A/N- [12.8.15] Guess who's back! Sorry for the very long hiatus. I am slowly regaining back my passion for this series. I know the Rogue Galaxy fandom is very small, but it does not really matter much as long as I continue this story with ease.

Also, Rogue Galaxy is now on PSN! And it's the 10th Anniversary (Initial Release Date: 12.8.05)

CH. 3 SUMMARY- Kisala finds out that the whole coronation was a complete set-up from the very beginning. She now experiences a magnificent castle now in the hands of rogues and gruesome thieves. What is also shocking is… her groom is none other than Seed himself. What is his objective? Is he the original Seed that Jaster and Co. previously destroyed? How in the world is he still alive?

Prepare yourself for a cheesy romantic chapter.

CH. IV- Intertwining two souls together

MARIGLENN KINGDOM

It was a crazy situation in the middle of the night. There were so much collateral damages all over the kingdom. Abundance of the defenseless audience screams in panic from all the chaos that has been happening. Children and women were running away to a safe location, while others tackle the royal gates, trying to escape from the crisis. Eventually, the royal gate cannot hold the intensity of the people's strength, as it leaves a small opening. Everybody frantically escapes through the small gap, desperately getting out while pushing and fighting others off for their lives.

Plethora of the Royal Mariglenn guards, who turns out to be a disguise of thieves, began to attack the Mariglenn citizens. Longardian soldiers who are retreating are fighting off the rogues to the best of their ability. However, many of the guards were killed off from the stampede of the civilians.

Seed looks at the distant Dorgenark cruiser falling in the west sky. The dark smoke coming out of the cruiser has left a trail in the dark sky. Seed eyes narrowed when he touches the left side of his cheek. As he looks at his hand, he rubs his cold fingers to feel his blood.

The prince chuckles while hearing the screams of civilians being killed in front of him. "Hmph. To think I have to battle against that irritating space pirate again."

He closes his eyes, picturing the image of Valkog's face. "Father… you have given me this new form. Let me prove to you that I can be the perfect son you want me to be, by ruling what you treasure most on this planet," he said to himself.

"Then, I will be able to satisfy you by providing all the riches I have only for you."

With a sickening smirk, he went inside the ruined palace, not being bothered by his men looting and killing the innocent lives of the civilians and the royal soldiers dying.

UNKNOWN ISLAND

The night is very cold at the planet of Mariglenn. The dark clouds shadows over the moon, covering up the moonlight.

Jaster barely escaped from the explosion just in the nick of time. While floating at the dark water with Kisala in his arms, he gazes sadly at the Dorgenark cruiser, which is now engulfed in fire in the middle of the ocean. Machinery particles from the explosion while the oil leeks out from the burning engine. That is the newest cruiser Dorgengoa's men recently built with pride, and now rubble. At the very least, there is still one more cruiser inside the Dorgenark.

He breathes heavily from exhaustion while carrying an unconscious Kisala. He knew that there are other things to be concerned about other than the cruiser. On the other hand, Jaster have to put up battling the waves that were tossing his body while he is swimming to shore.

Along his struggle, Jaster loses several healing items from his bag. The waves hit Jaster and Kisala's body very hard, making it difficult for him to swim forward. Luckily, he manages to swim to the beach shore on time before the storm could get any worse.

Jaster sat down, coughing out the cold water from his body. Looking around, he found a small beach cove across from him.

"Thank goodness for shelter," he said to himself. Jaster quickly carries Kisala and went inside the cave. He knows that the weather is going to change quickly in this horrid night.

SEVERAL MINUTES LATER…

"Breathe! Kisala! C'mon, you gotta wake up!"

Jaster presses both of his hands onto her chest, trying to pump out the excessive water from her cold body. He constantly glances at her, trying to find any response or signs of movement.

Unfortunately, Kisala still remains unconscious.

In a frantic manner, he gently holds Kisala's head and closes his eyes. Inhaling the damp salty air, he quickly places his cold wet lips onto hers, giving her his oxygen.

Jaster looks at the woman again. Still no response.

Again, he presses his mouth again and performs CPR. At the same time, he made a little prayer inside his mind that Kisala would wake up. After all, he never wants to see her at the worst possible condition.

Suddenly, her tiny fingers twitch. Jaster slowly pulls away as he saw streams of seawater coming out from her mouth.

"U-Ulp! GUH!"

"Kisala!" Jaster cries out in pure joy.

Jaster watches her coughing out all the water from her body while slapping her back for support.

