Power Rangers
Chasers v Phantoms

Episode 4: Blue Justice

Long ago, the thief that would become known as Don Lupin assembled items that would become known as the Collection; however, one day they fell into our dimension. The organization known as the GPO was founded in order to gather and protect these items, and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.

There exists those who seek to gain the Collection's power for themselves; for you see, legend has it that if all the pieces are gather together, a wish will be granted. Now, two teams of Power Rangers fight each other as well as the monsters known as Ganglers. All three factions have the same goal-to claim the Collection as their own.

There's the justice-seeking Chasers who work for the GPO, and the Collection-stealing thieves known as Phantoms who seek to rise to the top of a society they feel has wronged them.

Only one question remains… WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?

Aster City (Day Time)

The air was still inside the Oath, and the Phantoms waited with bated breath as their rivals, the Chasers, stepped inside.

Katie was worried that they had been caught, and the possibility of being swarmed by police shook her to her very core.

Lance simply smiled, putting on the front that he hadn't a care in the world. At the same time, he subtly scanned the shop, looking for possible avenues of escape just in case.

Reginald only felt anger; the police officers were standing before him, and all he wanted was to knock them out and steal their Collection pieces.

He didn't like cops, and seeing them made his blood boil. Soon however, their question was answered when the one in green waved at them with a smile and said, "This is the Oath, right? Coffee shop and book store?"

Lance quickly snapped back to reality, realizing that they were simply there to drink coffee and maybe read a book. Clasping his hands together with a smile of his own, he addressed them by saying, "Of course, come on in! Grab a seat, we'd be honored to serve some of the city's finest."

Katie ran to get menus while Reginald retreated to the coffee bar, not wishing to interact with them. The green one smiled once again before saying, "Thank you so much! We just got done with a long shift and we needed a pick me up."

Lance laughed; the green one seemed much easier to talk to than the other two, who were talking amongst themselves at the moment. With this in mind, Lance introduced himself to them by saying, "Where are my manners? My name is Lance Brooks, I'm the Manager here."

Katie rolled her eyes at the statement, gaining a grin from Lance.

"Our lovely waitress here is Katie Green," He continued, gesturing towards the girl. Turning to look at Reginald, he added, "And the one hiding behind the counter is Reginald Burns, he's a pretty nice guy. Word of advice though-don't call him Reggie, he hates that."

Hearing this, Reginald flipped him the bird. Letting out a bit of a laugh, Lance turned back to their trio of customers and said, "See? Told ya,"

The one in green smiled, finding Lance's antics rather amusing. He then introduced himself by saying, "I'm Thomas Walsh," Lance shook his hand and Katie proceeded to take his order; the Red Ranger couldn't help but notice the way the Green Ranger was looking at his yellow teammate.

Interesting, He thought to himself.

Turning to the one in pink, he said, "And you are?"

Looking up from her conversation with her red counterpart, she replied, "Abigail Bailey, but you can just call me Abby."

Lance nodded before looking to the one in red; he was attractive, but serious, which he picked up on almost immediately.

"Well, I guess that leaves you, handsome," Lance said with a grin. "And you are?"

Without even looking up at him, the man replied, "Coffee, black,"

Tilting his head in slight confusion, Lance replied with, "Excuse me…?"

The man looked up and furrowed his eyebrows in annoyance. He then spoke rather rudely, saying, "This is a coffee shop, right? Well that's how I want my coffee,"

Lance looked at him, totally perplexed. Shaking it off, he looked to Katie and said, "Uh, okay then...Katie, can you go give their orders to Reginald?"

Abby sighed. Looking up at Lance, she said, "Sorry about Keith, he's a bit grumpy."

Lance waved it off and walked away, going far away enough that they would think he couldn't hear while still being close enough to eavesdrop on them.

A few seconds later, he heard Keith say, "I'm still annoyed about what happened in battle,"

"I know, but remember what your dad said," Abby told him.

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Keith came storming into the Command Center, annoyed that Good Striker had helped the thieves. He approached his father, wanting answers.

"Sir what the hell was that?!" He demanded. "Why would a Striker help those thieves?"

Henry simply shrugged and replied with, "Unfortunately Keith, I don't really have an answer for you. All Strikers are different, and the only one who would really know the answer to that question is Travis."

