Caleb hummed to himself as he waited for his microwave dinner to finish. Frenzy snickered at him and he glared back. He was never leaving that gremlin home by himself again. The worst part was he still couldn't find where Frenzy had put his underwear. He shuddered, then settled down in front of the tv with his food as Frenzy browsed Netflix.

All was calm for about five seconds before a loud screech caused the two to jump. Caleb ran to the garage door and peeked out. "What the frag Cade!"

Barricade shuttered before his holoform, a man appearing to be in his early twenties with dark brown hair, tanned skin, and maroon eyes, appeared. "I... I detected an Autobot life signal not far from here..."

Caleb opened the door the rest of the way, mouth slightly agape. "WHAT!"

Frenzy ran over and climbed up on to Barricade's shoulder "W-which Autob-bot wa-as it?"

Barricade gave him a strange look. "Why are you on my shoulder?" The tiny mech just shrugged, wearing a grin. " And to answer you question, I believe it was... aw slag."

Caleb got over the shock and went right into mother hen mode, ushering the two inside, out of the cold garage, and onto the couch. Barricade, who'd only actually been in Caleb's house once or twice, sat down awkwardly. Frenzy, on the other hand, curled up next to him. Caleb locked the door and started pacing. The two watched him walk back and forth.

"Another transformer, and an Autobot to boot. Great, juuuust great. Wonder how an Autobot got here, would've made more sense for another Decepticon, since we know they're working on ground bridge tech. But an Autobot?"

Barricade cleared his throat. "Actually, we had detected one of the Autobot scientists not far from the earth right before my... incident and ending up here. Hmmm, I believe his name was... Wheeljack?"

"Well that makes sense, Wheeljack's inventions almost never work, er, immediately of course." Caleb stopped pacing for a second to rub his chin. "I wonder if the stranded bot would be willing for a temporary truce, one they see you're not really up to anything and there's not an intergalactic war going on in this reality."

"Probably not, knowing him." Barricade shook his head. "The said bot stuck here is the trigger happy one, Ironhide ring a bell?"

Caleb stared at him. "Oh you are so fragged Cade. What are we supposed to do now! And we don't even now where he is!"

Cade cringed. "Er, actually, if you would've let me finish-" Caleb glared daggers at him and Cade cringed harder "-I was going to say he's only about 32 miles due northwest of here, and has probably already detected my signal if he's alert enough."

Caleb stood stock still. Barricade and Frenzy looked at each other, before Frenzy looked at Caleb again. "Is t-the hum-man gli-itch-hed?" Neither had to worry for long though, because soon Caleb started spout out a long list of words.

"Fragging son of a no good slagging glitch from the pit, we are so slagged,-"

"Caleb, watch your language, there's a child here!"

"Frenzy isn't a child, Cade!"

Will looked mouth hanging open into the barn. Ironhide was sitting on a pile of hay, talking to... the horse?

"And that wasn't even the worst of it! The the other slagging twins, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, decided that I should have some glitter!" He huffed in triumph. "That gave them some brig time, too bad they'll never learn their lesson." The horse whinnied, and Ironhide smirked. "Well of course I showed them up! Nothing beats my canons and-"

Will cleared his throat, and Ironhide jumped. "Oh, er, hey Will. When did you come in?"

Will snickered. "You know Hide, you could've just commed me if you wanted to talk to someone."

Ironhide grunted out of embarrassment. "Uh, I, er, thought you were busy?" Will wasn't buying it. "Fine, the horse or whatever is a great listener, ok?"

Will chuckled.

Suddenly, Ironhide sat up stock still as Riley walked in. "Hey guys, what's going-"

"WILL!"

The two humans and the horse jumped in surprise. Will stuttered. "Uh, what is it Hide?"

Ironhide quickly stood up, almost hitting his head on the barn roof. "I've just detected a Decepticon signal less then 35 miles away!"

Both the humans looked up. "WHAT!?"

"That's impossible!" Riley started. "I've lived here for years and haven't even seen one!" The two looked at her skeptically. "What, I know what trouble they'd cause thank you very much!"

Will sighed, then looked up at his partner. "Do you know which con it could be?"

Ironhide was still for a moment before shaking his head. "That's not possible, I killed him..."

"What, who is it Hide?" Will looked up expectantly and Ironhide, waiting for an answer.

"It... it's Barricade."

Riley began coughing violently, she regretted taking a sip of her drink. "BARRICADE!? How?! I would've recognized him if I saw him, plus like I said, there hasn't been any explosions around here lately. You sure you've got the right con?"

Ironhide glared slightly at her. "Yes I'm sure! Believe me, I'm having trouble believing he's here too. I killed him with my own two cannons durning the Mission City battle, how in the pit did he get here!?"

Will quickly grabbed his gun from the barn floor. "Either way Hide, we'd better go check it out."

Ironhide grunted and transformed into a GMC Topick. Just as Will hopped in and was about to shut the door, Riley cleared her throat. "Um, could I come?" She could tell Will was about to protest, so she continued. "You don't know if all the roads are the same, plus I've been here longer. Also, since Barricade is one of the only cons I can tolerate, you might need some help reigning in Mr. Shoot first ask later."

"Fine," Will sighed in defeat and Riley squeaked and hopped into the passenger seat. "Just try to stay out of trouble."

"This is a bad idea..." Hide grumbled.

Will patted his dash. "I know Hide, I know. Let's just get this over with then."

Ironhide pulled out of the barn and down the driveway. They were off.

Hey, guess who isn't dead!? (Dodges tomatoes) Okay, okay, I deserve those, but don't worry, I'm actually going to try and update my stories at least once every two months (dodges another tomato) Hey, I know I'll probably forget to but hey, I'm going to try.

So the reason I stopped updating my docs was mostly because I haven't been feeling as connected to this fandom as I used to. Add that to the stress of school and social life, and I didn't really have the desire to write anything, at all. But do not fear, from now on I shall try to update all my fics by Christmas! (Dodges more tomatoes) Oh come on, I actually have the next chapter of Second chance ready, just gotta type it up. Anywho, bye!
