Awwww yeah I'm back with more and I got help from an awesome friend (ZoatocustheAwesome on fanfiction and BadassBlondi on deviantart if you're curious) so there's gonna be drama in a little bit.

Ciel swam down towards his underwater home, a huge smile tugging at his lips as the hot scarlet blush spilled across his cheeks. He couldn't believe that had gone the way it did. The blunder had been fixed, to an extent. He still wasn't sure what the blonde human he'd watched for so long thought of him now.

The thought of his new-found blonde friend made Ciel's heard pound in an odd rhythm, though he couldn't figure out exactly why. He dismissed it as excitement and shifted his thoughts to ponder what his father wanted. Sometimes the king just wanted to check up on Ciel, as rivals kingdoms were becoming a problem, so perhaps that's what was going on.

Once he arrived at the huge palace where he lived, Ciel circled around and slipped stealthily into his open bedroom window. Looking around, Ciel took a mental inventory and calmed himself down. Nothing had been touched, moved, removed, or added. Good, he thought, No one came in here.

Opening the door, Ciel took a final deep breath and went into the hallway. He stopped a maid and asked where his father was. She told him that she had last seen the king in the throne room talking to the doctor. Oh is Madame here for a visit? Ciel thought I wish Father would tell me these things ahead of time. Honestly, he tells me nothing sometimes.

"You called for me Father?" Ciel greeted somewhat coldly as he drifted into the throne room.

Sebastian and Madame Red, who had apparently been talking, stopped and turned to Ciel. Straightening his posture, Sebastian answered, "Yes, thank you. Madame and I were just talking; your fourteenth birthday is soon, and you will be old enough to officially be crowned Prince of this land."

"I know that. You called me to tell me that why?" Ciel looked between the two older merfolk, trying to figure out what they had been talking about.

Madame Red gave Ciel a somewhat fake-looking smile, "We just wanted to ask what sort of celebration you'd like to have for it."

"We have something we wanted to tell you then as well," Sebastian added, almost too quiet to hear.

"I don't want a celebration or party," Ciel replied bluntly, "They're a waste of time and energy. If you really want to do something invite Lizzie and her family."

Madame gave Ciel a saddened frown. "Nothing? It's an important birthday Ciel! You've refused to do an

"If you want a party that bad throw one. Just don't expect me to do very much at it. Is that all you wanted?" Ciel was getting a bit mad that his meeting with Alois was interrupted for a stupid party.

Sebastian sighed, not wanting to anger the blue-haired prince more than he had to. "Fine. Don't go very far, we have business and dinner soon."

"Alright," Ciel turned to leave and cursed under his breath as he did so. 'Don't go far' was essentially 'don't leave the palace' when it came to Sebastian.

So, he couldn't go back to Alois. What could he do in the meantime? Ciel thought about it as he wandered the palace hallways, avoiding everyone when he could. His answer came when he noticed that the kitchen pantry was unlocked, and stocked full of fish. No one was in it or around, and Ciel remembered how little food Alois always seemed to have. After checking for any possibility of someone come by, he ducked in and started gathering up various types of fish (Alois couldn't eat any of the other stuff). He gathered as much into his arms as he could carry without being too suspicious.

"How am I going to get this to Alois?" Ciel whispered to himself as he was about halfway to his room, "And where the hell did I put my spellbook?"

A voice pulled Ciel out of his thoughts for a moment. "Where are you going with that fish?"

Ciel turned rapidly, coming face to face with one of the younger gardeners. "It's a gift," Ciel explained, eager to get away.

"Oh, alright. I hope it works out Prince Ciel!" they said before continuing on their way.

Ciel gave a sigh of relief and continued on. He got back to his room and shut the door. He set the fish down somewhere and began searching for one of his belts that had gotten too small. He found one in the corner, tangled with a knife. He took the knife, and bound it to the front of the pile of fish with the belt. Good, now Alois had a weapon too.

Now, all he needed was his spellbook. Ciel found it exactly where he'd left it, of course-open on a desk. He found the rune he needed to send the bundle up to the surface and memorized it quickly-it was simple, a very, very basic spell. Ciel headed over to the bundle and traced the symbol on the fish, whispering where he wanted the bundle to go. It was given a life of its own, and floated away out the window, heading up for the surface.

"I hope you like it, Alois. I'll send more whenever I can," Ciel whispered, watching it go.

Meanwhile on the beach, Alois had been simply waiting and watching the waves, thinking about the blue-tailed merprince. He compared him to the figure in his dreams-perhaps they had been a warning? Alois' cheeks flushed a pale red as he compared the dream he'd had the morning before, where the merman had nearly kissed him, and remembered the salty taste of Ciel's lips when they had made contact with his own. In fact, he was so absorbed in his thoughts he nearly missed his gift. Luckily the sun bounced off of it and into his eyes.

Once he was alerted to the present of the bundle, Alois nearly scrambled into the shallows to get it , correctly assuming it was from Ciel. Gathering the fish into his arms and pulling out the knife to examine it, Alois made a mental note to thank Ciel next time he saw the blue-eyed boy. The fish looked delicious, and the knife was sharp, and well kept, about seven or eight inches long.

"What's tying this all together?" Alois wondered as he looked at the string wrapped loosely around the fish. The string looked almost like the tangled, decorated fish net belt thing Ciel had been wearing earlier, but thinner and smaller.

On a whim, instead of cutting it lose, Alois untied the string carefully and wrapped it around his left wrist like a brace. It looked to be made of braided fishing line, decorated with sea shells and fish hooks turned into loops.

Alois set out to hide his new food stock from any swooping birds, his new jewelry making clicking sounds as he walked.

I wanted to end it there because I can.

That is all.

Ooh wonder what they're gonna tell him! I know, and I hope you want to know. It'll be really cool I promise so just wade through the fluff for a little while longer :D

Well, not much to say today. I'm surprised not many people came and asked about the kiss thing, since I thought it was kinda out of the blue; I even had an explanation ready and everything.

As always I encourage you to review since it makes me very happy to see those. I'll be here soon with 5 and no I don't know how long this is going to be I just know how it'll end. One last note: Madame Red is a doctor who is often employed by the castle, and has long hair right now. That's kind of important or something like that maybe.

See you next chapter!-

Ciaran

(Edit: sorry I had to update this there was some stuff that got messed up D: I'll post five later don't be discouraged though!)
