"What do you mean?" Sohma asked.

"I want Yuuri to come live with me, which means away from you," Wolfram stated.

"What do you want with him? He's only going to be a burden," Sohma said. Yuuri felt worse. He knew that his father blamed him, but he was never called a burden before.

"My reason is none of your business. I want to take Yuuri with me and isn't that doing you a favour for taking the burden away from you?" Wolfram asked but his patient was wearing thin. He made a mental note to apologize to Yuuri later for calling him a burden.

"If you want him so badly then take him. He's useless and I don't even care about what you're going to do with him," Sohma said and got up.

"I would also like to take his things with us," Wolfram said.

"Take it. All of it. I don't want anything that reminds me of him," Sohma said before walking out of the room.

"Stubborn old man," Wolfram grumbled and turned to Yuuri. "Let's go pack up your things."

Yuuri only nodded as he silently made his way to his room with Wolfram following. Wolfram lived in lavished homes all his life but he had to say that the small home did look like a lovely place if it wasn't for the abusive father.

"Yuuri, is something the matter?" Wolfram asked but Yuuri was still looking down at the floor and shook his head. Wolfram was worried and walked up to him "You can tell me about it. Unless it's about what I said to your father, I didn't mean it, you're no one's burden."

"It's nothing," Yuuri said and walked over to start cleaning off his desk. Wolfram sighed and pulled out his cellphone. He called their persona driver and provided the man with the address of the house.

As he was talking, he was watching Yuuri pack his things in a slow manner where he still seemed to be lost in his own thoughts.

Wolfram looked around and saw a suitcase in the corner of his room. It was next to the closet so he thought he should help by packing as well.

"I used to think about running away," Yuuri spoke quietly. Wolfram looked up to see that Yuuri was looking at the half filled suitcase. "But I never had the courage to. Then one day, my father threw that at me and yelled at me to leave. He was drunk at the time and didn't remember a thing."

"Yuuri…" Wolfram wanted to reach out to him but he already went back to packing up his books. The longer they hung around, the longer Yuuri had to be surrounded by these horrible memories.

Wolfram's cellphone rang again just as they were both looking around for anything they missed. The driver had already arrived and was waiting for them outside the house. They moved all the items out of the house and packed them neatly into the trunk. The driver looked mildly surprised when Wolfram handed him the suitcase as if Wolfram hadn't done a day of work in his life. Which was only half true. He did some work in his lifetime thus far.

Wolfram led Yuuri inside the large car and entered after himself. Yuuri was staring out the window the whole trip and Wolfram looked at him with concern.

When they arrived, the driver took care of the boxes and luggage. Wolfram waited for Yuuri to take in the scenery before guiding him inside. Wolfram opened the door and entered his home with Yuuri but barely dodged his mother in the process.

"Wolfie, you're so mean to me," Cecilie pouted at her son. Yuuri watched in curiosity at the grown woman pouting at Wolfram.

"You can take the things up to my room. Lead Yuuri there too, there's a few things I have to sort out with my mother first," Wolfram said. The butler did as he was told but Yuuri looked at him in panic for a moment. Wolfram nodded and he hesitantly followed the older man.

Ignoring his mother's questions, Wolfram walked into the living room with his mother following extremely close by.

"Who's Yuuri? Was he the person you were talking about? Oh my god, that was him wasn't it?" Cecilie squealed.

"He's… a friend…"

"He's the person we were talking about," Cecilie cheered and Wolfram blushed slightly, "I knew it but why did he have so much stuff with him? Why did you make him go upstairs and not let me meet him?"

"Mother," Wolfram said and cleared his throat to recompose himself, "I told Yuuri that he could stay here with us since the conditions at his house were really bad."

"I don't mind, he makes my son happy!" Cecilie smiled.

"Where's Conrad?"

"At Yozak's."

"Is he coming back tonight?

"He's be back for dinner."

"Can you go shopping or something? I want to talk to Yuuri but it would be better without you trying to pry into our privacy," Wolfram said.

"Are you sure it's just talking?" Cheri asked teasingly and Wolfram blushed darker.

"Yes! It's just talking. I'll explain it later when I get more details but for now, can you just leave for a bit?"

"Sure, whatever my son want!" Cheri said, "But when can I come back?"

"I'll… call you."

"Okay! I'm going to go shopping for some new shoes!" Cheri exclaimed and left with the driver. Wolfram sighed and went upstairs. He opened the door to his room and found Yuuri sitting by the window. Wolfram walked over to him but was a few steps away when Yuuri spoke up.

"Why are you doing this?" Yuuri's question startled Wolfram. Yuuri turned to look at Wolfram, patiently waiting for an answer.

"I um… Do you believe in love at first sight?"

"I do. But such a thing would never happen someone like me…"

"But I… I do think I like you," Wolfram admitted as they both looked away.

