At the Sakuraba family home

Nodoka leads the girls to their father that was in the tea room. Nabiki was the first one to see her father and ran up to him and gave him a big hug. "Daddy where's mommy?" Akane asked her father after she hugged him with her sisters. "Akane baby, your mother is sleeping. The doctor said we can see here after supper okay, so why don't you three go out to the barn and play with the animals until I come and get you?" Soun said trying to hide the sad look that Kasumi knew as to what was happening. "Yes father, dad, pappy," the three little girls said at once. The girls followed one of the maids out to go play.

Soun looks up to Nodoka and just sighs. "Its going to be so hard to tell them what I'm I going to do," and he starts to cry. In a loud voice that scared Soun, "Stop this foolishness! I don't know what's going to help, but you're not going to let those little girls ever see you cry. Do you understand me? "Where is the man that could fight me to a draw 2 out of 3 times? Those beautiful little girls are smarter than that. Do you know that Kasumi knows her mother was dying? She asked me on the way here if it was her time and all I could do was hold her and nod my head. Think about it. Akane is just turning seven, she has no clue what death is. Think what you are going to do. I will be there for you because your wife is my best friend, but I will not stand by while you fall apart. You need to look after your daughter, Mr. Soun Tendo, or so help me God I'll make what I do to Genma a dream come true of what I'll do to you. Do you understand me?" Nodoka, now a blazing inferno, starts to pant and try to calm down and breathe deeply. All Soun was thinking is she's scarier than the master. All Nodoka could do is from tearing Soun's head off was to walk away. After a few hours it was time for dinner to be served. The girls and been out side most of the time Nabiki was learning to ride on of the horse while Kasumi was in the garden talk to keep about flowers and herbs to plant and when to harvest them, Akane was in the dojo that was on the other end of the house watching the guards spar. That's how Izumi and Mei found then when it was time to eat. After getting all the girls the two older lady s lead them up to Asuna's old room to see if the could find them more appropriate clothing for dinner.

Back to Genma and the boys

It had taken the group four hours to get to the shrine. Genma had to care the rest of the gear an hour or so in to the hike because ranma hand to help Ryuma keep up with the hard pace Genma was making them keep." where her. ranma get wood for the fire and you my lazy son go get the water from that well be hide the shrine." Genma ordered ranma and Ryuma while he picked the lock to the main building." ranma and Ryuma walked of together not really under standing why their dad was in bad mood the had made it to the shrine just before sunset." ranma, why dose this place look so abandoned and why are we here if there is no one to teach us any thing." Ryuma asked d with a kind of tired look on his face. "bro, I don't know but I have a bad feeling about this trip. Just remember what mom said don't trust pops to tell you the whats going on, and if something was to go really wrong find a cop and tell that we are from the Sakuraba clan and we need to find are grandfather." ranma said after think about it and remembering what his mom said to him and his brother ever time there dad was not around, after the cat fist she had got really scared that something like this would happen.

Sakuraba house

after dinner the girls are sent to go take baths and do there homework. In the study Mei a retired high school teacher is helping Kasumi with a division and Nabiki is doing history while Akane was reading a Disney book.. this went on for about an hour and then it was time for baths and getting ready for bed. The maid had set up an another bigger guest bad room for the three girls to sleep in on the second floor and down on the other side of the house from there mom.

It been just an hour or so after the girls lay ed down when the doctor sent a maid to get the adults."Saotome Nodoka-sama, the good doctor would like for you to come to the guest room he says it's almost time." A maid bows at the door to the tea room. "Thank you Kari, will you be a dear and have the girls come to the sitting room down the hall, and inform my mother that she may be needed.

It was some what sleep gorp of girls that came down the halls when the could see the adults had a sad look on their faces and the mothers door open and hear there dad talk to a priest. Nodoka and mother had set down the girls to have a few word before the said their good byes. "Now girls you know we talked about how some one passes away that we want them to know we love them and not to make it harder on them. And how that its blessing to be there when it happens." Izumi said in a low sad tone while Nodoka held Akane who was still not to sure what was going on but under stud e that her mother was going away soon.

Soun cam out of the room "its time we don't have long. Girls come say good bye to your mother while she can still talk to you. The girls all went in tot he room with their father and there aunt. "my girls I want you to promise me that you will be good for you father and look out for your sisters." cough, cough in a weak voice. "moms going to sleep in a little bite but I know you are strong and can be happy in life and Nabiki take care of..." is all she got to say before the ed's the doc gave her took away to die in her sleep so she would not be in pain. As the girls started to cry and the priest started his job. The girls were ushered out of the room to the open arms of there aunt and her mother. Akane cried the loud s while Kasumi cry quitter and Nabiki just held her two sister trying to be a rock for them to hold on to.

That night no one really got an any sleep.
