"Uh, what the hell hit my fucking head", I said slowly opening my eyes, then remembering the fight, and rushed to sit up. That was a bad fucking idea, since I felt pain all over my body.

"A bad idea Christopher." I looked to my side, and finally took stock of my surroundings. I was in the sky castle again, but this time it was different, courtesy of the women looking down at me from a lap pillow apparently. She had pale skin, with ice blue hair and eyes, with a nice body covered by a light blue dress.

"Am, who are you?" I asked the most obvious question.

She giggled a bit. "Of course, during the battle there wasn't much time for me to introduce myself to you. My name is Reina, and I am the soul of your sword Joyeuse." She said to me.

"Ok… not to be that guy, but why did you only appear now, when I've had the sword since I was thirteen?" I asked her.

"Forgive me, but you were nowhere near strong enough to even attempt Armament Control, back them."

"Right, that…. Never heard of it before."

"I wouldn't expect you too, since it's a technique only gifted to Integrity Knights, and their descendants."

"Again, no clue what you mean at all."

"I understand completely, so we'll talk later, since it seems your regaining outside awareness."

Reina was right, I felt this body fading like always, when I woke. "Ok, talk to you soon then." I know I shouldn't have been so trusting, but she just felt right to me, like I could trust her to watch my back during any situation.

It was one of the things, you just know in your heart is ok, and with that I faded from the castle again.

"Ugh. What fucking hit me?" I murmured, using my arm to block the lights from my eyes. I heard the distinct rhythm of monitors beeping, which meant I was somewhere receiving treatment.

"A blade owned by an asshole." A male voice said from next to me.

"Fuck! Boss don't do that again." I exclaimed at the man. For this late at night, he was dressed as always in a light blue suit, that accented his shaggy blonde hair and ruby eyes. I really had no clue why, him and Artoria were the only ones of the Five Heads to wear suits.

I then looked to a window, and saw I was wrong about the time. It was morning dawn with the sun just rising in the air.

"Boss, what happened to everyone else?" I asked him.

He just stood up, and pulled back the sheet obscuring my view, I breathed a sigh of relief then, the others were all in beds, with bandages from various wounds, but otherwise unharmed at all. I also saw Artoria and Eugeo sitting next to Lily's bed.

"Oh it's Oliver. Hello." Artoria said, waving to the boss.

"Hey, just came to check on my idiots." He called us without a care in the world. We all let it slide, since it was just the way he showed affection.

"I also want to gut the little shit, that did this to them." Oliver said, in a serious tone.

"I too want to make them pay, but first we need information." Artoria said, gripping tightly on the rail of Lily's bed.

"We can help with that." Chris said, beginning to recount with his team, how they had ended up in this situation.

"I see." Artoria stated. After having heard all the events of the case. "What troubles me most, is the fact that they have an armor somehow wielding Galatine, and yet somehow having the skills of a master swordsman."

"I know, it makes no sense at all." Eugeo stated.

As we all thought about this, a knock was heard at the door. To which we all told to come in. The person to enter was a girl our age, with dark brown hair and turquoise eyes, wearing the templar uniform on her rather voluptuous body, that had milky white skin, and Japanese features. Her hair was placed in a high ponytail, but cut bangs extended all around her head.

She marked right up to Eric's bed, slapped him hard in the face, and then kissed him hard on the lips.

This was Eric's girlfriend, and a Templar in the Intelligence Division, names Sayaka Kirasaka.

We all just stayed quiet, as to not ruin the moment. You see, we gave up two years ago trying to figure out why, a strong, Shinto War Maiden, japanese beauty would go steady with a pervert like my best friend. Not to say he couldn't get girls, but we never thought he would do well in a longer term relationship while young. Sayaka proved us all wrong, so much so, that Jeanne had a slight breakdown at the news of them dating.

"Idiot." Sayaka said, now finished with the punishment and the reward. "You need to pay more attention in battle. From what I heard, that mace knight is no joke at all." She stated in a strict tone.

"I get it. Sayaka- oujo sama." Eric was with a cheeky grin, making Sayaka blush hard. She hated it when he referred to he as a proper lady in public, but never said anything because the embarrassment was to much.

