The Unexpected Quest Chapter 4
Percy said "How was your night dear, Annabeth." Annabeth said "Oh I met this wonderful girl named Luna and there is an entire library in the Ravenclaw common room." Percy said "Oh that's good but there are these annoying boys Ron Weasley and Harry Potter who keep bragging." Annabeth said "Those are the boys along with Hermione Granger that we're supposed to be saving." Percy said "From what this school seems okay." Annabeth gave him a look that said we're- supposed- to – figure- that- out.
Once they reached the Great Hall for breakfast Annabeth ran to Thalia to check up on her. Thalia let out a scream of glee when Annabeth ran up to her. Annabeth said "How are you?" Thalia said "Gryffindor is okay but no one really relates to me." Annabeth said "That's terrible but I have to go check on Nico because you know he's younger." Thalia gave a huff of annoyance but said "Fine if you must he is pretty naïve."
Annabeth started to approach the Slytherin table when she heard cries of protest from both the Ravenclaw and Slytherin tables. She ignored them but when she reached the Slytherin table a boy, Draco Malfoy said "What blood are you?" Annabeth already new of the rivalry and said "I'm a pureblood thank you very much. I'm here to see Nico Di Angelo." Draco said "If you're a pureblood what is your last name." Annabeth replied "Chase." Draco sneered and said "I've never heard of Chase." Annabeth said "I'm an American pureblood you dimwit." Draco let her pass.
Nico was in the middle of a conversation with Blaise Zabini about Quidditch. Annabeth nudged him and said "I need to talk to you." Nico said "Fine but give me a second." Annabeth gave a glare of disapproval. Finally Nico got up and said "What do you want?" Annabeth said "Just to know you're okay." Nico said "I'm perfect I have all the friends just because I'm an Italian pureblood." Annabeth smiled and said "That's really good just remember to protect the golden trio." Nico gave and I-know face and then left.