"Kisala! Oh my goodness, you're alright!"

"J-Jaster?"

Afterwards, he embraces her small body, laughing happily as the rain pours down on both of them.

The first thing she felt in a long time is the embrace of Jaster's warmth. She weakly hugs Jaster's thick neck and bury her face on his shoulder, smelling his scent.

"Thank goodness you're alive!" Jaster sighed in relief.

The Queen stares at the rogue for a brief moment in a sleepy expression. She blinks numerously, trying to get her eyesight adjusted to reality.

Soon, her vision became clear. The first thing she spotted... is her beloved Jaster, with nothing on him. She sheepishly looks at his tone body, blushing madly upon his beauty. His luscious body is covered by the white sand and the cold sea salt water.

The Queen's face flustered, but made a weak goofy smile towards Jaster.

"Good evening, my lovely fair maiden," Jaster said with a laugh. He frizzles her hair, getting the sand off of the brunette.

She slowly sat up, holding her head as she groans. Her eyes shift constantly, scanning the whole entire place covered in darkness. The whole area is nothing but a small beach cove. She spotted Jaster's equipment and her dual daggers lying right beside him. Jaster's desert seeker is laying on the ground, covered in salt. His damp clothes are on the ground as well, but not her clothing. There were several seaweeds around the shallow water, but also seashells surrounding them.

"How long I was unconscious?"

"You were out for quite a while. We crashed in the middle of the ocean… and boy, we are very lucky that there was a small cave near us," he said, quickly scanning around the dark cavern. "I guess the island we landed is deserted. Worst news is that the cruiser is busted…"

He looks around. "But other than that, we're alright! I don't see a single life here besides us."

"Oh man… that must have been a rough accident we had," Kisala said, rubbing her head.

"When we crashed, it was a messy landing. The waves were hitting us really hard, and some of my items are washed away, but not completely. I cannot even see properly because it's very dark. I almost got separated from you, but I manage to hold onto you very tight while swimming for shore. I was pretty scared for you back there, honestly," he said with a sigh.

There was a brief silence between the two.

"But hey, the CRP lesson was worth the shot."

"CPR," Kisala corrected. He chuckled for his mistake.

Kisala slowly touch Jaster's forehead with hers. He held his breath and gazes into her soft emerald eyes.

He broke the silence. "Sorry I took so lon-."

"What took you so long?" she hastily said with a cute pout. "Haha, I'm just kidding. I'm so surprised how you guys just swoop into this world."

"Hey. There's a good reason for that, you know!" he pointed out.

Clouds cover the dark sky, shadowing the full moon. Soft sprinkles of rain continue to fall as the waves grew bigger.

The wind howls ferociously as both of their bodies began to tremble from the weather conditions. "Oh man," Jaster said with a shaky voice, "w-we need to w-warm up fast. We might catch a cold from this ho-horrific weather." His partner nodded franticly as his response.

Kisala looks around and see the beach cove only covered with stones, dried seaweed and rubbles of stone. "I could hardly think that there are enough resources to create a fire, but let's see how we'll manage."

"Hey, let's not doubt the surroundings so early," the Rogue said. "You want us to freeze?"

"We can settle in by combining our body warmth together through cuddling."

He scratches his face, thinking up weird thoughts with a goofy smile plastered on his face. "We will do that after when we put up the fire."

"Ohhh alright. Whatever you say, legendary space hunter," she teases, sticking her tongue out.

As the rain continuously sprinkled down, Kisala and Jaster gathered several of dead leaves and stones. To Jaster's best of his survival abilities, he rubs two sticks together, trying to create a small fire.

"Come one….come on…"

After a few attempts, Jaster's smile beams as he saw a little smoke. Kisala claps for Jaster's small accomplishment.

"Ah, there we go!"

As the fire went bigger, Kisala and Jaster lean their bodies at the stone cold wall and huddled together. Both of their bodies were rubbing against each other that both of their face's flustered of their close contact.

The wind howls as the rain pours down heavily. Loud thunder roars throughout the darken sky as the rain heavily pours down the island.

Silently, the Rogue and the Queen watches the fire dance in the damp air. Jaster's desert seeker sword shines beautifully from the fire.

Glancing at Jaster, she notices several injuries from the crash. His left arm have several scrapes from their accident. His dirty yellow hair is all messy, and there were bruises from the previous attack back at the battle with Seed. Compared to her injuries, however, there were only a few scrapes and cuts on her body.

