Chapter 4
Amy's POV
I couldn't believe it, the lady of the lake looked exactly like me, well apart from the long light blue dress, that she was wearing. She led us to the little house in the middle of the lake and she allowed us to sit in her small round sitting area. "Wow, this place is so beautiful!" I exclaimed.
She smiled "why thank you miss Rose, now I bet your wondering why your here?!"
I nodded and listened in as she continued, "you were drawn here by the new evil power that has been roaming these lands for the past couple of months, you have something that's very valuable to them and they'll do what ever it takes to get it!"
My went wide and I was a little scared, "what? Do you know what it is?!"
She sighed sadly and shook her head, "I'm sorry I'm afraid I don't, but I'm working on finding it out, so far I believe it may have something to with something that's inside of you, its got to be some kind of power that's been locked inside of you!"
"So, what do I have to do?!" I asked shocked at the fact that I had power inside of me.
"I know of a special stone that has mysterious powers and from what I've heard from the person who gaurds it, is that it's been acting strange, he saw an image of a pink hedgehog inside it, and I believe it could be referring to you!"
"Does that mean I have to find this stone?!" I asked.
She nodded. "yes, I believe that finding this stone will unlock the power within you, but you must be cautious the evil roaming the land will take every chance they can get to get you!"
I gulped, how was a I going to get out of this? I'm not like Sonic he would fight his way out, oh if only he were here! I looked at her, "is there anything I can do to protect myself?!"
"You do have Caliburn at your side, but I think you might need a little training in the ways of the sword!" She suggested.
Caliburn raised his eyes, "yes quite a lot of traing I might add. I would not like to be swung around the same as last time!"
I gave him an apologetic looked but he smiled, the lady of the lake stood up, "very well, then I will request the assistemce of Sir Gawian, he is the one most skilled in the art of sword fighting!"
The mystical women preformed a magical spell, she said that how she sends messages to people, "thank you my lady, we will find Sir Gawian, and hopefully he'll be able to teach Amy the ways of the sword!"
We soon left the lake and I gave my thanks to the magical hedgehog who looked like me, I'll never get over that, I wonder if Sonic's met her? I thought to myself as Me and Caliburn were now walking through the woods, and they were really creeping me out.
"Um, Caliburn, what kind of creatures live in here?!"
"Some of the most dangerous kind you'll ever meet, which is why it's best to get you trained up, just hope you never face off against a dragon!"
I suddenly stopped in my tracks and gulped, "did you say dragon?!"
"Yes, let's just hope we don't run into any!"
Well I certainly wasn't feeling any better, my nerves were shot, dragon's don't exist! We walked further into the forest and I could hear someone yelling. "Uh, Caliburn do you hear that?!"
"Yes, that is the knight that the lady of lake as us about, he trains up this way!"
"Oh, so that's Sir Gawain?!" I said at suddenly remembering his name.
"Yes that is correct!"
I walked further up ahead while carrying Caliburn in my hands, the yelling was getting louder the closer we went. We soon arrived at a grassy field with a big rock in the middle. And I'm guessing that the person we saw was Sir Gawain, he looked like he was training really hard.
"Whoa look at the way he's moving his sword?!" I breathed out in awe.
"His skills are most impressive!" Commented Caliburn.
He suddenly stopped in his training and before I knew it a sword was heading my way, I shirked as the sword barley missed me. My heart was pounding I sighed in relief, "that was close," I said as let out a growl and looked up from the sword and glared at the knight.
"Hey what's the big idea?!"
He chuckled, "just checking your reflexes!"
"Ah, Sir Gawain how nice to see you again!" Stated Caliburn.
I gasped when the knight turned to face me and Caliburn, "Knuckles?!" I breathed out.
"Caliburn, it's been a while!"
"I take it you got the lady of the lake's message?!" Asked Caliburn.
"Yes, I did indeed, and I must my lady you do look an awful lot like the lady of the lake!" Said Gawain.
"So, you don't mind training her?!"
"Of course not, but first I will show you the stone!" Sir Gawain lead us both deeper through the tree's and we soon came to an alter, and in the middle of there was a large emerald, which really reminded me of the master emerald back in my world.
It was glowing quite rapidly the closer I got, "this stone has been acting really strange for the past couple of days, but now I think it maybe because your here! It has now only started to glow as fast as that!" Sir Gawain explained as he stood beside me and Caliburn.
Suddenly it lit up really that we had to cover our eyes, I barley opened mine when I saw this beam of white light heading straight for me. I gasped as hit me and I fainted to the ground.