"Ah to be young again. Artoria and Eugeo, let's get to being proper adults and put this info to good use." With that, Oliver and the other two left the room to go kick the investigation into high gear.

"Man, I'm beat." Eric said, with Sayaka still sitting at his bedside.

"We all are." I said, thinking back to the battle again, and then turning to Lily. "Hey, Lily."

"Yes?"

"What do you know about Mordred's dagger, Carawenn?"

"Hm," she put a finger on her chin for a moment, "well, I know that it was forged by Morgana his mother, it has the power to extend, and also the ability to distort reality."

When she said that, it clicked in my head. The dagger glowed purple last night right before Mordred began to kick my ass. It explained how he was able to get the jump on me and make the battle one sided.

"Thanks Lily."

"No problem, Chris."

"Ok," I said loudly, drawing the others attention, "we need to hurry up and get healed. We have training to do, since we'll most definitely be running into those guys again, now that we know for sure that their main target is Lily."

I got a round of agreement from them all.

Next time we met, I was going to beat Mordred.

"Ah!, it burns!" Mordred said clutching a side of his body.

He so furious right now, he could kill anything with a pulse just to vent his rage.

"I saw so close to winning! And then that trash pulled a fucking magic trick out of his hat!" He writhed in pain again.

"My son, be calm, or else the healing won't take." His mother told him again.

Currently, Mordred was lying in his bed, his mother performing a complex healing spell in his side. During the last few seconds of battle, that side had been engulfed in the ice of Joyeuse, beginning to burn like fire and not stopping, even after Gawain used Galatine to melt it.

So the three knights ceased any battles and followed their number one directive. To make sure Mordred and his mother were kept alive at all costs.

They quickly took him back to the castle, which is how he ended up in his current position.

"It was not a complete waste my son," his mother said, stroking his head to keep him calm, "we have found the girl needed to complete the ritual."

"I know mother, but it will not be easy. She is protected, and she herself is not a pushover."

"Oh don't worry about that at all." His mother had a sinister grin back on her face. "Let mommy take care of this for now, just get better so you can stomp the trash that did this to you into the ground."

"Yes mother." Mordred then began to drift off into a slumber, as the healing spell began to kick into overdrive.

With her son finally asleep, Morgana left his room as quietly as possible, then walked through the halls of the castle she was in, the only sound her footsteps.

She came to a set of great wooden doors, which swung open for her with ease. She then approached the center of the room, which held a unique site.

It was twelve figures seated around a round table, all immobile suits of armor that looked like statues at first glance.

However on closer inspection, you could see the knights that the Argonauts had clashed with earlier, their armor beginning to self repair.

Morgana slowly walked up to a certain knight. She began to whisper into the armor's ear, which made its visor glow as it came alive.

With this, Morgana smiled as her plan was just that much closer to fruition.

"Come along now, we have an item to procure."

The knight got up and followed Morgana out of the room, having the doors slam behind them, leaving the other knights alone in silence.

"Armament Control." I shouted, and I got nothing at all. I sighed for the like the tenth time that day.

A few days ago we had been released from the hospital, and still no word on Mordred or his benefactor.

But, thankfully, no more girls were being taken off the street. Which just proved that their target was now Lily.

It made me worried to no end, for her, and for the others since we knew another round of tough battle was ahead. So as soon as we were cleared, all of us began in intense training regime. Alex went home to perfect his weapon, Eric was training with Sayaka, Jeanne was training with someone who made me shudder, and finally me and Lily were being trained by Artoria herself.

I understand Lily, since she needed to learn how to control her most powerful weapon. The spear of Arthur, Rhongomiant. Ever since she had received it, the thing had not listened to her at all, like it had a mind of its own. But, it felt like all legendary weapons were like that. They just had that aura of consciousness, but considering what I discovered about Joyeuse, well… yeah, I was not touching that right now.

So anyway, we were in one of the Templar's training rooms, which used dimensional magic to keep an open space, which was needed, since some of our more "eccentric" members did not know the meaning of hold back at all.

