[A/N In this chapter I'm going to be doing some pretty unique things. I promised character development for many OC's and by golly you will get that character development. This will take place in the views of all of them as they are forced into deadly combat with Hero Killer: Stain in a simulation machine. Of course there will be plenty of Isekei humor, and don't be afraid to leave a review with suggestions and the like.]

Sleep did not last quite long enough. We arouse to the god-awful noise of Bakugo shooting off explosions on cast iron pans. That and banging them repeatedly too. We got up from the tile floor, (they hadn't gotten us our cots yet), and started rubbing ourselves all over, trying to get the stiffness out of our joints.

Except for Rex, who spent all night on a mattress. He said that he couldn't use his quirk to live luxuriously, or apparently anyone else either. To each their own, but a mattress would have been great.

Billy looked straight at Bakugo, "What do you want to beat up kids to get your kicks again?"

Bakugo, "Come on that was instructional."

I asked "How, was that instructional."

"You have a lot of power hot stuff, but your form is terrible."

I looked straight back to Billy, "Did this elderly man just call me hot stuff?"

The next thing I knew, I saw Bakugo right in front of me, breathing down my neck, with eyes that were almost popping out of their head with rage.

With a yell that blew my head slightly backwards, "Got a problem with it!?"

As I wiped the blood from my ears, I said, "Um… No."

He turns his back, "Good."

Then he waves his hands in a beckoning fashion, and calmly states, "Now follow me, we have actual training to begin."

I shook my head, I just don't know how to deal with him.

In the end we followed him, because we had no clue what he'd do to us if we didn't. I'll also admit, we may have been curious about what the actual training will be like. As crude and tacky as most of it had been, it actually worked quite well.

He lead us to this large room, which thankfully was on the other end of yesterday's incident and even had a tarp covering the hole in the roof. Inside it was something that we'd never expect to see. A Nerve Gear. For those of you unaware, the Nerve Gear was a failure of a full dive system. It could allow you to entirely live in a virtual world, and feel every single sensation.

Except for the fact that it only had one exclusive title. That and it kind of got a low score with the critics after trapping 10,000 and killing several thousand people. Biggest gaming disappointment since Half Life 3.

However, it is unique that they would use something like this as a training simulator.

I ask Deku, "How did you get your hands on to this?"

"Well, Iida bought it on a premium discount."

"Was this discount after the deaths of loads of people?"

"Maybe."

"Is this ethically responsible for an orphanage to do?"

"Potentially."

"Why are we doing it then?"

"Well, Iida got this thing like 60 years ago. He really wanted to play Tetris on it, and so he did."

"Wait, you guys have a jailbroken Nerve Gear?"

"Yup. Now we have training sims on it. Give the new recruits something, generally it's not the strength of their quirk at fault but how they use it."

I swear I feel like he specifically looked straight at me for that one.

"Hey, why ya looking at me?"

"Well, you can't swing randomly when using more then 100% of your power."

Bakugo hopped right on this conversation. "Yeah you, you get to go first after that stunt."

I said, "Okay, just tell me when I get to start."

He screamed now, and the next thing that I know is that the Nerve Gear was suddenly slammed onto my head. In the next moment I could feel my brain be kinda tingly, similar to when I have to remember the 7ens in the multiplication table.

Next I found myself in a dark alleyway, facing a shady looking man with a really cool scarf. I waved my hand to him, saying good morning. In an instant he had come close to me, and the next thing that I knew was the feeling of cold steel easily making its way through my body before I could react.

I closed my eyes feeling a pain that is unimaginable, and braced from the death that I knew was coming. As the last of my consciousness faded, I found myself standing up in an alleyway. I began jittering as I noticed that the shady man was still there.

I yelled to the jittery man, "Hey! What's the big idea!"

This time I saw him approach me, and pull out a long dagger with a serrated backside in addition to the very sharp front. I dodge to the side, and all he managed to give me was a paper cut. I sighed a breath of relief until I saw him go to lick up my blood from the blade like a total creep.

When he did so, instantly the blood in my body seemed like it was restricting everything, not allowing me to move. In effect my blood became like an aunt's hug.

It dropped to the ground quickly, and I couldn't do anything but look up at this man in sheer terror. He spoke the first words that I ever heard from him.

"I'm Stain. People know of me as the Hero Killer. Now perish, you fake hero."

His blade came down and I knew that it was over. I thought about how I could counter his blades, but until then I concentrated everything I had into overclocking, this guy was no joke. As I came back into the alley, I felt myself hitting over 160%. I charged blind, like I did with Bakugo, and Stain knew this. He quickly swerved to the side of my leap, and caught my exposed side with the tip of his blade, and licked the blood of it with the same fluid motion.

My body, burned and stuck, was already preparing for what I knew would happen.

Yes, if you are wondering, once you are in there, you forget that it is an exercise completely, and just do as instinct calls. Well, I didn't know it but I actually spent two days in the machine slowly figuring it out with my rock brain. After the first few hours all my classmates had left, not wanting to watch any more of my exploits on the screen there, and soon all that was left was Deku.

Even Bakugo had gotten his thirst for violence satiated by my numerous and frequent failures. But Deku kept watching, apparently he saw something. He thought to himself the whole time, "Two days? The most impressive part, he hasn't had a run where he seems to give up inside. Every single time, he gets better and thinks better naturally. I can tell he really isn't a planner, but his sense is always getting better."

After the two days in there however, my mind was really beginning to become fatigued with all of this extra thought that it had to constantly compute. Stain easily canceled out all of my speed and everything.

Either way, I knew that this time would have to be the time. My mind just couldn't take any more. Several movements were just survival instinct, but that has improved tremendously as well. I wasn't planning on using this piece, but it was a last resort so, I kinda had to.

I talked to Stain trying to stall for some time until I could do it. Thankfully he seemed the type that was interested in this sort of affair.

"Are you familiar with how proteins can easily fry when prolonged to heat for long periods of time?"

He stopped in his tracks, "Yes."

"Well, obviously mine are a bit more impervious to this."

"Obviously, what's your point?"

"Their not perfect, so I have to be careful."

"Your point?"

"I'm about to have an oopsies."

My body normally releases heat very well, giving that fire that everyone knows and loves. However, in a snap, I can close off all of my coolant features, ramping up the thermal energy my body holds, allowing more to be used. However, it starts to fry the proteins even in my body.

I start to feel the heat build up hotter and hotter. My muscles are convecting this heat, amplifying it. Soon enough I feel my Overclock go far over 300%.

Next thing that Stain knows, I'm right behind him.

He got one look at me, my eyes having flicks of flame, alongside other flicks of flame that covered my other parts of the body closely.

I speak, my voice harboring an uncharacteristic amount of resentment.

"You know Stain, you really deserve a pat in the back."

My hand simply patted Stain in the back and he went flying into one of the walls of the alleyway. Then he went through about 3 or so more, and just went still.

"I had an oopsies." I said as I passed out from the extreme heat stroke. Also, the Nerve Gear vital sensors put my body fluid percentage at 40%.

They disconnect me from the Nerve Gear, and start to congratulate me, but find me fast asleep in the chair, not to wake up.

Fortunately, none of the other classmates were failures like me, so their experiences were much shorter then my own.

In fact you can ask them about it yourself.

[A/N Yeah I had to break this chapter up into two parts. Sorry about the time off guys, I got hit with a cold really bad for like 2 weeks straight.]
