I look at the baby and smile. He coos at me. I give him back to Beatrice. She spends a lot of time with him and spoils him with toys and gifts. I sometimes play with him. But Nathan won't be anywhere near him. He still won't warm up to Beatrice. Beatrice doesn't care though. She'd rather not have Nathan around him either. Me, oh, I spent a lot of time with the little sucker. When our parents were at work, I would have the responsibility to take care of Noah. Me and him, we are like best friends. When we went out to the park to get Noah to meet some friends, he would either hide behind Beatrice's leg, or mine. It's cute actually. He eventually made friends with a toddler from Oasis Springs. She has an older brother that immediately I had a crush on. "Hi. Brody and Page Ortega." The boy says. "Nyla and Noah Benson." I say smiling . He smiles back. "Nice to meet you." He shakes my hand . "N-Nice to m-meet you t-t-too.." I say blushing after the handshake. He laughs. " Go on Page. Go play with the nice little boy. " Page babbles at Noah and they run off to the ball pit laughing. "So, wanna talk?" Brody asks . "Sure. While I have the chance." I tell him. He'll be moving back soon. We communicate about school and teachers and bullies. I love how I can relate to others. Especially Brody. I hear a Man call Brody angrily. We both turn around. A woman has Page on her shoulders, and the man has his fists balled up. "Hurry up!" He says and looks at me in hatred . I look at him afraid. The man and woman leave. "Well better get going. My family's waiting" Brody says . We both get up. "Ok. See ya." I say . He hugs me and then runs off. I sigh and go to the playground.
I sit on the bark. I didn't know one of my bullies, Rebecca, and her posse were behind me. Rachel and Regina were her "best friends" . At least Regina. Rachel was a toy that Rebecca liked to play with. Rebecca pulls my hair. "Look girls. It's the loser." She says . "I can tell because of the ugly ass hair and the stench!" The girls laugh. I stand and try to leave . Rebecca and Regina jump in front of me. "Where do you think your going?!" Regina says. I look away and don't speak . Regina pulls my face. "Answer me bitch!" She says. I still don't say talk. She slaps me so hard I fall onto the ground. "Why can't you leave me alone?!" I yell with tears falling down my face . "Because." Rebecca says pulling me by the shirt . She uses her finger to raise my face and force to looks at her. "It's fun to see insignificant people like you suffer." She pushes me back onto the ground. "Girls, kick her for me. I'm tired." Rebecca orders . She always was spoiled and got what she wanted. Regina and Rachel kick me. I tell them to stop, but they wouldn't listen. " Alright stop. I'm bored. " Rebecca says. Let's go. She walks behind Rachel and Regina, gives me one last cocky look, and leaves. I curl up into a ball and cry. After I'm done, I go back home. As I reach to open the front door, I stop. Noah!
