"You think he asked her already?" Minerva whispered anxiously.

"Of course Minnie, our meddling is always successful" Albus confidently replied.

"Do you think it would be wise to announce it to the entire school?" Minnie McGonagall asked.

"It is our duty to tell all the staff and the pupils of Hogwarts information that is important to their knowledge. We also have to dispel the rumors that will surface about Severus and Miss Granger being involved before their engagement." Albus replied.

"Do you think it would be prudent to allow her to be a student under his care?"

"No, that's why I plan to ask Severus to take her as his potions apprentice." Albus replied.

"Does Miss Granger want a Potions Mistress?" Minerva asked.

"Well, do you know what she wants to master in?" Albus questioned his eyebrows raised in an incredulous expression.

"She expressed a great deal of interest in Muggle studies after what happened to poor Charity, but as well to any other subject " She replied carefully.

"I believe it's always been her aspiration to become a Professor," Albus stated.

"Yes, and Severus loves Hogwarts too much to leave it. It's the perfect situation for the both of them." Minnie replied.

"She will make him happy, and Merlin knows that boy deserves to be happy after being in two wars." Albus commented.

"Yes, I can't wait to have little feet running around…." Minnie whispered.

Dear, Miss Granger

I would like to thank you for your bravery and effort in the war, The Malfoy family will always be in your debt for liberating us from a cruel dictatorship of arrogance and evil. I know coming from me, at this time after the war doesn't change the events of mistreat you have suffered in the hands of purebloods and lunatics like my sister Bellatrix. I would also like to apologize for my inability to help you when you met Bella; it was traumatic at the least to see an innocent like you, Ms. Granger to suffer for things out of your control, such as birth and class rank. But do not fear dearest child, we have decided the best we can do to help you and in the same way redeem ourselves to you is by helping you get the a place in the wizarding world, which would of course enable you to acquire whatever career or take whatever path you wish after your education at Hogwarts. We are offering you the most precious thing we hold to our hearts, our heir and only child to be married to you Hermione, when he is the richest and most handsome bachelor in all of wizarding Europe. You are a brilliant and kind girl, you understand the opportunities marrying a Malfoy would bring you, and you must also see the chance to help unite the class ranks of wizarding society by being one of its most prominent leaders, just imagine the prophets headline "War Hero, Hermione Granger 1/3rd of the Golden trio marries the most prominent pureblood bachelor, Draco Malfoy!" Just consider the humble offer we have placed at your feet... It would be our pleasure to call you daughter and to welcome you into The Most Noble and Most Ancient House of Malfoy & Black.

Sincerely,

Lady Narcissa Malfoy née Black,

Mistress of Malfoy Manor, Heir apparent of The House of Black.

Hermione carefully folded the letter and placed it back in to its envelope. The roses were beautiful, but deadly with sharp thorns along the stems. She sat down along the desk by the fire and grabbed some parchment and a quill, quickly wanting to get the nasty business out-of-the-way.

Dear, Lady Malfoy

The unfortunate history that we have in common enables me to answer pleasingly towards your letter and the kind intentions of your family. I must, for the sake of my sanity, and the future happiness of your son decline the offer of marriage that was so generously gifted upon me.

Sincerely,

Hermione Jane Granger,

Order of Merlin first class, Protector of the Magical Realm, Honorable Member of the Order of the Phoenix, designated Hogwarts Head Girl.

Hermione quickly rolled up the parchment and sealed it with the head girls crest and bid her owl, an unusual black owl named Hades to come forth. She carefully tied the parchment to his leg, and gave him an owl treat.

"Now Hades, you have to take this to Malfoy Manor. I strongly recommend you to get in and out as quickly as you can, they are not kind people." Hermione said, petting him softly. Hades hooted softly, as she got up from her chair and opened one of the big tower windows and allowed him to fly out.

Leaving the window open, Hermione went back to the large wooded desk that was partly covered with parchments and books, and sat down sighting heavily again, pulling parchment towards her again as she grabbed the quill again.

