"Guys! Look what I found!" Luffy cried in delight as she ran into the cave. The four had moved in a week ago and were doing well. There was plenty of food and necessities that they would need. Luffy often visited the lake underground, there were also quite a variety of water animals as she herself put them in there to have company. Sabo lifted his head from writing to look at what his little sister was carrying. Inside her arms was a bundle of white fur. He blinked and squinted to take a closer look. The bundle moved.

"What the?! Luffy what did you bring in this time?!" Sabo yelled as he moved away from the white lump of fur. The last thing he saw her bring in was a small shark that almost bit him.

"Where's Ace and Law?" Luffy asked, tilting her head.

"They went to get lunch," Sabo said, placing his wooden pen and paper down, "so what's that you got in your arms?" Luffy grinned and held the animal up. Black beady eyes stared at blue eyes. Sabo blinked and rubbed his eyes before looking at the creature again. "Is that…a polar bear?"

"Yeah! He was all alone and was crying, so I saved him!" Luffy smiled as she stroked the cub's back. "Guess what? I named him too! His name is Bepo!"

"Bepo?" Sabo asked and Luffy nodded. "Wait, wait, one moment, where did you even get that cub?"

"He's not 'that cub' he's Bepo! And I found him lying near a river." Luffy held the cub out with two hands and leaned in towards Sabo. "Wanna hold him?"

"Eh? Sure, I guess." Sabo said with uncertainty as the Bepo was carefully laid into his arms. The bear cub gave a small yawn, his small pink tongue showing. Bepo stuck his tongue out and licked Sabo's chin softly. "Hahaha! Stop that Bepo! It tickles! Hahaha!" Sabo laughed as the bear continued to lick him. Bepo soon stopped and snuggled into Sabo's chest.

"He likes you!" Luffy cried out in joy. "I knew he would! He's going to be a part of my crew!" Sabo almost fell at that, he thought she forgot about that dream, but apparently he was wrong.

"Luffy, we're not even sure if we're going to leave this island." Sabo sighed.

"Of course we will, pirates are all about adventuring and I want to find One Piece!" Luffy raised her hands into the air as she laughed.

"But why a bear?"

"Why not?"

"What can a bear do?"

"I can train him." Luffy puffed out her chest and held out her hands, asking for Bepo which Sabo handed the sleeping bear over and she jumped down to the underground lake. "Sabo! Tell me when lunch is ready!" She hollered and Sabo nodded absently.

"Alright!" He yelled back as he returned to writing. After a while of peace and quiet he looked up to find his other brothers standing in front of him. "Welcome back." He smiled warmly. "Find anything good?"

"Yeah, about that, we got a bear and a boar." Ace said as he gestured outside. Sabo paled at the mention of a bear.

"Um, about that bear, did it have a white fur color…?"

"No, it was a brown bear, why?" Law asked, lifting a brow in curiosity. Sabo shook his head and gave a smile.

"Nah, it's nothing." Law shrugged it off and grabbed some wood from the corner.

"I'll prepare the fire." He said as he walked outside with the boar. "Ace skin the bear will you?"

"Yeah, sure, oh Sabo, where's Luffy?" Ace asked. Sabo pointed towards the hole in the ground and Ace sighed. "She always heads there now, but at least she's having fun I suppose."

"Yup, and she brought something again." Sabo said.

"Eh? What was it this time? A dolphin?"

"Nope, a bear."

"Ah, a bear."

"Yup, a polar bear cub."

"Wait…what?! What the hell would she do with a bear?!" Ace yelled as he stomped his foot. A small rock hit the back of the freckled teen's head before he could go on with his rant.

"Skin." Law commanded as he tossed the bear and Ace pouted.

"Yeah, yeah, but Sabo seriously, where did she even get it?"

"Apparently Lu found him inside of the forest, his name is Bepo by the way." Sabo sighed. Ace made a face, but took out his stone knife and began to carefully cut the bear's skin off. "Ugh! Ace! Don't do that in here please! Last time you did it blood went everywhere and we had to lie to Luffy that it was raspberry juice, plus it went on my clothes and it's hard to wash." Ace huffed and dragged the bear outside while sticking his tongue out at Sabo childishly. The second eldest returned the gesture. Law threw rocks at the both of them.

"Quit acting like brats and help around before I decide to cut you up." He shot a glare and held his sword. Ace and Sabo held their heads pouting.

"Stop throwing rocks at us Law, it hurts!" Ace frowned and stood up walking towards his elder brother.

"LUFFY! LUNCH IS ALMOST READY!" Sabo yelled and Law covered his ears. The blonde gave a satisfied smirk as a glare was sent his way. Ace tossed the bear skin on top of a rock to dry and carried the flesh towards the other two.

"So what should we do with this?" He said as he held up the bloodied carcass.

"I don't know, maybe it might be edible, here give it to me." Law held out a hand and motioned Ace to hand it over. After receiving the remains of the bear, Law took a stick and shoved it through the bear while sticking it near the fire.

"And if it isn't?" Sabo tilted his head.

"Then too bad." Law replied.

"Food is food." Ace sighed. "Ah there's Luffy. " The three boys turned their heads to find their younger sister heading out of the lake with Bepo following nearby. She dusted her clothes and ran towards the three.

"Meet Bepo! He's still trying to learn how to talk and walk. But I'm sure he'll learn in no time!" She introduced cheerily as a large grin split across her face. "Right? Bepo."

"Right." The bear quickly replied, giving his own unique smile.

"I don't even want to know how you taught him so fast." Sabo sighed. "Anyways, come on and eat, we can discuss what to do with the cub later." Law stared at the polar bear cub with an odd look, and Bepo stared right back, blinking his beady eyes.

"Does he bite?" Law asked with a little suspicion as he neared the bear.

"Nope! Bepo is a nice bear! He can't even hurt a flower!" Luffy giggled as she tore at her meal with vigor. "Hef fery fnice."

"Lu don't talk with your mouth full." Sabo chided.

"Right." She said after swallowing. Law gently patted Bepo's fur and smiled before he pulled him into his lap and stroked his fur in a soothing way, in which the bear didn't mind at all. Chuckling a little at how Bepo's tail was wagging, Law began to eat while hugging him close to his chest. He had always liked bears. Sabo, noticing this, stored the information away in his head. It may come in handy later, he thought.

"Tfis is sfwo gfwood!" Luffy cried happily, and quickly swallowed. "Hey, can I go exploring after?"

"If you take someone with you." Ace sternly said.

"I'll go." Bepo raised a paw, waving it around enthusiastically. He then proceeded to make himself comfortable in Law's arms, waiting on his mother to finish, he already liked these humans. Luffy took a large chunk of meat and quickly ran into the jungle excitedly.

"I'm going to go now! C'mon Bepo!"

"Goodbye!" Bepo waved and bounded alongside Luffy with a happy look. Law seemed to deflate somewhat, but got over it and ate his share.

"Someone seems to be attached." Sabo whispered teasingly.

"Shut up."

Hi. Hello. Hola. Anyoung. Bonjour. Howdeedothere. I'm not dead. Well what I really wanted to ask was if any of you wanted me to possibly add Whitebeard in the story? ovo I've been reading about how when they were kids ASL were taken in by them, and I wanted to know your opinions on this, I know it's short, but I'll attempt to make it longer next time, tests, projects, homework...I admit procrastination is getting in the way and I have no excuses ~.~ (even though I just made a few...-laughs nervously) I hope you at least could be patient for a little longer.
