N/A Not an owner of the characters or story of the movie The Covenant. I own only the characters I came up with, Bell family. Hope you enjoy.
Coming through the fog, near the cliff face, in a line, and catching all the attention with their entrance. Rather rock star-ish. She can imagine them breaking out into a song like Blue. There was no doubt they would rock the song too, she had witnessed them during the music concert last year during spirit day. They actually got fangirls that made t-shirts of their band, SoI. Though that had been a onetime thing, she still likes to remember the way that Caleb masterfully played the keyboards, his fingers flying over them smoothly during his solo beginning and end.
To say that it didn't boost their cockiness is an understatement. That is one thing she will roll her eyes for, they know they are irresistible, and that people await for them, ego is there no doubt. While she tried to ignore looking at them like everyone else, she spied them from the corner of her eye, sipping on her peach juice. Was it getting hot all of a sudden, she wondered, her head felt kind of heavy.
Ah the effects of Caleb Danvers. Those boys are dangerous. Shaking her head, she turned away, going over to throw her bottle into the bin.
Looking over the crowd she saw the seven bitches, her ex-friends. They were converging around Reid and Tyler for the moment. Tracey shook her head in disappointment at how her closest friend, once, was throwing herself at Tyler, literally. He looked shocked, and though he kept a smile, he was uncomfortable.
She can just about hear what Julia was saying, rather loudly over the music. "Oh Tyler, your eyes are so blue that I just want to drown in them." Tracey had to prevent herself from giggling. But really what Julia did next was too much, she had to turn and laugh. "Speaking of which, how about you and I go swimming in the ocean, I don't need a bathing suit to swim." It was pure entertainment for Tracey. Did Julia forget that its night and the waters are also cold, or that she sounds very much easy and desperate when she says that and leaned heavily on Tyler? Who by the way looked like he was shocked and thinking of how to defuse the situation, when Reid laughed and complimented Julia enough to distract her away from Tyler. It seems that Tyler was not as open to blatant flirting as his brothers, he is just a different kind of guy, has quite a lot of respect for women.
Turning away from the disaster there, she found her eyes seeking out Caleb Danvers. There he was standing, in all his dashing glory. Dashing, it was indeed a word she would use to describe him, because he gave off the feel of a perfect gentleman with some mystery. She sounds like a young woman from a Jane Austin novel, swooning at him from this distance. It couldn't be helped sometimes, how her heart rate would speed, make her face flush, her hands to tingle, it's all the effect from being in the presence of Caleb Danvers.
Suddenly someone bumped into her, sending her stumbling forwards, TOWARDS THE BONFIRE. Stepping back several feet for a safer distance, she gasped in some shock, her limbs stiff from the reaction. Turning around in the direction the person went, she looked to who hit her. Kyle Goldstein!
Of course it was Kyle Goldstein, that boy hates her, she is not sure truly why that is, but psychologically speaking, he must be insecure of her intelligence and sporty skills or attracted to her. It had to be insecurity since the second sounded very unlikely to her, he has on many occasions called her fat or ugly or nerdy or dork. Now she does approve of dork, she loves being one about fictional stories or myths in general. Very open minded. Yet like a paradox, she also loves anything to do with the study of bio mechanisms, how living things function. Which is why she is such a help at the vet clinic, she is learning from the doctor or nurses there about the symptoms of illnesses or what to look for during checkups. Though majority of the time she is just cleaning after the animals or setting up stations. Small things, with a pay that works for her. It is also at the vet where Kyle would be mean to her, he has a pet dog, and the cute Beagle has to deal with such a master.
She glared at him. And he gave a sneer as he walked backwards to his laughing friends. "Why should you glare at me Bell? You got in the way. Now you know what will happen next time." he said to her.
Tracey swallowed the need to cry and shout at him in rage. Instead she simply said "Your unbalanced Goldstein, that's why you bump into people!" she crossed her arms with a slight smirk, her answer had rebuked him.
Now he was pissed and returned to his friends jeering her from afar. With that close call in mind, she wanted to stand very far from the bonfire and Goldstein. Shivering from the near death experience, she decided to look where she knows she will feel better. Slight chance apparently, Caleb who is currently single, is flirting with a new very pretty blonde female. And it's obvious that Tracey is not the only one that noticed or liked this change. Kira made her opinion known. Though from her distance, Tracey couldn't hear anything. Yet it was clear to see that Caleb didn't like what Kira said, so he dealing with the situation. Then came Caleb's arch nemesis, Aaron, apparently to his girlfriend's rescue.
