I apologize for a long update. I will try and stay on task from now on but that'll be a hard task because school has started. Anyways on to the story. And just to let you know, Kakarot or Goku has two personalities: his saiyan side and his sweet, innocent side. He switches between both.

Legend Comes to Life

Chapter 4: Planet Amazon

Last Time...

"We came to Amazon, just to kill weak creatures! Ha! This will be quick and easy." Vegeta smirked and charged up a ki-ball in his palm. Kakarot stared at the scenery infront of him. There's something about this planet that gets on his nerves. Maybe they should check-out the planet before they blow it to bits.

"Wait Vegeta! We should search this planet before we demolish it." Kakarot suggested.

"Arg! Kakarot quit ruining my fun time! Fine, we'll search out this planet first!" Vegeta frowned but smirked once he said, "Then we can destroy his piece of garbage!" Laughing like a maniac, he took off in a direction that Kakarot was suggesting to take. Kakarot followed behind thinking about what gets on his nerves. 'Maybe I am overreacting.' Kakarot thought.

Not far from their spacepods, unknown beings hid in the shadows observing the two Saiyans. They will kill those Saiyans for disturbing their land and for demolishing it when they find no life forces on their planet.

"We'll get you Saiyans!" One unknown being whispered.

Both the Prince and his soldier scouted the area. No life force has been detected. The only things within sight were: a peaceful scenery, a nearby forest, and a grassy plain. The Prince grew fustrated that he had to search the area for enemies but there's nothing to be shown.

"There's nothing on this foresaken planet Kakarot! Let's just demolish it!" Vegeta faced toward the Saiyan with his deadly glare.

"But Vegeta, they may have surpressed their energy levels." Kakarot suggested.

"You and your stupid ways Kakarot! Fine, we'll scout the planet! I'm only doing this for my people. But when we get back to planet Vegeta, your in for a beating for wasting my time like right now." Vegeta growled...or agreed? (sorry its confusing right here)

"Thanks Vegeta!" Kakarot exclaimed and grinned at his former Prince.

"Don't thank me Kakarot! Let's just get going!" Vegeta demanded. How he hated Kakarot for his sweet, innocent side but he's still his friend.

Kakarot just nodded and flew off into one direction, as did Vegeta.

In a cold, dungeon solitude looking place you could hear weak groaning coming from a cell. Lying on cold, concrete floor was Chichi.

Slowly opening her eyes, she sees that she's in a cell. Eyes widening, she jumped up as quick as lightening. Her eyes roamed all her surroundings. In the cell contained: a little window high as the ceiling, on her right, and a uncomfortful looking bed under the window. The room looked unwelcoming, cold, and unhappy. It also could've been pitch black if it weren't for the moonlight shining through the window.

She walked to the metal bars that held her captive and searched for guards. Nothing. Its was empty expect all the other cells built within the prison. She stood there looking down at her feet. 'I wonder how Bulma's doing? I hope she's okay. That fucking Prince have better not tried anything! Or so help me I will-' her thoughts were cut off when she heard heavy footsteps heading her way. And it sounded as if it her in a hurry.

Panicking, she quickly sat down on her bed trying to look as casual as possible. The footsteps grew louder as it came close to her cell door. When it reached its destination, the footsteps stopped abruptedly. She heard a key chain rustling then a CLICK. The cell door swung open and came in a man and a scientist.

The man was well-built, and brawny. His attire was an armor that full clothed the body, even the face. (Just to let you know, a mask is applied on his face) On his back was a black cape with an unknown design coded in red and that included a black hood. His overall clothing was all black that you couldn't even see him at night.

The scientist was just an ordinary scientist. A white lab coat, black pants, shoes, and glasses. And also his supplies: a clipboard and a pen.

The man with the black overall spoke to break the silence. "Greetings saiyan." His voice was deep and rich that made Chichi shiver.

Chichi grew angry, she wanted to demand why she was here. "Who are you? And why am I here?" Chichi angrily questioned.

"My name is Sayre and this is my best scientist, Jodaw." The man known as Sayre informed the comfused female saiyan.

"Why did you bring me here?" Chichi demanded.

"The reason we bring you here is to observe a saiyan. To see its natural behavior, abilities, habits, offspring, and combat." Sayre explained.

