Alright, here we are on the first world, aka, first planet of the crossover game adventure...which is Kirby's home planet. Anyway, like I said, there will be a fusion. So anyway, enjoy the chapter and please review.

Kirby and Steven Universe: Out of Darkness comes Crystal Light.

Chapter 4 - Out in the Feilds.

...

Following the aftermath of the destruction of chaos, the two young heroes have ventured off into the green Feilds of Marsh Meadows after following the sparkling trail that was made by Kirby's Crystal necklace for them. It is supposed to be the first and only realm on Popstar for them to search for the crystal stars.

The two were a bit spooked by the gloomy details of what used to be a peaceful planet as the sparkles had led them into the realm of Marsh Meadows. It was usually grassy, lush green with beautiful plants along with trees with fruit grown. And not to mention crystal clear blue pond that makes everything look like a perfect public park. But now since Xyra's force of darkness has invaded this place, the feilds were now looking lifeless and gloomy as the plants all look dead or dying while some of the trees were torn down. The two young heroes tried not to be bothered by every detail as they continued forward.

"Alright Kirby. We got to search for some Crystal Stars here." Steven said looking around. "But I don't see it anywhere."

The duo stroked on downward the hills while avoiding the cannonball the dark possessed waddle dees tried to fire at them and the archers and missles that the possessed brunto burnts dropped at them. "Gee, Xira must realy be determined to keep us from foiling her plans." Steven said while dodging the attacks with his sheild. Kirby had enough of avoiding attacks and started to inhale the archers and transformed into his archer ability, much to Steven's amazment.

The pink child then fired his archer with a mighty charge and blasted it towards the brunto burnts, strucking them for good and cutting down long grass. Kirby stopped Steven from going further. He was about to ask him what was wrong until be noticed a huge cliff where the deep rushing river is. "Gosh Kirby, how are we going to...," he was then cut off when Kirby brings out his star phone and summoned the warp star. As soon as he sent the message, the warpstar then came just in time. "Whoa! Is this your ride, Kirby?" Steven asked. Kirby nodded.

The two climbed aboard before the warp star took off in a speed of light as Steven yelled in both panic and amazement as the warpstar zoomed pass the tall trees. As soon after a 10 second flight, the warpstar then crash landed on the other side of the ground. "That...was...awesome!" Steven's eyes were shapped as stars. "I have a ride like that! But it's not a star. It's my pet pink lion named Lion. I was hoping if you would meet him after our adventure."

The group of two then continue onwards where to their surprise, saw a group of waddle dees that are not posessed were running away like if something was chasing them. "Poyo?" Kirby tilted his head in concern.

"I wonder what's got them spooked." Steven said.

That was then when they heard the sounds of heavy clinging approaching to them as it shook the ground startling the two. They then gasped when a large figure in a form of a purple evil looking tree all mechanized and with Xyra's X logo on top had confronted them. It was called Gloomy Woods 30,000.

"What...is...that?" Steven gulped.

Gloomy Woods 30,000 then stared at the two heroes while it's scanning them for one second then screeched at them as they jumped up in surprise. "Uh Kirby...I think we should RUN!" Steven yelled. The two heroes then dashed on while the evil mechinzied tree then gives chase towards them. Then robot then shoots out drill missiles to struck them, but Steven raised his pink sheild to block the attack, but barely as the explosion of the missle had knocked him forwards towards Kirby, which weakened the boy's arm a bit. Gloomy Woods 30,000 then shoots out sevreal cannons from it's mouth, but Kirby inhaled them all and spits them back at the robot. Gloomy Woods 30,000 got hit by the attack, but still gives chase.

Gloomy Woods 30,000 then used it's drills on the ground and started throwing rocks of dirt towards the two young heroes. Steven created a pink bubble around him and Kirby to block the attack. "How are we gonna make it stop chasing us?!" Steven panted as he and Kirby made the bubble roll as they run.

Then without noticing, the two then fell down the deep hole that was caused by an earthquake from earlier and lucky for them, Gloomy Woods 30,000 can't be able toget to them, even when it uses it's drills which the hard ground wouldn't budge. The mechinzied tree screeched in anger and defeat before it went out of sight for good.

