Previously on The Sky full of Dragons… PAST: Spark of a new beginning

"The rain looks shaken and confused but it acts tough through this heavy downpour. The clouds are still dark as if it's tears aren't even lessened even with this condition. The sun is up, I know it, just silently hiding behind the great mass of clouds. The lightning is in conflict with whom or what, that I don't know. Mist is forming as if scared and is shadowing everything like a tough façade, leading many into confusion. The Storm… The Storm is restraining itself, closed from anyone." Tsuna said in a low voice as he looked outside once more. His eyes is glazed and tinted with orange. He looked back at the others and gave them a humorless smile, "I hope this ends soon, ne?"

"WOULD YOU JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN, We shouldn't be fighting with each other. We have bigger matter in our hands. Matters like: 'What should we do now?' 'What is going to happen to us?' or even 'How will we find our way back home?' 'How about my family? Are they looking for me?' It's just that… aren't you guys afraid of what will come of us? I know that what we should be worrying right now is 'what can we do?' I mean, I really don't know you guys and… oh my,... I'm not really being clear right now am I?"

'We will survive, Tsuna' thought Yamamoto

PAST:The Orange-glowing Egg

Being unfamiliar of where they are, they decided to divide themselves in pairs per Tsuna's request. But since there were 5 of them, Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto went together while Hibari and Ryohei were paired together.

The sun was already shining brightly but the air was still cool and the mark that the downpour left earlier was still very much present. Tsuna looked around and saw different shades of green and some pretty flowers that he didn't know that existed. But he didn't have time to admire his surroundings, he was really hungry and he was sure that the others were in the same condition as him.

Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto kept on walking until they reached a part of the forest where a lot of berries and fruits grow. Tsuna was the first one to see the area and yelled, "food!", as he ran towards the fruit bearing trees.

"Oi, Tsuna, don't go running by yourself! Wait for us!" called Yamamoto as he ran after Tsuna.

"Tch. And your the one who insisted for us to go together. Stupid Brat's gonna get himself killed." Gokudera whispered ad he followed the two.

When Gokudera reached the area, he was shocked. He looked over the two. He saw the brat about to eat a red fruit that looked like the sun, "Brat! Don't eat that!"

Tsuna who was shocked stopped from taking a bite from the fruit, "Gokudera-kun?"

"Are you stupid? Nevermind, you ARE stupid. That is a Tomato Fruit." Gokudera said. Tsuna just tilted his head in confusion. Gokudera's scowl deepened, 'Just how stupid can this brat be?' he thought, "Brat, that fruit is super spicy. Even spicier than the spiciest chili you can find." Tsuna's eyes widened, "hiiee", as he dropped the said fruit.

"Haha, that was close, right Tsuna?" laughed Yamamoto. He then picked a fruit he could reach and took-

"No! You idiot!"

-a bite from it. (oops! too late)

"Why?" Yamamoto asked as he chewed on the fruit, "It is spicy but I can take it." The fruit was brown and red in color and it looked like an erlenmeyer flask.

"Baka! That's a Figy Fruit, it makes the people who eats it hallucinate."

"What's hallu- Aaaahhhh! Gokudera! There's a silver Octopus in your head. And it's moving its tentacles!" exclaimed Yamamoto, "Don't worry I'll save you." he said in a serious tone as he prepared to throw the Tamato fruit that Tsuna dropped earlier.

"hah!? What do you mea-"

Splat

"I got it! Ha! In your face, octopus!" said Yamamoto as he did his victory dance. Gokudera's face darkened as he picked up an overripe fruit that was lying on the ground. Tsuna paled as he looked back and forth from the two.

"You idiot, I'm gonna get you for this!" Gokudera then threw the fruit that landed square in Yamamoto's face, "ha! take that!"

Yamamoto wiped his face before throwing the fruit he was eating at the smug Gokudera. It hit the forehead, "oww! You'll pay for this!" he said as he brought out his mini dynamites. Yamamoto started running to a random direction, Gokudera followed him closely behind as he threw one dynamite; just to miss, "Haha you missed!"