The reason I was there was because Artoria asked for me too. No clue why, but it gave me a perfect chance to try and use Armament Control again, unfortunately…

"Armament Control." Still, nothing happened at all. It was so frustrating. I had no idea what I was doing wrong, and then felt a tap on my shoulder, which turned out to be Artoria.

"Christopher, come over here for a moment. I need to talk to you and Lily both." With that, I followed her over to Lily.

Once we both stood in front of her, she summoned her Excalibur Ruler, and said, "Armament Control." Then there was an explosion of blinding light, and when it died down, Artoria was wearing armor. It was a cross between a dark blue dress and silver armor, her arm and elbows covered in metal, her legs as well, a dress with metal plates going down the side, her chestplate covered in blue accent line, and finally thin golden line coming from her neck to her shoulders, stopping right at the end of her puffed out shoulder blades.

"H-how?" Was all I could muster, the power coming off Artoria was unlike any before, and Excalibur itself looked bigger and more regal, now with a faint glow around it.

"Let me tell you both a story."

I summoned some chairs so we could all relax, considering this was going to be a good and informative tale.

"Long ago, when humans were just beginning, we were at the bottom of the supernatural food chain. Being prayed upon and abused by creatures of all shapes and sizes."

It was nothing new, considering that was how it had been for centuries, and yet in legends, it was always humans or those with human blood that stood as heroes and saviors. A kinda cosmic irony if you ask me.

" It was so bad, until one day, someone said enough was enough. Her name was Quintella, or as you might know her Wayland Smith."

We nearly fell out of out chairs at that statement. Wayland Smith as a master forger in legends, but from what Artoria was telling us, he (or she now) was much older than the legends let on.

"She seeing that humans needed a helping hand, set a plan into motion. She traveled the world, gathering the rarest materials around from Mithril to Orichalcum, and even obscure items like rare bark from trees and such. Then she began as her legends say, and forged. She forged weapons that had souls and incredible power, called Divine Objects."

"And let me guess," I said interrupting her, "your Excalibur, and my Joueyse are Divine Objects."

Artoria shook her head in a yes motion. "Not just those two, but Rhongomiant as well."

That was something I was not expecting to be said.

"Quintella then passed out these Divine Objects to a select group of humans, those she thought of as righteous and just, forming her own order to protect humanity called the Integrity Knights."

"Right, so what does that have to do with us?"

She smiled at Lily's question. " Well my dear, it has everything with the three of us, since we are the direct descendant of those knights."

Ok, my brain was going to explode.

I looked at Artoria to see if she was joking, but her face told me she was not. "You see, Quintella knew that other supernaturals have long memories, so she hid the names of the knights and sent them to the far corners of the world to keep them safe. As time passed, the legend of the knights just became a fairy tale to most, expect the true descendants of them, for only when a true descendant wields a Divine Object does its true power show."

"Armament Control, correct?"

"Correct. That is the manifestation of a Divine Objects truest nature, able to reshape the world on a users beliefs. The stronger the willpower and belief, the more power you can draw out."

"But still," I said, raising my hand in the air, "how did this go unnoticed for so long?"

"As I said, Quintella chose the best of humanity. So when they traversed the world, they made new names for themselves. You've heard of them throughout history. Our ancestors, Arthur and Charlemagne, the gladiator Spartacus, even the famous hero Jason."

"Got it, so it that why you called me down here for training?"

"Yes it is," she stood up and took a fighting stance, "since both of you are right on the precipice, I'll teach you how to reach Armament Control. This will even help you both achieve balance break."

Another bonus for us, for even if me and Lily had mastered our sacred gears, neither of us had achieved a balance break yet. So we took our stances as I dispelled the chairs to make way for us.

Then, a black portal cracked into existence, we all turned to look at the dark swirling mass of energy, as an arm pushed through it, then a another, and finally a head, covered in black mist with a glowing red visor pulled itself all the way out and landed with a loud thud on the ground.

"Very good." A female voice said, as another figure floated out of the portal. It was a woman who was stunning, with long silk black hair, blue eyes, and a low cut dress with no straps all in black, which barely covered her huge melons.

We never dropped our guard, for her eyes said it all. Even though she was beautiful, they were devoid of any remorse or empathy. She felt like the type of person who would gut you while smiling a grin on her face.