Dear, Professor Snape

Professor, it seems that I have acquired unexpected attention from the Malfoy family. Draco Malfoy has proposed marriage to me, and his mother has taken the liberty of "welcoming" me into the family. I seek advice on how to proceed with this situation after I politely refused the offer; I am unsettled knowing well enough that there will be retributions.

Sincerely,

Hermione Granger

Hermione rolled the parchment up and tied it with a black ribbon, and called out softly "Eli". With a soft pop, a small elf with huge brown eyes apparated directly in front of her, regarding her warily.

"Yes, Head Girl?" The elf squeaked.

"Can you please take this to Professor Snape?" Hermione asked.

"Yes. Right away Miss Head," The elf replied.

"Thank you that would be all." Hermione added carefully, Elf's were still to this day wary of her for her past activities in S.P.E.W. She soon found that they acted friendlier towards her, when she gave dictatorial orders and acted like a pureblood.

After a couple of hours of doing a serious amount of essays and finishing drawing up the schedules for the perfects, she concluded that was enough work for the night. Hermione wiped ink of her fingers and decided the best thing to do would be to go to bed, instead of waiting for a response from both parties, although she seriously doubted either of them would reply. Well maybe the potion's master would reply in person, she thought with a smile as she fell asleep.

"Albus, I have taken the liberty of snatching Miss Granger out of the marriage market." Severus Snape declared.

"Congratulations, my dear boy!" Albus joyfully replied.

"There is of course the inconvenience of having the Malfoy Heir after her."

"Draco would never court her if he didn't have the support of his family," Albus stated.

"Exactly, my belief is that they have set him after her for the benefits of having a war hero on their side. In case they need her support in the future," Snape explained.

"I'm sure Miss Granger, would rather be used and abused by you than Draco Malfoy," Albus jokingly declared.

"But he is younger than me, wealthier than me, and not to mention more handsome than me,"

"Oh Severus, You are the richest Potion Master in all of Europe. You are not old; you are in your prime, my dear boy. Not to take account of the fact that you have more worldly experience than the boy, plus you have more things in common with Miss Granger that you would care to admit." Albus scolded the young professor.

"A man can only hope, Albus." Severus replied with a sight.

"Now, now no need to get melancholic. I was thinking that it would be best to announce the news to the entire school….."

"Miss Granger, a word" was the command from the Potion Master, as the students were dismissed for the day. Harry and Ron packed up their stuff while casually glancing at Hermione and Snape before they left. The heavy door closed behind them and promptly locked.

Hermione started gathering stuff and putting it away, when she felt the presence of the potion master behind her. Nervously she spoke "You wanted to see me professor?"

"Obviously,"

"Well, sir, what did you want to discuss with me?" Hermione asked as she finished putting her stuff away.

"The Headmaster has been informed of our situation. The ministry has you off their black list. You are in an aspect a free witch again." Snape drawled behind her.

Hermione paused, "Thank you, Professor"

"I have talked with the Malfoy boy… He knows that you belong to another now," He added.

"Thank you," She answered simply, not knowing how to answer to that.

"Thank you what?" Snape suddenly snarled, his warm breath hitting the back of her neck as he stood directly behind her.

"Thank you, sir." Hermione replied shuddering. Only a man could command with only the power of his voice.

"Hermione you must understand that I expect complete obedience in both in the professional and personal sides of our relatively new relationship." Snape whispered

"I know, sir. I've thinking that we should start get- getting to know each other. I mean I–I don't know anything about you, eh sir," She stuttered, her face turning pink.

"Exactly what do you want to know, Miss Granger?" Snape questioned with an elegant eyebrow raised.

"Well, I would like to know if I can call you by your first name, sir." Hermione answered, her cheeks tinting with embarrassment. This man had seen her naked, and she had never called him by his given name.

The professor frowned slightly, "I daresay you can. But not in the presence of others,"

"Of course sir, I will be the soul of discretion." Hermione specified, nodding her head diligently.