"Hiiee, wait for me you guys" said Tsuna as he ran after them.

"EXTREME food hunt!" Ryohei exclaimed as he pumped his fist into the air. Hibari ignored him as he paved his way through the grasses using his tonfas.

"Hibari, wait for me TO THE EXTREME!"

They paved around til they found an area full of fruit bearing trees.

"EXTREME food!"

Both of them picked up fruits they could reach and gathered them together. Surprisingly, they make a good team, except for the fact that Ryohei was too loud and Hibari was blood thirsty.

"O! They're many to the EXTREME!"

"Loud Herbivore, I'll bite you to death!" said Hibari as he preparedness tonfas. But before they even clash, a voice stopped them from hurting each other, "Ah! It's you kids!"

Hibari and Ryohei looked at the person. He has yellow blonde gravity defying hair that was flattened by a cap. He has bright blue eyes that were as clear as the sky but at the same time, held secrets within them.

Their eyes brightened in recognition, "It's Rescuer-san TO THE EXTREME!" "Hn. you're late, herbivore."

"It is you kids" then he looked around, "Where are the others? And I'm sorry for being late." he said sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head.

"We got hungry TO THE EXTREME so we EXTREMELY went looking for food TO THE EXTREME"

The rescuer then saw the pile of fruits that the two collected, "Is that so? then we better find something to carry those back." he said pointing to the fruits.

He picked several large leaves and made them into 3 bags. 2 small ones and a big one.

After filling up the bags, they started to carry on, "Let's go find the othe-" He was cut off when they heard a dragon's cry. He gasped. Turning to the two with worried eyes, "We better hurry and find them."

Tsuna found both of them in a small clearing that has a big rock in the middle. Gokudera started throwing his dynamites wildly, destroying some part of land while Yamamoto just kept on dodging. Tsuna looked at the mess and went towards Gokudera with an attempt to calm him down.

The wind picked up without them noticing.

"Oh look a giant orange butterfly" said Yamamoto as he pointed up. Tsuna and Gokudera looked up to where he was pointing. They paled and their eyes widened like dinner plates. Gokudera stood frozen while Tsuna was quaking, "D-d-d-dragon"

The orange dragon cried out. Tsuna looked in horror. It looked mad. The dragon landed with a thud. Tsuna knew if they didn't move, bad things will happen for sure. He ran to where Yamamoto was and pulled him away from the angry beast. The dragon laid his head low down to the ground and cried out once more. Tsuna could feel his heart hammering in his chest as he ran, pulling Yamamoto along. The dragon started breathing fire around scaring Tsuna even more. He ran in some direction just to get away from the dragon. He saw a boulder that could shield them away from the raging beast. He jumped behind a bush near it with Yamamoto, "Eh-what's happening?", asked Yamamoto who was rubbing his forehead. Tsuna looked at Yamamoto with a mixture of pains and relief, "oh, Takeshi-kun, the frui"ts effect must have subsided"

Yamamoto noticing Tsuna's panicked expression was about to ask what was happening when he heard it. A dragon's cry.

Tsuna sighed before horror donned on him once more. This time worse, "Where's Gokudera-kun!?" He looked back and saw the dragon creeping down low, facing a frozen-in-place Gokudera. Everything went in slow motion. The dragon preparing to breath out fire. Tsuna didn't know what came over him. Ignoring his fears, he ran in his full speed, pushing Gokudera out of the way, "LOOK OUT!" Then he and Gokudera went rolling out of the way of the flames. They stopped near the big rock in the middle of the clearing.

Tsuna got up and looked at Gokudera with worried eyes, "Are you okay?" Gokudera looked Tsuna with wide eyes, "You... you saved my life" Tsuna tilted his head, "Well of course, isn't that what friends do?"

"Friends.." it sounded so foreign to Gokudera.

"yes, friends" chimed Tsuna.

Then came another cry from the dragon.