When both were fully though, with a snap of the woman's fingers, the portal closed.

She was oozing magic power, so it was plain as day that she was a magician of the highest caliber.

With her business done, she glances at all three of us briefly. "Oh, this is a treat. To see my dear cousin, her daughter, and her daughter's boy toy all in one place."

"Cut the act," I said, "you planned this from the beginning."

"Oh, strong, cute and smart. I think we can have some real "fun" young man."

The way she said that sent a shiver up my spine.

"Hey! He's not getting anywhere near you!" Lily shouted, moving in front of me.

"Again, how cute. You thinking at you have any say in your future." The woman said, in a sinister tone.

"Enough of this! Who are you!"

The woman placed a hand on her chest. "Cousin, I'm shocked you don't recognize me. It is I, Morgana Le Fay at your service."

Yep, it confirmed my suspicions, her magic signature was similar to much to the freaks, not to be a close relative or teacher, but his mother. This was looking to much like the legend.

"Why have you come here?" Arotria asked, though she moved closer to Lily.

"You already know," she pointed right at Lily, "I need to power your precious daughter for something important to me."

"I will never allow that to happen," we both heard Artoria increase the grip on her sword hilt.

"Hehehe… hahaha!" She burst out in laughter for a moment, before regaining her composure to stare at us. She tilted her head and was smiling, but her eyes were completely dead. "You really don't have a choice in this matter."

She raised her hand. "Lancelot."

We all got shocked expression as she called the black knight Lancelot.

"Be a dear and handle Arotoria, meanwhile, I'll take care of the kiddies."

We barely had time to move, as Lancelot roared, and barreled right into Artoria, sending them across the training room, leaving us with Morgana.

"This monstrostiy was impressive." Artoria thought, as she was pushed backed by the thing being called Lancelot.

She needed to stop, so she firmly planted both feet on the ground, her greaves producing a screeching noise as she fought to regain her footing. Finally, she was able to get a foothold, and used it to push the monster off of her, making it jump back to a standing position.

The two of them stared at each other, her wearing a perplexed facial expression, "tell me monster, are you who the witch claims you to be? Are you Lancelot?"

The knight continued to be silent, as it ran toward her, brining a fist ready for her face.

Arotria leaned to the side to dodge, but the knight quickly brought up its leg in a spin kick, headed straight for her abodemen.

Artoria knew there was no time to draw Excalibur Ruler, so she quickly hatched a plan.

CLANG!

That was the sound heard as the knights foot collided with metal. But it was not the metal of Artorias armor, but one of another sword, for in her hands, she now held Caliburn, the sword in the stone, and by far, the mightiest of king Arthur's three weapons.

With a glow of holy aura, she forced the knight back, retaking a defensive position.

"It would seem like in the reports I received on your allies, you cannot speak, but make no mistake, that will not save you from my sword, Lancelot."

As soon as she said its name, it roared again with a deathly whale, then a magic circle formed near its hand. From it, Lancelot pulled a long sword of pure white, with a blue pommel and hilt, it becoming enveloped in the same aura of darkness covering him.

"My word, that's Arondight." Arotria said, now more weary than ever of her adversary.

Lancelot wasted not a second more, it charged forward swinging in a downward slash motion.

Artoria easily parreid it, but coughed up blood, as Lancelot landed a furious punch to her side, knocking her back some.

Clutching her side, Artoria jumped back, "to think you have that much physical strength."

Lancelot then began to charge again, but this time, Artoria was ready with a plan.

As Lancelot swung down, she cut the air itself, and a portal of golden light opened. It caught Lancelot's arm, leaving him open for her to land a strike on his side. Lancelot like his allies, did not flinch, but instead, a glowing aura of white erupted from his arm located in the portal, forcing Artoria to jump back again.

The aura engulfed the portal, and Arondight appeared, ripping a hole in the portal itself, before Lancelot removed his own arm from it.

"The power of Arondight. It can cut through anything the wielder desires." Artoria stated.

Then all of a sudden, Excalibur Ruler began to glow with an intense aura, causing both of them to look at the weapon, mesmerizing them.