As soon as the robotic monster was gone, the two made sure that the cost was clear. "I think we're safe now Kirby." Steven said as he deactivated his bubble. Just then, Kirby's crystal started glowing, the pink child quickly took a discover from it trying to know what it was doing. The answer then famed to him as Steven tapped on his back and pointedat what appears to be another glowing light under the pile of dirt and rocks 10 feet away from them. Kirby and Steven dug up the dirt and lifted up a few heavy rocks before a shinny object appeared. The first Crystal Star.

"Kirby, we found it!" Steven smilled.

"Poyo!" Kirby picked up the crystal star.

"You can place it in here." Steven picked up a nearby backpack. "Just in case."

Kirby places the first Crystal Star inside the bag.

"Good thing we had to end up down here."Steven said. Suddenly a rumble was heard and many rocks had fallen down and blocked the hole, trapping the duo inside. "Oh, no!" Steven gasped. He tried to push it, but unfortunately, the rocks were too heavy. "Ugh, we're stuck!" He sighed as he gave up.

Kirby started thinking before he notices an enterence that leads into another area. "Poyo, Steven." Kirby pointed to the enterance.

"I guess that can help. Let's go buddy." Steven smiled before the two strolled in.

The two then fell into the enterance when they walked in,which sends them into the second area of Marsh Meadows which happens to be an underground cave. The two went onward as the cave felt cold as they couldn't see anything while everything around them was getting darker and darker as they walked forward. "Kirby? Kirby, where are you?" Steven said. "I can't see." "Poyo, Steven?" Kirby asked.

Steven thought Kirby was in front of him but the pink child bumped right behind him,causing them to fall. "Great, we're lost in the dark." The half human gem groaned. Just then, Kirby's crystal started to glow like a flashlight for them to see in the dark caverns. "Wow Kirby, you're crystal can help us see in the dark?" Steven smilled. "Poya!" Kirby nodded. The two continued their tracks deep into the underground cave.

As they strolled on, the gems from the walls of dirt sparkled in the colors of red, yellow, green, purple and blue by the crystal's glowing light while the two seemed to admire them while walking on the bridge above the sparkling pond by the waterfalls. Their moments were cut off when the two shrieked as they were almost hit by the cannonballs from the background. They looked to their right seeing that the possessed waddle dees were trying to shoot them down.

"Man,how are we going to get pass them?" Steven said as he block the attacks with his sheild. Kirby can't inhale them since they're in the backgrounds Kirby's Crystal sparkles made a track as they lead into an object which was hurried in the sand. The pink child then digs it up and it turns out to be a laser light stabber. He clicked it on and it reached to the background. "Steven, poyo!" Kirby called the boy showing him how they're going to get pass.

Kirby dashed forward while holding the laser light stabber above his head as it strikes the enemies and destroyed their cannons. As soon as the pink child had took them all out while the laser was charging out, the weapon had destroyed the heavy rocks which reveals the crystal star. "Kirby!" Steven showed him the treasured object that they needed to collect.

"How are you gonna get it from over there?" Steven asked. Between the two grounds was a deep bottomless cliff. Kirby noticed a long tube that reaches to the other side and since that he can only fit through there. Kirby got into the tube and it sent him all the way towards the background. Kirby grabbed the crystal star and waves it towards Steven, who gives him a thumbs up.

Suddenly, a large green leafy sprite like creature which seems to be unfriendly emerged from the cliff by growing it's vines, and she was not going to let Kirby get away peacefully without a fight. "Kirby...," Steven yelled until his calls can no longer reached towards the pink child's ears when the creature's vines had blocked him from sight.

Midboss fight.

VS: Petiluna - Cavern Nature Sprite.

Petiluna's eyes were glowing red with a sinister look as Kirby looks on as if something went wrong, but presses forward as she knew that he had to fight. Petiluna made her sharp vines grow from the cave ceiling to strike the puffball down, but Kirby did backflip to avoid the attack. Petiluna threw her powerful leaves and made a swirl around Kirby dancing around while dazing his vision was all dizzy and blurry and was walking off controlling, giving Petiluna the opportunity to whack him from vine to vine like if he's a tennis ball before one finally slammed him down on the ground.

Kirby slowly sits up and inhaled the leaves that were thrown at him and transformed into Leaf Kirby. Petiluna made the vines grow again to strike Kirby, but the puffball uses his own sharp leaves to cut down the vines.

