I OWN NOTHING BUT ALEC.

Also this episode/chapter give a little idea about how much Alec tends to react when he doesn't know where one of his Brother's are.

ALEC AND THE BLOODLINES

"I admit it. I have a tendency to over react, but then so would you if you knew who i knew. But then again if you've read all about me... you should already know."

- Alec to a Blonde haired Male. January 3rd 1961. Scotland.

When Alec returned the next day to the Salvatore Boarding House, it was to find Stefan and Elena in post Honeymoon bliss, and Damon missing. He wasn't really that bothered about the former but the latter...

"Come, on Stefan." He said as he opened the door to his younger brother's bedroom and ignored Elena with a careless shrug. "You could at least pretend that you're elder brother is currenly MIA or something."

Elena looked at him with her wide brown doe eyes, eyes that were so similar to the same eyes that had once held both his brothers' captive. And one still was, but Alec digressed.

"So?" Stefan asked as he held the covers over both he and Elena, trying to shelid her from the Eldest Salvatore's eyes. Alec decided to not mention that he had already seen Elena naked, but it hadn't been Elena and he had been horrified. "Damon does this all the time."

Alec glanced over to Elena before giving Stefan a look. "Really..."

Stefan sighed, as he sat up. "Okay, maybe you are right." He noticed Alec's look. "Okay, you are right. Damon is missing, but who cares? The further away from Mystic Falls he is the better." He winced at the unimpressed look the other Salvatore was giving him.

"Fine then, call when you actually care," he snarled at his brother. "When will that be? Today? Tomorrow? Or maybe next year?" With the final piece of throwing his hands up in the air, and a sudden burst of Vampire Speed, Alec left the two Love Birds alone.

"Is he always like that?" Elena asked as she turned to her Ex-Boyfriend turned Boyfriend.

Stefan nodded as he stared at the door, "Yeah. Alec tends to..." he trailed off.

Alec dialled a number on his Phone and held it up to his ear before he looked at the young man he was holding against the wall and was not even making a sound. "Damon." Alec said as he squeezed the male's neck. "This is the twentith Voice Mail, i have left you since this morning. Now please, call back will you, i'm starting to get annoyed." Ending the call he gave the Human a look.

"Brother's," he laughed derisivly, "when you need to hear from them they never answer." He glanced around the room he was in and realised it was a Kitchen. Frowning he turned to the Male.

"Please..." The Human Male pleaded as he stared at the Vampire. Not that Alec was that bothered, Humans aways stared at the object that would grant them Death. Only this time it was a two legged male with fangs... Alec could just imagine the story being told in a Bar.

"Sshh," he hissed at the male, his other hand - that had once held the Phone - coming to his lips in the universal sign for 'Be Quiet.'

"I would let you go, but then I'd have a few more issues." Alec shrugged in a mock of apology, "one of my Brother's is MIA. He won't even answer the Phone, none of my contacts have called back, and I'm feeling really really Hungry. And as you've probably noticed I'm not exactly Human." He made a face. "Well, i am in a manner but I'm also not. More Human then a Werewolf, less Human then a Witch." His eyes narrowed at the Man. "But you already know that, don't you?"

"Please... let... me... go. I... don't... under... stand." He gasped around the hand.

"Don't play coy with me." The eldest of the Salvatore Brother's snarled. "I know a person, Witch actually, and she had a few... interesting details about you. And if any of them are right, which i'm sure they are. You know who I am." He let the male go as he walked over to a chair and sat down.

The man, barely twenty-one, panted on the ground. "If I'm what you think I am, what makes you think i won't kill you?" He asked.

Alec smiled charmingly from his seat as he sat on it. "Because like I said, you know who I am. And if you know that... then you are likely to have a suspicion about the Witch who told me who you are." Alec leaned further back in the chair as he picked up a paper from the table. "Let me tell you, you're suspicions are correct. She is the Witch." His eyes moved from the paper to the male as he placed it back in it's place and smiled mockingly. "And you really don't want to get on her bad side."

"So then what do you want?" Alec just smirked in response to the question.

