Chapter 4
I opened my eyes slowly and let my eyes focus. It was dark outside. I glance at the clock on the DVD player, 1:37. We'd both fallen asleep.
I looked down to notice that Alesha had fallen asleep with her head resting on my shoulder. I smiled, the weight felt nice.
I got up as gently as I could manage, resting Alesha's head on the back of the sofa.
Once I was standing I leant down and scooped her into my arms, and headed towards what I assumed must be the bedroom. I lay her down, still being careful not to wake her, and tucked the duvet around her body.
I thought about going home but I didn't fancy the walk at this time. It was too late to be leaving and I was still worried about her.
I went back to the sofa and lay down, falling asleep quickly.