Angered, the green creature has flung sevreal sharp leafy flowers all following Kirby while flying around, but Kirby dodged himself using his power to make a leaf pile on himself. Kirby made his own vines grow and grabbed the sharp flowers and threw them at Petiluna thus making her screech in pain.

Petiluna was able to make her vines quickly grab Kirby and swirl him around and around and threw him towards the wall of dirt very hard, causing him to lose his leaf ability. She then grabbed the dizzy puffball and just before she was about to finish him off, a pink sheild cut through the vines and had realised Kirby. It turns out that the human gem was able to cut through the vines and did his long jump power just in time to save Kirby.

"Are you okay Kirby?" Steven asked before receiving a nod from the puffball.

Petiluna was not finished with the two as she gave out a loud hiss and grew more vines, this time with thorns on them.

The green creature launched them towards the duo as Steven gasped and grabs Kirby in his arms frantically running from being struck. Suddenly, Steven's gemstone was starting to glow brighter as the light had surround both him and Kirby until their bodies has merged into one. A fusion.

The new fusion happens to be short and chubby, about the same shape as Kirby but a bit tall. It's skin was yellow with Steven's brown curly hair, his eyes are round with blue iris and sparkling star shapes, wearing only Steven's red shirt with a gemstone in his bellybutton and sandals on his golden feet. Kirby and Steven were now a fusion.

"Whoa...poyo...," The fusion spoke. It's voice sounding with a tune of Steven's young version tone mixed with Kirby's. "P...poyo,we fused...," he uttered in response. Petiluna launched more sharp flowers towards the fusion before he noticed this and quickly created a sheild. The sheild now has Kirby's warpstar symbol in the middle, much to the fusion's amazement.

The sheild then opened up the symbol and started to inhale gusts ofair as it pulled in sharp flowers. The sheild then turned green with sharp leaves all over. "Wow, cool!"

He then threw the leafy sheild towards Petiluna with a mighty force which was able to finish her off for good as she collapsed on the ground while her vines have shrunken down and clears the whole cave. The fusion then unfused and separated Kirby and Steven back to their normal selves.

"Kirby, we...you and me...we just fused!" Steven smilled with amazement. "Poyo, yeah!" Kirby nodded with a smile.

"I think we should call our version...Stirby? Stirby Universe?" Steven asked.

Kirby nodded in agreement to their fusion's new name.

Suddenly, something very dark had ejected from Petiluna and comes out a weakened skull minion, much to Kirby and Steven's shock. That explains Kirby why Petiluna was acting so evil. As it flew away, the green creature woke up and her face seemed to be back to normal. She thanked the duo before leaving them the crystal star and flew off. "Whoa, so all this time she was possessed." Steven said. "We really need to be on a lookout next time Kirby."

"Poyo." Kirby nodded before he picked up the crystal star. The two young heroes then exit the cave heading off to the third area.

(*Earth/Beach City*)

The gems (minus Garnet who still having a breakdown) and Connie made all their way to Greg's car wash to ask him about the absence of his son. Their wonders were proven wrong when Greg told them that his son didn't spend the night with him and that he didn't see him around town, much to their dismay.

"Wait, are you saying that he wasn't home last night?" Greg asked them.

"Yes." Pearl said sadly. "We don't know where he is, and that we thought that some strange looking key had something to do with it. We don't know where it came from but Garnet had to bubble it before it was about to lash out it's power on us."

"Plus she hasn't come out of her room all day and that she acted like the world is gonna end." Amethyst added.

"Well did you..., check the barn yet?" Greg asked. He was too not sure that his son was located there. Truth be told that he felt greater fear for his only child about this whole dark key incident and just one thing on his mind; "Could this key may be the reason why Steven isn't with them?"

"Not yet, but we'll be able to find him." Pearl said.

"No matter how long that this may take us." Connie added.

"Wait!" Greg called to the trio. "I'm coming too. For my son."

So they went out to the barn while they continued their search for Steven.

(*Popstar/Marsh Meadows*)

The duo had made it into the third area of Marsh Meadows as they were now outside the cave and back in the feilds. The area happens to have floors made out of tree barks with tree leaves and branches as in that their in a wooden area. Kirby and Steven admired the view from down below as they walked through. Kirby inhaled a nearby spiky and transformed into his needle ability.

