I know I portray Cassandra in a villainous light due to my inspiration of the last episode of Tangled: the series Season 2 but I promise she'll be reformed in the next chapter and a surprise when it's Varian's turn to wear the mask. Anyway, Enjoy chapter four and please comment of what you think!

Chapter Four-Cassandra

Cassandra volunteered to destroy the mask but every time she throws it in a fire, it weren't burn. She tried using her sword but the sword ended up not shattered but bend and twisted as if the sword itself was made of rubber. Even when she threw it from a balcony, it always flies back as if it were a boomerang. Finally she gave up and sat down. Cassandra looked over and saw the mask do the strangest thing: It gave her a facial expression as if it was mocking her as if it found her pathetic attempts amusing. This made Cassandra angrier. She heard that this mask can give it's wearer the powerful magical ability to bend reality itself. Of course, she figured that Eugene and Lance were too clueless to handle that kind of power. Rapunzel, well Cassandra trust Rapunzel but sometimes in Cassandra's opinion, Rapunzel is even too naive. She remembered how Rapunzel was just too trusting of others like Eugene and Lance…or even Varian! While Cassandra wasn't actually fond of him because he was pretending to have a crush on her for some reason. Varian was annoying and when he couldn't have his way at Old Corona, he threw a temper tantrum like a spoiled brat only difference is he tried to kill her and everyone else. Then she saw Nigel standing the doorway. "What do you want now?" Cassandra asked annoyed at Nigel for interrupting her while she worked. "Quite a powerful device, if only someone could have the willpower to use it for the greater good of Corona." Nigel said. Cassandra frowned at confusion of Nigel's odd behavior. "What are you talking about?" Cassandra asked. "If the boy, Varian got his hands on this mask, no doubt he'll use it to get his revenge. But then it'll make him more emotionally unstable than he already is! But if someone…like you, Cassandra to have enough willpower, then imagine: Corona safe from all criminals and the glory of becoming the greatest warrior that your father would be pleased!" Nigel replied. Then Cassandra knew what he was trying to do. "ARE YOU OUT OF MIND?" Cassandra shouted. "It was only a suggestion." Nigel calmly replied as he walked out of the room. Cassandra shook her head. 'There's no way I'm putting this damn thing on my face!' Cassandra thought. But then Nigel's words ring in her head: "Corona safe from all criminals and the glory!" Cassandra looked down at the mask. 'What if…I wear it just once weren't hurt, right?' Cassandra thought. Cassandra slowly lifts the mask up to her face as the sun was setting.

Everything seems to be back to nor-CRASH! Mask Cassandra busted through the dining hall where Frederic was hosting a party. "SURPRISE!" Mask Cassandra said. "What? Cassandra, I thought you were supposed to get rid of that thing! Not wear it!" Eugene snapped at her. "Cass please! Take the mask off, it's dangerous!" Rapunzel begged. But Cassandra only sneered, "Only if fallen into the wrong hands or should I naive? Huh, Raps? Besides…I'M FULFILLING MY DESTINY!" Then she turns to Eugene and Lance who both now look scared for their own lives! "Cass! Please! Leave them alone!" Rapunzel tried to reason with her. "Hahaha! I tried to warn you Rapunzel; you have to be careful…who…you…trust!" Cassandra replied before tied up Lance and Eugene and suspend them above a glass tank filled with piranhas! "AAAHHH!" They both screamed in terror. "GUARDS! ARREST CASSANDRA!" Frederic ordered. All the guards including the Captain tried to subdue Cassandra, only for their spears to be turned into snakes. All the guards except for the Captain ran screaming a bunch of school girls! The Captain race to rescue Lance and Eugene from the piranhas. "Now it's Varian's turn!" Cassandra said with a sinister, twisted grin. Then she spun off to Varian's cell into the dungeon.

Meanwhile, Nigel smiled to himself when he heard "So, you managed to convince her to wear that mask in order to kill Varian?" It was the woman's voice. "Yes!" Nigel said proudly. "Although Cassandra is now a traitor herself, but if it means to eliminate Varian, then so be it!"Nigel said. "Much better than your last attempt." The woman's voice said. "What?" Nigel said confused. "But really Nigel? Your first attempt was pathetic! Throwing the boy into a snowstorm?" The woman's voice said. "Why was throwing him back into the storm was a bad idea? For your information, the boy SHOULD have freeze to death in 30 minutes! The trip from Old Corona to here is about 2 and an half hours! WHY DIDN'T HE FREEZE TO DEATH BEFORE?" Nigel said.

Varian was sleeping in his cell with his pet raccoon, Ruddiger curled up against his stomach. Suddenly the cell door swung open with a metal bang! It was enough for Varian and Ruddiger woke up with a startle. "Cassandra?" Varian asked, confused. "Hello Varian, IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO DIIEEE!" Cassandra said threaten as she was about to swung her sword down to Varian's head when suddenly the mask disattached itself with her face, leaving Cassandra laying unconscious on the floor.