"Gokudera-kun, I think we made the dragon guardian of this forest upset." said Tsuna. Gokudera gasp, "It must have been my dynamites. Gomenasai Tsunayoshi-sama! I placed you in danger" he said bowing down to the ground.

"Eh? Tsunayoshi-sama?" he said in confusion before shaking his head, "Nevermind, raise your head Gokudera-kun, we have something big to face right now."

"Hai!"

Tsuna looked back at the dragon which was crying out wildly as it looked towards their direction. Tsuna wondered why it wasn't attacking them. Then the dragon began to walk closer. Tsuna and Gokudera crawled backwards to hide further behind the rock. Tsuna moved his hand just to touch something. Gokudera's eyes widened and the dragon went back to widen the distance as it thrashed wildly. Tsuna looked to where his hand rested and gasped on shock. It was an egg. He quickly retreated his hand and from the corner of his eye, he saw the dragon flap it's wings before calming down to observe him.

Tsuna was really curious so he touched the egg with caution. This time, the moment his hand touched the shell, the egg glowed orange. Tsuna and Gokudera's eyes widened in awe. They saw it, the baby dragon's silhouette inside the egg.

The mother let out a cry as it calmed down. Then the orange glow died down. Tsuna looked at his hand in shock and wonder. He started breathing heavily, he looked at Gokudera before looking back to the mother dragon then to the egg with a smile of excitement on his face.

"Hey kids, are you alright?" shouted a voice.

Tsuna and Gokudera looked towards the bushes near the boulder where Yamamoto was and gasped.

The rescuer, who has yet to introduce himself, was surprised but still pleased that the two children behind him could keep up.

They ran through the forest in the fastest speed possible. They passed the area where Tsuna, Gokudera, and Yamamoto saw several fruit bearing trees. The rescuer saw a Figy fruit with a small bite. He sighed, 'Of all the fruits here...' he thought. Now, he was sure that they were on the right track but he was still worried.

They continued running.

When they were near a clearing, a voice called out to them, "Oi, Hibari, Ryohei, over here." They looked towards the bushes near a boulder. They saw a grinning Yamamoto who was waving at them, "Ah! Rescuer-san! You're back"

The 'rescuer' narrowed his eyes, 'These kids...'

Yamamoto told the summary of what had happened, in which they had a hard time understanding. I mean who would believe if there was an octopus in the middle of the forest. Hibari got pissed along the way and let's just say it wasn't pretty, putting Ryohei into the mixture and wahlah! MM, nope, it wasn't pretty. The rescuer sighed, "Yamamoto-kun, where are Tsuna-kun and Gokudera-kun?"

Yamamoto who was on the ground pointed towards the big rock in the middle of the clearing, "But wait. There is a-

Too late. The rescuer was already walking towards them, "Hey kids, are you alright?"

-dragon over there."

"Rescuer-san!/You!"

"Hey-Ah!"

Tsuna sighed, seems like their rescuer finally realized their current situation.

"Sora!" greeted the rescuer to the dragon

All of their eyes widened, 'did he just call it 'Sora'?'

The dragon let out a cry of greeting.

"Re-rescuer-san, you-you know it?" stuttered Tsuna. "Hm?" The rescuer turned to Tsuna, "This gorgeous lady over here, helped in shooing the dragon rider yesterday." he said as he went closer to the dragon with respect and familiarity that went unnoticed.

Tsuna's eyes widened on what the rescuer said. He immediately stood up and ran towards the dragon. Stopping right infront of it before bowing, "Thank you"

The dragon cried out before ushering Tsuna towards the rock. The dragon pushed her egg towards Tsuna using her snout. Tsuna looked at her in confusion. She grunted as she pushed Tsuna's hand towards the egg. Tsuna's eyes lighted in delight. He dropped on both knees and proceeded to hug the egg. Tsuna had his eyes closed as he hugged the gigantic egg so he didn't notice the others' expressions as the egg glowed orange once more.

The rescuer's eyes narrowed again without no one noticing as everybody was watching Tsuna and the egg closely with awe.

