Ch.4: Best Reunion Ever
Pam and the Serpentine stepped out of the portal to find themselves just outside of the Central Park Zoo. Pam breathed in through her nose with a huge smile on her face before letting it out with a sigh.
"How I missed the natural scent of the park," she said with delight before turning to Pythor, Flora, and Acidicus. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" She then ran for the zoo.
"Pamela, wait!" Pythor called as he slithered after her. "We don't know if it's safe or not." As Flora and Acidicus slithered after them, two humans were watching them from an alley. One is a gorgeous woman with red hair in a bun. The other is a muscular man with long bluish-black hair.
"Casey, that was Pam!" the woman said to her.
"You're right, babe," he said to her. "But what are those snake things following her?"
"I don't know," she answered, "but we better call the guys." She then got out her cell phone and dialed in a number.
Meanwhile, Pam has entered the zoo and is looking around for any signs of her animal friends. The Serpentine were able to catch up to her quickly.
"Pamela, you know we can't move as fast as you," Pythor panted. "We don't have legs."
"Sorry, Pythor, but I'm just so excited," she stated. "I can't believe I'm back in the zoo. Who knows what happened since I was—" She was suddenly cut off when smoke bombs exploded at their feet. They jumped back with surprise and poised themselves to fight. A figure jumped out of the smoke at them with a cry, but Pam quickly flew into action.
"NINJA, GO!" She unleashed her Spinjitzu twister and knocked back the attacker, sending him across the ground. She then stopped and held up her sais in case her opponent tries to attack again. But then she got a better look at him.
"Raph?" The Serpentine saw that the attacker she's addressing is a human-sized humanoid turtle wearing a red ninja mask and wield sais like Pam's but silver with red bands. The turtle then stood up with a groan and looked up at Pam to get a better look at her.
"Pam?!" he asked with wide eyes. In reply, she ran up to him and threw her arms around him in a bear hug.
"Raph!" she laughed with delight. "Oh, I've missed you so much, you crazy hothead you!" Pythor watched with a bit of jealousy as the turtle hugged her back.
"Pam," he chuckled, "I haven't seen ya since ya left with Sensei Wu!" He then turned to the back of him. "Guys, it's Pam! She's back!"
Pam and the Serpentine then watched as three more humanoid turtles entered the scene ninja style. The first wore a blue mask and wields a pair of katana wit blue handles. The second wore a purple mask and wields a bo staff with a purple grip. And the last wore an orange mask and wields a pair of nunchucks, each with an orange band on each end. When they saw Pam, their faces lit up with happiness.
"Pam!" They then ran up to her and hugged her with laughs, and she returned their embrace with tears of joy.
"Oh, guys, it's so good to see you all again!" Pythor then cleared his throat to get her attention.
"I take it these are the ninja turtles you've told us about?" Pam turned to him and nodded with a smile.
"They sure are," she answered before introducing each of them to the Snake King. "The one in the blue mask is Leonardo; he's the leader. The one in the purple mask is Donatello; he's the genius. The one in the red mask is Raphael; he's a serious fighter. And the one in the orange mask is Michelangelo; he's the party animal/comedian. Just call them Leo, Donnie, Raph, Mikey." The turtles then turned to Pythor, Acidicus, and Flora a little suspiciously.
"Pam, who are these three?" Leo then asked.
"They're friends of mine from Ninjago," she answered before introducing them. "The green cobra is Acidicus, leader of the Venomari Tribe. You'll like him, Donnie; he's a genius like you are. And the two violet snakes are Pythor and his sister Flora of the Anacondrai."
"It is an honor to finally meet you," Flora said to the turtle with a bow. Acidicus nodded to them in a polite greeting, and Pythor did the same but with a bit of a glare at Raph, who arched an eyebrow at him with confusion.
"Hey, what's eatin' him?" he asked Pam, pointing his sai at the male Anacondrai. Pam immediately noticed this and blushed at what's going on through his mind.
"Oh, Pythor, he…uh, well…"
"YAY! PAMELA'S HOME!" She was suddenly cut off when a small, light brown critter jumped into her arms and hugged her. The Serpentine then saw that it's a little mouse lemur.
"Mort!" Pam cried with delight as she hugged him. "Oh, you're a sight for sore eyes!" They were soon surrounded by more of Pam's animal friends: Kowalski's penguin teammates Skipper, Private, and Rico; Julien's right-hand man Maurice (an aye-aye lemur); Julien's otter girlfriend Marlene; and the other animals of the zoo. Also with them is the Hoboken Gang who transferred here permanent from the Hoboken Zoo: the puffin Hans; the walrus Rhonda; the chimp Lulu; the bamboo lemur Clemson; the opossum Ma; and finally the boa Savio. Pam practically hugged him to death when she saw another one of her best friends.
Also with them to welcome Pam back is Julien's lovely sister Julianya (or Jewel for short). She looks like Julien but with short black hair like Cleopatra's along with a golden-leaf wreath for a crown. Pam tells Pythor that she's also Kowalski's girlfriend.
"Oh, it's so good to see you all again!" she said with delight. "You have no idea how much I've missed you guys!" She then turned to Savio. "I hope you've been staying out trouble while I was away, Savy."
"Chica, if was causing trouble, these rascals wouldn't be here still," the boa laughed. They then turned to see the two humans from before walking up to them. With them also is a gray humanoid rat in a red-violet robe and walking with a walking stick. Pam's eyes filled up with tears when she saw them.
"April! Casey! Master Splinter!" She then ran up to them and hugged the humans before hugging the rat. "Oh, it's so good to see you again." The man Casey looked up and gulped when he saw Flora, Acidicus, and Pythor. Pam saw this.
"Don't worry, Casey," she said. "They're with me." She then turned to the Serpentine. "Guys, allow me to introduce to you Casey Jones and his wife April."
"Nice to meet you," the woman April said politely as she shook hands with Flora.
"Uh, sorry 'bout the sneak attack on yas," Casey greeted with a sheepish chuckle.
"It's alright," Acidicus laughed. "We've gotten that a lot lately." Pam then held her hand out to the rat.
"And this is Master Homato Splinter," she introduced, "former pet of the late ninjitzu master Homato Yoshi and the turtles mentor/father." Upon these words, Pythor smiled at Splinter before bowing to him in a Japanese manner of respect.
"Splinter-Sensei," he said humbly, "it is an honor." Splinter returned the bow with a warm smile. It is clear to Pam that these two are warming up to one another.
