I'm soo sorry I haven't updated in such a long time. I know I said I was going to update like a month ago, but I have been super busy and I have had major writer's block and I finally busted through it today. Okay here is finally the next chapter to this story.

Chapter 4:

Falling Back into Your Arms

Sounds came from the door making the brunette puts her legs on the ground and strolls over to the wooden object. She opens it a bit seeing a smiling blonde standing on the other side of the doorway. She was smiling ear to ear. "Hey Han." the brunette greets opening the door completely before walking away from it. She moves over to the stained coffee colored sofa couch. Spencer sits down with her legs crossed over each other grabbing ahold of the coffee on the table that was made just right. Black. Hanna smiles a bit before grabbing the other coffee sitting next to Spencers.

"Hey Spence. I got a text from Wren saying to take you out shopping for a hot dress. Is there something I should know about?" the blonde inquires letting her eyebrow arch up with curiosity. Spencer scrunches up her nose before pushing the coffee away that was starting to dehydrate her esophagus. "Oh come on. Its not like I'm going to text Toby the details."

"You have been talking to Toby?"

Hanna opens and closes her mouth a couple of times trying to figure out what to say next, but Spencer stands up anyway with an angry expression plastered on her face. All Spencer could see at this point was red. Her cheeks started turning a bright red making it look like she had a thick layer of blush on it.

"Seriously Hanna. Why have you been talking to Toby? What did you say to him exactly?" the questions just started floating out of her mouth at a rapid speed. In some weird way the hockey player didn't want to know some of the information that Hanna knew. She didn't want to know the possibly of Toby trying to get back together with her. "Me and Toby are never going to get back together. I'm getting married in a couple of weeks. I love Wren."

"I'm sorry Spence, but I couldn't help myself. I know how happy you were with Toby last year and I wanted you to be that happy again with him." Hanna pleads for the brunette's forgiveness, but Spencer sits there like a statue trying to figure out why exactly her friend would do this to her. Spencer clasps her hands together before pressing one of her fingers to her lips trying to wrps this around her head. She loved Hanna like a sister, but sometimes she annoys her like a normal sister. "Can we still go shopping?" the blonde questions with a tiny smile with big blue eyes.

A laugh erupts from Spencer's mouth making her hand come in contact with her darker pink lips. "Okay Han. I forgive you, but please don't talk about Toby. I'm trying to forget about him." Spencer pleads before grabbing her pea green coat laying neatly folded on the back of the couch ready to grab. The blonde laughs a bit before picking him the one straped purse that was a blue shade matching her sparkly blue eyes. "Let's go."

The duo moves to the door opening it and leaving the house to go shopping.

Wren was standing over by his friend who was dressed in a black hoodie. "I need you to do something for me. Im afraid that Spencer is going to leave me for this particular guy." Wren coughs out before pulling a picture of the carpenter who had those unforgettable topaz eyes. "Here is a picture of him. I need you to get rid of him. Soon."

The black hoodie nods a couple of times before making his way out of the house to his trail to find this man. Wren keeps his eyes over his shoulder watching the hoodie until he was out of sight. Pulling out his phone before pressing Spencer in the recent calls list. "Hey Spencer."

"Oh hey Wren. Hanna and I are busy shopping right now, so I can't talk. I will be home in a couple of hours." Spencer quickly rambles on. Wren smiles loving how his woman was built.

Wren peers over at the calender keeping his eyes locked on the date November 6th. "Okay Spence. I should be home when your home. My mom picked a perfect date for us to get married and I could agree with her."

"What date?"

"November 6th." Wren answers with a smirk plastered across his face. He heard a faint cough on the other end of line. He thought he was going to hear her propose another idea, but she didn't instead he heard her faint quiet voice that was very shaky at this point.

"Umm... okay I can't wait. I love you." she finally says giving the closure to the conversation. She felt her heart pumping at a rapid speed as she closed the phone with a tear tricking down her face. This couldn't be a coincidence at all. She knew better. She could tell by the way he said it that he knew that the date was special to Spencer. Her and Toby's anniversary. She didn't know how or where he got the information from, but it had to be from a reliable source.