When Tsuna let go of the egg, it stopped glowing. The mother let out another cry before nudging Tsuna lightly. "You want me to take it?" Tsuna asked and the dragon nodded, "But it's yours."

"Tsunayoshi-sama, she's entrusting her child to you." said Gokudera. Tsuna looked at him before looking back at the mother dragon who nodded her head in agreement.

Tsuna looked shocked for a moment. Then gathering his thoughts, Tsuna looked at the mother dragon with determination, "I'll take good care of your child." Everyone was surprised to see Tsuna's eyes, they were the color of the warm sunset. The mother dragon made a sound of approval as it cried out to the skies.

Everyone then looked at Tsuna and the egg with warm eyes.

Tsuna carried the egg with both of his arms as they went back to the rock where they came from with mother dragon just hovering above them. It turned out to be, only two of the rescuers survived.

On their way back, almost everyone was confused with Gokudera's 360 degree flip on his attitude towards Tsuna, calling him 'Tsunayoshi-sama' and all.

"Um, Gokudera-kun, why are you calling me 'Tsunayoshi-sama'?" Tsuna asked Gokudera.

"Because you saved my life. Just say the word Tsunayoshi-sama and I shall do everything you ask me to. I'll follow you to the ends of the earth!" Gokudera declared.

"Can't you just call me Tsuna?"

Gokudera shook his head and looked at Tsuna with strong eyes, "No, Tsunayoshi-sama is Tsunayoshi-sama."

"Haha! seems like you two are having fun" said Yamamoto as he placed an arm around Tsuna. Gokudera then proceeded to lecture Yamamoto with those 'put your hands away from Tsunayoshi-sama' because yadadada..'. Tsuna just sighed as he adjusted his hands which was starting to feel numb from the same position in carrying the egg.

"Um, Rescuer-san-" Tsuna started but he was cut off when Ryohei shouted, "We're back TO THE EXTREME!"

They all looked up ahead and saw the other rescuer. He has pink (red) hair that suspiciously looked like Gokudera's just a little longer, reaching his shoulders. He also has a red burn mark on the left side of his face. He smiled at them and waved, "Yo"

"Hello G." greeted Rescuer-san. G, which was the other rescuer, handed Tsuna the bag that they left behind, the one that contained the fluids that protected them from a dragon's nose. "Here ya go kid, put the egg inside the bag so it would be easier for you to carry it." Tsuna accepted the bag and did what he we told, "Thank you, sir" G blushed at the name that the brat called him.

Rescuer-san and G looked at each other in the eyes as if talking to each other using them. An after a while G scrunched his forehead while Rescuer-san just nodded, "Tch, do what you want." Rescuer-san shook his head at his comrade's attitude and smiled at the confused look that the children are giving him.

Tsuna was about to ask a question when they saw Rescuer-san and G-san close their eyes before Rescuer-san's right arm glowed orange while G-san's burn on the side of his face glowed red. Tsuna and the others just watched in wonder. They saw something crawled out f G-san's clothea and their eyes widened. After a short while, the glowing died down. The creature began glowing and then growing. Tsuna and the others looked in awe as the creatures transform into their original sizes. They took several steps back as they stood gaping at the scene. Then the mother dragon earlier landed beside Rescuer-san.

"I believe that we haven't formally introduced ourselves." All attention turned to 'Rescuer-san' as he removed his cap and bowed lightly. He then turned to the children. They were shocked to see his eyes, they were the color of the sunset, far from their original blue hue, "My name is Giotto, and my friend here is G. And we're from a secret dragon riders' association, Gardé di Drago." he and G placed their black riding capes around their neck as it fluttered behind them.

Yay! The first gen. are here! And yes, Giotto's dragon is female. I thought it would be good to add some Parental!/Guardian! First Gen.

Another thing is that the fruits are actually berries from pokemon. Pokemon is not mine.

Also Onoda Sakamichi, Hiko's best friend from the fist chapter is from Yowamushi Pedal which I do not own either.

But I made use of them in this fic.

"Reborn." addressed a man near the counter.

