Sasuke is.., where?

Naruto woke up feeling exhausted. Every limp in his body felt like it weighed a ton. Just keeping his eyelids open was a hard task. To put literally, Naruto was drained…

"Good morning, Naruto." Tsunade said from beside him. He turned his head and gave her a tires smile. "Hey..." his voice was raspy, probably from lack of talking. "How are you feeling?" The Hokage put a hand on his forehead and knitted her eyebrows. "Where is everybody?" He asked.

The last thing he remembered was Sasuke dropping him roughly on the ground, screaming something angrily and suddenly chidori sparks were flying around. He had fainted quickly, which made him wonder about the outcome of the fight. Naruto was a better ninja than the bastard after all, he thought to himself.

"Oh, you know!" Tsunade started dipping a towel in a bowl of water, "Their out on missions or on some type of meeting or something, relay, it depends on who you´re referring to." She smiled warmly and patted is face with the wet towel.

Something in Naruto flared up. A big, red, blinking lamp flashed in side of him. "Tsunade? Where´s Sasuke?" The tone of his voice was threatening, but not really intimidating in his current condition.

Tsunade sighed. There wasn´t any point in keeping it from Naruto any longer then she had to. The outcome would be the same whether she said it now or later.

"Naruto… Some Akutski members attacked you and Sasuke on your way to the hospital. No one really knows where Sasuke is, but you were also considered missing until we found you in front of a hospital in an other city." Naruto furrowed his brows, "But where is Sasuke?" Tsunade glanced around in the room, "I don´t know, but there has been some rumors floating around." "Like what?" Another sighed escaped Tsunades lips; "That Sasuke has joined them in order to make a new war…" "WHAT?" Naruto threw himself up in a sitting position; "That can´t be true! Then why would they just leave me be? I mean, I have the fucking Kyuubi inside of me! They wouldn´t just leave me there, in front of a fucking hospital! I was apart of winning the war the last time!'"

Tsunade pushed Naruto back down on the bed, but he was fighting with his last powers to sit upright. His voice had broken several times during his screaming fit and angry tears threatened to spill. "Naruto! Calm down!" Tsunade yelled. "Like I said, there only rumors, we don´t know anything for sure yet. And remember, your points are valid! We´ll figure this out." Her voice became slower and calmer by each word. In a way, she was reassuring herself. Like she had said: No one knew where Sasuke was, and why he was there, but everyone knew that Naruto would find him and figure this all out, just like he did last time.

Three days had passed since the day of Sasukes disappearance and Naruto had used that time to recover. It had been strange to go three full days without training, but even stranger was the fact that he hadn´t heard any of Sasukes rude remarks or his face for any sign of him at all. In a way he missed them. Even though they were irritating, they were also comforting in a way. It hadn´t been easy going back to a friendship after the big war. Fighting Obito and Madara had taken a big piece of him back then, but it was all worth it now that he had gotten so close to Sasuke again.

But somehow, his disappearance had gotten even harder to handle this time around.

An Anbu stopped Naruto in his tracks on his way from his apartment. "You are expected at the Hokage office." And as quickly as he came, he disappeared. He couldn´t help he sigh and the goose bumps. He knew Tsunade had asked for him for only one reason, she had news about Sasuke.

Naruto threw himself through the door opening. "Naruto!" Sakura yelled her hallo, while Kakashi just gave him a lazy wave. Naruto ignored the two and walked over to the Hokages desk and leaned over it: "Any news about Sasuke?" Tsunade sighed, "Naruto calm down…" "Naruto.. We´re all worried about Sasuke, but ignoring us won´t make you find him! We´re here to help you search for him!" Sakura put in her two cents while Kakashi yawned.

With his head high he turned around and faced his two comrades, "look, I´m sorry, I´m just really worried about where Sasuke is. Hell! I just had him back and he leaves again?! He always complained about Itachi leaving him behind, how does he think I feel? Get left behind by my brother, my only family, TWICE!" Naruto took a deep breath and dried the tears on his face with the back of his hand.

Sakura and Kakashi both looked at him with pity, making him feel even more vulnerable. "Look, just forget about my feelings. We just have to focus our minds on getting Sasuke to come home" he paused "again…"

Tsunade coughed loudly, obviously to get the teams attention. "I have some information to help you guys on the mission, but-" her eyes got serious, " once again Sasuke is a rouge ninja, which means he has betrayed or trust, the village and everyone in it. Even though you might manage to take him back here, it doesn´t mean he will be let of as easily as last time. He will be put in front of the court and judged on the same basics as everyone else." Tsunade fastened her eyes on Naruto and continued to speak, "Naruto, now is the time you really have to consider if taking him home is the right choice."

It was like everything froze by her words, the air had gotten thick and heavy and everyone looked stunned by her words. Was she telling them to just give up on Sasuke, that there was no point in taking him home again?

Everyone in the room looked at Naruto in expiation, waiting for his answer. He turned his head and starred out the window for a couple of seconds before he turned back again to look at Tsunade. "I would like for this to become my personal mission, everyone else will not take any part of it" he glanced up at his comrades, "I´m going to decide what I´m going to do with the Teme when I reach him. In other words: This isn´t the villages problem anymore, I´m going to take care of this, alone."

Okay! I got completely different in my writing style in this chapter. The plot also took a new turn… I can´t say I´m happy about this chapter, but when I write, I loose all the control of what is actually written and I actually don´t realize what I´ve written before I´m done, haha!