"That's… that's not true…"

"It is! I fell in love with you when I first saw you!" Wolfram exclaimed, though he was embarrassed to admit something like that aloud. "It pained me so much when I saw those bruises and cuts on you. I… I wanted you to stop being hurt so I decided to bring you here. I never felt like this about someone before."

"I always felt like I should just die and stop being in people's ways," Yuuri said and Wolfram gasped at the horrible thing that Yuuri just said. He cupped Yuuri's cheeks and stared deeply into his eyes. He could see the doubt and worries but he softened his expression and smiled from the heart.

"Could you at least give me a chance to prove to you that your life is worth something? And maybe even give our relationship a chance?"

"That's funny, I should be the one to say that last line," Yuuri said with teary eyes.

"That means that you'll give it a try."

"I didn't say I wouldn't."

"I have to warn you. I've been told I get a bit possessive."

"Then should I start running?" Yuuri joked and they shared a quick laugh. It just felt right for the two of them to be spending time together, but there was still something that needed to be said before they get too comfortable with their new situation.

"Yuuri, do you trust me enough to tell me about what happened? Like why does your father… act the way he does?" Wolfram could see the hesitation but he wanted to know, he needed to know.

"It was 5 years ago… My family went on camping trip. I had a baseball tournament and we were hurrying home. I was complaining that I was going to be late so my mother sped up. A deer suddenly appeared and my mother tried to avoid it. We crashed into a tree and that was all I remembered. When I woke up in the hospital, they told me my mother and brother died in the accident. My father survived and they thought he was fine but the truth was that either of us could fully accept the fact that they were just… gone. He would always take out his anger on me every day, but it's okay, I deserved it," Yuuri said as tears fell from his eyes. Wolfram wrapped his arms around Yuuri, comforting both Yuuri and himself, "It's okay, I'm fine."

"No you're not, you've been putting on a mask long enough. You can show your true feelings," Wolfram said and Yuuri shook his head.

"No, I am. I'm happy that you would accept me, thank you" Yuuri said and laid his head on Wolfram's shoulder.

"Yuuri, how can you lie about being fine after all these years of torture?"

"I'm fine, really."

"Yuuri… would it be weird if we slept together?"

"Why?"

"Well… If you ever have nightmares, I would always be there" Wolfram said and they were both blushing.

"I guess that's reasonable…"

"You don't have to if you don't want to."

"No, I was just curious. I really don't mind."

"Really?" Wolfram smiled.

"Yeah," Yuuri smiled back, "What time is it?"

"Um… 5:09, why?"

"I should have enough time," Yuuri said, getting up and finding a change of clothes.

"Have enough time for what?" Wolfram asked but Yuuri left to change in the attached washroom. He came out a few moments later in a long sleeve shirt and long pants. "Will you please tell me?"

"Who does the cooking in this house?" Yuuri asked and motioned Wolfram to follow him downstairs.

"We use to have a maid to cook but she quitted after she found a new job" Wolfram said. Yuuri went to the kitchen and started look in the refrigerator and cabinets "What are you looking for?"

"I'm just looking at with you have."

"Why?"

"I'm going to go out, you want to come?"

"Sure, where are we going?"

~Another chance~

"Why did you buy so much?" Wolfram asked.

"Because I need it," Yuuri said and organized the things they bought. Wolfram stood at the doorway, watching Yuuri.

"Do you need this much just for dinner?" Wolfram asked.

"It's not only for dinner. Sometimes you need extra, just in case," Yuuri said "When is your mother coming back?"

"Oh shoot, I forget about her" Wolfram said and putted out his phone. Yuuri let out a giggle and Wolfram stuck out his tongue. He quickly called his mother and announced that dinner was being prepared.

"Is the surprise me or the dinner?" Yuuri questioned after Wolfram ended the call.

"Does it matter?"

"Yes, it does."

"How so?"

"Well… I don't know how well your mother is going to take to the news."

"Don't worry, my mother will love to meet you. But beware of her death hugs," Wolfram warned, "My brother is also going to be here and maybe with his boyfriend."

"You have a brother?"

"Two actually. My oldest brother, Gwendal, is married but lives with his wife, Anissina. My second brother, Conrad, lives with us but he's currently with his boyfriend, Yozak," Wolfram said.

"You have a big family."

"Yeah, I suppose"

"Do you have a good relationship with your brothers?"

"Why do you ask?"

"Just answer the question"

"Gwendal and I hardly talk to ever since he moved out. Conrad and I don't get along well" Wolfram said.

"Why don't you get along?"

"He's always asking me questions of my life. I hate it when he does that"

"You should be happy that you have a brother that cares about you"

"I should be happy for having an annoying brother?"

"I also thought that my brother was annoying. But I realized that he was annoying because he cared about me. Unfortunately, I realized too late" Yuuri said. Wolfram felt uneasy and walked over to Yuuri.

"Yuuri, are you crying?"

"No, it's the onions fault!"

"Sure, blame it on the onions"

That's it for this chapter! The relationship between Yuuri and Wolfram might have gone a little too fast but I still have a lot planned for the two! Please read & review!
