Humphrey Pov.

I was walked back to Garth while checking out the scenery and the stuff around their camp but I caught Mason staring at me. He would , of course , look away or smile and say " What? " as if nothing happened. Though I did not know if I liked this new Wolf. Sure he was cute but I had only just met him. I knew nothing about him but he did seem to generally like me for me. ' Way better than Garth ' I thought. He returned me to the cave where I had woken up and lost my virginity where Garth was pacing back and forth , a look of worry on his face.

At the sight of Humphrey his eyes widened and he ran to Humphrey nuzzling Humphrey's muzzle. " Where were you?! I thought you had run away and then a war was going to start because of it! What were you thinking! Making Mason waste his time on you to get you home safely!? " Mason coughed getting Garth's attention. " He didn't leave alone I took him with me and I caught a caribou for us to eat. Figured he was hungry. Sorry Garth. " Mason said it with a smile which Garth returned.

" No problem sorry I have been a bit little stressed lately. My dad is setting up the plans for me to officially take over the Pack. " Mason looked at him with a questioning look. " He already giving up the position? Why? " Garth smiled. " He wants me to have as much time as Leader as I can to I make sure to solidify our bloodline as the Leaders. Besides , he's happy he'll get Grandchildren. He'd give up Leader for his future kin. "

I suddenly blushed as I started to follow the conversation. " Wait what!? " Garth grinned , stepping VERY close to me and whispering in my ear " Don't worry , I'll show you what I mean tonight. " I blushed as I thought " Oh crap. Not again... " Mason looked very uncomfortable in the situation , so he coughed getting our attention. " Well , I guess now I must take my leave. Garth will you be going on the afternoon hunt? " Garth looked at him and back at me. " Nah I have matters to attend to here. " Mason nodded and left , leaving me with my captor.

I was so confused , scared , and lost. I wanted Mason to stay but I also wanted to leave and go back home. But I began to wonder if anyone other than the Omega's would miss me. Alpha's always look at us like we are lowly impudent , inferior creatures and could care less if there wasn't food left over. So we would have to look for berries. Yes a wolf eating berries. Even if we caught something we would be forced to give it up and wait our turn. It's not like they would let us join their hunts. Nope we were forced to be isolated. And the caves where we slept were horrid.

Rocks were lose and could fall on you at any moment guarantying no sleep and we not allowed to find anything to put under us while we slept. Most caves where Alpha's slept were protected from the snow due to the shape of the caves , but Omega caves were not as immune as the Alpha's. As he thought of all of the injustices Omega's had suffered , he walked over the moss and did not do a good job at hiding my anger because when I turned around Garth was there , staring at me. " What " I asked , finding it creepy he was staring for this long.

He stared back at me with a concentrated face. " You seem angry. " He said it bluntly and I felt a wave of emotions sweep over me. " Well I have been kidnapped , rapped , and now I am someone's little prisoner. And I know I can't do anything about it. " It was true what I said , if I tried a struggle or resistance he would either A overpower me or B , someone else would come in to finish the job. Now while this he kept a calm attitude and replied " Well you seemed to like me at the Howl. " I looked back at him angry at his insanely stupid remark. " Well that was BEFORE you attacked and kidnapped me! " He shrugged and looked over at the wall.

" I had to ensure you did come with me. " I huffed in annoyance. " So instead of doing things the right you just thought ' Hey , I'll just kidnap this wolf and bring him as prisoner so I can ensure some dumb role as leader? ' Please save your insane thoughts because I'm not listening. " He turned around and looked me also a little annoyed. ' Good now he knows how I feel. ' " Why are you so mad? You obviously went to the Howl looking for a mate right? You got one. " I growled at him. " I was hoping for it to be different! "