"Why me? Why couldn't you chose another besides me?" Chichi complained. She didn't plan on being someone's observation toy!

"We had little time to explore your planet if we stayed more than our reasoned time, our ship would've departed and abandon us on a planet with powerful beings. We wouldn't want to risk our lives just for an observation." Sayre once again explained.

Chichi was speechless. First, her village was destroyed. Second, she was sent to the Palace under the laws. Third, she had to live with the fucking bastard, Kakarot. And now this! How can her life get any worse. This angered her the most!

"Just let me go!" Chichi demanded.

"Sorry, but our observations never leave without surviving." Sayre smirked at her expression.

"What? Did your observations die?" Chichi was shocked. She never knew that the people that were brought to this place were dead. She thought they were only observed then free to go. But no, she was dead wrong.

"Of course! Would you think that I would would let them go?" By now Sayre was laughing.

"Yes." Chichi's answer seemed to have stopped Sayre's laughter. Then Sayre smirked evilly. "I wouldn't want to put myself to that level now would I?"

Chichi didn't answer, just staring emotionless. Why did all of this happen to me? What did I do wrong? Who planned all of this? Who is behind this? Why did it have to be me? All these thoughts ran through her mind all at once. She became light headed and groaned slightly.

"Enough talking. Master wishes to meet you." Sayre roughly grabbed her wrist and pulled forcefully. Chichi slightly glared at his roughness but complied. Minutes after they entered a dome shaped building. Everything was neatly placed, luxurious, and peaceful. Well, not that peaceful because they kidnapped her for their observation. Looking straight ahead, she was met two crimson eyes. She shivered fearfully. This place creeped her out even if it were marvelous.

"So this is her?" A dark, unsettling voice echoed off the walls. She watched as Sayre and Jodaw bowed and thought if she should too. No! She isn't going to bow to whoever this person is. They kidnapped her and she isn't going to praise. She snapped out of her thoughts when Sayre roughly pulled her on her knees. She fell to the floor with a loud thud. 'What the fuck is with this guy!' Chichi cursed profanities mentally as she slowly stood up.

"Yes, sire." Sayre replied as he arose from the floor.

"Excellent. You are dismissed." The man gestured with his hand. Sayre and Jodaw bowed again and left the two. Chichi was fuming she didn't notice the man on the throne move straight to her.

"What's your name?" He suddenly asked in the silence. Chichi looked up and slightly glared.

"Why am I here? What do you want with me?" Chichi demanded.

"Why? Didn't Sayre inform?" The man asked.

"Of course he did. Why do you want me as an observation? There are plenty more people out there who can be your observation."

"I imposingly know that but your a more special inspection." The man stated as he walked forward until they both were a few feet away.

"How so?" Chichi asked, curious to know.

"Did you not know that you have a great power hidden deep inside?" The man asked.

"Huh?" Chichi was confused. She had a great hidden power and not even her mother and father told or know about. "I do?"

"Yes. It contains an emormous amount. Possibly greater than Frieza." Chichi growled at the name of Frieza. Her first goal was to kill Frieza even if she died trying. She wanted to avenge those who died by his hands.

"Greater than Frieza?" She had to think this throughly. "But what do you want to use my power for?"

"To achieve my goal." He looked intently at her. "To rule the universe."

"Why do you want to rule the universe?" Chichi was very curious to this man's intentions.

"You ask so many questions do you." The man stated and snapped his fingers and two soldiers came out of nowhere and grabbed Chichi.

"Let go!" Chichi yelled as she struggled to lose their grip.

"I don't think so." He turned to the two soldiers. "Take her to the cells." He commanded. The two soldiers nodded and dragged the struggling Chichi along.

Kakarot flew until he reached a forest. He looked around the peaceful scene and walked into the forest. As he walked, he could hear the birds chirping and the swaying sounds of the leaves. 'Hmm...nothing seems wrong with this planet.' Kakarot thought as he continued to walk through the forest.

After what seemed like hours, he continued to walk as if the forest never ended. "How long is this forest?" Kakarot thought outloud. Just as he was about to turn and take off he heard the bushes rustling behind him. He quickly turned around and got into his stance, ready to fight his opponent. Seconds passed and no enemy came out. Confused, he cautiously walked to the bush never letting his guard down. He got to bush and just as he moved the bushes something jumped at his face.