"As i've said before, I could use a hundred words to describe you. And all of them don't even explain the truth. So... what did you call me in the middle of the Night to tell me? I'm betting that it's not about how handsome I am."

- Alec on the Phone to a woman. 6th November 2009. History Repeating.

Alec was looking at Stefan's Journals when he got the call he had been waiting for all day. "Bree," he greeted as he answered his Phone. "I guess you're not calling for kicks? Or a prank call..."

"Baby, I know better then to do any of those... especially after last time." The woman on the other side of the Phone told him as she closed something.

"You know, I never did hear what happened." Alec told her as he pulled out one of Stefan's Journal's and flipped through it. Placing it back in it's place he pulled out another and flipped through it.

"Anyway," Bree said instead of answering his unspoken question. "Damon. He's here at my Bar."

"Atlanta, Georgia?" Alec asked putting Stefan's Journals back in it's place. "No. Don't answer. It's something to do with Katherine. Don't tell me, Damon will be telling me when I find him." Alec snarled as walked out the room and down the stairs. "Whatever you do, keep him there."

Grabbing a few things Alec turned to Stefan and grinned, "I know where Damon is." He paused at the door before he walked out, "Oh, and you might want to go to Elena." When his youngest brother still looked confused he held up one of the objects in his hand. It was Stefan's Phone. "Don't want you telling Damon I'm going to be joining him."

Two Hours later Alec answered his Phone as he threw Damon against a wall. "Caroline," he answered as he picked up a piece of wood. "Sorry, I couldn't answer earlier on, but I was busy."

"Does this not count as Busy?" Damon asked from the ground as he tried to get up.

Alec paused for a moment before shaking his head and hitting Damon with the Wood making him crash into a Metal Tank. "Not really," he said to the passed out Middle Brother. "Oh, no Caroline, not you." He assured the young Girl. "I was talking to Damon, you know how he is."

Alec hummed as he pulled his brother from the Metal Tank and dragged him towards his car. "Yes? Hmm. Sure. When? Tomorrow?" He asked as he opened his car door and placed Damon inside. "I believe I'll be able to help you with the preperations for the 50's Dance."

Turning from the car he walked into the Bar and smiled at Bree. "I think I have a few idea's for you. I've read alot about the Decades. Could you wait for a second?" When the Blonde said gave a yes, he placed his Phone on the ground and looked at the Witch.

"Alec?" She asked cautiously. "I'm full of Vervain."

Alec sighed before he glanced around seeing no one else in the Bar. "I liked you a lot Bree." He gazed unblinkingly at the female making her take a step back. "It's unfortuantly for you, I know of your divided Loyalties."

Bree gulped visably as she took another step back. "Alec, please. We've been friends for years."

"Yes, we have." He still didn't blink, "but you betrayed me when you called someone else to say Damon was here, before you called me." In a second flat he had her against the wall, making sure not to make such a noise that Caroline would be alerted. "Who did you call?"

She didn't answer the question as she stared defiantly at the Vampire in front of her. "Damon has a lot of enemies."

"Yes. But none of those enemies will harm him as long as I live." Alec smiled at her, no kindness was in it though. "Call it being a Big Brother, I call it getting rid of the trash." And with a sudden move of his hands, Bree fell to the floor dead.

Turning to the Phone he picked it up and smiled. "Hey, Caroline. Sorry about that. A friend needed help." He glanced over to the Liquor and got an idea. "Yeah, I know. Hmm. Uh hu. Maybe he needs time, you know how guys are."

Pausing as he left the bar he listened to her complain about her day and didn't say anything. Having had two brothers' he wasn't that bothered about having to listen to someone. With a quick movement of his hands something that shone brightly flew out of the car. "Caroline," he said as he reversed out of the Car Park and started to drive back to Mystic Falls, "give it time. You'll soon find the guy for you."

In the backgroud the orange and red seemed to get larger and brighter.

Alec Fact: When Alec was turned he was only 26. Making him 4 years older then Damon and 9 years older then Stefan.

Yeah, Alec's a little OOC in this one, I understand but this gives you more an idea about his character. And it's also really short...

Also this chapter/episode probably left you with more questions then answers...