"We really got out of that attack huh…" Kisala sighed in relief, looking up. "I have all these questions regarding Seed, but I have no idea where to start."

"Man, tell me about it. How can Seed still be alive? Valkog and the others are already dead from our last battle, so it's impossible for him to just revive himself from the grave" Jaster said. He closes his eyes, as he remembers his whole crew raiding the battleship independently.

Kisala stares at the crackling fire, deep down in thought. "You're right about that. It's pretty surprising to see him having political power too. Hmm… I never knew he's into that sort of thing."

The Queen rocks her body slowly, figuring out Seed's existence to the best of her ability. "This is just a guess, but I'm not sure if this is the Seed we all know."

"What do you mean?"

"Think about it, Jaster. Zegram and I both saw you defeat the beast form of Seed when we were opening the Gate to Eden. And now, think of this Seed in this current situation. He may no longer have Valkog ordering him around, but we need to know what his reason in being here."

"Yeah, you are right. We need to find the motive behind his plans, and fast. Looks like the primary target is you now," Jaster respond with a sigh. He knew that there is going to be a tough time in facing him again in the future.

Kisala grumbles at his response and shook her head in disbelief. "To think that I have to have an arrange marriage! This is just outrageous!" she shouted, her voice echoing inside the cove.

"Wait a minute. Did I hear that right? You're in an arranged marriage?"

Her face looks down at the ground. "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. Nobody ever informed me the whole information of this, but the people desire me to marry him in order for Planet Zerard and Mariglenn to seal an agreement."

"An agreement of what, exactly?"

"You see, both planets have advance technology. Of course, Mariglenn is considered to be the most advanced planet when it comes to technology. If I marry Seed, there would be benefits, such as a massive increase political power. And you know what that means if two worlds have so much power."

Jaster's eyes widened in astonishment as he remembers his home planet Rosa being under Longardian law. "Are you serious? Are you telling me that they will invade other worlds?!" he yells in astonishment. Knowing Jaster, what he is afraid the most is having the slavery law in other planets.

"I am not so sure about that. Besides, I'm the only person in the royal family. As long as I'm not around, they cannot really do anything," Kisala casually answers, but have that hesitation in her tone. She knows that her only position is a figurehead Queen.

Jaster sat in silence, imagining various scenarios of absolute dictatorship.

"Jaster?"

"Huh? Oh uh, sorry. I'm just a bit shock from this whole thing. Man, this is going to be rough if we are gonna drive these people off. Even the Planet Zerard hierarchies are here. I have to say, this world is attracting abundance of high class rogues out."

The two continue watching the flickering fire while leaning on each other, feeling content and relaxed.

"Hey Jaster?"

"Hmm?"

"I'm not really fit in being the royalty type, am I," she suddenly asks while making an awkward laugh.

Jaster tries his very best to contain his laughter. Since he knows her personality, she Kisala, she has never really been the royalty type to begin with. He was about to lie, but instead, he only shook his head.

She continues the conversation, scratching her cheek. "I feel like I just waltz into my own birdcage when I first take up the offer in ruling Mariglenn. I just… I just want to prove to my Mother that I can be the proud heir to the throne, you know?"

Tears rolled down on Kisala's silky face.

"But deep down, I always want to come back to you guys. I always… look upon the starry night sky, constantly imagining the shooting star as the Dorgenark as the day goes by. When I was a crowned as the Queen of Mariglenn, people were cheering at me. Those greeting of those people made me felt like I belonged in this world… yet, I was wrong. In those eyes of my people, they look at me in disbelief and confusion, as if I am a complete stranger. Whatever I done as Queen, my activities were never a major accomplishment. Instead, I was but a figurine with no power."

She cried, burying her face in Jaster's wet torso. "My kingdom is but a complete crisis to everybody. Do I truly feel like I belong in this planet? Even though I tried to be accustomed in my new position as the Queen, almost everyone never notice me. And what is depressing is that none of the people ever informed me about anything that is happening to this world."

"Hey…"

He coughs to prepare his opinion speech and put his arms around her.

"Don't be so hard on yourself. You don't have to be queen, you know."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Think about it." He turns to her. "Even if your Mom preserves the crown for you for thousands of years, you should not force yourself to be a whole different person. Does she really expect you to rule and improve Mariglenn? What she values most is for you to be truly happy in your life."

"Jaster…" she sniffled.

"When I first met you, Kisala, you look always feeling relax of your freedom as a galaxy pirate. And you're always the tomboyish type unlike any other women I've met so far," he pauses, "except for Lilika. She's a different story."

