Trails of Love

First Trial- The mission III: Rukia's thoughts

Rukia dragged Ichigo in his soul form to a hollow's location. "Eh Rukia where the fuck are you dragging me?" He yelled at her. She looked at him with a glare. "To fight a hollow. Where else would we go?" She asked him with ice laced in her voice. He jolted his head at her, she whacked him. Rukia was so mad that he was very depressed. The hollow roared like no tomorrow.

"Ugh make it stop!" Ichigo groaned at Rukia. She threw him down in front of the hollow. He groaned and moaned again. "Ugh I guess I have to take care of it." He said with a glare. She rolled her eyes and just glared at him. "Take care of this damn thing before I freeze you." She said with a icy tone. He shivered as he took off his back his zanpakuto, Zangetsu! "Damn it!" He said as he was sent flying. Rukia shook her head at the carrot top. "Get up Ichigo! Face your fears! Do not hold back! If you hold back, you hold back your heart, your love and friendship will all be for nothing!" She yelled at him.

Ichigo growled as he got up. "Shut up Rukia Kuchiki!" He barked at her. She blinked and grinned. "Oh someone upset huh? Oh come on." She teased him. Ichigo anime veined at her. "Okay I get it!" He said as he waved his sword at the hollow. "Getsuga Tensho!" He yelled and let loose a wave of energy at the hollow destroying it. Rukia clapped her hands. "Good job. Seems like you are back to being the same old same old." She grinned. She started thinking off subject. "I wonder if toshiro has learned his lesson yet?" She thought to herself. She sweat dropped as she thought about him.

"Rukia you know you are such a pain in the ass." Ichigo said with his voice laced with venom. She grinned a bit. "Yes I do in fact now that. Renji tells me that all the time." She said with a smug look on her face. He face palmed and started walking away. She ran to catch up. "So I am taking it that you are not so depressed anymore?" She asked. Ichigo sighed and shook his head. "Not so much anymore." He said with a small grin.

Rukia's inner thoughts on the way back~

She was in deep thought. She could not shake that Toshiro may think she is weak. She had to hold back tears from just thinking about it. Ichigo noticed something was wrong. "What is wrong Rukia?" He asked. She nodded. "Well Toshiro- I mean Captain Hitsugaya and I Have been not talking today." She said with a low voice. Ichigo raised a brow. "Since when was she so close with Toshiro?" He thought. He shook the thought from his head. "Why not? Did something happen?" He asked in reply.

She nodded and this time a few tears did fall. "We had a argument." She choked out. Ichigo hugged Rukia. "What did he say? I will tear him a new ass." He threatened. She told him what Toshiro said, tearing up here and there along the way. Ichigo tried not to get mad. "He is a moron Rukia, He don't see that you are strong. People do get hurt, but not on purpose. It is something that happens." Ichigo said with a small smile. Rukia sniffled as she tried to whack his arm hard but missed. "You should talk but Arigato Ichigo." She replied. He smiled. "Douita Rukia, Douita." He replied as they entered the school.