"Say Kirby, there's another crystal star up there, but I think that rope needs to be cut." Steven pointed at the star that was sitting on the platform which was tied up by the rope. Kirby climbed up the tree branch and shot a needle through the hole which snapped the rope and caused the platform to fall before Steven grabs the crystal star.

"Got it." He smiled.

The young heroes continued on their trail as they were climbing up the ladders from treebark to treebark. Kirby then slipped through another hole where another crystal star was at which was trapped behind the ice blocks. Kirby then inhaled the nearby heathead and uses his fire powers to melt the ice blocks and retrieve another crystal star.

Kirby then notices a glowing lollipop hanging from the tree branch as he gasped while knowing what that thing could be. Steven who noticed Kirby's absence peeked in through the hole. "Kirby? Oh, there you are. And you got another star." He then frowned at what was unfolding in front of him. "What happened to your skin...why is it sparkling...wait, wait...what are you doi-" Smooch!

"Weeee, ha ha ha ha!" Steven screamed in shrill happiness as his and Kirby's skin were glowing in rainbowish color with sparkles swirling around them. Their eyes were all swirly as their smiles were wide as they giggled like their were in a sugar rush. Every time they touch or ran into a possessed enemy, they get knocked back and easily defeated. Suddenly after ten seconds, their skins had returned to their normal color as they slowed down. Their sugar rush was now weared out. They collapsed on the branch floor while painting.

"Man, Kirby...that was awesome. What was that?" Steven replied.

"Invincible candy, poyo." Kirby answered the boy.

Soon, the two continued their stroll as they avoid more attacks that were fired at them from the backgrounds. Kirby later on inhaled a sir kibble, transforming into his cutter ability. Just then, an enemy appeared in front of them which turns out to be Water gobblers. "Whoa! Kirby, watch ou-" Steven was cut out when the water dino had spewed out streams of water which splashed Steven, thus hitting to boy. Kirby throws a few cutter blades at the enemy before Water gobblers spin his tail which made the pink child trip over himself.

Steven got up and leaped over the water dino, which hit him in the head with his foot. Water gobblers hissed at the boy and prepares to crush him, but Steven activated his bubble before Water gobblers landed on it. Steven then created spike from his bubble which knocked the water dino backwards thus dases him. "Now, Kirby!"

The pink child got up and charges his cutter power before he threw his super cutter, which was enough to bring the water dino down to defeat as he exploded. "Good one." Steven smiled walking up to him. "Thanks, poyo." Kirby smiled. The two then noticed another crystal star trapped below the branch by the metal blocks. Kirby noticed a button from above the branch.

He inflated himself to float above to the brance and presses his for on the button, causing the metal blocks to break free the crystal star, giving Steven the opportunity to grab it. The two then exit the realm and head themselves towards the exit.

Kirby and Steven finally made it towards the fourth area of Marsh Meadows, they happen to come across a tall dark mechanic building that looks like a factory. "Whoa gosh! This place is so huge." Steven said gazing at the tall facotry. "Poya." Kirby agreed.

The two then dashed on up the metal stairs while being careful not to be spotted by the skull minions that are on patrol. They finally made it towards the door that had opened up for them. Inside, the place was all detailed as a factory with a lot of darkness all over with the skull minions doing most of their work for domination.

As the two heroes venture forth, they were able to avoid the laser beams and cannons. When they reach to the end, there was a cliff which there was no other side to go. Kirby jumps on the grates and whistles for Steven to come before he climbs up on the grates with him.

The two reached up into the other room of the factory and slid downward the slides. Kirby noticed a nearby sparky and inhales it, taking the form of spark. His skin had turned green while the sparks formed above his head from his ability hat. "Hey Kirby, I think there's another star right there!" Steven called out to the pink child pointing at the crystal star that was contained inside the bar, but it was on the other side that the two can't be able to reach. Kirby noticed another bar below the floor and uses his electric lightning to zap the wires which charges up the bar's battery energy before it flings out. Kirby grabbed the battery and places it into the slot of another bar which causes it to teleport the gardo to the background where it swap places with the crystal star by teleportation.

"Good thinking Kirby." Steven smilled as the boy grabbed the star and places it in the bag.