"I know what I must do now," Artoira spoke, returning Caliburn to its dimensional storage space, and finally drawing the legendary weapon. Something from the weapon itself was just telling her to use it. So without any hesitation, she dashed right into the fray.

Lancelot answered in kind, as a barrage of slashes began to be exchanged between the two. Artoria parrying and dodging, as Lancelot actually dodged any cuts as well. It was like that was more important than anything Artoria was seeing.

"It doesn't want me to cut it, so that's what I must do." She thought.

Artoria then jumped back for a moment, but only to prepare something.

An immense amount of light began to swirl around the blade of the sword, even cinching the air itself.

Lancelot could tell it was trouble, as he rushed in to cut Artoria down, but unfortunately…

"Excalibur!" She exclaimed, swinging down the sword in one mighty stroke, it releasing a powerful slash of pure energy right into the oncoming Lancelot.

It having no time to dodge, took the attack head on, his feet scraping the ground as he tried not to get pushed back to far, but it did not work, as he was torn from the ground and thrown back, just as the slash exploded, causing a cloud of smoke to appear.

Artoria warily stepped toward the smoke, she still on high alert, not sure if her Armament Control was enough to finish Lancelot.

She heard a creaking, and raised her sword again, but as the smoke cleared, she was met with a peculiar site. The knight was now in fact in a one knee position, facing Artoria, like a knight of old, would do for a commander or king.

"My queen, I thank you," Lancelot said, his now heard voice, a rusty hollow grating noise, but still audible enough to be understood.

"Wha-what?" Artoria said perplexed, but had not time to ask anymore as she noticed a portal open nearby.

"Oh no, we are too late I'm afraid," as Lancelot rushed toward the portal.

Artoria did the same, hoping everything was all right with her daughter and future son-in-law.

As Artoria was dragged away by the knight named Lancelot, we were left to contend with Morgana herself. Who as a matter of fact was still floating in the same position with a smile on her face, like she wasn't even worried we would beat her in this battle.

"We need to fix that." I thought, conjuring one of my favorite magics. "Thunder!" I exclaimed, a black bolt of electricity racing from my hand toward Morgana at high speeds.

She still didn't move, even though I knew she could sense the power I put in the spell.

I wondered if she was crazy or just that good.

I got my answer a moment later. The bolt struck something that stopped it cold just inches from Morgana herself. A barrier of some kind, but I couldn't tell what kind at all. Everytime I tried, my senses got distorted somehow.

"My, oh my, what a spry young man."

The shiver got worse when she said those words, and now I was honestly worried that she would do something to my body.

Just as she finished, a slash of energy raced toward her, but was stopped by the barrier just like my bolt. I turned to see Lily, who had this red aura around her now, making me note never to piss her off for real.

"Stay away from Chris," she said, pointing Rhongomiant at Morgana, it's energy beginning to flare.

While Lily was marking her territory, which elicited a smrk from me, I was not like my analyze of the situation. In the legends, Morgana was a student of Merlin himself, who is one of the greatest magicians who ever lived, and her descendant was no pushover. That barrier just took two attacks that would have taken down a mid-class devil. And we couldn't count on Lily to break it, since she hadn't fully mastered Rhongomiant yet. Right now I wish we had it's full power, since the spear has the ability to pierce through any magic. With that, we could cut the barrier like a hot knife through butter, but since we didn't we would have to improvise.

"Lily," I shouted, "let's hit her hard."

"Yeah," she said, charging forward with Rhongomiant, while I stayed back to cover her.

Lily jumped into the air, powering up her weapon, as she landed an attack on the barrier, sparks beginning to fly everywhere from the two energies clashing.

Meanwhile, I called up numerous magic circles of elements and pure energy, and with a flick of my wrist, sent a barrage forward. There has to be a limit to what the barrier could take, and we were going to find it.

The magic attacks hit the barrier, but still nothing came even close to scratching Morgana, who was still lazily floating in the air with her smile.

