great-great-etc Granddaughter land there in such a hurry.

"Rodin! Where is my mother?! Or Aunt Bayonetta?!" Luis asked immediately.

"Something wrong, pipsqueak?" the fallen angel asked looking at him from the top of his sunglasses.

"I am here, I am here, Little menace, what's wrong?" Bayonetta asked as she was entering the pub from the main door.

"...Your aunt is damn hot..." Guiche admitted gulping.

"PLEASE try to not think with your dick for once in your life!" Kirche begged face-palming.

"Remember that fighting jet mom used to help you? I need that or something just as fast and flying to reach a floating continent before a kidnapper can bring Louise there!"

"So Loptrs' kid got captured, eh? For the Void?" Loki asked.

"THE VOID?!" Guiche shrieked with wide eyes.

"I'll explain later, NOW SHUT UP!" Kirche answered glaring him into silence.

"That thing got destroying last time Jeanne used it." Rodin answered calmly.

"So you have nothing else to use?" Luis asked worried.

"I never said that, boy. Let me call Enzo, so we'll see what that idiot can come up with." the barman answered nonplussed as he disappeared into one of his portals to then reappear five minutes later with the struggling fat midget dragged behind him.

"Un-fucking-believable! I can't even have some damn holiday these days!" the informant screamed in outrage.

"Hello, Enzo!" Luis said.

"Hi there to you, yah little punk! What do you need?"

"An F-14."

"...You joking."

"NO! I AM DAMN SERIOUS!" the other bellowed.

"Okay, its sounds like an emergency. Why you need a fighting jet?" Enzo asked.

"It has to be something damn fast and hard to intercept for a bunch of Mages still into the Dark Ages but with real dragons and flying ships and whatnot." Luis explained.

"We must reach a floating continent in less than a day and a half." Kirche added in urgency.

"...So it doesn't have to be a fighting jet...Or even an aircraft at all..." Enzo said with a thoughtful expression.

"What do you have in mind?" Bayonetta asked curious.

One hour later – Halkegina – above the sea and on the road to Albion -

CRAAAAAASH!

In a deafening cacophony of breaking glass, from a huge Umbran Portal courtesy of both Bayonetta and Jeanne, Enzo's 'Alternative Transport' shoot-out at maddening speed thanks to Luis' Magic giving it an extra kick with dark-purple flames coming out from its back burners.

"A damn ICBM!How does that fat bastard manage to put his hands on this stuff!?" Luis yelled in disbelief as he, Kirche and Guiche could be seen riding the giant missile towards Albion.

(ICBM – Intercontinental Ballistic Missile)

"YOUR FAMILIAR IS INSANE! HIS FAMILY IS INSANE!...THEY ARE ALL BATSHIT INSANE! ALL OF THEEEEEM!" Guiche shrieked in fear as both clutched for dear life to the back wings of the missile.

"Insane or not, he is the only hope we have to reach Louise and save her!" Kirche answered barely heard above the howling wind whipping all around them.

"And what about my Verdandi?!"

"if your Familiar is really that smart it will find his way back to school with my message for Tabitha! We will need her dragon for the trip back as I don't think this thing was made to land gracefully!" the red-haired woman answered.

"We got company! Hold tight!" Luis ordered as Umbran runes appeared around the middle of the missile and around its tail.

In front of them there was a small fleet of flying ships with a strange insigna on it, and they had clearly been tasked with stopping every ship from coming too close to Albion, and they were sure to not be in their Guest List because spells soon started raining all around them.

"We are already!" both Nobles answered indignant.

"Then do it harder because it's going to get shaky!"

"WHAT?!"

"Welcome to my Fantasy Zone! GET READY!" Luis said to the rune-made microphone like marking appearing on his cheek and close to his mouth as he somehow made the missile do a barrel roll to dodge an incoming ice spear.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" all on the notes of the two Nobles' screams of fear.

"Stop screaming and focus! We have a friend to save! Louise needs us!" the Umbran Familiar answered in determination.

"YULCI! HEKATONCHEIR! (Come Forth Hekatoncheir)" the young man yelled summoning the six GIANT arms of the Demon of Inferno to punch the front rows of ships to splinters so to clear the way for them to pass through.

"Be strong, Louise! I am coming to save you!...If I do not puke myself to death first!" Kirche thought valiantly before turning slightly green on her face towards the final part.

End of the chapter! XD

A small doubt I have, remember that missile Bayonetta rides in the first game? Ideally speaking, what range and what damage would a missile as big as that one cause on impact?

It's important for the story and the very next chapter, please help me.

A bit unsure about this chap, I like how it came out, but I still feel it lacks something…

The whole story lacks 'Something' to make it be almost-perfect in my eyes, but for the life of me, I can't understand what that Something is…

Whatever.

Have a nice day! Bye!
