A month had passed since Luno's disappearance. Cris was on edge, constantly training. He had been testing his compatibility with different Imperial Arms they had on hand. None of them seemed to work, but he knew which one would. Magna Scriptor.

Aime was training him in strength and hand to hand combat. Surprisingly, for a bigger guy, Aime was very fast and flexible. Lucarella was teaching him the ways of stealth and assassination, something Cris had only seen on a mission he accompanied Lucarella and Megumi with sometime.

Cris did not like killing people, but it was as Akame had said: After the first kill it gets easier.

I can't let it get to me though. He would think to himself. I'll end up crazed for blood.

Splayd was teaching Cris how to relax when it's needed (don't tell Akame or Gerald). All the while, Akame would tell Cris about what she could remember about her days with Night Raid.

She had begun with the day she had met Tatsumi.

"Tell me miss, who are you?" The menacing voice came.

I thought for a long while. Who am I? L, it starts with an L. Maybe.

This had been going on for about twenty meals from the maroon haired girl who brings me food. She calls me Madam. Is that my name?

"Is my name 'Madam'?" I ask.

I hear a chuckle. Is this man laughing at me?

"I think I will call you," The voice stops for a moment, "Yvonne."

Yvonne? Is my name Yvonne? It doesn't feel right but it's all I have.

"What do I do?" I asked, wanting to know more from this man.

"Remove your collar," He said.

My collar? I feel at the leather that has been around my neck for as long as I can remember, which is not long. I shake my head and do as he says.

It feels foreign, and I feel naked without it, but I place it on the table and look forward. The door opens, and a man is pushed in.

His arms were tied behind his back, and his eyes were blindfolded. The front of his shirt was covered in a brownish substance that gave a strange smell of metal. He was wondering and shaking like an animal.

"Now, Yvonne," The man's voice said from somewhere, "This man has committed a crime and sentenced to death. This crime was against me, the one who has been allowing you to live in my home."

Death? Why is he telling me this?

"What I want you to do, Yvonne, is kill him."

Kill him? How?

"Use the knife on the table," The bound man straightened up and started to cry, "And drag the blade across his neck."

"I-Isn't this wrong?" I asked. I don't know what made me say that, but this felt strange.

"No, no my dear," The man had a reassuring tone that calmed me down, "All you're doing is making him sleep. Now please, make him sleep."

Making him sleep. I smile and remove his blindfold.

"P-Please let me go Madam!" The bound man said, water streaming down his face.

"My name isn't Madam," I say as I stand and go to pick up the knife.

He sniffles and begins murmuring something about a man in the sky. What's the sky?

I take the knife and place it against the side of his neck. Now slide it all the way across and he'll fall asleep! I think happily.

"Sweet dreams mister!" I say as I drag the knife across his neck until I reach the other side.

A bright red liquid begins to spurt from his neck, getting on my hands and the dress the nice maid brought me. I look at it as it drips from my fingers and decide to taste it.

Kinda tastes like metal. It's weird but I like it.

"What is this stuff Mister?" I ask the sleeping man. He only answered with some weird sounds and then silence.

"That is blood," The other man's voice came, "A sort of liquid that some sleeping people leave as they sleep. It's a lot like drool but tastier."

I smile. I made the man happy! He's someone I can trust, like the nice maid who likes to bite my shoulders and stuff!

"Master?" I ask, "What's the outside look like?"

"Where did 'Master' come from?" He asked before answering my question, "Would you like to see?"

I nod quickly, "Yes! Yes I really do!"

I reached over and grabbed the collar and carefully put it on so it fit tight against my skin. But not too tight, if it's too tight that's a bad thing. I then skipped happily to look at the dress I was wearing. It was originally pure white but now there was that "blood" stuff all over it.

I hope the nice maid won't be too mad. I think to myself as I step carefully over the sleeping man to stand in front of the door with my hands behind my back.

It opened slowly to reveal the nice maid and a very tall man. I smile happily at the nice maid, who smiles happily back. In her arms was a fresh dress, this one was a light grey like the walls around me but lighter.

The man stayed in the doorway as the maid helped me change. I blushed as her hands moved around my body, cleaning my chest where the blood had gotten. I stared into her eyes as she helped me put on my panties. Then she pulled the dress over my head and tightened it when it was all the way on. Lastly, she did something she's never done before and pressed her lips to mine.

She pulled away and licked her lips, "If you pass this test, Yvee, I might be able to stay with you tonight," She whispered in my ear.

I nodded and gulped, looking at the man. Is that him? He's not as cute as the maid. I like her better.

He was smiling, before he stepped back and into the darkness, "Mai," He said as he left, "Bring her to the dining room."

"Yes Master," Mai said, taking my hand and leading me out of the room I had been in for this whole time. Out into the world I can't remember if I had even been there.

Mai led me through a dark tunnel that emerged to a staircase that went in circles a lot. We had been going up the stairs for a while until we reached a doorway. Before she opened the door, Mai turned around and pressed our lips together again then put her finger against my lips.

"Bite me, Yvee," She said, blushing really hard, "Please bite me, I can't wait."

I open my mouth and allow her to slide her finger into my mouth, before clamping my teeth down. I had it the way she liked it, biting hard but not so hard to hurt her too much. Mai was making noises now, her eyes closed.

I smile. Something about her being like this makes me happy. She pulls her finger away and does the lip thing again and smiles.

Afterwards, Mai brought me to a long table. Master was sitting at one end, and I was led to the other. I sat and stared in awe at the food laid out in front of me. The only thing I could smell was at the middle of the table. It was rectangular, and smelled like Hamburg Steak but sweeter.

"What is that?" I asked Mai, pointing to the good smelling stuff.

"That is your favorite food, Madam," She said, "Meatloaf."

My stomach rumbled and my mouth began to water. I wanted to try it.

"Before we begin to eat," Master said from the other end, "There is something I would like to try."

I look up at him. He's grinning, and it's kinda scary, "What is it?"

"Try not to squirm too much," He stood. I felt hands grab me from either side, forcing my hands down. I look to see it's two men with some kind of dark thing covering their eyes. They take some sort of cloth and strap my arms to the chair, then turn me so I'm facing a doorway.

Master is standing in the doorway, something silver shining in his hand. I try to look for Mai, but she is nowhere to be seen. I look forward and see that he's walking toward me now, wiping the shiny thing with a small thin rag.

Master was right in front of me now. I could see the object was some sort of circular spike, shining in the dim lighting. I struggled with my restraints, utterly terrified of the man in front of me.

"Please try to keep screaming to a minimum, this might sting a little," Master flipped the spike in his hand, before removing a knife from his belt. He brought the knife to my dress and sliced it upwards between my breasts. He then pushed the knife into my skin, right below where my collar bone meets my ribcage, and made a small dot of cut flesh.

I wince, but not much else. I look down and see the red liquid seeping from the wound. But I'm not happy or sleeping! I thought, tears coming to my eyes.

He pressed the tip of the spike to the dot and pushed slightly. It hurt really badly, and I gasped.

"Now you better hope, for both our sakes, that I don't miss!"

The metal just barely pushed into my skin felt as if it were singing every part of my chest. Master pulled it away, grinning widely as he slammed the item into my chest.

The only thing I remember was that it burnt like nothing I had ever experienced before.