Keith let out a sigh, just as his two teammates rushed into the Command Center, looking just as confused as he is. Out of nowhere, Good Striker entered the base.

"Good Striker here, coming in to say hi!" He chirped, somehow not picking up on the moody atmosphere in the room.

Thomas looked at the sentient Collection item and said, "Goodie, why did you help those guys?"

Before Goodie could answer, Keith yelled at him, saying, "You're supposed to help us, not them!"

Goodie glanced around the room, not really knowing how to answer. He then replied with, "I don't know, those guys gave me a good vibe so I decided to help them. I don't really think much about stuff like that, I just go with the flow."

Keith scoffed at the answer. "Why would Travis make something so useless?" He muttered under his breath.

Feeling rather awkward, Thomas changed the subject by saying, "Hey, so we just got off a long shift. Why don't we go blow off some steam by grabbing some coffee?"

Abby looked at the rookie and chimed in, saying, "Coffee?"

"Yeah!" Thomas chirped, sounding excited. "I keep hearing about this great coffee shop called the Oath that doubles as a bookstore, we should go check it out!"

Abby sighed; while she wanted to turn down his suggestion, she had to admit that coffee actually sounded kinda good. Shrugging her shoulders, she replied, "Sure, why not?"

Keith opened his mouth to refuse, but before he could Henry cut him off by saying, "That sounds like a great idea! Go get some coffee, and make sure to bring me back something sweet!"

Before he could protest, Abby grabbed him by the hand and began dragging him out of the Command Center. Resigning himself to his fate, Keith sighed, and together the three made their way out into the city in order to get some coffee.

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Present

Having eavesdropped on their conversation, Lance smirked to himself; it was good to know that the little robot wasn't entirely loyal to their rivals. It might not always want to help them, but Lance was grateful for whatever help he and his team could get.

Walking out from behind the counter, Katie carried their customers' orders to their table. Setting the tray down, she walked away, much to the disappointment of Thomas who looked as if he'd wanted to strike up a conversation with her.

Watching all three of them enjoying their coffee (including Keith), Lance elbowed Reginald lightly and whispered to him, "What do you know? This gig might work out for us after all,"

However, Reginald did not respond. Instead, he stared out a nearby window, seemingly deep in thought...

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

The Deep South (2 Years Ago)

The coffee shop was alive and booming as people waited on line, enjoying the smell of coffee as one man behind the counter was working hard to make everyone's order.

Taking his finished order as the bearded man behind the counter handed it to him, the man in the front of the line said, "Hey, thanks Reggie! There's no way I'd wait on this line if it wasn't for your coffee,"

Reggie smiled to himself as the customer left; he'd been working there for a little over a year now, and while he still aspired to one day work in a restaurant, in that moment he was content.

The customers had grown to love his coffee, as he had painstakingly modified the recipe until even the biggest coffee haters enjoyed it. His coworkers loved him for his upbeat attitude, and his boss respected his excellent work ethic. This may not have been his forever job, but Reggie was still very content with where he was in life.

Later on, after the line had died down and the rush of customers came to a halt, his boss stuck his head out and called him into his office. Reggie felt somewhat nervous-it usually wasn't a good thing for the boss to wanna see you in their office. However, he made sure to keep an optimistic look on his face despite himself.

Walking into the office, he called out, "You wanted to see me, boss?"

The older man silently gestured for him to have a seat. Sitting down in the chair, Reggie said, "What's this about?"

The boss finally spoke up, saying, "Reggie, you've been working here a little over a year now, and everybody loves you. Your coffee's great, your coworkers love working with you, and frankly you're just an awesome worker."

Reggie was unsure where this was going as the boss paused. Finally after what seemed like an eternity, he continued with, "That's why I've decided to make you assistant manager." Reggie couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"Really?!" He exclaimed, unable to contain his excitement.

"Yeah, really," His boss nodded in confirmation, giving the younger man a smile. "Starting tomorrow, I'll be training you to help me run the place."

Reggie couldn't stop thanking the boss and shaking his hand; this elicited a laugh from the older man.

"I'm glad you're excited, Reggie. Tell you what, take the rest of the day off. I'm sure you'll wanna tell your fiance."

Reggie nodded and went out the door, leaving the office and heading for the back room where he changed out of his uniform. Clocking out, he left the shop for the day, totally oblivious to the fact that he was being watched...