Hanna gave her a concern expression as her eyes danced on the dresses hanging in front of them. The blonde young woman was tapping her long painted finger nail to her perfect chin trying to figure out what dress was prettier. Her nails was a shade color of mint with a sliver line at the very rip of her long perfect trimmed nails. Her eyes were blue with black as an eyeshadow and a thick layer of mascara on her eyelashes making her ocean eyes pop. Finally the eyes stayed on one dress that was a purple color with a slit coming all the way up to the mid thigh. "Spence, I think I found the perfect dress to suit your incredible dress and if I was a guy I would want to rip it off you."

Spencer shakes her head a couple of times, but Hanna keeps dangling that purple dress in front fo her coffee beaned shaded almond eyes. She finally lets out a sigh and clenches onto the dress strolling into the dressing room area. As soon as Spencer is out of sight she pulls the iphone out of her blue purse. Typing a text out to someone. Mission is still on track. You need to do your part though. Talk to you tomorrow. -Hanna.

Spencer and Wren sat across from his mom who was pouring away with tequila in hand. "I'm Jayda. Wren's mother your Spencer the one who stole his heart. Hopefully this time he actually ties the knot with a Hastings." the mother jokes making Wren send a glare her way. Spencer awkwardly shifts in her seat taking a sip of her sweet ice tea with a lime on the top of the glass cup. Wren puts his hand ontop of Spencer's trying to reassure her.

"So Ms. Kingston. How are you doing?" the brunette questions pushing her dark brown waves behind her ears trying to start conversation with this woman who already had an opinion about her. Jayda gave her funny look completely ignoring the question before turning to her son.

"So my dear son. How have you been?" she asks leaning forward and pinching his cheeks while chuckling a bit. He laughs a bit before answering her question. Spencer stares off into space for a couple of moments before peering back over to her fiance.

"I need to use the restroom." Spencer tells them picking her purse up and strolling over to the bathroom with a frown plastered across her face. She stands at the door for a few moments comtemplating whether to leave or stay. She finally chooses her answer and goes to the main door leaving her fiance and his mother at the restaurant. Putting the coat around her arms before pushing opens the door. Letting the cold air hit her petite body sent chills running down her body. She bites her lip when she peers over at a familiar truck sitting in the parking lot.

He gets out of the vehicle and strolls over to the main door without glancing up for a second. "Toby!" Spencer yells trying to gain his attention that was focused on something apparently more important. His eyes finally look locking his topaz eyes with her coffee beaned shaded eyes. His starts making his way over to her shivering body he could see the goosebumps on her arms as he walked up.

"Aren't you cold?" Toby questions arching an eyebrow as if he was challenging her. She rolls her eyes a bit giving him that what-do-you-think look. "Never mind. Do you need a ride? I can give you one you only live a couple of miles from here. Right?" he inquires grabbing ahold of her arm and pulling her towards the tan truck that they once called their baby years ago. She puts on foot in front of the other finally reaching for the cold metal door handle. She slides into the vehicle and shuts the door buckling her seat belt. The memories start floating into her brain making her head dizzy. She hated this feeling when she was around Toby. The butterflies would start fluttering at the pit of her stomach making her want to throw up. She knew that the feelings for Toby was starting to arise once again.

He pulls up to her house with a smile gleaming on his face. Putting the truck in park before shutting off the engine completely. A mantle of silence was around the duo as they sat in one of their main places for a couple of moments. The aroma of dust mixed with gas filled their nostrils. Spencer made the first move by opening the door of the truck. Toby makes the same move strolling up the pathway to her house. She puts her foot on the slick wooden stpe making her slide backwards falling into the arms of Toby. He catches her in his arms with her face now inches from his face.

He helped her get back on her feet. She could smell his breath of peppermints. She gives him a small smile feeling her lips tug at the corners. "Bye Toby," she finally coughs out of her mouth.

"Bye Spencer."