"You mentioned you had questions," Severus added.

"Can you teach me how to fly, or banish into black smoke like you do?" Hermione asked urgently. Snape bit the inside of his cheek to stop from laughing at her puppy-eye expression.

"Don't be ridiculous." He replied, "You can't even fly a broom."

Hermione looked disappointed, "Did your dark mark disappear when Voldemort was vanquished?" She asked tentatively.

Severus suddenly frowned, "Not exactly. It remains the same," of all the questions she could have asked, she asked about his dark mark.

"The first time he was "gone" did the mark completely disappear or did it stay the same?" She asked urgently.

"The mark faded to a degree, but it was never entirely gone." He answered his expression going dark.

"Harry's scar has recently disappeared after he had a collapse." She whispered. "I think what we fear the most is recurring."

"No, the dark lord fell that morning. His body was vacant and removed from the grounds and away from the bodies of those who fell." He argued.

"Where was his body relocated to?" Hermione asked.

"I- I don't know. The Headmaster would know," He replied.

"Well come on, we have to talk to Dumbledore immediately." She urged heading towards the wooden door.

They quickly made their way out of the potions classroom and out of the dungeons, to the Headmasters office. Once standing in front of the gargoyle Severus whispered "Cotton candy" with a look of disdain and they were moving again, until they came upon the double doors to office. Hermione knocked softly but urgently, until the headmasters voice was heard asking them to come in.

"Good afternoon Headmaster," Hermione greeted him standing by his desk.

"Good evening, Miss Granger, Severus. Congratulations my dears," He said, blue eyes twinkling. "Please take a seat," Hermione and Severus sat eyeing the Headmaster as he gleefully continued to twinkle at them.

"Would you care for a lemon drop?"

"Albus," Snape snapped "We are here for order business,"

"What about order business? Ah…Why of course you can invite the order to your nuptials Severus, you shouldn't even have ask, my boy." The Headmaster smiled at them.

"Professor, I have reasons to believe that there's a possibility that the dark lord is still out there." Hermione burst out.

The smile that graced the Headmasters face disappeared immediately into utter seriousness, "What makes you believe that, Miss Granger?" He questioned.

"Harry's collapse was a big eye-opening for me, I reminded me of the visions he used to have as a horcrux. It also, reminded me of how horcruxes were made. I believe that it's possible that the dark lord made more Horcruxes in the second war." Hermione responded.

"He did commit more atrocities this time," Snape drawled.

"To my knowledge, the Dark Lord murdered an entire German family and Gellert Grindelwald and Pius Thicknesse by himself. Not to mention the massacre in Gringotts, although I have no idea if magical creatures can be killed to make a horcrux, since they are not entirely human. There is also the possibility of having made a horcrux, when he killed a part of Harry in the final battle." She whispered.

"The dark mark also remains intact. Faded but intact," Severus contributed.

"That's an interesting possibility," The Headmaster stated.

"Possibility or not, we cannot ignore this, Albus." Severus pressed.

"Whatever gave you the impression that I was planning to ignore this," The headmaster questioned.

"The possibility that you had already considered this situation and kept quiet," Severus drawled.

The Headmasters lips thinned, but he remained silent.

"Were you planning to leave us blind to this new threat?" Severus snapped.

"No, I believed maybe we could use a rest before we realized that the fight was far from over,"

"Professor, what happened to Voldemort's body after he fell?" Hermione interrupted.

Dumbledore sighted, "I laid Tom riddle to rest in the Chamber of Secrets, and I thought it would be more fitting, than to have it buried somewhere else out of my reach and control. To my knowledge the body remains in the ruins of the chamber."

"May we see it before we reach any conclusions?" Hermione asked. Her hands wringing in her lap from the distress of facing Voldemort dead or not.

"Yes-Yes, of course that would be a good idea," The headmaster answered as he rose from his seat.

"Headmaster, what also happened to the remains of Nagini's body?" Hermione asked as the unlikely trio made their way down to the girl's bathroom in the second floor, where the chamber of secrets was located.