The duo then continued their way to the rest of the factory. They came across another cliff, much to Steven's annoyance. Kirby then noticed a cannon and the background where the other side of the factory is. He grabbed Steven's hand and they both went into the cannon before it launches them towards the background. But then the security alarm had went off which startled the two.

"Warning! Intruder Alert! Intruder Alert!" the computer announced as the minion troops came out and draw their weapons towards Kirby and Steven.

"Uh-oh." Steven gulped. "They found us...,"

Kirby quickly inhales a wheelie and transformed into his wheel ability. He grabs Steven on top of him and transformed into a wheelie rider while avoiding the blasts by the minions' weapons. Kirby uses a lot of speed with his wheel power which causes the skull minions to miss their target and accidentally blasted each other.

As they were near to the final door, a couple of of minions have got in their way with dark poison archers to kill them. Steven comes up with a plan and fuses with Kirby. Stirby uses his shield to inhale another wheelie and the sheild had turned into a black wheel with a star in the middle. Stirby rolled his while powered sheild and it knocked down all the skull minions like bowling pins.

Stirby finally made it to the last room, but here was a trap that was set for the fusion. Sevreal giant main minions with Xs on their heads have blocked his way to the exit and were preparing to fire their laser beams to finish them off. The fusion made his sheild inhale a large amount of laser beams making it grew larger and larger until the star symbol made it blast at back at them, destroying and defeating them for good. Once they were gone, another star had appeared in front of them and Stirby grabbed it and placed it in a bag. "That was a close one." He said to himself before he exits.

The two heroes still fused into Stirby had entered into an empty final area of Marsh Meadows. "Hmm?" Stirby looked around. "The crystal's light did lead us here. But why is that, poyo?"

Without any further warning, the fusion then heard rumbling steps coming closer to Stirby and was startled when he was confronted by the same figure he wished to never see again. Gloomy Woods 30,000.

"Agh! You again?!" Stirby groaned. The mechinzied tree screeched at the fusion before the battle had begun.

Boss level #1.

VS: Gloomy Woods 30,000. - Robotic Fighting Tree.

The robotic tree started shooting missiles towards Stirby, but the fusion wasable to deflect them with his sheild sending them back at the mechanical tree. The robot jumped up to struck the fusion with it's drills but Stirby avoided the attack as Gloomy Woods 30,000's drills had struck the ground. But causes the rocks to be flung up as Stirby created a bubble to dodge himself.

The fusion uses his sheild to inhale more missiles and blasted them towards the fighting robotic tree, causing him to fall of the cliff. "Yes, I did it!" Stirby cheered. "Now I can go bac-" But his victory was cut off when Gloomy Woods 30,000 rose back up and uses his drills to raise more of the grounds up circling them to the other side where Stirby is. The enemy screeched and started to blast more missiles towards the fusion and Stirby was able to dodge them.

Gloomy Woods rises more of his drills around the fusion and tries to strike him down but kept missing him. The mechinzied tree was still not giving up as he threw sevreal bomb apples towards Stirby. The fusion's sheild has inhaled them all up,much to the robot's anger.

He tried again to struck the fusion, but Stirby had blasted the bombs towards the drills, destroying them. The enemy froze in place not being able to do anything before the sparks flung out before the robotic tree had exploded, leaving nothing but mechanic ashes.

The crystal star flew out of the destroyed robot and landed into Stirby's hands. He then started to unfused to Kirby and Steven before they shared a high five.

"That's what I call teamwork Kirby!" Steven chuckled.

"Poyo, yeah!" Kirby cheered.

Just then, Kirby's crystal necklace started to glow which caused the crystal stars they had found throughout all of Marsh Meadows to swirl around in the air before they formed together into a rainbow portal which shows them the second planet that they had to travel.

"Well done young heroes." The crystal spoke. "You have gathered all the stars of this planet, but there are still more of them located at sevreal more planets. Do everything in your power to do your best in finding them while Xyra maybe growing more advanced than this level. So until then...,"

"Come on Kirby, let's go get more crystal stars and save the planets." Steven said.

"Okay, poyo!" Kirby nodded. He looked back at his beloved home one last time before he and Steven jumped into the portal, heading towards the next planet.

(*Meanwhile*)

Xyra had witness the whole thing from her crystal screen as she seemed to look miffed, but then she smirk. "They may have gotten lucky this time, but the next one they'll have to face won't be so easy for them!"