" How so? You found a strong Alpha who not only could provide for you and himself , but also is next in line for Leader! What more could you ask for? Or are you not grateful you aren't with some weak wolf who couldn't even protect you from a leaf!? " I felt tears start to burn in my eyes. " I was hoping for it to be perfect! I was wanting loving words , for a perfect romance! Loving words , sweeping me off my feet and leaving me wanting more! I wanted it to be real , to be amazing and be the thing everyone envied! But no I didn't get that! I don't care abut reproducing or about other crazy shit like that! I just wanted to feel like I belonged for once! For once in my horrible life I wanted someone to tell me they wanted me by their side , or that they couldn't get enough of me! That they liked me for ME! But no I left with some red furred moron who can't even think straight for 10 seconds! UNGRATEFUL!? Yeah I'm SOO grateful that I was taken against my will to be some object for you to use! But I guess that's all Omega's are to you Alpha's huh? Just little objects to rule over , to step on and wipe your paws on after you've finished using them!? Well I'm not and I can't wait till I have the chance to ruin your chances as Leader! "

The Alpha was obviously surprised by the outburst , but did not make any attempt to block the gray wolf from running out of the cave. Humphrey did not care running out of the cave and waiting under a lone tree for awhile regaining a clamed down sense of mind. He recalled what he had just said to Garth and realized he could be killed or even worse for his actions. He began to walk back towards their camp and saw about 7 wolves coming back with Caribou and other wolves ( most likely Alpha's ) running towards the food and attacking the already dead caribou. However I did see Mason in the crowd. But he did not eat , instead heading towards a small mouth of a cave where it also seemed shielded , and higher up from the cliff. I ran towards the cave , being careful not to be seen. I did and made it before him. He walked in his head down looking towards the floor. I began to feel tears as he walked forward but I gathered up the courage to say " Mason? ".

His head shot up and he ran towards me happy , his eyes now burning with happiness. " What are you doing here!? " I looked him in the eyes. " I fought with Garth. He might punish me for fighting with him. Can I stay with you? " He gave my cheek a lick. " Of course you can. " He walked over to a bed of moss and motioned me over. I walked over and laid down on the moss and as I did his body encased mine as we lay in a curled of ball of fur. He nuzzled me for most of the night and I could hear him saying loving things out loud. Did he think I was asleep? But I never heard my name. Maybe he liked another wolf? ' Of course he wont like you idiot. ' Shut Up! I creamed at the voice in my mind. But sadly I began to believe it. But still being around him was good enough so cuddled next to his warm fur I drifted off to a peaceful slumber , my dreams filled with Mason and not Garth.

Tony Pov.

Tony walked forwards to a small clearing where he was told to go at midnight. His hunting group had run into a group of wolves that told him that Winston wanted to meet with him. He could presume he knew what this was about but as he did he found a group of wolves there , Winston in the middle of the line. I kept walking forward until I was at talking distance. They all had different expressions on their faces. However Winston seemed to have a blank glare aimed at him. I shrugged it off and sat down. Winston began to speak. " Recently one of our Omega's has gone missing. He is close friend another Omega who just happened to see him get carried off by a wolf with red fur. You happen to have a son with red fur. You know where this is going don't you? " I nodded. " Well normally someone would be upset with this. He has no family and like said earlier is an Omega. However You want our packs to unite. So here's the deal. If your son can convince the wolf to marry him and give full consent , I will unite the packs. If not , there will be war. Am I clear , or are you going to justify your kidnapping? "

I was shocked. Normally I would be happy about this but I realized something... the wolf wasn't exactly to keen on being around Garth... and might confess... But I decided the option of war wasn't an option for my hungry pack members. We were rapidly losing food and pups were dying of starvation. We even began intruding on their territory to feed ourselves. I grumbled to myself realizing what situation my pack was in. " Fine. He will marry. How long do we have? " He smiled. " Well winter did just end a few days ago. When the seasons go through a full change and the moon is full , your son must have married him by then. " I knew this was a bad idea but it gave me many things I wanted , killing a whole flock of birds with one pebble. But that pebble would be harder to lift than I thought...