"So what is it this time? Hunt rogue intruders? Deal with feisty dragon rider from another land?" asked the other man beside man # 1.

"Hmp. Babysitting." answered the man named 'Reborn' as he sat down at his usual seat. Almost everybody was shocked at the answer.

"Chaos" he greeted bowing a bit. Nana opened the door fully as Hiko peeked at the man infront of their door. "You must be the tutor?" asked Nana. "Yes maam. My name is Reborn and I am here to home tutor your son." He introduced. "oh then-" Nana motioned Reborn to come in. Reborn looked around the house when he entered his eyes stopping on Hiko who was examining him as Nana closed the door.

"The weapons you ordered are ready, but the dragon armors aren't done yet though they should be done the day after tomorrow" said Shoichi. "Its fine, we'll just take the weapons first."

Hiko looked at the red head as he stood up. 'Tsuna-kun? Who's that? Mayb- Ah! Eeeeehhhhh! Tsuna!?' He abruptly stood up and placed both hands on the read heads shoulders, gripping them tightly, "Wait! You said Tsuna right!? What did this 'Tsuna' looked like!? Did he have brown gravity defying hair!? Is he my age!? Where is he!?"

PRESENT: Riders

"Dragons are majestic beings. 'Beasts,' as some may say. They are known to have 4 limbs, a tail, and a pair of large wings. The wings are made to be large and strong to carry their bodies up into the air. To protect themselves, they are covered in steel-like scales and two claws. Some even have horns/spikes in their heads. And others have a poisonous barb on their tails."

"Dragons are intelligent creatures. They live far away from humans. Now look here-" the teacher pointed several points on the big map that was placed confront of the class, "these places are inhabited by large numbers of dragons. We call these places, Dragons' Dens. We humans usually avoid entering these places since these are already marked as the dragons' territories. Dragons are also noble creatures- very sensitive and territorial. They won't hesitate to attack a person when they sense something off or something they don't like about him."

"Only the bravest men enter these dens, those who desire to become dragon riders. BUT, I tell you, my dear students, if one wishes to be one, he is to show what he is capable of to the dragon of their choice. Many dies during these events since most challenges that the dragons ask are duels against the human who wishes to ride them. But there is another way to form a contract with a dragon. But these events are very very rare. This particular contract is initiated by the dragon itself. When a dragon is still unhatched, when it senses its destined rider, the moment the rider touches the egg, it glows the color of the attributes the dragon wields."

"There are 8 colors as well as attributes that the dragons posseses. The most common areb Red-Storm Dragons-Fire, Yellow-Sun Dragons-Light/Wind, Green-Lightning Dragons-Electricity, Blue-Rain Dragons-Water/Ice, Indigo-Mist Dragons-Mist/Acid, Violet-Cloud Dragons-Poison. While Black-Night Dragons- Darkness/Earth are hard to find. The last is considered to be the rarest of the attributes: Orange-Sky Dragons- it's ability is to adapt to the attributes surrounding it. It means it can use every ability and can change it to its own accord. It is the rarest since only 1-2 eggs can be produced by a sky dragon in its whole lifetime. A male sky dragon can also produce an egg but only one unlike females who can lay 2 eggs in their whole lifetime."

Hiko was all ears to their teacher. Dragons just seemed to fascinate him. He wanted to be a dragon rider someday. He sighed, there were a lot of things going on in his head, frustrated groan and and sighed with his hands on his face.

"Hiko-kun, are you alright?" asked their teacher.

He blushed when he saw everyone looking at him, "Ah yes. I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Please continue."

"If you say so" said the teacher as he continued what he was teaching.

Hiko sighed and remembered what his tutor said yesterday.

Flashback

Hiko walked back home, sighing every now and then. He massaged his head and tried to calm himself. Yesterday, he met this guy named Shoichi along with his brother, Spanner. Apparently they know someone named Tsuna, the name of Hiko's long lost twin. He managed to get Shoichi to say something about this 'Tsuna' which was the fact that 'Tsuna' and his friends were coming back to the village tomorrow. After that encounter, his mind became restless: Is it really you Tsuna? Are you okay? What happened to you? Do you still remember me?