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

When Reggie told his fiance Jasmine about his promotion, she couldn't hide her pride, insisting they should go out to celebrate. Since they couldn't afford to go out to eat at some big expensive restaurant, they instead opted for pizza and a movie.

Both of them loved Disney movies, so they went to go see the latest one. Once the movie was over, the couple exited the theater while talking and giggling amongst one another. Turning his head, Reggie noticed a group of people giving him and his fiance dirty looks.

As a black man who had been born and raised in a southern town, Reggie had long-since grown used to receiving looks like these. In addition to this, Jasmine was Muslim, so the two were unfortunately accustomed to people turning their heads and scowling at them wherever they went.

They both just took it in stride, choosing to see the best in people despite this. Walking down the street, they simply enjoyed eachother's company. Stroking his face, Jasmine teased him by saying, "So now that you're assistant manager you're gonna shave this thing off, right?"

Reggie laughed at his fiance's remark before saying, "What, you don't like the beard? I think it makes me look good," The two laughed, and Reggie wrapped his arm around his fiance as they continued to walk down the sidewalk. "You know, now that I'm making more money we'll be able to afford a big fancy wedding and a house of our own."

Jasmine smiled and kissed his cheek. "You know I don't need that stuff to make me happy. I don't care how big our wedding is or where we live, as long as I have you."

Turning the corner, they walked down an alleyway towards their apartment, not realizing they had been surrounded by about ten brutish looking men until it was already too late.

Reggie stepped forward, standing in front of his fiance. He then greeted the men nervously, saying, "Evening, gents. Nice night, isn't it?"

The leader of the men laughed and said, "Indeed it is, boy...it's not gonna be that nice of a night for you and your lady friend, though?"

Realizing they were in very real danger, Reggie grabbed Jasmine's hand and pulled her with him as he backed up, and together the two turned to leave the alley. However, their path was blocked by another group of people, one of which grabbed Reggie by the arm and roughly pulled him away from his fiance. Clenching his fist, Reggie threw a punch at the man in an attempt to break free of his grip, but his attacker blocked said punch with ease before kicking him down to the ground.

Landing on the ground with his back to the pavement, Reggie sat helplessly as the men surrounded him and began to kick and stomp on him repeatedly. Behind him, he could hear Jasmine screaming his name at the top of her lungs, but he couldn't see what was happening to her.

Reggie struggled to remain conscious, but eventually the pain became too much for him to bear and he lost that struggle, slipping into unconscious as his fiance's cries echoed in his mind...

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Aster City(Present Day)

Reginald felt himself brought back to reality by someone shaking him. Blinking his eyes open and closed several times, he turned to see Lance, who was looking at him in slight concern. "Hey Reginald, you okay man? Everything alright?"

"Huh..? Oh, y-yeah, I'm fine," He lied, shaking his head in order to clear his thoughts. "Sorry, I must've spaced out or something."

"Yeah, a little. You've been standing there for almost ten minutes," Lance told him. "Anyway, glad to see you're okay. The cops left, by the way. I'm hoping they come in more often, it'd be a nice way to get information off of them."

Reginald turned his attention to the dining room, seeing that the Chasers had indeed left the Oath. Turning to Lance, he said, "So you just let them leave?"

"Of course," Lance told him, furrowing his eyebrows. "Why wouldn't we?"

"What do you mean? We had them right here, we could've barricaded them and taken their Collection pieces!" Reginald shouted. "Were you even thinking?!"

Putting a hand on his shoulder, Lance attempted to talk him down by saying, "Woah there, buddy. As much as I would love to get rid of any obstacle in our way, you heard Krim. We can't mess with them."

Shrugging Lance's hand off of his shoulder rather roughly, Reginald folded his arms and scoffed, "You really think I'm scared of what some cops will do? Please,"

"According to Krim, we should be," Lance pointed out. "Now calm down, man. This isn't like you."

"Whatever," Reginald scoffed. Taking a deep breath, he glanced over at a metal staircase in the back of the room before saying, "I need a nap,"

With that, he stormed upstairs, leaving Lance and Katie alone to worry about their blue teammate...

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Aster City(Morning)

The next day, Reginald had calmed down. Now, the team was heading to where a Gangler attack had been reported; they had reasoned that they could just take its Collection piece and then leave actually defeating the monster to the Chasers.

