Castiel's POV
Ugh
iIt's Monday. I'm woken up by Demon kicking at my side. When I glanced over at him, his eyes were still closed. This ***** woke me up cause he's dreaming of chasing cats. I let out a loud sigh.
"Demon, wake up."
Even when I called out to him he wouldn't wake up. My skin hurt from his nails.
Note to self: cut his nails
I patted his side while calling his name. This got him to wake up at a startle. He jumped up immediately, surprised by the sudden touch. When he saw me, he cuddled/head-butted into my face. I pushed him out of my face and patted his head.
"Go to sleep. It's still…"
I glanced at my clock on my nightstand next to my bed.
"…5:48. "
Demon cuddled next to me, making sure to snuggle as tight as he can to my body and we both fell back asleep.
2 hours later
Ugh.
Yeah, that's pretty much how I am when I first wake up. This time, I'm being woken up by my phone's annoying ringtone filling my head. I blindly search for my phone on my nightstand. Once in my hand, I find out that Lysander is the one calling me.
Double Ugh.
"Hello?"
"Rise and shine sleeping beauty."
"I'm getting a strong sense of déjà vu here."
"Might I say that your waking up voi-"
"Don't finish that sentence."
"voice is quite sexy."
"I hate you." Lysander chuckled. This annoyed me even more. "What do you want?"
"It's already 7:30. You need to get ready for school."
"It's still early. I'm going back sleep." I rolled over to side ready to hang the phone up before Lys mentioned something I forgot.
"You'll get to see Gail again."
"Yeah and?"
"You like her."
"What?! N-no I don't."
"You're too obvious. I'll come pick you up at 8:30." With that, he hung up.
Yup, I hate him. Besides, mentioning Gail's name isn't going to change anything. Did he think that reminding me that I'll be seeing her at school is going to make me get out of bed and get ready for school? Yeah right, I'm going back to sleep.
Triple Ugh.
Here I am, standing in my bathroom, brushing my teeth ready to take a shower. A second after I flipped the covers over me so that I could go back to sleep, I jumped out of bed and headed straight into the bathroom so, here we are. Actually getting ready. It's not because of Gail. Yeah, that definitely is not the reason. I just couldn't go back to sleep. That's it.
After the shower, I pick out whatever clothes I happen to see first in my closet grabbing along my boots and backpack. Brush my hair, spritz a bit of cologne and I'm done. What am I doing? cologne? I never wear cologne. Whatever, I want to smell nice sometimes.
"Come on Demon. Chow time."
Do I really need to say it again? Yes.
Ugh.
This time, it was stairs. Why was my house so big? Why does my room need to be on the second floor?
I make it down the stairs and go into the kitchen. First thing I do is give Demon his bowl of dog food. Then it's my turn. I dig through the refrigerator and discover a half eaten burger from probably about three days ago. I pop it into the microwave and wait eagerly as my stomach grumbles. Finally, the timer beeps. Breakfast time.
At exactly 8:30, I hear a car honking. That must be Lys and of course he is on time. I give Demon a pat on the head and I'm out the door with a scowl on my face. I hate school.
Well chapters 2 and 3 were just for a bit of fun. In all honesty, I wasn't really serious when I was writing the two chapters but I thought it would be really funny to see how different these two got ready in the morning. I don't know about you but a lot of MyCandyLove OCs tend to be the bad girl type who doesn't do morning just like Castiel so I really wanted a different type of character this time around.