And da-n! he can't focus when he was at school. He sighed once more.

"Stupid-Hiko." said a deep baritone voice from behind him.

Hiko jumped, "Reborn!" he said as he looked back to see his tutor. "Chaos"

"Why are you sighing so much? Don't you know that you're loosing brain cells when you with so much?" asked Reborn.

Hiko turned away, "Its none of your business."

"What did you say Stupid-Hiko?" asked Reborn in a tone filled with mock malice.

Hiko shivered, "Nothing!"

Reborn nodded, "good". Hiko sighed in relief when he heard Reborn cock his gun and pointed it towards Hiko, "'cause you better start running"

Guess that moment of relief was just a fantasy.

0-0-0-0-0-0

Hiko was breathing really hard when he got home. He wiped away his sweat and greeted his mother, "I'm home."

"Welcome home, Hiko-kun. Are you hungry?" Hiko shook his head, "No thanks, mom. I'm fine"

In his head he was debating on wether he'll say something about this 'Tsuna'. He sighed. He decided not to since he still wasn't sure if he really was his brother and he didn't want his mother to be troubled.

"Mrs. Sawada, Hiko and I will now go to his room"

Nana nodded, "Thank you for tutoring my boy"

Reborn just nodded his head, "Lets go Stupid-Hiko" he said as he dragged Hiko to his room. He carelessly dumped Hiko inside, "Hey! what gives!?"

Reborn took a chair and sat on it, "Listen Stupid-Hiko, the truth about why I'm here is to turn you into a great King, the tenth ruler of Vongola kingdom."

Hiko gaped, "Excuse me?"

"I'm not gonna repeat myself, Stupid-Hiko."

"No. I know what I heard and could you stop playing around?!"

"Do I look like I'm playing around?"

Aaannd Reborn gave the full explanation of why Hiko was to be the tenth King. Including the death of Nono's three sons and his fourth son, his youngest son, went missing years ago before discussing Hiko's ancestral tree in which it turned out that his great, great, great, great grandfather was Vongola's first ruler, dating over 400 years back.

Now let's just say that Hiko's mind was about to explode.

End of Flashback

Tsuna and the others unmounted their dragons and placed their hoods over their heads, their dragons glowed and shrunk as they flew towards their riders and hid under their cloaks. They started moving towards town to collect the promised armors.

When they reached town, they saw a man with a cart and a horse. They asked the man if they could rent both before bringing out a small pouch containing 30 silver coins. The man, seeing the large amount of money, gladly handed his cart and horse over to them.

Next, they went to the marketplace where they bought a large piece of black cloth before going to the blacksmith's shop. They parked the cart beside the shop. Lambo and Ryohei volunteered to stay behind to watch the carriage. Tsuna nodded as the rest of them went up to Shoichi and Spanner's parents.

"Good day, Mr. and Mrs. Mosca," greeted Tsuna as they all bowed their heads lightly in respect.

Seeing such familiar faces, Shoichi and Spanner's parent smiled and gladly let them in, "Ah Tsuna-san, I'm afraid that Sho-kun and Spanner-kun aren't home yet. They went out earlier today and still haven't returned. You may wait for them inside their room until they come back." said Mrs. Mosca

"Thank you ma'am, sir." thanked Tsuna as they proceeded to their friend's room to wait.

Shoichi kept on sighing while Spanner just looked at everything with bored eyes. They went out to meet with a certain yellow blonde haired boy that had accidentally bumped into Shoichi the other day. The boy had bombarded the red head with questions that day when he heard Tsuna's name. After that encounter, the boy won't stop pestering him so he gave up and just said that Tsuna was coming today in which the blonde boy was overly delighted.

Tsuna and co. opened the secret hatch that was covered with a rag. The Mosca brothers trusted them enough to let them know the combination. They climbed down to reveal a spacious white cemented room that was full of unusual things that piqued the groups interest, Hayato mostly as he clearly knows what these things are: how they work, how they are made, and how do they function. But what really caught their attention were several pieces of metals joined together to make flexible, fine armors.

