Happy 2019 everyone! Hope this new year is full of hope and happiness for you all.
The gang started up on their adventure once more, walking through the halls of the Bendy game and trying to stay alive for as long as possible. Hopefully even to the ending of the scary game. It may have been Dawn's favorite, but she never thought she'd end up in it.
Jack had offered her to tag along, since she was new to Wireland and had no choice but to accept the offer. She would have been lost anyway if she hadn't said she would. But as she walked next to Jenny and Cliff, with Billy next to Jack up front, her mind kept going back to before. Before she woke up to see Jack over her, seeing if she was okay. Before she was running in the halls of Bendy's studio, trying to escape...
"How you holding up, Miss Arnette?" Cliff asked out of nowhere, making the young singer jump and look at him. "Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you."
"Oh, no, it's fine, love. And please, call me Dawn," began Dawn. "I was just in my own little world for a moment, that's all. And to answer your question, I'm hanging in there."
"Good to hear."
Dawn smiled at him before immediately feeling something tug at her heart, or soul, telling her they were close to something. She looked straight ahead, at the back of Jack's brown haired head, before noticing a couple doors near them, purple in color, with a small symbol on the front of them. They almost struck something familiar to her as she placed her hand on Jack's shoulder, stopping him from his walk and making him and Billy look at her with wonder.
"What is it, Dawn?" Jack asked as the young pale blond haired girl walked up to the door slowly, and grasped one of the handles. "Wait a minute, that's-"
Just like that, Dawn pushed open the doors, as cold air rushed through it and hit their skin with a shivering chill. There was a woods on the other side and a little wooden shack in a clearing not that far away. And immediately, everyone knew this game.
"How the bloody heck is this game combined with Undertale?!" Dawn yelled with surprise.
"I wish I knew," Jack answered back as he noticed Sans walking up to his post with a bottle of ketchup in his hand. "Sans!"
The skeleton looked up to see the group and smiled as he set the bottle on his post and walked up to them. "Hey guys. Welcome back to Wireland!"
"Thanks," Jack said with a chuckle. "I'm not sure you know, but this is Dawn Arnette. She's sort of new to our group."
"Nice to meet you, Dawn. What game are you from?"
"I'm...not from any game. I'm a real person who was just getting ready to watch one of Jack's videos when I blacked out," Dawn answered with a sigh following afterwards. "I'm a writer and singer."
"Well, welcome," Sans said before something seemed to have click in his brain. "Wait, Dawn Arnette...that name sounds familiar."
"How so?" Billy asked. "She isn't from a-"
"Daddy!" A voice rose up, making the group look behind Sans, who also turned around to see a little 6-year-old girl with icy blue hair running up to him with a smile, Frisk walking right behind her.
"Who's that?" Cliff asked with surprise as the little girl ran up to Sans, who picked her up and held her.
"Hey, hon," the skeleton said as Frisk walked up to them, with her hair a bit longer than it was in previous playthroughs Jack has done.
"Frisk?" Jack asked with confusion, but also surprise. Now that he got a closer look, Frisk looked a lot older now, like maybe 19, rather than the age she was in the game of 16.
"Oh, hi Jack!" she said, making Cliff fall down onto his butt in shock. "Are you okay, Cliff?!"
"I'm fine! Was just surprised at hearing you talk!" Cliff yelled, making Jenny and Dawn giggle at his antics. Well, Jenny kept giggling while Dawn looked over and immediately stopped. There, on the little girl's arm, was a name...her name...in a neat cursive writing.
"Oh, my; God," she began, getting everyone's attention as Jenny helped Cliff up.
"What is it, Dawn?" Jenny asked.
Dawn looked at the little girl, seeing her smiling face and bright brown eyes, just like her mother's. This seemed to have made the young singer grin at her. "Is your name Silk, sweetie?" This seemed to have made the little girl look on in wonder, a bigger smile now on her face.
"Yeah! How'd you know?!"
"Lucky guess, I suppose, love," Dawn smiled herself as a cackle was heard through the air.
"The fraction...?" Jack began, now just glaring at Billy for his auto corrected mouth.