"I collected the venom, blood, skin, and heart, and eggs. The rest, I burned with fiendfyre." Snape answered her.

"Severus is a dedicated Potions Master," Professor Dumbledore explained with a hand wave towards the dark man.

"Could it be possible to genetically recreate Nagini?" Hermione asked thoughtfully.

"Not precisely, Nagini was a powerful familiar. Her magic was incorporated with that of the Dark Lord. But we can recreate her would have been offspring, if needed." Severus answered carefully.

"That would be an interesting concept; I've always wondered if the link that Nagini and Voldemort shared could be recreated. " Hermione mused.

"Why, Miss Granger? Do you wish to have a Slytherin pet?" Snape snapped at her as he glared.

"No, professor there's no need. It appears that I already have one, and it's quite snarky." Hermione snapped back.

"Why you little-"Snape tried to retort but was interrupted by Dumbledore clearing his throat.

Hermione and Severus looked away from each other, and found themselves standing next the opening of the Chamber of secrets.

The Headmasters whispered lumos, and waived them forward towards the dark opening.

"Well, Miss Granger, Ladies first."

Severus casually put a pale hand on the back of the girl, causing her to look up at him in surprise before he pushed her into the dark abyss of the opening. Her screams were heard as she rapidly made her way down into the Chamber. Severus turned around and smirked brilliantly at the Headmaster.

The Headmaster shook his head at his youngest Professor before jumping into the tunnel after the head girl, not giving the Potion Master a chance to push him also. Severus let out a short bark of laughter before casting a repelling charm on himself and gracefully lowering himself into the opeing.

Severus soon found himself meeting the infuriated eyes of the Head girl, who it appeared had landed on a pile of dead snakes. He inwardly smirked and walked past her. The chamber of secrets was dusty and filthy dirty. They soon walked into the corridor with dark marble and statue snakes along the path, flooded with water up to their knees.

"Why is there so much water? I thought the charms on the castle prevented the dungeons to flood?" Snape asked.

"Well, The Chamber of secrets isn't really part of Hogwarts. Think about it as a separate residence within the castle, almost like the Professor's quarters." Hermione answered.

"Correct, Miss Granger, The Chamber of Secrets isn't protected by the charms or wards of the Castle." Dumbledore answered.

The trio continued to walk along the path until they reached the statue of Salazar Slytherin, and at its feet they found the body of fallen Dark Lord. The body was pale as death, its snake features ashy and frozen. No words were needed to express their relief that the body was still there and most importantly that it had remained lifeless.

"Where is his wand, Professor?" Hermione asked as she contemplated the corpse.

"You mean my wand that he stole after he tried to kill me?" Severus asked pleasantly.

Hermione frowned at him, "No, I mean his real wand, his original wand."

"The wand is under the possession of the Malfoy family," Snape replied.

"Why would the Ministry allow ex-death eaters to keep the wand?' Hermione asked incredulously.

"The wand was in their property, thus falling into the guardianship of the Malfoy Lord. Not that it matters the wand is inaccessible to anyone other than the dark lord. "

"A wand has a severe and deep connection to the one that wields it, in some aspects the wand is the wizard. You see, the wand is a vehicle of transportation of magic from the magical being into magical energy. The wand chooses the type of magic that it wants to conduct for, as Olivander says "The wand chooses the wizard".

"Don't you think we thought of this when the persecutions began, Miss Know-it-all?" Snape mocked.

"I thought you hadn't made the connection! There's no need to be cruel," Hermione snapped. Her face was quickly turning an unattractive shade of red, while her hair started emitting short and rapid electric shocks in the air.

"Your incompetence to stop sprouting facts as if you were an animated encyclopedia annoys me very much causing me to be "cruel" to you." Snape informed her, instead of trying to placate her.

"Well if you stopped being such a sanctimonious prick, fewer things would annoy you," Hermione instructed.