"Wow, they sure know how to work things out." praised Tsuna.

"Hn." hummed Kyoya, impressed.

Clank, clank

Takeshi and Hayato knocked on one of the armors, "Hmmm, as expected of those two." said Takeshi with a wide grin.

Mukuro and Nagi touched the metal and dragged their fingers to feel the texture, "Very impressive indeed." said Mukuro. Nagi nodded in agreement.

The boy, Hiko ran as fast as he could the moment the bell was heard despite his friends' calls. He had no time to waste. He raced to find Shoichi and Spanner.

He saw them by the fruit stand in the marketplace. Seems like they fogot to buy the other day, "hey!" he called out.

The two looked at his direction and waved hello, "Hey"

"You're late" said Spanner in a seemingly bored tone. He and Shoichi looked at Reborn behind Hiko and nodded in greeting.

"Sorry about that. I got school." explained Hiko. He looked back at Reborn, "And Reborn, how long have you been there!?"

"Chaos" he greeted the brothers before turning towards his charge, "I've been behind you the whole time ever since you left school." Hiko just stood there gaping like a fish.

The brothers just nodded their heads as they made their way to the Moscas' House which was also known as the blacksmiths' shop.

Now that Hiko heard them leaving, he couldn't help but wonder, 'Why don't they go to school?' but just shrugged as he jogged a bit to catch up to the brothers.

Reborn was silent as he followed his charge along with the Mosca brothers. He was curious who this 'Tsuna' was. This person seemed very important to Hiko since the boy was restless and in times, was just staring into space, like he was thinking of something deep. When he observed Hiko before he introduced himself to them and when he was at school before he bumped into the red head, he wasn't like that at all.

And after that incident, when the red head blurted the name 'Tsuna', his charge started acting out of character.

Hayato paced around the room with a grumpy expression plastered on his face, "Where the he-l are those two!?, making Juudaime wait for them."

"Hayato, watch your language" reprimanded Tsuna.

"Hai. Gomenasai, Juudaime."

It was silent once again when Tsuna tensed. This didn't go unnoticed by the others.

Their dragons suddenly went out of their cloaks.

Tsuna looked at his dragon, Natsu, who was looking at him with an alert expression, "Tsuna! there's tr-"

"There's trouble!" shouted Lambo as he jumped down from the entrance and flying beside him was Roll, Kyoya's dragon and Fukurou, Mukuro's dragon (in their shrunken size) . Everyone looked at him, demanding some explanation.

Earlier...

Before Tsuna and the others entered the shop, Kyoya and Mokuro sent their dragons on patrol using Fukurou's mist. Roll was to guard the village and the forest around it, while Fukurou is to keep watch to the land beyond the forest's borderline. With the use of it's mist, it could teleport back in case of emergency.

Fukurou was flying around in its shrunken size when he saw several dragons together with their riders coming their way with the use of its dragon eyes (that was way sharper than an eagle's). Being trained and born to be sensitive, he sensed bad news coming from the group. The indigo dragon looked around and figured out that they were heading towards the direction of the village. It hissed before using its mist to teleport back.

He found the violet dragon, "There's trouble. Riders heading this way. They reek of bad news."

"How many?"

"10"

Roll hissed and Fukurou teleported them back.

Lambo and Ryohei seemed to sense both dragons as their own went out of their cloaks. Their eyes narrowed at the report Fukurou told them.

Ryohei and Lambo looked at each other straight in the eyes. They both nodded. Lambo hurried to where Tsuna and the others are while Ryohei spat some random excuse towards the Mosca couple.

Tsuna and the others stood on guard. He looked at the others,"Seems like we have something to take care of then, just perfect..." he smirked, "Let's test out these babies then." he said as he ran his hand on the surface of the armors. The others smirked at the statement.

They hurriedly went out of the shop and bowed down to the Mosca couple. The armors were teleported to the cart. Fukurowl, Nagi's dragon used an illusion to hide them.

