MONTH 1: DAY 25 (3 WEEKS, 4 DAYS): December 31

"We need to get ready for the party," Annabeth reminded him while moving in the bed.

"What time does it start?"

"Nine, and it's at my office. It's already seven."

"Five more minutes," he moaned and patted her hair.

"No, I have a headache, lets get it over with. Besides I need to wear a dress and you need to have at least a tie on."

"I hate those," he mumbled. He shuffled and cuddled her in a warm hug.

"But you look so handsome with them. You have enough of them." She kissed his cheek and hugged him tighter.

"Come on," she moved to get up and walked to the bathroom.

;;

"It's so lovely to see you Percy. The tie fits you," Denise purred.

"Thank you. Congrats on the baby?" Annabeth placed her arm around his waist protectively.

"Oh thank you," she blushed. "I'm not sure whether I'm keeping the baby yet. Bad timing."

"Do you believe in God?" Percy blurted.

"To a degree. Why?"

"Well God certainly blessed you for a reason. Maybe the baby could be good for you. Adoption is always an option." He didn't want the little baby to die, it hadn't had a chance to live life.

"Or maybe the baby is a curse. God tests people."

"Only people who are meant to be tested. Are you saying God made a mistake?"

"God doesn't make mistakes. Maybe bad decisions."

"So do people. I think termination is a bad decision," he shared his opinion. "It's all your decision, but maybe you should talk to someone about it. Plus there are perks to pregnancy," he smiled gently.

"Well those are certainly options. It was good seeing you," she dismissed herself.

"Well I see you are against abortion."

"I prefer to say I promote preventing abortion." He looked around and smiled at her boss and waved awkwardly.

"We need to go say 'hi' to show that we are present." Annabeth moved toward her boss with a pleasant smile.

"9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4!" The crowd chanted together with drinks in hand.

"This is crazy!" Percy yelled to Annabeth. He looked down her gray dress to see her curves again and was brought back by the shouting and her voice.

"3!"

"I know!" Their eyes met, and they shared a small smile in the mix of drunken grins.

"2! 1!"

"Happy New Year, Wisegirl."

"Happy New Year. I love you," she kissed him. They pulled away when wine was thrown near them.

"Sorry!"

MONTH 1: DAY 30 (4 WEEKS, 2 DAYS): January 5 (these numbers are actually pretty difficult, tell me if I ever have them off) (Please)

"So I take it your husband is against abortion?" Denise knocked on her office door belatedly.

"Um, yes. Why?"

"Because I was just wondering. You seem to have the most sense out of every crazy person in this hellhole. What would you do?" Annabeth looked up from her sketches, bewildered.

"What I would do if I was pregnant?"

"Yeah, I guess." The brunette shifted in her high heels. "But like if you didn't love the guy and it was an accident."

"Well if I were to get pregnant right now it would be an accident. Percy and I haven't talked about a family in months. But I would keep the baby. It's my child, regardless of whether I loved the father or not. You have too- well you don't I suppose; It's your body. But I would give the baby a chance."

"So you think I should… should keep it?"

"You don't even have to keep it. Adoption is a solution as well." Was this real? Is she really giving life advice to the woman she had little respect for?

"Okay. Well… tell Percy thank you. Thank you as well.

Annabeth smiled and looked down at her sketchbook. She found herself concerned for the little life inside her coworker.

MONTH 2: DAY 35 (5 WEEKS, 0 DAYS): January 10

"My stomach hurts again," Annabeth mumbled while stepping through the door. Percy turned to her, still in his work button up and pants.

"Take some ibuprofen," he smiled and kissed her.

"Where's the heating pad?"

"I'll get it," he smiled and lifted himself up in a haste. Annabeth faintly heard a mumble that sounded like "damn girlfriends...whipped...love...massage...tonight."

MONTH 2: DAY 40 (5 WEEKS, 5 DAYS): January 15

"Can you unhook my bra?" Annabeth lifted her shirt and turned on Percy.

"When do I not want to unhook your bra?"

"Now. You're not getting anything, my boobs hurt like no other.

"Would you like me to massage them?" She couldn't tell by his look if he was serious or not. Would he make it worst? They had ached all day, and now sweet release only hurt more.

"No, I want to sleep."

"It's only 7!"

"Long day I guess. Will you hold me?"

Percy sighed and sat on the edge of the bed, opening his arms for her. She kissed him when she sat in his lap and wrapped her arms around him from under his arms. He let them fall back on the bed and relaxed Annabeth's hazy mind. She wrapped her bare legs around his soft flannel pants, content to be held.

She had Percy- she could wait to worry about her presentation to the director of building for her third major project in being on site for building. She didn't need to stress about her new found friend in Denise who was open about her sexual exploits, but relied on her for advice. Even the cold she felt coming on did not seem like a big deal.

She buried her curls in his neck and inhaled sleepily. Percy smelled of saltwater and the cologne he wore for work: sweet, tangy and downright amazing.

MONTH 2: DAY 44 (6 WEEKS, 2 DAYS): January 20

"Are you sure you're going to the site? I'm sure they can read some blueprints without you." Percy felt her head again and pulled back with a cold hand. Annabeth didn't have a fever to match her tired eyes and constant sneezing.

"Yes. It's a minor cold or some weird allergies at most, get out of here before you're late for the office."

"Ok, I love you. Bye," he kissed her before shutting the door.

Annabeth rubbed her head, the pounding headache didn't falter, but walked to spray the perfume Sally had bought her for Christmas.

"Every woman needs a scent. I know you and Percy don't like this kind of stuff but it seems more professional" she smiled. The bottle had a similar bow to Percy's cologne and he laughed when he smelt it.

"Heavenly." She hit him for being snarky to his mother.

He headache wasn't helped when she saw the workers looking at the intricate blueprint the wrong way. If she hadn't had the patience she would have yelled at them right then. Instead, she adjusted her already tight smile, pretended her Advil was working, and straightened her small heels to appear business-like for her boss's boss.

MONTH 2: DAY 50 (7 WEEKS, 1 DAYS): January 25

"Are you feeling any better?" Percy hugged the bundle of blonde curls and messy blankets as he sat on the couch. His work tie hung from his neck loosely but he was otherwise in perfect formal wear for work: button up with appropriate pants and casual shoes.

"No. I need to go to the doctor. Ibuprofen isn't helping, Allergy pills only take away my sore nose, and Tylenol isn't doing jack."

"Schedule an appointment. They should still be open." He studied the digital clock with her until the 6 didn't look like a 'g.'

"It's worth a try. Hand me the phone."

Next chapter is the chapter. I have it written already and will be up shortly. YES!