"Don't be insolent girl!" Snape snapped as he withdrew his wand from his sleeve. But Hermione was quicker to point her wand at him, since she was already holding it in her hand.

"Don't you dare," Hermione replied.

"Children, Children, settle down!" The Headmaster implored but was ignored by both parties as they stared each other down.

"Go ahead, I dare you. In fact, I give you the chance to curse me." Severus whispered.

Hermione didn't answered but responded with an expelliarmus, but unfortunately for her , the curse rebounded on her and her wand flew into the sneering Potion Masters hand.

"You tricked me!" Hermione screeched. Her hands balled into fists as she contemplated the Slytherin wizard before her.

"Of course I did you foolish child, and you call yourself a war hero," Severus sneered as he put her wand on the inside of his coat pocket.

"Well if you two are done bickering, it's time we make our way to dinner." Albus declared.

"Yes, Headmaster" Hermione replied, her head hanging in embarrassment.

The Headmaster nodded gravely at them, before whistling a few sharp clean notes. The old man then walked away from them and made his way to the entrance of the chamber. Hermione ignored Severus as he stared quietly at her. Hermione glared at him in response, she knew that it would be useless to try to get her wand back now. She walked past him, after the Headmaster as he made his way down the marble path. Hermione walked a few yards behind the Headmaster, when she noticed that Fawkes was waiting for the old man under the entrance hole. Fascinated she watched as the old man greeted his familiar with a smile before reaching out to touch a few of the golden red feathers. Before she knew it, the Headmaster and the phoenix were gone from her sight as they flew up the darken opening.

"Great, how I am supposed to leave now?" Hermione muttered to herself.

"I assume you need some help?"

"Not from the likes of you," Hermione snarled at the Potions Master who smirked at her, and smoothly leaned against the chamber wall observing her.

"Come on, Brains of the Golden Trio. I want to see your brilliance as you figure out a way to get out of this hell hole." Severus replied.

Hermione choose to not reply, but instead focused on her surroundings before concluding that there was no way out of the chamber other than the opening. Hermione thought of a spell that would allow her to ascend up the opening. As she was going to grab her wand out of her pants pocket, she remembered that the greasy git had it. She threw a nasty glare at Severus, who calmly started at her.

"Fine, help me." She snapped.

"If you insist," Severus answered back.

"Just get me out of here," Hermione argued.

"Say please," Severus evilly smirked.

"Can you please get me out of here?" she pleaded.

"How are you going to repay me?" He leered.

"Eh?" She blankly stared at him checking if he was serious, which he was. "I'll clean cauldrons for you,"

"That would be appreciated, but it's not enough," He whispered as he pushed against the wall and made his way to where she was standing.

"What is enough?" Hermione asked quietly.

"You must vow to give yourself to me body, mind, and soul." Severus replied.

"For some reason, I don't think you're kidding." Hermione replied carefully.

"I assure you, I'm not." Severus retorted.

"That sounds like a marriage vow," Hermione commented.

"It might be added to our vows if we should wish it." He replied.

"But you are serious in this situation?" she questioned.

"Obviously,"

Hermione started at the tall Potion Master as he stared back at her. His eyes were dark, like onyx. His long hair was dark as raven wings, his skin was pale and his clothes were tailored from the fine dark robes with hundreds of buttons to the luxurious leather boots that graced his feet. His lips were full and sensual; His voice was deliciously male and deadly seductive. His hands that now held his smooth wand were long and graceful. He was a warrior, and a man of great intelligence. Severus Snape was a dark wizard, with a silver tongue and hidden talents that protected those he loved and cared for. But overall, He was a powerful and ambitious man.

"Will I have shared rights to all of your books, and private libraries?" Hermione jokingly asked as she ran a hand through her hair in nervousness.

"Of course, everything that belongs to me will belong to you." Severus honestly answered.

"You know we will be forced to have children, immediately after the wedding? Even if there's a war going on," Hermione asked.

"I am aware of it," Severus replied.

"I have never had an intimate relationship with anyone," Hermione whispered.