Arriving at the scene already morphed and ready to go, they watched as the Gangler wreaked havoc. Firing missiles everywhere and catching several things on fire, the monster watched as civilians ran away in terror. Letting out a hearty laugh, it shouted, "Hahaha, that's right humans! Run away, or I, Gatto Depyro, will burn you all to a crisp!"

As he continued to laugh and gloat over the scared civilians, he was shot by something. "Hey, who did that?!"

Moment later, the Phantoms rushed into the area, and Phantom Red waved at the monster before saying, "That would be us,"

The Gangler scoffed before saying, "And just who are you three?

Phantom Red simply laughed and said, "We're the ones who are gonna take your treasure!"

With that, they began fighting their way towards him, but were unable to close in thanks to his fire. As they struggled to break through his defense, they were interrupted by the arrival of the Chasers.

"Hold it right there, Gangler!" Chaser 1 hollered, leading the charge. "You're under arrest!"

With that, the Chasers got to work, seemingly ignoring the Phantoms. Chaser 1 began to bark out orders, saying, "2, put those fires out! 3, help evacuate these civilians! I'll keep the kitty cat under control!"

His two teammates nodded in acknowledge of his orders. They then split off in order to perform crowd control, as Chaser 1 got to work, attempting to apprehend the Gangler. The Phantoms opted to stay back, wanting to see the outcome.

After a few minutes, Blue began to grow restless; he wanted to take care of the Chasers once and for all. Turning towards Chaser 2, he proceeded to stomp his way over to him, ignoring Red and Yellow as they yelled at him.

Only noticing Blue's presence once he was towering over him, Chaser 2 said, "Hey, you're one of those thieves! What do you want?"

Instead of responding, Blue opted to knock the less experience Ranger to the ground. He then pointed his morpher at him and said, "Your Collection pieces, give 'em to me!"

Before he could take further action however, Blue felt a blow to the back of his head and immediately fell unconscious. Chaser 2 watched in confusion as Blue sunk to the ground, revealing his savior to be none other than Phantom Red.

"Don't look at me like that, I'm not doing this for you," The enemy Red Ranger said harshly. Scooping Blue up off the ground and carrying him bridal style, he said, "He just needs to cool off."

With that, he took off, leaving the scene of the fight. Yellow followed closely behind, and the two headed to a nearby alley where they demorphed once they were out of sight.

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Aster City (A year and a half ago)

Reggie opened his eyes to see a bright light shining in his face. Spending the next few seconds with his eyebrows furrowed in confusion, he came to the assumption that he must've died and gone to heaven. However, this illusion was broken when he heard someone yell, "Doctor, come quick! He's waking up!"

Reggie's vision then began to clear, and he found himself in a hospital bed with a nurse looking down at him. Giving him a small smile, the young woman said, "Hello Reggie, how are you feeling?"

"I feel...fine," Reggie said rather dismissively. "Where am I…?"

Frowning a bit, the nurse replied, "I'll have to let Doctor Price tell you that,"

Soon enough an older looking doctor walked into the room. Smiling down at him, he said, "Well Reggie, it's nice to see you're awake."

"Doctor Price, was it? Where am I..?"

The Doctor frowned before saying, "Well Reggie, you're in the hospital. You've been in a coma for six months."

"Six months…?" Reggie questioned, looking rather shocked. "Where's Jasmine?!"

Sitting up in bed, he looked to the Doctor and his eyes widened as he said, "Doctor these men attacked us. Where is my fiance?!"

Letting out a bit of a sigh, Doctor Price replied with, "Well, she...she's not in a coma like you, but she still had it worse. The uh...the beating was so bad that she lost the use of both of her legs."

"What? Where is she?!"

"Her family took her to a hospital in another state hoping to get her better treatment. Unfortunately, they...they were very upset, and her father blamed you, so they didn't want you to know where they took her."

Reggie hung his head in shame; Jasmine's father had never liked him, thinking he was was going nowhere and only drew unwanted attention to his daughter.

Patting him on the shoulder , Doctor Price said, "I know this has been a traumatic experience for you, but I need to let you know that the police are coming. They wanna ask you some questions and see if they can identify who did this to you."

Reggie nodded in understanding. He then waited for the police to arrive.

After what felt like the longest hour of his life, the police arrived. However to his horror, the two police officers that weren't sent to question him were two of the men that had attacked him.