It was quite the dramatic scene. Two wolves sizing each other up. Then enter another wolf, Reid coming to the new student's rescue, wanting trouble from Aaron, a fight probably. So Aaron's right hand man said something which riled the other brothers. Tracey tensed, stepping forward a step, then catching herself, logically there was no place for her to intervene. Though why has not the new girl diffused the situation yet, since it's about her. Seems she liked the attention, because she was rather casually watching. Nothing new it would seem.
Just as the fight was about to happen, another person entered, a random player. A new student, and he said something while giving Aaron a punch in the gut, telling him to calm himself. It would have gotten worse, but suddenly the second hand man threw up spectacularly. Laughter and teasing spread in the air.
Distressed by the night's drama, she decided it wasn't going to get any better, she might as well just head to the dorms. Even as she walked by, like literally by Caleb, he didn't notice her, makes sense, she isn't much in looks to drag the attention of a male when a beautiful female is already in their view. Clearing her throat softly, she made her way towards the secret passage. Seems she made good time because not halfway up the passage, she could hear sirens of the party breakers, police.
Getting to the top in her leisurely time, she was deep in thought about her current situation. He will never notice her if she doesn't change her look, or increase her courage level and self-esteem. Obviously looks are what draws the person in even looking at the area, much like when you want to eat something. Looks good? Won't bother? Pass over? Yuck?
It's obvious then, she needs a make-over. And it cannot be some simple one that she asks some fellow female or salon lady to do for her. It must be done by a professional, someone who knows exactly what kind of girl would turn heads but also keep it in that direction. She needs coaching. But who is a professional.
While getting onto her scooter, still deep in thought, she heard the sound of the siren. Looking sharply towards the forest line, she saw that apparently someone was being chases, possibly the one of the students from the Dells. Groaning at the situation, she quickly sped away in the fog, heading straight towards the very forest. Best way to avoid being seen, not go wide, go straight at range. The fog let her not be seen. The vehicle of students, came into sight, the lights blaring her way. It was a yellow hummer. Really. Tyler's car, the brothers were in trouble, always looking for it anyway. She quickly maneuvered her bike, and took a diagonal. This way it got the cops confused, and let the boys take advantage of the distraction. The cops didn't know who to follow. Well it looks like they will be going after the boys since they sped up instead. Not bothering to look over her shoulder, she concentrated on getting into the trees, and finally onto the road.
As she was out of the woods, she laughed to herself. Seems she can get into trouble some times. It amused her how much mischief those brothers got into, and Caleb would no doubt take some persuasion to behave like a 17 year old teenage boy. Tyler would go along with Reid, and Pogue would just want to enjoy the excitement of the chase. Reid would be the mastermind behind the reason for a chase.
Arriving at the dorm area, she parked and went up, several of the students milling about, wondering if maybe this time the brothers got caught. She knows they didn't, there was no way the police don't recognize that vehicle, and they are the boys of the founding family to the town. Their rep was secure. Chuckling to herself, she went to have a quick shower in the communal bathroom. Her roommate was yet to be back, seems she found better things to do. Namely her boyfriend Ethan. Thankfully not in their room this time. She was scarred from the last incident. Too much tan skin showing, and the noise was horrifying.
Just as she was done, she passed by the new girl that was Caleb's interest, she was much more beautiful up front. American Italian beauty. Sighing a little in her mind, she turned a corner and yelped at bouncing back from the wall she went into. Wait there was no wall before, what?
Looking up slightly she recognized Reid, smirking a little down at her, and murmured an apology.
Tracey said "Accepted Garwin. Though I suggest you be more careful and don't trample on more females, you won't have any to mate with then". This surprised her, she didn't usually say jokes like this, to any of the brothers, hell she has not talked to them almost ever.
He laughed at her joke saying "Good one Bell", and continued walking round the corner to his destination.
What is going on with her? Where did her control go? Much be the night's events. Stunned for a moment, as she walked to her room, she realized he knew her name, how the hell did he recognize her, she was a year younger. Then another realization, he shouldn't even be on this floor, and the way he was heading was to the female bathroom. Oh that naughty boy. Shaking her head with a small smile, she got into her room. It was clear, so she got ready for bed in her own sweet time. Last thing being, brushing her hair while she looked out the window, continuing her wonderment on the earlier situation.
Then it hit her, Reid Garwin, Flirt extraordinaire. He knows, he is the professional. He can help her.
The idea had manifested. There was no going back as she quickly wrote it down in her diary. Putting as much details and making a checklist on her notepad. Much to be done tomorrow.
Reid will be the Hitch.
There you go, the beginning of the fun, the chase. Gosh so much drama. Hope you guys liked it. Feedback would be lovely. Thanks for reading.
