"C'mon, Charmander. Let's go."
"Cha?" The orange lizard asked its trainer.
"Red and Green are going out somewhere, so I thought we should do something together for once."
"Cha~" Charmander agreed and follow Blue downstairs his room, outside his house, and into Route One. The trees in that area smelled of pine, and the sun was pleasantly warm, especially to be outside in. Blue walked down the path, and went into Viridian City. Blue actually grew up on Cinnabar, but moved to Pallet, and then soon Viridian City. He and Daisy only moved back a little over a month ago to Pallet. Charmander suddenly sneezed, as he blew an average, typical weed plant with those flying dust-like particles, and the fire lizard happened to inhale one in.
Blue knelt down and pet his head gently. "You okay there, Charcoal?" Blue didn't exactly nickname his Pokémon, but this Charmander had a tendency of burning wood and turning it into charcoal, so sometimes, Blue would call this Pokémon 'Charcoal'. He walked down the sandy path and was greeted by the old man who lived above the gym.
"Hello there, sonny!"
"Hey, Mr. Banks."
"Blue, is that you?"
Blue let out a soft chuckle. "Yes, it's Blue."
"I'm growing old, haha. Where ya headed off to?"
"Just Viridian Forest, sir."
"Alright then, you be safe, in that case."
"Bye, Mr. Banks!" Blue waved and continued walking down the path.
"Have fun!" Blue soon got out of the city and into the route connecting the city and the forest. A few Pidgey flew up past the trainer and the Pokémon. "The flock's really coming in, huh?" The sun blinded his clear hazel eyes, so he put a hand over them to shade them out. "Let's go, Charcoal." Blue and Charcoal made it into the connecting building and into the natural maze named Viridian Forest. Blue walked down the grassy path, along with his Charmander. Blue inhaled the fresh air, and exhaled deeply. The forest smelled of pine, fresh and cool. Blue continued walking, along with Charcoal, until they reached a lake, basically the heart of the forest, no pun intended. He sat down with his back against a tree, that shaded most of his body, except maybe his boots. Charcoal sat down next to him, curling up with his head on his master's lap. Blue closed his hazel-blue eyes, and fell asleep.
It was already afternoon. Blue had slept for about three hours. He probably would've slept for longer if he wasn't rudely awakened by his cellphone. Poor Charcoal got so surprised that he burnt Blue's scarf in cinders and charred fabric pieces.
"Ugh, who's calling, dammit?" Blue groaned taking out his cellphone. It was Red. What did he want?
"Blue." He picked up.
"Hey man, what's up?" Red greeted him.
"Well, you made Charcoal burn up my favorite scarf. What about you?"
"Heh, sorry man. I'm just back from the park with Green and you're not at home or Pallet. Where are you?"
"Haha, nope. Not telling you."
"Why?" Red whined like a three-year-old.
"What, so you can annoy the crap outta me? No thanks. This is Blue's day. Now fuck off."
"Wait, no!"
"Bye." Blue hung up. Red had already told every little detail of Mt. Silver that there is to know and see. That was boring, and clearly annoying.
"Got rid of that. Now, we should probably head back, anyways, Charcoal." Blue said lazily, getting up and stretching out his arms and legs a little bit. Charcoal followed him, walking right next to him. They soon got out of that maze-forest and got back on Route One. Blue and Charcoal walked back, jumping down from ledges that for some reason were made impossible to climb, even though they weren't any taller than Blue. Then, they were back in Pallet. And Blue was rudely greeted by a glomp from behind.
"Gah, what the hell?!" Blue cursed, still trying to figure out who in the actual hell was glomping him out of no where.
"Where were you, Bluey~? It's not nice to make you're besties worry, you meanie~!" Green said, pretty much hopping on Blue, making him carry her.
"Well excuse me , princess. Didn't know I could only stay in town." Blue huffed, about to put her down until, I'm not even exaggerating, Red glomped him from the side. Poor Blue just fell over from all that weight! Green was behind him, having her arm wrapped around his waist, Red was on top of him, burying his face in the remains of his scarf.
".. Both of you idiots have three seconds to get the hell off me." Blue grumbled. Green instantly got up, but Red didn't seem to take him seriously. Three seconds was up. Blue shoved him off and looked about ready to punch him. Green hugged him from behind.
"Settle down, you big meanie~." Green smiled, letting go and helping Red up.
"Yeah, well you two lovebirds have fun. I'm going home." The word lovebirds made both Red and Green blush profusely and look at each other.
"B-Bluey-kun! It's not what you think!" The pale brunette exclaimed, shaking her hands in front of her.
"Y-Yeah, don't get the wrong idea, man!" Too late, sucker. Blue had already left.
"Eh, heheh...," started Green nervously. What made her blush even more was that the raven-head grabbed her hand and pulled her into a warm hug. Her face turned bright red like a cherry. Red smiled and held her shoulders, pushing her back a little bit.
"Hey, let's walk somewhere, okay?"
"O-Okay!" Green smiled back and nodded. Little did they know, that Blue was smirking at them from his window.
"And they say they're not in love." Blue stated, petting Charcoal on his head. "C'mon boy. We should get some sleep." Blue walked towards his bed, and fell asleep.
Yeah, I've gotten so lazy, sheesh. But yeah, here's the next chapter to Always. I hate the name, but I can't think of anything better. But anyways, please leave a review and rate it if you liked it, loved it, or hated it. Always appreciated. Bye~.