One of the two corrupt officers gave him a fake smile before turning to the medical team and saying, "Would you mind leaving the room for a minute? The patient's been through a lot of trauma and we feel it'd be better if we questioned him in private.

The Doctor and his nurses nodded and exited the room, leaving Reggie alone with the two. Once they were gone, the police officer who had led the attack dropped his facade and say, "Hey Reggie, nice to see you awake."

Trying his best to restrain himself, Reggie snarled, "Yeah, I remember you two,"

Hearing this, the two officers laughed and Reggie felt his heart sink. Growing up, his family had always told him not to trust the police, but he never wanted to believe it.

"I'm gonna tell everyone what you did to me," He snarled. "Everyone."

"Well, I guess the jig is up, huh?" The second of the two cops said sarcastically, prompting the leader to practically howl in laughter.

Getting out his laughing fit, the leader said, "No one's gonna believe you Reggie. Not in this town,"

Reggie felt his heart sink even lower; he hated to admit it, but the cop was right. No one was going to believe the word of a young lower class black man against two privileged white cops.

"Now listen up," The leader spat. "Here's what's gonna happen-when they let you out of the hospital, you're gonna skip town-permanently. If I find out you're still hanging around, my buddies and I will find you and beat the shit out of you, and this time you won't get off with just a fucking coma. You got that?"

Fearing for his life, Reggie nodded, prompting the two cops to leave.

He had lost Jasmine and had nothing left. Once he got out of the hospital, he sunk into a pit of self-loathing and despair.

As far as he was concerned, his old self was dead. Having nowhere to go, he began to drift from place to place, using what little money had had left on alcohol and a train ticket. He was going to go to the one place where people could disappear.

Reginald Burns was going to Aster City.

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Aster City(Present)

Reginald awoke in an alley to find Lance looking down on him, a frown plastered on his face.

"Morning sunshine," He said in an uncharacteristically annoyed tone.

"What the hell did you do?" Reginald demanded, sounding angry. "I was gonna take one of them out!"

Lance picked Reginald up and slammed his back into a nearby wall. He then said, "Krim told us not to attack them, what were you thinking?!"

"Making sure the police don't have the power to oppress people," He spat.

Lance frowned, realizing what this had all been about. He then said, "This isn't like the south, man. They aren't corrupt or actively targeting you."

Reginald hated to admit it, but Lance was right; the Chasers were just doing their jobs and attempting to protect the public. The Red Ranger quickly released his blue counterpart, allowing him to stand on his own.

Out of nowhere, Lance began to laugh. Furrowing his eyebrows, Reginald said, "What's so funny?"

"This place reminds me of where we first met," He told him. "I found you hungover, and I took you in and asked you to be my partner."

The Blue Ranger smiled as the memories came rushing back: he was homeless and Lance had found him after a long night of pity-drinking.

"Yeah, I remember," He said. "You found me, a total stranger, and convinced me to become a thief."

Lance laughed again; he then said, "I had a good feeling about you from the very beginning...I was disappointed when you shaved though, the beard really suited you,"

Reginald laughed; he had kept himself clean-shaven ever since waking up from the coma in honor of Jasmine. Deep down, he hoped and prayed he would see her again someday.

He looked up at Lance and now Katie, who had since joined them in the alley. "I'm sorry for screwing up, guys,"

Katie smile at him and said, "Ah, don't worry, we still appreciate you. You're the only quiet one of the group, after all."

Laughing at this, Lance punched his blue counterpart on the shoulder and said, "Yeah man, stick to being the strong silent type. Leave being impulsive to me,"

Remembering that they had left the Gangler behind mid-fight, Reginald said, "C'mon, we've got an item to steal,"

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

The Phantoms returned to the battlefield to find the Chasers being knocked back. Noticing them, Gatto Depyro said, "Hahaha, you thieves are back for round two, huh?"

"Of course. We didn't steal your treasure yet!" Reginald said with a smile.

With that, the three brandished their morphers and slotted their Collection pieces onto the top, causing them to announce, "Red, Blue, Yellow!"

Turning the barrels up, they dialed in their combinations, causing their morphers to announce, "Masquerade!"

Pointing their morphers into the sky, the Phantoms shouted, "Phantoms Disappear!"

Morphing Sequence

The gun released a card which covered the three, putting the ranger forms on them. Lastly, another card went over their face, giving them their helmets and causing capes to form on her back.