"Then I will be your teacher once again it seems," Snape replied.

"You weren't in a relationship before the marriage law passed, where you?" Hermione questioned.

* WARNING

"No, I never had a relationship with anyone. Casual sex, or sex favors yes, but my relationships were non-existent." Severus responded.

Hermione blushed, "Can we make our way out of here, since this is not the proper place to talk about such things,"

"Why Miss Granger, where do you think would be the proper place to have this conversation?" Severus whispered "Would that place be my bed?"

"N-no, sir." She stammered out backing away from him slightly.

Severus took a step closer to her, but she backed away again. This continued on, until her back was pressed against the cold dungeon wall. Severus soon found himself standing between her legs, with breasts pressed close to his chest. Hermione's eyes were open and dilated, looking at him in wonder. He placed a kiss on her forehead, then her cheek, and gave her ear a few careful nips with his teeth, and then continued to kiss the edge of her jaw. Severus then bent his head, as he started to place open-mouthed kisses along her neck, as he felt he breathing become shallow and quick.

Severus leaned back a little to see her, her eyes were now closed and her lips were parted in invitation. He then pressed his lips to hers with a groan, and kissed her deeply. Hermione's hands soon made their way to his hair, and his hands wondered down until they were holding the top of her school blouse. With a pause from their urgent kiss, and a quick rip that exploded buttons everywhere, and soon they continued kissing with more ardor.

Severus hands soon found the curve of her bum, and quickly pushed her up causing her to wrap her legs around his waist. Since the girl was wearing her school skirt, his immediate erection was pressed directly into her hot core. His response was to grind hard into her, as he continued to devour her mouth with his. They soon broke away to breathe, and Severus took this opportunity to suck on the sensitive part of her neck where her beating pulse laid, leaving a love mark that would be exposed to everyone. Coming back to his senses, he kissed the girl hard one more time, leaving her lips bruised and swollen and pushed his hard cock into her obviously wet but covered panty pussy one last time before they both lost control.

* END OF WARNING

Severus took a step back, "We should go to dinner now,"

Severus then whispered a quick reparo at her blouse, and the buttons began flying from all directions and fixing themselves on the ripped blouse.

"Thank you," whispered Hermione.

"Come, I shall fly us up and away from this hell hole." Severus then wrapped and arm around the girl's small waist and converted himself partly into black matter and flew up carefully up the opening.

As they flew out of the opening, Severus released her from his embrace and began walking. Hermione obediently followed him, as they made their way across the school. As they reached the huge wooden doors of the Main hall, they both stopped and looked at each other.

"You shall sit by my side tonight," Severus commanded as he contemplated the girl before him. Hermione gave the impression of a girl well snogged, her long curly hair was wild; her lips were red and swollen and on her pretty white neck was the mark of belonging to Severus Snape. That such man inwardly smirked, as he offered his arm to the small witch.

They both walked past the wooden doors into the Main Hall which at their unexpected appearance became absolutely quiet. Severus spared the girl a look from the corner of his eye, and found her to be walking straight with her chin in the air. Good, she's not ashamed of me, Severus thought.

Hermione and the most feared professor in Hogwarts walked past the Gryffindor table and continued on their way to the High Table, causing the students to whisper along themselves.

Severus held a chair back for Hermione to seat next to him, as he took his usual seat to the right of the Headmaster. Hermione looked around her and found most of the population diligently staring at her, she inwardly sighted as she took a sip of water. The members of the high table continued eating without explaining why the Head Girl was seated among the faculty, and Hermione soon found herself talking comfortably to her professors as the silent man next to her regarded her every expression and listened to her every word.

But dinner couldn't last forever, and soon the Headmaster was clearing his throat as he looked at the sea of expectant faces looking up at him. "You must all be wondering why our devoted Head girl, is sitting in the High table instead of her house. So, let me be the first to state that it is my greatest pleasure and honor to announce the betrothal of Hermione Granger and Severus Snape."