"So cute," she said, then snapped her fingers, sending out a pulse wave that knocked us back and canceled out my magical attacks. "But now, it's my turn." With another flick of her wrist, she summoned more magical circles that even I could make. I'm talking the level of an Ultimate-class magician here. The inside of the circles was a dark purple color, with a crown at the center. She smiled wider this time, as she called for the barrage to be let loose at the two of us.

I reacted instantly, by conjuring a wall of holy swords from the ground, and just before it hit,I saw Lily use her gear, to form a wall of Roman Phalanx shields, so she was taken care of.

The barrage was honestly one of the hardest I had ever had to endure, not even stray devils with a bishop piece could muster this must force in magic attacks, the only thing I had to compare to was when we fought boss in practice matches, and he used his sacred gear.

It ended however after a few seconds, which sent my danger senses into overdrive. "From the amount of power I sensed from her, there's no way Morgana would get that tired quickly, so what's going on?" I thought, as I felt something touch my side. "Shit."

I slowly turned my head to see a grinning Morgana looking me right in my eyes.

"Bind."

She said that one word, and I was stuck in place, unable to move, not able to call on my magic, my gear, nothing at all. I glanced down really quickly, and saw black energy binding my body.

"Do you like that? It's my specialty spell I came up with. A binding of the soul itself."

This was bad, the soul was where sacred gears were housed, and the fuel to conjure magic, which meant for me, it was the worst possible trap to be caught in.

"Chris!" I was still able to turn my head somehow, and looked toward where Lily shouted from. She was running toward me with worry in her eyes, and then all of a sudden, the same binding that got me, had her trapped as well.

"Well, isn't this nice," Morgana said, walking in front of us. "Now, be a good girl and put the spear away."

A quick glance told me why Morgana asked Lily to do that. The light from the speat was damaging the shadows, meaning they were still a form of magic, which the spear could negate.

"Not on my life."

Morgana stopped walking around when Lily said that, and then looked to her. I couldn't see, but Lily got this worried and downright fearful expression on her face. Then Morgana slowly turned around to me, and I got the same feeling. It was like a demon was staring at me, with no trace of anything in the soul. She slowly began to walk towards me, my hearing somehow zeroed in on every step she was staking.

"Stop." Lily said.

Morgana got closer.

"No, please!" I could her tears beginning to form in her voice.

She took a few more painstaking steps.

"Leave Chris alone!" Lily was full blown in tears now.

That made Morgana close the distance in an instant. She used her palm to cup my cheeks, and then she clicked my cheek. I wanted to throw up a bit, since it felt like a snake was touching me.

"Agh!" I screamed all of a sudden, and looked down to see a hole in my body, Morgana's finger with a glowing magic circle over it.

"Your girl is being very naughty, so now I have to "punish" you for her mistakes." Then she kissed me right on the lips. Her mouth tasted really good, despite the wrongness of the situation.

"Mhm!" As she was trying to tongue me, I felt piercing on my body. She was filling me with wounds while getting off on it. So I can see where Mordred got his sadistic tendencies from now.

"-op."

"Mhm," Morgana hummed, finally letting me catch my breath as she turned to Lily.

I got a good look at her too, which made my blood boil to no end.

She was sobbing hard, her eyes bloodshot, and her cheeks a deep red, with a hoarse voice.

It pissed me off to no end, me for my own weakness, and for not being able to help Lily. I promised her that I would always make her smile, and here I was being the cause of her pain.

"I'm begging you to stop," she choked out, sending Rhongomiant away, "just stop, and I'll come with you. Just please, leave Chris alone."

How I wanted to rush to her, but I was coughing up blood, and the wounds Morgana had given me were not doing well either.

"I'm glad you see it my way." Another snap of her fingers and I fell to the floor with a loud thud, trying and failing to stand up. Seems she put most of the wounds in my legs to prevent me from doing just that.

My vision was getting blurry, but I could still see here, walking over to Lily, touching her on the head, and then I saw her fall over unconscious, as the portal was reopened.

"It's been fun my boy, wish we could have some more fun, but I promised little Lily here that I wouldn't touch you, and considering her future well… I guess I can honor this one request."

With that, she floated Lily into the portal, and she herself walked in, the thing closing behind them like it was never there at all.

That's when I finally blacked out.