Once they had transformed, the Phantoms began their role call.

"Phantom Red!" Lance shouted, snapping his fingers and raising his gun.

"Phantom Blue!" Reginald said coolly, snapping his fingers as well.

"Phantom Yellow!" Katie chirped, snapping her fingers and dancing a bit in excitement.

Stepping forward, Reginald said, "The thieves who plan to steal all of your treasure and climb to the top of society!"

Posing together, the three shouted in unison, saying, "Power Rangers: Phantoms!"

"We'll be taking your treasure now," Phantom Blue told the Gangler.

Feeling invigorated as their camaraderie was restored, the Phantom Rangers dashed towards the Gangler, successfully avoiding his fire now that they knew how he operated. Meanwhile, the Chasers sat back, finding themselves too tired to fight both the Gangler and the Phantoms.

Eventually with some assistance from Red and Yellow, Blue got close enough to open the safe on the Gangler and steal his treasure. Letting out a victorious laugh, Phantom Red said, "Looks like your treasure is ours!"

Enraged at this turn of events, the Gangler roared, "Hey, give that back!"

Shaking his head, Phantom Red said, "Sorry, no can do. Its ours now, and now you're going down!"

Before they could do anything, Goodie arrived. "Good Striker here, appearing to deal the final blow!"

He landed in Phantom Red's hand, prompting him to sigh, "Fine, but if this merges us then you're gonna get it,"

With that he put Goodie onto his morpher, causing it to announce, "Phantom Split!"

Instead of merging them, it multiplied Phantom Red, resulting in three versions of him. The now 5 Phantoms prepared to final blow, as the morpher announced, "Phantom Burst!"

They then fired their final attack, hitting Gatto Depyro and frying him instantly. Only a charred safe was left behind.

As he merged back into one person, Phantom Red dusted his hands together and said, "Welp, time to go,"

With that, they took off, leaving Chaser 1 yelling after them. "Damn thieves! Come back here!"

With he and the other Chasers were distracted with the Phantoms, no one noticed Rouge arrive,

"Don't worry baby, I'm gonna fix you up good as new," She said, reviving the safe and causing Gatto Depyro to come back larger and stronger.

As the Chasers looked up at him in horror, the revived Gangler laughed and said, "Oh yeah! Time to start some really big fires, now!"

Seeing this, Goodie sped over to the Chasers and said, "I got a good feeling about you guys, so let's do this!"

Chaser 1 nodded before saying, "I'm not gonna argue right now," With that, he placed him on his morpher and fired, causing him to grow.

Goodie let out a laugh, as the Chasers quickly summoned their Zords and piloted them into the area. "Megazord Time for the Chasers!" He announced. The three Zords attached to him as the three Rangers were brought into a centralized cockpit.

"Chaser King, ready to deal justice!" The sentient Collection piece hollered.

The three Chasers spent no time marveling over the Megazord; instead, they focused on doing their job. Rushing forward on the skates the Megazord has, they fired shots from a pistol on Pink's Zord, which now served as one of the Megazord's arms.

"Hold still, dammit!" Gatto Depyro shouted in annoyance, as he failed to hit the Megazord with his missiles.

Thomas laughed and said, "No thanks!"

"Let's finish this!" Keith announced.

Charging up the pistol, the three stood up, and Goodie announced, "Chaser Finish!"

With this, the pistol unleashed a massive blast, destroying the Gangler as Chaser King stood triumphantly over the city.

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Aster City(The Next Day)

Things were quiet at the Oath, and Reginald was standing behind the counter looking at a picture of himself and Jasmine. He knew that he may never see her again, but he would always keep her close to his heart.

Suddenly, the door to the cafe opened, and the Chasers walked in once again. Bowing his head slightly, Keith said, "The coffee was pretty good yesterday, so we decided to come back."

Katie smiled and went to usher them to a table, as Lance walked up to Reginald and whispered, "Let's see what information we can get today,"

Giving him a rather serious look, Reginald said, "You distract them, I'll rob them,"

Lance looked at him with slight worry in his eyes, but before he could say anything his blue counterpart smile and said, "Nah I'm just kidding. Go on, find out what you can."

Finding himself slightly surprised that Reginald had just made a joke, Lance shrugged it off and went to greet the Chasers and what would most likely become a daily routine...