"Ahh!" His scream rung through the air.

Vegeta was flying through the air thinking of ways to get Kakarot until he heard Kakarot scream. 'Are there enemies on this planet? Kakarot's my best guard and he gets attacked. What is that idiot doing?' Vegeta angrily thought as flew into the direction he heard Kakarot's voice.

Soaring through the air, he sensed his ki just below in the below. He flew down and searched his surroundings. 'Where is that baka?' He thought as he walked through he forest. As he walked he saw something lying on the ground. He walked toward the object and as soon as he got there he busted out laughing. The object on the ground was no other than Kakarot. He was knocked out colded while a cute bunny rabbit sat on top of him.

After minutes of laughing, Vegeta walked over to Kakarot and grabbed his armor by the collar. He rasied his hand and brought it down as hard as he could and slapped Kakarot on the face. Kakarot quickly jumped up and kicked the intruder by the gut. He got into a stance and looked at his intruder. His mouth hung open shock and surprise.

"Kakarot!" Vegeta roared as he slowly got up.

"Vegeta? I'm sorry." Kakarot asked. "And by the way, why are you here? I thought you went the other direction? What's going on he-"

"Shut up you baka!" Vegeta yelled as regained his composer. He then looked at Kakarot angry.

"What?" Kakarot questioned.

"What has happened here Kakarot?" Vegeta asked as he intently looked at him.

"Well, it all started when-" Vegeta cut off his 'story'. "I don't want to hear what you did from the start. I want to know what happened only HERE!" Vegeta bellowed. A vein was forming on his forehead.

"Oh okay. Well, I touched down in this forest and after sometime I thought I'd go someplace else. As I was about to take off I heard the bushes rustle behind me. I stood my guard but no enemy came. Then I walked to bush and-" Kakarot abruptly stopped as he got into his stance and jumped infront of the Prince.

"Where's the enemy?" Kakarot said as he cautiously looked around. Vegeta rolled his eyes and walked up to him.

"Kakarot." Kakarot looked at him. "There's no enemy." He tilted his head in confusion and asked, "What do you mean, Vegeta?" Vegeta smirked.

"Your enemy was a rabbit." As the last words slipped out, Vegeta get out a deep rich laughter.

"Huh?" Kakarot was confused as can be. "A rabbit? What are trying to say, Vegeta?" Vegeta settled down and spoke of what he saw.

"So...it was a rabbit all along." Kakarot had a thoughtful face until he grinned. "Well, at least there's no threat."

Vegeta 'humphed' and turned his back to him. "Let's continue our 'little' search as I presume." Kakarot nodded and took off into the air behind Vegeta.

The guards dragged her down the cold, hard floors until they came to a stop and threw her in. All she heard was the cell door close and footsteps lead away. She got up and walked over the wooden bed and sat down. She put her face in her hands and thought about all the things that happened today. Why did it happen to her? Well, she was confused as ever. Not knowing what the hell was going on. She sighed and lied down on the cold wooden bed.

"Why me, God? Why?" Tears slowly flowed down her face as she softly cried. She didn't want to wipe her tears. Her face once showing saddness and confusion changed to anger and hate.

"WHY DOES IT FUCKING HAVE TO BE ME! WHY CAN'T IT BE SOMEONE ELSE, HUH?! WHY!" She angerily screamed into the void. Her voice echoing down dark hallways of empty cells.

"I FUCKING HATE MY LIFE AS OF NOW! FUCK YOU WORLD! FUCK YOU FRIEZA! FUCK YOU ALL!" She yelled. Tears were coming down her face like a waterfall. She hated how everything was revolving her. Did she have a destiny or something? Well, she didn't give a shit about anything right now. She mad about everything. She was against herself about how she down able to defend herself. She counted herself as a weakling. "Why wasn't I able to do anything? If I had fought back, this wouldn't have happened." She whispered to herself. She cried herself to sleep that night. She thought to herself as nothing.

A failure.

A weakling.

A waste of saiyan blood.

Meanwhile, Vegeta and Kakarot were searching the planet again. They seemed to have found nothing on the planet as they suspected. Little by little, they were getting bored but that was until they discovered an old laboratory. They walked inside to find it abandoned and dusty as if it wasn't used in many years. As they explored the abandoned laboratory, they came across a office like place and searched around for information. They searched every file cabinet until one read "Ultimate Power". Curious, they opened the file cabinet but were baffled that it only contained one file.

