Chapter 4: Dance
Max's Point of View
For Ella's 18th birthday Nudge and I planed her a surprise party. Well more like a invited all of her friends. Nudge helped me plan the party. Step one was to get Iggy to take her to a movie and then when they come back everyone jumps out and screams 'surprise!' We rented a DJ so all her friends can dance and do teenager stuff like that. The guys that were invited would go home at nine and the girls would stay for a sleepover. Nudge planned the games (I am not good at those girly things.)
"Okay I think that's everything" I said looking around at the room Nudge and I just decorated. ."What are you talking about! We still have to get dressed!" Nudge yelled. I really didn't want to be with the girls all night; I would have rather been in Fang's room in his arms but i was doing this for my half-sister. "Do I have to go?" I asked in my five year old voice. "Yes!" Nudge demanded. "Fine" I said pouted. I was really starting to regret this whole thing. "Okay we have to go get ready!" Nudge eagerly. She was pushing me into my walk in closet.
After like five hours ,and I am serious five freaking hours of pain, Nudge made me wear a black dress with hot pink slashes across it. The dress stopped at my mid thigh and hugged my curves. Nudge wore a short girly pink skirt with a white one shoulder shirt that read Party in pink rhinestones.
"Okay I am going to go get something to eat" I said but really i just wanted to go with Fang. I hadn't seen him all day. "Don't lie to me! You want to go kiss Fang!" Nudge accused. "So what if I do! he's my boyfriend." I said not feeling the need to hide the truth. "Fine then I'm going to go with my boyfriend too" Nudge said as I was walking out the door. I froze and turned around to stare at Nudge.
"What? Who?" I asked surprise in my voice and face. I keept staring at Nudge. She blushed and whispered "Gazzy" While smiling shyly waiting my responce. "What! When?" I ask still in shock. "At the mall, but I don't know if we are a thing yet. But he held my hand" she said smiling a full blown smile. "Wow" I responced the shock wearing off. "Okay well have fun with Fang! I am going to find Gazzy and ask him if he likes my outfit." She said walking away from me.
I walked over to Fang room. I had always loved his room. It was painted in all black but his furniture was midnight blue and had a little bit of grey or white here and room was very simple; he had a king size bed a book self with his favrite books and movies a desk full of pictures of me and him the flock or just me. "Hey" I said lying next to him. It was 4:46 P.M. Ella's guests should be here any minute. "Hey" He replied landing a light kiss on my lips. I kissed him back all of a sudden wanting more. What was I thinking? What was I doing? My hands were caught in his hair and we were kissing so deep so passionately when; Ding Dong.
Fang pulled back and said "Go. you have to." "Okay." I sigh. He smiles at my responce to leaving him. "We have all night." he said but I frowned. "No we don't. Nudge is making me go to the sleepover." I said getting up from his bed; immidietly missing the warmth he was giving off. "Well in that case I don't think I can wait that long" He said laying me back down for one more kiss. "Max get down here, and stop kissing Fang" Nudge yelled. I heard small laughter. "Coming" I yell and walked out of Fang's room.
Ella Point of View
Iggy had invited me to the the beging we waited in line to buy our tickets and he held my hand. Then when the movie started he let go of my hand to put his arm around my shoulder. I got goose bumps. He was so hot, a nice guy, and best part he love me. He had seen me at my worst and at my best and still loved me.
"Ella?" he asked said trying to get my attention. "What? oh sorry." I said feeling embarrassed for staring at him. "I said we better go home" Iggy repeated. He took my hand as we walked to his we finally got to the house he took my hand again and we walked in."Surprise!" My friends and the Flock scream. Max and Nudge were in the front."Omg guys! I love you guys so much!" I said hugging them.
Max's Point of View
Ella, Iggy, Nudge and Gazzy were all dancing together, while all Ella's other friends danced around. "Wanna dance?" Fang asked. The song 'Better Than Revenge' by Taylor Swift was playing so I thought it was a fast song so it was okay. I got up."Okay" I said and walked up to the dance floor. We both started to dance but I could help but laugh at how funny I thought I must look.
Fang was really good. I guess. Gazzy Fang and Iggy just copied all the other guys at the party. All the girls danced together in a circle while the guys danced behind them. I didn't know how to dance so I looked at Ella, Nudge and Ella's friends dance and copied. All the girl mostly just moved their waist and butt. I felt silly but I hoped I looked good.
"Your really good" Ella comented, when all the girls went low. "Thanks" I said when the song ended. It was a slow song so most of the single girls went to sit and single guys to ask them to dance. I was going to go sit down when Fang said "Let's dance"
I looked around Ella and Iggy were slow dancing, and so were Gazzy and Nudge. The dance looked easy. I looked up at Fang."Please" he whispered into my ear and I couldn't say no. I nodded. We started dancing; I put my hands around his neck and he put his hands on my waist leavening no room between us. He leaned down and whispered right into my ear "I love you" "I love you too" I said and kissed him
