Now it's time for the long awaited moment…the one…the only…chapter 4! This chapter will include something that Boolia's story didn't offer…an outdoor chase chapter! That's not all…it will also have some events happen at…wait…I'm not going to spoil it! Just read and find out! This is chapter 4!
Perry's platypus-like flying machine flew at a super-fast rate, holding the diamond. But behind him, in a light-blue van, were the Wet Bandits Harry and Marv. "You won't get away with that diamond!" yelled Harry, driving the van. "What are we going to do now?" asked Marv. "It's what you're going to do!" said Harry. He gave Marv a shotgun. "WHAT?" Marv yelled. "Shoot down that platypus and we'll get the diamond!" Marv opened his window. "How much ammo is in the gun?" asked Marv. Perry suddenly took a sharp left turn, so Harry quickly turned left, knocking a mailbox over, and nearly running over a troop of Fireside Girls! "5 bullets!" said Harry, "Use them wisely!"
Marv kept his seatbelt on, but he learned out of the window of the van, holding up the shotgun. He carefully aimed at Perry's machine. "BUMP!" the van ran over a pothole in the street causing, "BAM!" the first bullet to miss Perry, but instead fly into a fire hydrant. A hole was made and water sprayed out like a water fountain. "HOLD STILL HARRY!" said Marv, as Harry made a right turn, just as Perry made a right turn. "SHUT UP!" said Harry. Marv took another shot… "CRACK!" this time the bullet hit the machine's platypus-like tail, but the bullet bounced off and, "SMASH!" broke open a jewelry store display window! The alarm sounded like a fire was going off. Perry planned on his GPS system, a safe ride to the O.W.C.A agency building. His plan was to get Major Monogram for help and to stop The Wet Bandits.
Marv took a third arm and fired again. "BAM!" the bullet missed and flew into the marble statue of Mayor Rodger Doofenshmirtz, making a hole in the statue's head! "DANG IT! I MISSED AGAIN!" said Marv. He then took a fourth aim at Perry's machine… "BANG!" the bottle hit a lamppost, breaking the glass and making it go out! This was now Marv's last chance and last bullet. He then carefully aimed as Perry's machine… "BANG!" the bullet flew into Perry's machine! It hit the bottom, causing wires and circuits to be fried! Perry's dashboard lit up with a red panic light. The machine began falling to the ground, right by a huge purple building. Perry tightly clutched the diamond, and slipped on a parachute bag. He jumped off the falling machine and deployed his parachute! "KABOOM!" the machine crashed into the ground and exploded into pieces! Harry pulled the van over, stopping it, and crashing into a telephone pole! The 2 men stepped out of the van, just as Perry landed onto the sidewalk right by them!
"THERE HE IS!" yelled Harry. They both charged towards him, but at that moment, "WOOSH!" Perry took out his grappling hook gun and shot it up into the air. It secured around a piece of railing. This railing was part of a huge penthouse balcony that was part of a huge building. A huge sign had the words, "Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc." displayed on the top. Perry then got to the top, and looked down over the railing as he hid up on the balcony. His plans to get to O.W.C.A headquarters might have been ruined, but he had another idea…Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz could help him stop the robbers. Usually, they were nemeses, but sometimes Perry helped him do stuff…like set up a surprise party for his daughter Vanessa (which never worked), helped him out with overcoming his fear of a bat (that be made into a giant by accident), and find a hidden treasure in a castle that was handed over to Dr. Doofenhmirtz by a relative.
Perry took out a small camera and, "CLICK!" took a photo of the robbers! "LET'S KILL!" said Marv was he ran to the front entry door. "Hold on Marv!" said Harry, stopping him, "We got really hurt a few minutes ago because we underestimated that little platypus of misery!" "This isn't like a few minutes ago!" said Marv, "This isn't his house, it's a random building with a stupid shape! He doesn't have a plan!" "May I do the thinking please?" asked Harry, annoyed by Marv's rare logic. Harry looked up at the balcony. "Hey little fella!" he called out. Perry chattered back. "Nothing would thrill me more gratefully than to shoot you! Killing off a cute little platypus isn't going to mean all that much to me! Understand?" Perry made a fake smile and nodded lightly. "But since we're in a hurry, I'll make a deal with you! You throw down the diamond and camera, and we won't hurt you! You'll never hear from us again!" Perry wrote a small note and tossed it down. Harry caught it and opened it. "You promise?" was written on it. Harry looked up, "I cross my heart, and hope to die!" he said smiling. Perry put a thumb up and ducked down. He then noticed a small pile of 4 red bricks…
Perry grabbed on and held it up. Harry thought it was the camera. "Alright platypus, give them to me!" Harry called out. "WOOSH!" Perry threw it down. Marv looked up from biting his nails… Harry moved out of the way when he saw the brick, but Marv, "CRACK!" got hit right on the forehead! He collapsed backward onto the sidewalk in pain!. "Marv, how many fingers am I holding up?" he asked holding up 3 fingers. Marv's eyes were now temporary blurry and could see more than three. "Um…eight?" he asked in a weak voice. Harry shook his head and looked at Perry, who was now smiling with delight! "Alright you platypus, you want to throw bricks? The go ahead!" Perry picked up another bricked and tossed it down, but Harry moved out of the way and "BAM!" Marv was hit on the forehead AGAIN before he could even get back on his feet. "If you don't do better than that platypus, you're going to lose!" Perry picked up another brick and "WOOSH!" threw it down again and "CRACK!" hit Marv in the forehead AGAIN!
"YOU GOT ANYMORE?!" yelled Harry. This time, nothing happened. "Come on Marv!" Harry said turning to him, "The platypus has no more bricks! He's out of them! Let's go!" Suddenly Marv noticed something that Harry didn't…Perry was holding another brick!
"Harr…Harr...the…th!" stuttered Marv, trying to warn Harry.
"What is it?" asked Harry.
"The pl…pl…pl…" stuttered Marv pointing up.
"What is it Marv?" asked Harry confused.
"The platypus…the platypus…" shuttered Marv again.
"What? I can't understand you Marv! Spill the beans! What's going on?" asked Harry, now impatient.
"THE PLATYPUS HAS ANOTEHR BRICK!" Marv finally got out!
At that very moment, "WOOSH!" Perry tossed down another brick. Harry saw it and quickly moved out of the way, "CRACK!" the brick hit Marv in forehead for the 4th and last time! "That does it!" yelled Harry to Perry, "No one throws bricks at me and gets away with it!" he turned to Marv, pulling him back up onto his feet. "Come on Marv!" they both ran through the front door into the lobby of the purple building. "Which floor do we go to?" asked Marv. "The top one!" said Harry, "That balcony looked high enough to be on the top floor!" They both ran into the elevator and Harry pushed a button that said Dr. D on it. The doors closed, "DING!" and the elevator went up! "When we catch that platypus…" said Harry, "We'll get the diamond and snap off the animal's legs and arms, and boil them in motor oil!" said Harry, now full of more anger than ever!
Hi everyone. It's the author again. This was chapter 4 of "Perry the Platypus VS The Wet Bandits". It's a little shorter than the rest but chapter 5 will be even better! And after the story, I'm writing an author's note which will explain the traps from which "Home Alone" films I've used, the alternations of the traps and the differences between Boolia's story and my version. I'll see you all in chapter 5!