They opened the file and read its containment. The Legendary Power the title read. They gave each other curious glances and continued to read.

Long ago there lived a legend that had the power to overpower the universe. Nothing nor anyone can stop this legend. It is said that this legend was born by two legend rivals who fell in love. Their kingdoms were at war and both were to participate. Every soldier died on the battlefield but both rivals were left but that changed when their kingdoms were blowen to pieces. Their mother and father were dead and they had no other family left. That was until destiny brought them together. After sometime, they had a child together who they named Deyru. This child was kind and gentle to everyone he met. People adored him but a horrible thing happened. A lizard-like creature named Frieza came to the planet and kidnapped the child. He took the child to a far planet and blew up his home planet. Ever since the planet's destruction, Deyru forever hated Frieza. He was furious the day he found out Frieza destroyed his planet and avenged his family and people who had died by Frieza's hand. He had not entirely destroy Freiza after he (Frieza) escaped at death's hand. He was so furious that he turned into a monster on the inside. He had no control over his anger and turned on the universe. He almost completely destroyed the whole universe if he hadn't met a woman. This woman became so special to him that they had child together. Another disaster happened but lucky they sent their child to another planet before the planet blew into nothing. To this day, we have not located the legend's child.

Kakarot and Vegeta then shut the file and stood in silence. Kakarot decided to break the silence.

"So, the legend may still be alive?" He asked. Vegeta looked at him as if he were crazy.

"You don't really believe that shit do you?" Vegeta growled.

"I don't know but its bothering me that the child is somewhere out there. He or she is a threat to the universe. I mean what if the child turns on the universe and trys the destroy it just like what the story said." Kakarot suggested worriedly.

"Get yourself together, Kakarot. There is no such thing as the stupid legend so let's just leave it was that." Vegeta crossed his arms and scowled. Kakarot looked at him with a stilled worried face.

"Sorry but it just seems believable to me." Kakarot stated.

"You can be an idiot sometimes, Kakarot." Vegeta mumbled. Kakarot's ears perked up and he looked at Vegeta, giving him a childish grin.

"What was that, Vegeta?" Kakarot teased.

"Nothing." Vegeta growled.

"You're lying. Please Vegeta, tell me." Kakarot said as he pouted his lips.

"I told you to call me by my title."

"You changed the subject."

"I did not."

"Did to."

"Did not."

"Did to."

"Did not."

"Did to."

"Did not."

"Did to. Did to. Did to. Did to. Did to." Kakarot said over and over. Vegeta covered his ears and growled.

"Did to. Did to. Did to. Di-"

"SHUT UP!" Vegeta bellowed. Kakarot clapped his hands over his mouth as tried to stiffle a laugh. Vegeta was fuming in the inside and his left eye was twitching. He looked to Kakarot.

"Shut your trap, Kakarot. Your already first on my death list." Vegeta threatened. That threat wasn't a threat to Kakarot as he busted out laughing.

"You're funny, Vegeta." Kakarot said wiping a tear away from his eye.

"I don't play funny, Kakarot." Vegeta said through clenched teeth.

"Oh, come on, Vegeta. I was just playing with you. Don't be mad." Kakarot said as he smiled cheerfully. Vegeta just looked at him and crossed his arms.

"Sometimes I wonder why I don't kill you for your babbling mouth." Vegeta thought outloud. Kakarot pouted sadly.

"You don't mean that do you?" Kakarot asked. Vegeta ignored him and leaned against the door frame and closed his eyes.

"Hey, Vegeta." He opened his eyes and looked at Kakarot. "I guess we should get some sleep. It's getting late." Kakarot stated as he yawned and laid on the hard floor. "Goodnight, Vegeta." Kakarot said as he closed his eyes and curled into a ball and fell asleep instantly. Vegeta just rolled his eyes and laided elsewhere. He also instantly fell asleep. Both saiyans never felt the two eyes watching them as they slept.

Well, I guess that's it for this chapter. Sorry if it doesn't make sense. I tried my best so don't argue. I will be sure to update faster than before. Anyways, review and I'll see you in the next chapter.