(A/N: Dont ask me how did they manage to make the armors fit the carriage/wagon. But hey, this is KHR.

And don't also ask me why they didn't just teleported the armors into the clearing.)

They made their way towards the forest clearing in a fast pace with the cart and horse in tow.

When they enter the clearing, the dragons immediately grew to their original sizes as their riders' burn marks glowed.

Tsuna and the others strapped the armor into their dragons and smiled, pleased that the armors fit perfectly.

Natsu, Tsuna's dragon, had orange fire surrounding the upper part of it's neck, forming a mane-like structure. The flames doesn't bother Tsuna as he was Natsu's rider. There are also flames at the end of his enormous wings and tail. His scales shone orange under the sun's rays. He is very playful most of the time but he seldom lets his guard down. Tsuna and Natsu get along and synchronize perfectly under any circumstances.

Uri, Hayato's dragon, had red fire coming out of her ears. She had sharp talons on her wings and her red scales had some dark blue spots on her legs. Uri loves doing things her way. She tends to be wild but is modest towards others whom she deems that she likes. Uri and Hayato don't get along most of the time but when both of them know when to get along and stay in synch with each other.

Takeshi's dragon or dragons was/were special as they had two heads and one body. The one on the right was named Kojiro while the other on the left was named Jiro. Both of them were trained to work together since they only had one body. And unlike the first two dragons, these two had webbed feet made for swimming. Their scales were blue but was worked into a gradient. Kojiro's side was dark blue and getting lighter and turning to white at the end of Jiro's side. Kojiro was happy-go-lucky while Jiro was a little aloof. A cool aura was being emmited by the two.

Garyuu, Ryohei's dragon, had glowing yellow balls of light floating near his ears. He had a scar on his face that made him look rough and tough. He had dark yellow scales that covered his body. He always has a serious look on his face even in times that he was not really serious. But despite how he looks, he has a sunny and passionate aura of determination around him. He takes almost everything very seriously that he can't even take a hint of sarcasm.

Gyuudon, Lambo's dragon, has two horns on his head. And each horn produces deadly amount of electricity around them. This green-scaled dragon is very hardworking which was the opposite of his rider's.

Roll, Kyoya's dragon, has seven big and small spikes around the back of her head making it look like a crown. She also had spikes on her tail. Now this particular dragon is very caring despite being such a 'tsundere'. She has this superiority complex at times but she knows how to control herself.

Fukurou, Mukuro'dragon, has webbed feet like Kojiro and Jiro. Mist is always present on his ears and nose. He also had indigo flames coming out of his back to the end of his tail like a spine. He has dark indigo scales. He is very diligent in whatever he do and is very keen on everything.

Fukurowl, Nagi's dragon, has indigo flames highlighting the edges of her wings. She has mist around the base of her neck, looking like she has fur in that part. She is very bold and straight forward that is so unlike her rider. And she likes grooming herself along with Roll and Uri.

Thet must say, the armors were perfect, complementing each dragons' special features.

They went to ride their dragons and prepared to take off.

"We'll plan as we ride above the forest. We'll take them down before they could come near the village" said Tsuna as he turned to face the others as Natsu began flapping his wings and taking off from the ground.

The others nodded. All of them with a serious look on their faces and their eyes were narrowed. Some had a smirk on their lips.

The dragons began flapping their wings and took off from the ground. They all head then started to head out. Fukurowl and Fukurou surrounded the group with illusion to hide them from wandering eyes.

A/N: So the dragons in this fic. are taken up from dragons of the western culture.

Spanner and Shoichi are brothers; Spanner was adopted. I made their family name 'Mosca'.

Also I made their box weapons as their dragons. And I made Roll a female dragon. And since Mukuro and Nagi (Chrome) only had Fukurou, I made another him who was a 'her' and her name was Fukurowl.

And yes, the dragons can shrink themselves so they can move around in a convenient manner.

I was supposed to write the battle in this chapter too but I thought that I should just reserve it for the next one.