Kisala giggles of his response.

"Anyways, what I meant to say is that never force yourself to change who you are. Being a total different person is going to intoxicate your real characteristics. Think of it like you're creating a mask. You may put up with this act, but in the end, it would never really hold up for long. Eventually, Kisala, you will feel miserable inside. Besides, I don't really like seeing you experiencing that pain."

Kisala places her hand on her chest, as felt a tinge of warmth touches her heart from Jaster's speech.

"To be honest, Kisala…" Jaster looks up. "You may laugh at me for this, but the Dorgengark ship feels empty without you along. I'm here to steal you away, but I cannot just force you just yet, can I?" he laughs from his speech. "It's your homeland anyway, and you're in a tight situation right now. But I am determined to stick with you until this crisis is over. If you really feel that Mariglenn is not the place for you, then there's a place that you can always be belonged to." He turns to her with a soft smile.

The Queen wipes her tears away as she gazes at his optimistic face.

"And you know where that place is. Also, there's someone waiting for you to return, other than Dorgengoa!" Jaster winks as he points at himself, chuckling.

"Oh Jaster…"

Silence has filled up the air.

Kisala leans her head on his broad shoulders. "Now I really feel like I am having second thoughts of my new job now, haha."

The rogue blinked a few times in astonishment. "Eh?"

"Honestly Jaster, do you really miss me that much?" Kisala laughs.

The rogue felt dumbfounded in Kisala's cheerful response. A smile slowly crept up on his face, as he knew a feeling that she would reconsider.

Jaster scratches the back of his head and made a goofy smile at her, shrugging.

"Man, you can read me like a book, huh. Can you read me that easily?"

Kisala pinches his cheeks while blushing. "Well, you obviously have a tough time hiding your emotions, you know."

"Heh. You know, my mission is to steal you away."

"I know that, of course. I'm not afraid of you to take me away. Unfortunately, I am not letting you sweep my feet off this land just yet."

Jaster stared at her in confusion.

"Even though my kingdom is in crisis, I want to make a change, even if people viewed me with mix emotions. I may be the worst inexperienced Queen ever, but I want to do something to help Mariglenn. Something that the people will remember me by," She paused as she looks at her lover, "that is, if I have a time limit."

He put his hands behind his head. "Hey, you have all the time you need. The Dorgenark is going to stay here for a long time anyway. Besides, I'm keeping a close eye on you until this is all over."

"You sure?"

"Of course. Think of why Dorgengoa and I crash into this planet anyway," he said, placing his hand on her tiny shoulders.

"Thanks, Jaster."

"No problem. Just don't ditch everybody like last time, alright?"

She laughed. "Yeah. Sorry about that. Also… thanks for helping me back there, Jaster. You're one daring man in saving me at the worst possible moment."

"Hey, I gotta save you from that crazy situation with seed. Besides, you saved me a couple of times in the past. This is my personal way of making us even."

"Oh?" Kisala said, pressing her body on Jaster's warm body. He nods at her with confidence.

"I am determined to stick with you all the way. Let's just save the questions later for tomorrow…"

"Gotcha…"

Kisala and Jaster both stare at each other, gazing deep to each other's eyes. No words were spoken as their eyes can read each other's feelings.

Slowly, and silently, their faces were drawn close to each other. Kisala's tears rolled down as she desires something like this very moment for a very long time.

Clutching Jaster's chest, the two slowly close their eyes in unison. The wind echoes inside the small beach cove they were in. The strength of the wind was so strong that the fire faded away, leaving only the smell of the wood in the air.

Closer, both the Rogue and Queen could feel their breath tickling their face.

Finally, Jaster's lips finally locks with hers, as they finally made a long, soft kiss. His strong arms wrapped around he lifted her up, placing his Queen on his lap.

Their soft kiss turned passionate, as Kisala's mouth slightly open. Jaster took the opportunity in slipping his tongue inside, tasting her as well as feeling her. It was the very first time he have ever felt the love of a woman in his whole entire life.

Within the darkness and the storm, the two lovebirds will never forget the night of their reunion.

AN: Thanks for reading this chapter! I want to have their relationship progress because both Kisala and Jaster are overdue of that for a long time. I also want to see how well I can write a good (yet intimate) romantic chapter. But alas, I need to correct the errors the past chapters. Seed may come back, but we still have yet to see his true intention.

Anyways, happy 10th anniversary to the Rogue Galaxy series! See you in the next chapter!