"You can't erase me," a voice spoke through the air, making Dawn spin towards a hallway she was near, seeing Bendy staring at her in his cardboard cutout form.
"Let's continue on," Dawn said with uncertainty as she walked through the door with Jack, Jenny, Cliff and Billy, before turning towards the door and closed it quickly.
Sans had put Silk down and let her run over to his post quickly, giggling the whole time.
"Oh, I think I know why Bendy is connected to Undertale!" Jack yelled while Silk was running behind the wooden stand of her father's.
"Why?" Jenny asked as Dawn gasped with her bright blue eyes flashing a bright lilac.
"Our game can be pretty scary," Sans said with a smirk while Frisk giggled beside him as their hands were interlocked.
"You got that right, comedian!" A voice yelled as an explosion was heard behind them. They looked over, minus Dawn, and saw Silk had fallen onto her butt as the smoke cleared. And there, standing in front of the little 6-year-old, was...
"Chara!" Sans yelled back with his white pinpricks disappeared.
"Silk, come here sweetie!" Frisk yelled as Silk stood up and ran towards her mother, hiding behind her legs.
"Welcome back, Jack!" Chara said with static to her voice. "I have to say I enjoyed the Genocide run you did."
"What do you want!?" Jack yelled.
"What else than to destroy this stupid game!"
Dawn just stood there, her back to the others and the expression on her face of concentration as she could hear Chara laugh manically, static escaping her voice. In this moment, she knew exactly what was happening. She heard Jack's fire move forward as it singed some of the trees, and she could also hear Jenny and Cliff's magic. She heard water splashing around, which she assumed was Jenny's power since she seemed so pure, and she heard roots escaping the ground and smacking the bark of the trees like Jack's, which she figured was Cliff's. It made sense considering he wore a green hoodie.
Then she heard the bone magic come from Sans, hearing it clank against each other as he tried to pierce one through Chara's heart. But from what she could hear as well, was that the villainous girl was dodging every attack thrown at her.
"Give it up, weaklings! I'm more powerful now!" Chara yelled with laughter following suit as she went to throw the knife in her hand, only to freeze in place. "HEY! What gives?!"
"Sans, you doing that?" Frisk asked with surprise, as she looked at her skeleton husband, seeing his black eyes reflecting surprise as well.
"No, I'm not," he answered before everyone heard the crunch of the snow beside them. They looked over as Dawn started walking forward, her blue eyes now pure white, no iris or pupil to be seen.
"Dawn?" Jack spoke with worry as she was slowly walking towards Chara, a white glow now being seen around her.
"Hey! Let me-!"
"Dusk...hold still," Dawn whispered before swiping her arms to the right and spinning as she landed on one knee with her arms in almost like a dab position, making the white glow separate from Chara and having the virus that was the genocide run of Undertale disintegrate. And in her place, was another blond haired girl but with red eyes and wearing all black.
"WHOA!" Cliff yelled with surprise as Dawn stood up and her eyes were back to their blue color. She turned towards Dusk and backed up some to make sure she didn't get hurt.
"Dusk,"
"Dusk? Isn't that-!" Jenny began to say when Dawn put a hand up to quiet her down.
"My dark side's name, yes. But I never thought she was real!"
"Oh, I'm real, love," Dusk began with a smirk. "And I'm quite surprised you figured me out. But just you wait...I won't be so easy the next time." And with that, Dusk disappeared in a puff of black smoke with her evil laugh echoing through the trees.
"The heck just happened?!" Cliff yelled as Jack ran up to Dawn, catching her as she was about to fall and making her look at him.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, just a little tired all of a sudden."
"Why don't we head to Snowdin then?" Frisk began. "You can rest at the Inn there."
"Thanks, but I should be-"
"Dawn, listen to her and rest in Snowdin...you need it!" Jack exclaimed, which made everyone look at him with surprise. Dawn even looked shocked, but grinned at his worry. She may not have known him personally for so long, but she felt like she knew him for ages. Maybe it was because liked watching his videos a lot, she didn't know. But she was glad to call him a friend now.
Almost after being told to go rest, she felt dizzy again, and leaned into Jack's hold to steady herself. All she could think of to say was: "Okay"
